Wasn’t sure how good it would be, but was in fact easy to pop up, sturdy, easy to fold back down (follow the instructions) and compact/ lightweight when packed away

The tent easily pops up. Folding it up, once you know what you’re doing, is easy too – you just curve the sides ‘inwards’ and it all collapses nice and neatly. It isn’t the most robust, and if you’re using it on anything other than grass (I’d include sand in that) you’ll need a ground mat. But it’s comfortable, well ventilated and well made. Impressive. It’s also bigger than it appears – my niece (4) and nephew (1) can easily fit into it together and enjoyed it. They especially like the fact that you can increase the shade (slightly) by tying up the inside shades.

If you love going to the beach then this is a must have! makes spending hours on the beach feel cosy and comfortbale for a mutlitue of mised weather. The foldable function works very well and you can be all packed up in a matter of seconds.

Slightly overpriced for what it is but quality nontheless

Pop Up Beach tent – This is excellent value, it’s so much bigger and taller than I expected. Seems to be good quality, sturdy and comes with handy carry storage bag. It’s a bit fiddly to put away but I find this with all “pop up” tents. Once you get the angle right it all folds into itself perfectly.

    Would recommend.

Great quality sunshade tent. Large size. Easy fit a family of 4 in to sit. Great for keeping bags in when at the beach. Can be zipper up and secured if you are leaving your belongings to go in the water. Side pockets in the ten to keep belongings safe and easy to get to. Good price at 45.99.

We are lucky enough to live on an island surrounded by beautiful beaches so will often find us down on the beach during the summer so when I saw this pop up beach tent I was very excited to order it and couldn’t wait to use it.

It was so easy to set up. All you do is remove it from the storage bag and release the strap and it pops right up into shape. There are also pegs provided to secure it into place and once all is is place it feels very sturdy. There is a generous amount of room too so you’re not feeling all squished in.

We have used it now a couple times on the beach and it’s given us a little private space to protect us from the sun for a while and somewhere to quickly change. We have also used it at home for our dog Badger to provide a cool place for him to lye in while we are all in the garden.

Once you are done it’s so easy and convenient to store it away. Simply fold and attach this strap and store it back in its storage bag. As it’s lightweight it’s so easy to transport it wherever you plan to use it.

Overall very pleased with it and currently for the 4-5 person tent it’s 45.99 which I do feel is slightly too much however if looked after it can be used for many years.

I ordered this tent to provide some extra protection from Sun when chilling on the beach.

Arrived in small circle shaped zip bag.

Tent just pops out of bag and is up without any intervention for you.

No quite as easy when folding tent back into bag, there is a knack which is just creating the right size twist when held together. Once you get it, maybe a 3 or 4 attempts it is quite straight forward. Even if you go wrong it only take seconds before you can try again.

Good size tent that comfortably fits 2 adults hiding away from the burning rays.

Will be used many times, takes up no space when travelling and pops up in seconds. Question is why not take this tent along, even if you don’t use you have wasted nothing.

Overall, this is a very well made and great value pop up tent for providing a family with option of summer shade,

    I would recommend this product.

This is super! I’ve got it to go in the garden, filled with toys for my twin grandsons. It’s fantastic that they can play outside, protected from the sun.
This is well made and the stitching is sturdy, unlike some I’ve had in the past and the material seems robust.
It’s a fantastic size too, fits lots of toys in and ample room for the boys to play.
It’s very portable and light, in its own carry bag. And once you get the hang of how to fold it, it’s really quick.

I have had a very basic version of these tents that’s lasted 2 decades, so was really pleased to have the chance to review this one.

This blue version arrived packed into a flat circle (my old one is in a tube). It’s much better than expected, it pretty much just pops up into shape with a little bit of coaxing.
It’s thicker, much better quality and in a different league to the existing one.

Everything is as in the listing photos, and as described in other reviews.
It has plenty of pegs etc to anchor it in position, but quite honestly it’s good enough when opened out, to just plonk on the sand and use.

