Loved it very much until the moment the screw which holds the plate for your wheel breaks. Other than that great for a first time sea

No base screws in the box!!! it shouldn’t be there but still, I think it’s stupid for the price!
The chair is very similar to the Playseat challenge with more room for legs.
My height is 1.81m 15stones I use DD2 Fanatec the wheel is a bit to high so no hight adjustment a bit of a problem.
The seat material is not Alcantara. Something else is still very strong! But when mine arrived, it felt dirty!
It felt like it was dragged around the Unit and then packed to the box.
Had that light grey-brown shine which is usually is Unit dust.

Biggest downside adjustments! Its a rig for one person only unless your brother or mates are the same size as your height.

Other than that very stable after longer use it start making light noises but I think you need to tighten the screws once in a while. for 380 perfect chair for 550 get something else!
It does not fold so deffo not a space saver!

Problems with shifter handbrake plate! The plate for it pushes in to your leg bit uncomfortable but if you need it then it kind of fades away after time but very annoying at the very beginning! (sold separately)

Again research the market before the purchase you might find something better. But its deffo the coolest looking for the price!

Well worth the money and i would recommend for anyone who has an issue with space, it really does fold up easily with the wheel and peddles attached. Played for six hours and wasnt uncomfortable. Excellent item, well worth the money!.

I can only recommend this product it’s sturdy and lightweight and is super stable in terms of wheel deck and super comfy in terms of the seat. Definitely a little pricy but if your into your SIM racing and need a more sturdy and consistent set up this is what you have been waiting for especially if you like me have limited space.

I’m 6ft and my wife is 5’6″ and both of us feel the seat accommodates us fine. Comfortable to sit in for a few hours at a time. Things may need retorquing after use, foot pedal support has gotten loose a couple of times needing some adjustment or tightening. Otherwise great, the fold down back seat is useful but awkward to get into it’s smallest form.

I was hesitant. Do I really need a seat? In the end I went for it and couldn’t be happier. It has really changed my gaming experience.

It comes nicely packed and all tube inserts are protected. Assembly is quite intuitive but there is also an assembly guide with a few pictures to follow if you need the help.

My first impression when I sat down for the very first time was “Hmm it’s quite snug” I’m of rather average build so this was a bit of a surprise but after sitting for a few minutes and really settling in, that feeling went away. I have put this seat through long playing sessions (3+ hrs) and am positively surprised with how comfortable I feel.

The amount of space it saves when it folds is a huge plus and pretty much the reason why I decided to purchase. Having to move steering wheel and pedals every time I wanted to play was starting to be really annoying. This took care of the problem 🙂

    Love i

Seat is comfy and went together quickly and well. Would suit any wheel and pedal combo as you just clamp it to the frame. Pedals have a velcro strap to keep in place while playing. I needed something that folds up with the wheel still attached for easy storage. I mainly use it for gt and f1 racing games and it makes using a wheel more practical and comfortable. A good product. Well thought out. Such as when you fold the wheel out of the way to get out of the chair an extension bar stops the excess weight on one side from tipping the chair over.

I have this with a Fanatec GT DD Pro mounted and for what it is it’s brilliant but know what you’re getting into if you do buy this.

My only real complaint is the angle of the headrest compared to the angle of the main backrest is a little too much after a long session.

The rig folds up narrowly enough to tuck away between sessions but isn’t that stable while folded so it’s best tucked into a gap that will hold it folded (say between a wardrobe and a wall or similar).

The rig also does shake quite a bit when the wheel is giving strong feedback and I certainly wouldn’t want to mount anything stronger than my current 8NM wheel to it but that said nothing has loosened up after 4 months of use so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this if you can’t accommodate a fixed rig.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhat a chair. Perfect for those wanting a small, foldable but still sturdy enough seat. I started this things life with a Driving Force GT. Without issue. I have now slapped a Fanatec CSL Elite DD 8Nm kit onto it, there’s minor flex but its sturdy enough to put up with it at full whack. I am 6’3″ and 14.2st and it takes me well in terms of width and length, the downside is being a male I can sometimes feel a bit squished below the belt however I fabricated myself a little spacer which did wonders.

Great seat if you need the space but you don’t want a desk chair and wheel stand.

    Pecche:
SCONSIGLIATO a persone alte oltre i 2 metri.

    PRODOTTO SICURAMENTE MIGLIORABILE.

