Absolute must for a Pokemon Fanatic
For pokemon fanatics like myself, this game has been my beacon of hope for a while. Unlike games such as Diamond, Pearl or Platinum, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire really speaks volumes not only in game mechanics but also character design. Personally, the idea of being able to receive potentially strong pokemon early game always messed with my head- the other games appear to fail at this. Overall 5/5 Very Positive. I absolutely adore this game and it’s characters.

Perfect game gives you the opportunity to complete the pokedex with addition of x and y including all legendary ones I found the gameplay engrossing and enjoyable
Brilliant, but easy.
Product arrived swiftly and in good condition. A wonderful remake of childhood classics with new mechanics. Endlessly repayable with different teams etc. However, if you like your pokemon to be challenging this may not be for you, as it’s an incredibly easy game, but otherwise flawless.

Lovely remake of Sapphire
I’m a sucker for Pokmon games, and when this game came out on 3Ds I had to buy it. the game is great quality and is immersive.
The only con I have is that it is the same as the original, so if ur looking for something new I wouldn’t chose this.

Just as described, game cartridge only without box and instructions. Haven’t properly started playing with the game yet but the cartridge is in good condition, clean and works fine. In fact the old save data is still in tact from the previous owner… I may trade (steal) some of the pokemon on the account before resetting the game. All looks good and a happy purchase with a good price!

I’ve been a huge fan of Pokemon for many years and the franchise just keeps getting better and better. This is a remastered version of the original Pokemon sapphire which came out in 2002 for the Gameboy Advance.
If you’re a fan of nostalgia and enjoy remastered versions of past games then you sure will enjoy this.

Incredible longevity. I reached over 400hrs before moving on to the latest instalment of the Pokmon franchise. A very strong single player game. The inclusion of the Global Trade Station and online battles, creates a multiplayer game without the need to physically be in the same room as somebody.
Dispel the myth that this is a child’s game with bold primary colours. Once you scratch the surface it is a very complex RPG with some fairly dark humour. Just read the data on Banette, for example.
Fun Pokemon game
Great game. I thought defeating the PokeLeague was the end of the game but no, it continues and there is so much here. Played it with my 8 year old and we’ve had great fun trading and battling each other. Recommended.

Fantastic Remake
This is a marvellous remake of the old 3rd gen Hoenn based games, it features parts of the original storyline but with new twists! I won’t say too much but despite playing through all 3 original Hoen games before this still managed to keep me interested! Love the new graphics, which are to be improved on yet again in Sun Moon, very happy with the evolution of the Pokemon world.

My review may be biased as I loved the original of the game on the Gameboy Advance! However, I like that they’ve kept the features from Pokemon X7Y such as wonder trade and the Pokemonamie!

I enjoy the Pokemon franchise very much and ORAS did not disappoint. Hours of fun to be had, great for children and even for fun for competitive adults. I’ve put in 600 hours of game play into this game, it’s just brilliant.

What can I say? It’s Pokemon and any Pokemon lovers will love it! It adds a good twist on the original Pokemon Ruby and Saphire games.
Like many people my age I feel I have grown up playing Pokemon, I played for the first time aged six and have never looked back. This series does keep getting better and better and seeing how the graphics have changed and the world and stories have evolved (no pun intended!) is just wonderful!
This game is a remake of one of my all time favourite Pokemon games. I loved playing Pokemon Sapphire the first time around and this remake just adds more fun and brilliance to the experience. The overall plot is very similar to the original games (which was nice to see considering how much I loved the games) however, there is an addition (which I won’t go into spoilers!) This means that there has been some more development, which for me is just wonderful and shows how much consideration has gone into this game for fans of the original game (and games) but also for newcomers who might not have experienced this world before.
If you’ve played a Pokemon game before then you know what to expect when you first start the game, if you haven’t then you begin the game picking whether you’re a boy or a girl and your name. You then meet the local Pokemon expert and then get a Pokedex and your first starter Pokemon (I do have a particular love of Mudkip – who I affectionately have always called Muddy). You then leave home to go on your Pokemon adventure where you travel to the various towns and battle at Gyms to gain badges and become the greatest Pokemon trainer and champion. However, at the same time you have to save the world from the evil Team Aqua (Team Magma if you’re playing Ruby).
All in all this game is a wonderful addition to the series and must for anyone, an old fan or a new comer.

I missed out on original Ruby/Sapphire but even without the nostalgia goggles, I really enjoy playing.
The new treehouse feature for the remake seems unnecessary, but I just ignore it.
Slightly miss the customisation you get in X/Y, but it’s nice they’re sticking to the original.
Lovely 3D upgrade on the graphics, easy to interact/connect with other players, and the DexNav is far more encouraging for completing the Pokedex- I plan to in this playthrough!
Unsure about region-locking complaints; I am a UK customer and this worked perfectly on my 3DS.

I love this game, brings back so many memories and I have been hooked since it arrived!
This is an amazing game for a Pokemon fan and it is so good graphically. I love that this game has a large number of legendary pokemon that you can catch. I like the Dex nav feature in the game as it lets me know if I have caught all of the pokemon in the area.
I find playing this game very nostalgic as I owned older pokemon games including Pokemon yellow and heart gold, I also recently played pokemon x and y but find this game such an improvement. It is also simple enough for my 4 year old daughter to play she adores catching the pokemon and has so far beaten the first 2 gym leaders, all I have to do to help her along is to train her pokemon up a little which with experience share is very easy.
I really like this game and would highly recommend it to pokemon fans new and old!
Nostalgia.
One of the better pokemon games. I have played them all and have thoroughly enjoyed revisiting Hoenn and the updated adventure that this game provides. Full of nostalgia aswell as more modern updated that will please both adults who played it the first time around as well as children and newcomers.