I’m disabled and I’m going to find this so useful for when I need a rest as I tire easily , or for my other half who doesn’t like much heat.
It’s also ideal for changing etc.
Children? No, they’re not getting a go!
Oh go on then – kids are going to love it!

We’ve yet to try it on a beach but i can’t see any reason why there should be a problem. If so I’ll update this review.
    I’m really pleased with it.
    Happy to recommend.

Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

I expected it to be smaller but its quite big which is definitely a good thing for us. Once out-of the bag it will pop up into shape easily. It’s a bit fiddly putting back but once you have the hang of it its fine. Will be ideal for the beach or the garden, our 5 year old was most impressed!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis very useful pop-up tent comes in a neat zip-up bag, just 2ft in diameter, with a carrying handle. Made from polyester fibre, it is both robust and light-weight.
Erection is simple, remove from the bag, release the retaining strap and, as the name says, it just pops-up. Also in the bag are twelve plastic stakes and four guy ropes which are contained in their own tie-up bag.
The tent has eyelets at the base for six stakes and, if necessary, there are four eyelets half way up the corners to secure the guy ropes to the other four stakes. Additionally, there are four attached containers that can be filled with sand or shingle.
The “door” can be zipped closed, or laid out to extend the ground sheet. There are three mesh windows that let in light and air, but these can be covered by built-in flaps to keep out wind or provide a “modesty shield”.
This tent is perfect for the garden, beach or park and can be erected on almost any flat surface. Perfect for a family picnic or for children to play in the garden or for a family outing, my grandchildren love it.
One of my daughters, who’s a tri-athlete, frequent sea swims early in the morning. She has found this tent perfect for changing into and out of her wetsuit. She says the shelter it provides when coming out of the sea in a cold wind is very welcome.
Taking down the tent and packing it back in the bag is easy if the instructions are followed. Having done it a few times it becomes instinctive. There is a very useful instruction video on the Amazon product page.
I’m impressed with this tent and would recommend it.

This pop up beach tent is available in green or blue and can fit up to 4 people inside it. It’s currently priced at 38.98

When I received the tent I was surprised at how lightweight it actually is. It weighs 4.96lbs and is quite compact, so can be easily thrown into the boot of your car to take to the beach and once you get there, you won’t need an army to carry it

The tent is made of waterproof polyester with an eco friendly silver coating. It comes with 6 plastic ground pegs and 4 wind ropes

Once you take it out of the bag, it just pops up into shape, you then just need to secure it with the pegs and ropes provided, but there are also spaces at the corners to place sandbags or stones to keep it steady

The tent has a wide open door at the front, which can be closed over, handy for getting changed in at the beach. As well as 3 mesh windows

There is a video on the sellers page showing you how to put the tent up, and most importantly how to put it down again afterwards. This is easy to follow and has to be one of the best I’ve seen. There are also photo instructions on the sellers page too

    Happy to recommend

Pop Up Beach Tent from SAMIT

After using this a couple of times in the garden, picnic in the park, and lakeside, I am confident to give it a five-star review. It has a decent quality compared to other similar products I’ve used in the past. Having the chance to use it a couple of times without getting a ripped stitch, I could say it does its job well.

It’s a basic type of picnic tent. Just pop it out, then attach the pegs to secure it. If you’re unsure how to fold it, I suggest watching videos online. Recommendable.

This pop-up beach tent is just as good for use in a park or garden. It is so easy to assemble. Just take it out of the supplied carry case and under the strap and it springs into shape.

It has walls on three sides with flaps that can be put over the vented windows to keep out wind, and a floor. It comes with pegs to secure it in place in the ground or in sand.

Putting it away is a bit more tricky and took me a couple of attempts to get it right. It does have quite clear instruction on folding it up and once mastered it is quite easy and slips right back into the carry case.

This is a great little pop up tent that literally pops up the minute it is released from its bag!
It is a good roomy size and fine for a family or four adults.
It is very lightweight so they have included little sandbags to fill.
There are also covers for the mesh windows to keep out the wind

We usually put all our backpacks and food inside to help weigh it down.

It is worthwhile watching the video on the product information to see how to fold it back down, but its pretty straight forward.