The product is great, very comfortable and you can adjust the seat to your liking. Being over 1.90 and 90kgs though would be a problem but actually it’s great and fits me perfectly. As the title of my review indicates, the part that connects the two sides of the seat where the wheel comes on top is missing and it’s a real bummer. Likely though you can still use the play seat without the part and is working properly.

Bought the evolution playseat in red, just to ensure you know what seat we are talking about!
My 16 year old wanted this to connect his Logitech G29 steering wheels and pedal set to.
First impressions are that this is a fairly decent quality item, well made, well finished and goes together well.
Took one person half an hour to assemble with a couple of minutes here or there to scratch head but not to taxing.
Seat is very comfortable for both children or large adults who think they are Fangio!!
    Small critisms are:
Be better to provide some better built in cable managment as the cable tie’s are a little ‘make do’ imho and ruin the final effect.
design of the rig at the front is a little restrictive due to the steering stem being to near the pedals, no sure it can be made any other way but would be nice if it were a little further away from pedals!
Only other gripe is the pedal base.
Says it fits all popular set ups and has what looks like a universal multi fit plate to accomodated all but infound the G29 logitech would not completely line up with the many holes provided.
Need 5 bolts to fit ideally but the 4th and 5th were slightly off line by a couple of mm!
Could easily drill a few mm out of plate and fit a washer on the bolts but should not need to as fitting one of the most popular makes of pedals.
Steering wheel had no such problems!
Before you fit the pedals remember my earlier point about the central stem, i offset the pedals to the right to compensate, BMW styley!
After bolting together and getting over a few faffs with cables managment and pedal position this actually works very well.
Would have given 5 stars if not for the footplate and cable managment (small) issues!
My boy is now happy as a pig in s…..!
Until his next fad strikes that is!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIch bin krzlich ins Simracing eingestiegen und hatte zunchst eine Wheelstand-Lsung.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this item to support my Logitech G29 with gear shift. I have no complaints. Is it pricey? Yes. I think it’s overpriced, BUT you will not have to purchase another seat after this one. Buy cheap, buy twice…but with this, you’re done. I re4commend you get the XL mat for this to place underneath it.

The old Playseat shift mount for this item does not mount well. Get the new one that sits right at your knee joint.

    Off topic…the G29 takes M6 machine screws.

Lastly, the customer support for any Playseat item is phenomenal! So though you will pay through the nose for this item, the support is top notch, and that is well worth the money.

The installation is easy and takes approximately 2h if done alone (as I did).
Sturdy, good instructions and really beautiful for the eyes.
    I equipped it with a g29 Logitech.
    Only cons:
1- the adjustment for the seat is easy, but is not the best if you switch driver frequently. (Not my case)
2- you cannot modify how close the steering wheel is, only adjust its inclination.
3- doesn’t come with the bolt for install the steering wheel and the pedals, be prepared. I give 5 stars anyway because is really comfortable and again, elegant.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was a bit unsure about this rig, given the obvious “deck chair” vibes you get from it. But I took the chance on it given that I don’t currently have the space to have a permanent rig set up, so needed something foldable, and the f-gt lite looks enormous and awkward to set up and take down every time (see comparison video on YouTube by Karl Gosling to see the size difference)

I am so glad I went for this setup, it’s perfectly sturdy when in use, I have a usb handbrake and gear shifter attached as well, and it all feels perfectly natural to use. The seat is surprisingly comfortable, and although its a snug fit for me, as I’m quite “chunky” it doesn’t feel too small, I don’t get uncomfortable and quite easily spend 4-5 hours in it when I get the time to do so.

If you plan to go all in on SIM racing and get high powered direct drive wheel bases, it may not be quite as good an experience as a full size rig. But for I needed, there’s nothing better on the marke

Your steering wheel clamps to the stand on the chair and once installed never needs to be removed as it folds away with the chair. Sturdy and well made and ideal for all gamers.

Brought as Christmas present for my grandson easy to set up would not think suitable for adults though if buying this product and you use a gear shifter this model doesn’t come with support for it as I found out afterwards

My last chair (same make) was really really bad, like I had it for maybe a year or two the material of the chair wasn’t padded enough and the legs eventually gave up which is weird for me because I’m not a very heavy person I was only like 14/15 years old eventually the legs completely snapped BUT I ordered a new one a while back and have been using it everyday and it’s amazing, more breathable material and now the chair has restrictor plates to stop you over reclining it and bending the legs

Lovely comfortable seat. A little on the small side. I am 6’1 and the seat only goes up to my neck. Also the structure only allows you to break left footed which is a bit of a design flaw.

