Really handy security & or light. I use mine at my balcony door if I’m sat out at night & the auto mode is an added security bonus for me. I can’t believe how cheap the cost was it’s not too big nor small. I like it’s 360 rotation. Can’t go wrong even if it dosent last a year for the price it’s great.
What I like about this light is that it’s bright, it does not depend on Solar as it has a battery and you can put it anywhere, inside or out. I have mine by patio doors so that I know when my cat wants to come in when it’s dark. Also helps with lighting the recycling area when I pop out there.
As an electrician trust me these are bright. Well mine are.
They take 3x AAA batteries. I fitted 3000mah rechargeable batteries. Not sure how long this will last but these lights don’t come on alot.
Would have been nice to have a paper template for the fixing screws. These are very light and you only need 2 screws to hold them up.
Haven’t tried the sticky pad they supply.
There’s no motion sensitivity to adjust which is hand. Thr operate as soon as you walk within 10feet, we’ll mine do.
I’m looking to buy some more , hopefully they may be in January sales, fingers crossed
I bought this light as we have carers coming in the dark. I did buy solar lights first but when there is not much daylight it doesn’t light for long enough. The battery one is perfect for this and I don’t have to worry about the carers falling down the outside steps. Also it is detachable so if I need to got out to the shed I can take it with me. May buy another at some point, I am impressed
This is a wonderful little light for the price. Easy installation with the sticky pad. A few AAA batteries and we were away. The motion sensor is brilliant as it then only comes on when it is needed so reserving the battery power. It has been inconsistent during daylight at coming on so not sure if it also senses how much light there is. Works perfectly when dark then which was the aim so I’m happy.
I installed in our front porch to help see the keys when we get home in the dark. However it will also act as a deterent to intruders as should they open my outside door the light immediate comes on.
Does exactly what I wanted it to. Would definitely purchase again.

It works, if used outside the on/off switch can leak, a bit of electrical tape over it will solve it, I liked it so much that I bought an other one
These are very easy to fit, the lights are bright and the beam is adjustable.
I did find that the adhesive sticker that came with it I found it didint stick to wood and the screws were cheap and nasty when I went to screw them into the wood you could get them in so far then the head of the screws would disintegrated.
I ordered two and they arrived promptly. I use them to view my dogs in the garden and they pick up the movement and are on long enough to be useful.
Fantastic little light! I bought this light to replace an 80+ mess of wires and smart technology that failed after six months and it’s been amazing! So easy to put up, bright and doesn’t budge, even with just the sticky pad holding it in place. Handy at night for taking the dog outside too because I can just remove the light from the mount and use it. My father-in-law was so impressed by my little light, he even bought himself one!
The back 2 side tape was useless,hence 3 star. I did not want to drill holes,I had to.
Installed in entrance porch at top of steps to front door of town house, with some street lighting visible. Responds to movement on steps after dark, despite street lighting. Very bright light. Easy to install (stuck to wall with protection from rain). Simple, discreet design. Highly recommended!
I bought this for my holiday home abroad. Easy to fix using adhesive pad. Excellent motion sensor light, doesn’t stay on for long once motion is no longer detected so battery drain is minimised. Very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this light to go in the garage where I keep my classic car. I am yet to fit it but it looks like it will do the job perfectly. It is a very bright light and hopefully the batteries last a decent length of time.
It is very lightweight and looks very easy to fit.
It is a really well made bit of kit and works really well to light up our gate lock early morning/late at night. It is small enough to not get in the way but large enough and bright enough to see they way. Well worth the money.
It was ok to fit, cheap feel but does the job. We bought to put next to key safe for a friends house. Sensor comes on when you walk near it. The area needs to be dark or it wont work. Street lamp stopped it working where it was first placed so be mindful of that.
This product was bought to illuminate the area just at the back of the house when we let the dog out into the garden at night. Being a dark coloured dog and having double glazing meant that it was difficult to see him against the reflection of the interior lights in the door windows when he returned. It was so easy to install and set up and the brightness is perfect. Couldn’t have wished for a better light. Well pleased with it.

Installed batteries, n its lights up my tiny footpath to my door brilliantly!. Very good motion detection. Goes off when anyone walks past, walks up my path, and when a car goes past!. The motion detection light goes off after 25 seconds. One thing i have done, is cover the whole of the round bit (that has the batteries in), with clingfilm to protect against wind n rain. Has worked really well so far.