Doesn’t take long at all to set up and if you have little ones or anyone with a sun allergy, sensitive skin etc etc this will be absolutely perfect. Also perfect for keeping your belongings out of direct heat such as phones and food. Super versatile as you can take it to the beach or to a picnic. Fits the entire family as it’s so spacious. It easily withstands my toddlers crazy activities which means it’s sturdy. Definitely worth the money

This is a great pop up tent.
All you have to do is let it out of the bag and its up.
It is a lot bigger than I expected and extremely lightweight.
It packs away really flat and because it’s lightweight it is easy to carry if taking to the beach.
We were just happy to have it in the garden where the grandchildren all got inside.
Great fun even the dogs like it!
To fold away you just flatten until teardrop shape then pull the top point down and it curls I to rounds to fold together and get the elastic around to hold it while you get it back in the bag.
Easy once you have watched the video that is in the description.
    Great value for money

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis two person beach pop up tent size: 50 ” length x 57 ” width x 50 ” height. Weighs: 2lb 9oz. It’s so easy to pop up in literally a second. There are 10 pegs to secure it in soil (2 for the door, 4 for the base and 4 for the guy ropes). There are 8 guy ropes in my pack but the product description only states there should be four . There are sand bag pockets at the 4 corners which can be filled on the beach to secure the tent.
I’ve put this tent up in my garden on four consecutive days with blanket/mats for my cats to enjoy. Each evening I have folded away the tent and stored it. I put the tent up on the fourth day when it was quite blustery. I secured it with all 10 pegs. It stayed in place. I was however concerned how much force the frame could tolerate from the wind. The tent remained flexible but did dimple in in places.
I’m very impressed with this tent. I have not tried it in the rain but I doubt it’s weather proof to any substantial degree. It does hold off the wind and creates a sun trap.
It is priced at 27.99 for the two man tent.
There is a claim that two chairs can be put in side the tent. These would have to be ground level sun loungers as the tent does not have the height needed for chair sized chairs. I have been happy to lie on the ground sheet which is a decent size when you factor in the opened door.
I’m very happy to recommend this te

This arrived this morning and it looked tiny. The package looked as though it was a poster, it was so thin.
The tent is packed into a bag about 18inches in diameter. When you unzip it the tent jumps out like a cartoon tent, shakes itself and becomes a 4man tent.
It has a wide front door and 3 mesh windows which ventilate the tent & keep it cool. You can also lock it, though a not very determined thief with a knife could get in easily – but it would deter any passing pilferer.
    It’s dimensions are 78.74″ L x 59.06″ W x 53.15″ H with a 39.37″ front porch. It weighs c. 5lbs (2.2k) and when folded fits easily into the boot of your car.
Is this where it starts to become less than perfect?
I have had experience of these tents before and they are impossible to fold back into the bags. But, yet again, this tent surprises. There is a diagram of how to fold it in the bag – and it works. 1 person can do it, though I suspect it would be even easier for 2.
The product description makes no mention of how waterproof it is. I know it is not designed to be an all night tent, but it sometimes rains on beaches. As yet I have not been able to test this. I should imagine it is showerproof, but probably wouldn’t remain dry in a deluge.

My challenge when buying tents is to put the thing away again without looking at the instructions. Putting it up was a doddle. Just unzip out the bag, and throw it up (or unfold if you want to less chaotic) then its just a case of pegging out. It has a multitude of uses. The putting away for me was way easier than some of my tents. Others may want to instruct the manual on the best way to take down but it only took me about 30 secs to put away.

It fold & unfolds easily, nice size, not too big, nice colour, perfect for beach or in your garden to keep the sun of children, has breathable netting if you want to roll/ unroll the cover on / off the sides, didn’t blow away with the wind starting to get stronger (but was pegged into the ground), material is waterproof. What I did notice was when I sealed the air flow at the 3 side it became very stuffy & warm inside so I would highly recommending at least keep 1 air flow area open to let air in / out especially if your using it for children to play in the summer months!

This pop up beach tent was delivered in its own zipped carry bag .