What an absolutely brilliant piece of kit. I am 6’7″ / 2 metres tall and this works perfectly for me. Having read some reviews I wasn’t sure if it would be any good but it is. It’s very well built and folds up enough to be kept out of the way.

It is still quite heavy and cumbersome when folded and didn’t fit in any cupboards so I just lean it on the wall next to the sofa.

I made the mistake of purchasing a wheel stand which was an awful wobbly useless thing, this is solid and you can really get stuck in with online racing as the pedals and wheem remain stable.

This is literally all you need if you want to set up a racing sim, more expensive seats that don’t fold offer nothing more.

The only thing I would say is that I am 15 stone and if I was any bigger I think I would struggle to fit in width wise, also you do need to be quite athletic to get in and out of it!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a really good piece of kit. Easy to put together and feels very solid.
It has multiple position setup – you can slide the seat further or closer to the pedals. You can slide the wheel away from you. The pedal unit has a tilt function so you can have them then tilted up towards you or flatter if you prefer.
It comes with some very string sticky back Velcro so holds my wheel and pedals firmly in place. The mounts for wheel and pedal come with a variety of drill holes, so is possible to bolt your controls in place if that is an option on your setup.

It has a nice bucket seat feel and good lumber support. It is very low, which took a bit of getting used to. I managed to tilt my monitor screen down and now feels very realistic. It’s added a new level of realism to me playing F1 2020 game. Love it!

F1 Sim racing just got a bit more real!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersWhat can I say? The Playseat Challenge when combined with a Logitech G920 steering wheel and pedals has transformed by PC Dirt Rally and Project Cars driving experience. I’m 5′ 9″ and 14 stone fully clothed (I don’t race naked, yet) and the seat is incredibly comfortable to sit in for hours at a time and much easier to get back out of than I was anticipating.

If you’re worried about steering wheel cables hanging and getting damaged when you fold the seat, just buy 2 metres of 12mm black spiral wrap and use this to hold the cables on to the seat frame. 2 metres is perfect to wrap all the way down from the steering wheel to the pedal extension.

I’ve only had this seat for a short while but must have spent over 50 hours in it so far with a few 3 hour plus stints and can fully understand another reviewer who said that he’d rather spend time in his Challenge than sitting on his sofa. It really is that comfortable to use.

Highly recommended. I’d give it 6/5 stars if I could.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this racing seat to play Gran Turismo Sport on PS4 & Logitec G29, I wanted to go with the Playseat GT but with space being an issue this model was a good compromise. I was sceptical at first but decided that the reviews were good enough to take the punt.

I am so glad i did, the build quality is good and feels reassuringly solid. It was easy to setup and has a multitude of adjustments. The force feedback from the G29 transfers through the frame of the PlaySeat offering further immersion into the game, especially in VR mode where you get the most realistic experience.

At first my laptimes were worse, I had gotten used to using an office chair and PC desk but after a few hours I started shaving time off my previous fastest laps and by the following day I was gaining as much as 3s.

The wheel mount is on a hinged arm which can be raised to get in and out of the seat easily but it also makes it quick to remove the entire arm complete with wheel via the spring loaded guide pin. This is useful at times when you merely want a comfortable gaming chair, i have worked from home on a laptop in it too.

I’ve been watching this for ages and decided to take the plunge. It has completely changed my gaming experience, I couldn’t go back to using a controller now! If you love racing games I definitely recommend it, this is brilliant for F1. As for the chair itself it is really well made, it is extremely sturdy and comfortable. None of the pieces feel flimsy, it doesn’t shake or rattle or anything. The seat material itself is great as well, nice and thick. The chair can be reclined, the pedals can be adjusted and even they shake about no matter how hard you drive. I am 5 ft 7 and fit perfectly.

Pretty much the cheapest sim rig going, with the very practical feature of folding up with everything connected to store out the way or in a cupboard.
Surprisingly comfortable seat, I’ve spent many hours at a time in it and it’s honestly better at fatigue than the seats in an Audi A1.
The steering wheel platform is sturdy left to right, but forward and backwards it does flex a bit. This doesn’t impact on driving though, even though it seems like it would.
The pedals are secured with a velcro strap and they are surprisingly solid, I haven’t had to make an adjustment even after about 2 weeks of heavy use.

I just wish it had a mount for a gearstick, if it did it would be perfect. There is a bracket you can buy that clamps onto the wheel platform but it puts the gearknob at an impractically high up position.

I use a logitech G920 and its great, I don’t know how it would fare with a direct drive wheel and pedals with more resistance.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve had this chair quite a while before submitting this review. It was easy to setup and for me its an ideal size, I’m 5’10” and around 13 Stone. Plenty of adjustment available to get yourself in the ideal position to win some long races. My only problem with the chair was that it has nowhere to fit a gear changer! This was easily solve by going on eBay and buying a bracket for around 10. My setup is with Logitech G29 Wheel, peddles and stick.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat piece of kit! i coupled it with my Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel and pedal set with stick shift. The only thing to be aware of is theres nothing to mount the stick shift on so i manufactured my own to fit it, that still allows the seat to fold up as intended (if you want to know how, drop me a line) . Its very comfortable (i’m 6’2 and 90kg) and ive used it in sessions lasting several hours and suffered no aches and pains or stiffness.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersBought this as I have been eyeing up a racing seat for yonks!

Some have said it takes a long time to build, but for me it only took 30mins and was very simple and easy to do. Instructions were clear enough and to be honest you don’t really need to follow them to build it, it’s that simple.

Seat is comfy to play in for a long while, I’ve played for a good 2hr and a half in one session and only stopped as the wife wanted to go out :p

Paired with the thrustmaster t300 and f1 wheel add-on and playing F1 2017 is makes for a great experience!

It would be nice if it folded up a bit more, as it is quite bulky and does take up a bit of room.

Golden Review Award: 232 From Our UsersHaving previously had a full racing seat setup in the lounge – sold to the wife on basis of “of course it will blend with the furniture” and being told to put it on eBay as it very much did not blend with anything , I was looking to find a better compromise .

This is exactly that – Offers enough stability for steering wheel (G29) and for me (40 something fat Dad) plus 11 year old boy . it folds away like a deck chair essentially .The foldaway is sufficient that it will go in a cupboard ( if you could put a deck chair in there) and saves on any domestic conversations that start along the lines of “What the **** is that and it needs to go”

Well constructed , straightforward to put together and holding up well thus far .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this playseat

My wife bought my this and a thrustmaster t150 for Christmas

The seat is super comfortable and very strong.

The setup is very simple and full of ingenious features.

The best feature is how easy it is to store away, it folds together with the steering wheel and pedals and can fit nicely away in a decent size cupboard.

Reassembly takes only 5 mins and your back in the driving seat

I would give this seat 6 stars if possible

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have read a lot of reviews about this product but i was still not convinced about quality. unnecessarily. It’s made very solid. Can be adjusted to very comfortable position for me (I’m 180cm). The only problem I found is that it can be a bit to small for very tall people (more than 190-200cm). But for its price is giving great driving experience. If you’re struggling with your desk and chair it’s an answer for you. Plus another profit you can fold it and hide if you’re not having to much space at home

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersHad been using a wheelstand pro V1 since they first came out with a kitchen chair, I thought it was good but this is 10 times better.
Just sitting in the correct driving position improves everything. I can now use the pedals in a much more controlled way and the view that you have to drive with makes the games so different.
Very easy to put together, I would say some bits are great quality others are ok. The powder coating on the metal work is not the greatest in places but I will not be returning it for that. The seat is quality strong material but to be fair it needed to be. The side straps that form the arm rests are also very good quality but again they will take some strain getting in and out.
The only adjustment I had to make was moving the wheel plate away from me.
My whole setup folds away and lives in a cupboard under the stairs.
134 can not be beaten by anyone so now is the time to buy.
I never write reviews by the way 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLet’s get started with how incredibly good looking this chair is. It truly is a hell of a chair, it is an entry level chair of this sort, although it is very stable, comfortable and feels very very good considering. I do have a few small niggles one being the “add-ons” they are expensive for what they are, the main niggle is they’re is some movement within the steering wheel, around an inch left and right. Also the screw holes to place an itilia 458 doesn’t quiet match up so instead need to use the bolt that comes with the steering wheel. The peedle rest is great. All in all a fantastic accessorie. Well worth the money