The tent does what it says , it’s erected in less than 30 seconds , literally drop it out of its bag and it pops up ! It has mesh windows in three sides and a good length front base cover that you can sit on , it takes just a little Ionger to fold it back up into its bag ( make sure you read the instructions after a few times.it becomes second nature )

Made from a lightweight material it comes with ground stakes to secure it , it’s great for the grandkids to sit in on the beach or at the country park ( they like to picnic away from flies .)

This Pop up tent is large enough for four small people or parents and toddlers . It’s great value for money just under 40 . Best of all is the summery mint green colour !

Pops up easily , folds back into carry bag

Decided to try this indoors but didn’t really have space to open it out fully- the cat approved however and wouldn’t shift so I could take a picture
This would fit 4 people sitting fairly closely but not squashed in. I like that the mesh windows have a solid flap that you can button up if you want privacy or possibly a break from the wind. There are long pockets along either side to store items off of the floor which will come in handy.
It is designed with pouches attached that you can fill with sand if on the beach and also pegs and guy lines.
I managed to get this folded and back in the bag reasonably easily, although I don’t think I really followed then instructions properly! I can imagine it might be rather more challenging struggling with this on a windy beach though. There is a video online for further help if needed.

Easy to use and well designed

I really love this 4 person open tent, It’s very easy to open and comes with strong plastic tent pegs and even adjustable guide ropes for stronger fixing if needed. I tried it out with 4 big adults and we could all sit in it comfortably, it has mesh windows and inside privacy covers and is sealed all around from sand or grass, I think it would withstand a light shower too. The front closes too if needed for privacy when changing on the beach, it’s a super idea and looks very well made. Getting it down is a little tricky at first but there are instructions and video links to watch how it’s done too, (it’s folded then twisted into a circle). It comes in its own bag and can be easily stored in the boot of the car, it lightweight too. Please see my photos, I’m genuinely impressed with it (as is my son and his partner). I’m therefore happy to recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWith the summer coming, i thought I would pick up a second pop-up shelter for use at the beach and park, as we found that 1 was just a little small when my parents came with us.

This tent is almost identical to our existing one. It is made from a thin, light weight nylon material with a mesh panel in the rear and either side. Wires run through the tent, which help it to keep it shape when erected and to “pop-up” when removed from its bag.

The base measures approximately 125cm x 125cm and is around 125cm in height (at the center). The door can be zipped closed or laid out as a blanket. There are nylon flaps inside the tent which can be hooked into place to cover the mesh panels — this is useful for using the tent to change your clothes in or for helping to keep out wind.

On the outside, there are 4 tape hoops at about half height, that are used to attach guy lines to secure the tent to the ground, 4 hoops on the bottom (1 in each corner) and there are also 4 pockets that can be filled with sand or pebbles to further secure it to the ground.

    ***** In The Box *****

    1 x Pop-Up Shelter
    10 x Plastic Pegs
    8 x Guy Lines
    1 x User Guide

    ***** Installation / Usage *****
Being as this is a pop-up type shelter, it is extremely fast to put up.
You literally need to remove it from the storage bag, unhook the elastic loop and then let the shelter spring into shape.

Inside there is a good amount of room, and you can just about accommodate 2 adults on fold up chairs with just enough space for a small child or 2. If you don’t have the chairs, it definitely gives you more space to move.

    ***** Conclusion *****

As a simple shelter to give you some shade, I think this is a pretty good product. It is extremely fast and easy to put up (as expected) and provides a reasonable amount of protection from the wind.
It would help to keep a light shower off you, but definitely wouldn’t protect you from the rain, due to the lightweight material and the design of the mesh panels. If the flaps that covered the mesh were on the outside, then the rain would run off of them, but because they are inside, any water would run through the mesh and then down the inside onto the floor.

I like that SAMIT have included a decent amount of pegs to help anchor it to the ground and in my pack, I received 8 guy lines instead of 4, which is really handy as it means you can lash the tent down in different directions to help stop any wind from deforming the frame.

I also like the compact size of the product when packed away — it measures approximately 50cm in diameter.

The only thing I would say is that I think the price is a bit steep at 38.99, when other identical products are available for between 26 to 30. So although I wouldn’t recommend this product based purely on it’s current price, I would shop around and get whichever brand is offering the best price at the time of ordering — and should that happen to be this brand, then I would have no problem choosing it.

A really neat little item this. So useful if you want to keep sand out of your gourmet picnic or if someone in your party is highly sensitive to sunlight. Great if you have a baby with you! It isn’t light but is reasonably easy to carry and pops open in an instant. It isn’t so easy to get back in its bag, though, and I suggest you practise the whole thing several times before venturing onto the beach. I’ve taken a star off for this difficulty as I think the design could be improved to make it more idiot proof.

This cool looking pop up tent/shelter is super easy to erect. Simply remove from the round storage bag, remove the elastic band and hey presto the tent pops up by itself with a little flick
No time comsuming threading of tent poles needed, so if the heavens open and you need to keep dry it takes seconds to create a shelter rather than standing there for what seems like ages in the rain/wind trying to get tent poles threaded through lol.
I’m not exactly sure how water resistant this is though to be honest as there are no indications of the level of hydrostatic head (hydrostatic head is the ability of the fabric and any applicable spray to shed water, causing the water to bead and run off the fabric rather than soaking through)
You can apply a spray called fabsil to the fabric though to improve water resistancy. It doesn’t appear to have taped seams either (this is a waterproofing tape applied to the stitched parts of the tent)
It does however have a UV resistancy of 50 which will provide a degree of protection from the inside heating up too much, reducing colour fading and providing protection from UV rays.
It has 3 mesh windows for providing ventilation with window covers inside the tent for closing the window vents, useful if it’s windy and raining and also useful if it’s particularly warm or hot inside the tent. The covers can be rolled up and secured with a couple of plastic ringlets inside or just leave them to hang down.
The fabric is a cool aqua colour, seems pretty good quality for a small tent/shelter and has a silver backing inside to help reflect UV and keep the inside cooler.
The fabric is single skin (just 1 layer) and the ground sheet is built in so again no need to peg out a separate ground sheet for easy erecting.
There are mesh storage pockets inside the tent for storing items such as mobile phones/devices, sun cream etc etc and are a nice size (pockets on both sides of the tent)
The entrance to the tent is opened and closed with a 2 way zip and can be pegged out in front of the tent when open to create another ground sheet porch area.
The tent also has pegging points in the corners for securing and guyline rope guides for extra securing (especially useful in windier conditions and helps to keep the tent stable) guylines and pegs are supplied as well.
What I also like about this tent is it also has 4 outside pockets in each corner for filling up with stones or sand to keep the tent square and stable (excellent feature and shows the manufacturer thought about the end user for easy use)
I would say that it is a little on the flimsy side and definitely needs a degree of securing with either the outer pockets being filled with sand or stones, pegging out and guylines. It doesn’t stand very well on its own especially in windy conditions but that’s not much of a problem tbh…. Just make sure you take a rubber mallet with you for banging in the tent pegs.
Size wise I’d say it will comfortably hold a couple of adults or 4 at a push, would be a tight squeeze though lol.
The pop up wire poles feel strong yet flexible enough to take the tent down without worrying that anything is going to snap.
Taking down is a little more effort but after watching the video and looking at the enclosed instructions it’s an easy enough task to do and get back into the storage bag.
The storage bag has a single zip zipper to keep the tent packed away and both zippers on the tent and bag are good quality zippers.
I would say that at just under 30 at time of this review that seems a little on the expensive side for a beach tent/shelter but it does have some good features and is definitely made really well with good stitching and zippers.
The tent also conforms to fire regulations but with any tent never use flammable substances, cooking, camp fires etc near the material.
My little boy loved it when we popped this open indoors to test out and got inside with some of his toys.
It’s going to be very handy when the summer gets here as we live close to the seaside, have a lot of open green space and we regularly go camping.
This beach tent will easily store inside the boot of the car without taking much space up with its circular flat storage bag.
Overall this is a good quality tent /shelter which gets 4 stars