This light is amazing. It was so easy to set up! Pop in the batteries, turn the unit to auto, attach the sticker pad and place where you want it to go!! What could be simpler. The light triggers perfectly when motion is detected, it is bright and perfect for what I needed.
Just popped in 3 batteries and was ready to work. Used the supplied double sided sticky pad to attach to a downspout and just swivelled the light in its housing to the desired angle and that was it. Less than 5 minutes to setup and install. The motion detector works well and just the right amount of light for a small product and the area I wanted to light up.
Used this product to light up steps in my garden where I can’t get an electricity supply. Worked well for about 6 weeks. Vey bright and sharp light. Quite a narrow range for the sensor. After about 6 weeks it stopped working as the lens had become waterlogged. The refund process with Amazon was very quick and easy, so I got a refund and ordered another which arrived the next day. Again, it’s working very well; it remains to be seen whether this one will be weatherproof. Looking at the design of the switch I doubt it. So I would say this is a really good product for indoor use or externally if it’s protected (eg under a car port) but not really for truly outdoor application.
Excellent – but some advice re fitting to wall, or whatever surface. I noted that some purchasers complained that the light was not secure enough in its mounting. After installing my light on a concrete wall, I found that the security of the ball fitting back into its housing had greatly diminished. However, when I then unscrewed the mounting plate and re-tested security with the light ball put back into it, the result was perfect. It became apparent that the surface to which the backing frame is attached must be absolutely flat. If you’re mounting on a rough surface, try placing a small wooden board on that surface first and then screw the backing plate onto that. Problem solved.
This is lightweight and cool design and so far seems to work fabulously and is very easy to install. Not sure how long it will last but no reason to expect it will not and I would buy another for a different location without hesitation. Its not uber bright but plenty good enough for in my outdoor lobby and I am pleased with the purchase!

It doesn’t keep its brightness for long after changing them and that’s with Duracell Batteries.
I’m thinking of changing it now to a more permanent type of outside light. Probably ok if it doesn’t need to keep coming on , like in a shed/ garage or something, but not so good for frequent use.

Have a nail it is put on. The light fell out of the holder to easily when trying to position the beam. The light is bright and stays on for a few minutes while moving around.
Really liked this small but surprisingly bright little light. Easy to install as you can choose to drill it or use the powerful double sided sticky pad. I chose the latter placing it on the top corner of my kitchen window.
As soon as my puppy runs out to do his business the motion sensor triggers immediately and the very bright light illuminates my garden. It’s on a full swivel too so is easy to direct the beam exactly where you need it. Great little light as a replacement for a twin set of another make that I bought only to find both not working. I am ordering a second one for over my front door. Highly recommend this item.
Great bright light although a little flimsy. Just bought our 2nd one to go in our loft, but unfortunately battery wires not where they should be, however on sending a picture we were promptly asked whether we wanted a refund or replacement. Have asked for a replacement as 1st one is so good. Only downside is that at that price it would’ve been nice if the batteries had come with it.
This light is really easy to install and is very bright..we have put one in our shed and as it’s motion controlled it comes on when the shed door opens the second one was put on the wall by our back fence which lights up a very dark area of our garden brilliantly ..so easy to install with a very strong self adhesive pad on the back you can peel off and stick anywhere..The delivery was very quick and the price is great we will be buying more over the winter periodexcellent buy very happy with this purchase
Easy to put up came with screws and a sticky patch. Very bright light. It can be swivelled to anywhere you want the beam. Small enough to put anywhere but big enough to be seen. I like the fact it looks like a camera. Makes me feel even more safe. Picks up body movement about 3ft radius maybe more. It can be popped out to use like a torch. Works in the dark not daylight. Not an odd statement to make I’ve got 2 that work night and day. Light stays on approximately 1 minute. Came quickly and well packaged.
Originally tried to stick this light up with the sticky tape provided, it kept falling down! Eventually had to ask somebody to screw out on for me, for Hecht I was not happy! The reasons n ai cheese the particular item was to avoid screws!

I wanted a new battery light for the back door, so thought l would try this one, as normal l have had AA Batteries.
this one is AAA Batteries, this light it self is great, good bright light, comes on when it should, easy to install l have had no problems with it, the only reason l have given it a 4 star is the batteries do not last as long in it as it really gos quite fast, even with good batteries.
Used it in an out side covered porch, easy to install and set up. Ideal if you do not want to hard wire. I would not use on walls exposed to the elements though.
This small proxinova indoor/outdoor light is brilliant. It is very bright, the motion detection is excellent and very easy to install. I installed one inside a cupboard and the other in the decking outside the kitchen door. We are so happy with these lights that my husband bought another one for his garage.
The only thing that us stopping me making it a 5 star is the cheap plastic. If that was of better quality then 5 stars all the way. This is me being very picky though
It was easy to install. I have it in a sheltered outdoor location to light the area around a shed door. It seems well suited to that.
It provides sufficient light for a brief 30 seconds at a time. Since it uses AAA batteries, I wouldn’t use it in a location that gets a lot of traffic, as it would likely burn through the batteries in short order. I would have gladly given up some compactness in favour of bigger AA batteries. But we’ll se how it does over time.
Set to “auto” so only comes on in the dark, sensors you opening the door to go out or when about 2m away, lights the area so can see who’s there or to unlock door. Light goes out after about 30 seconds so batteries should last ages.

Really easy to install. I attached it to a wooden post overlooking our parking space. After a few adjustments the PIR worked exactly how we wanted it. After parking the car and walking round to the rear before climbing the steps to the house the light comes on illumunating the steps very effectively. It would have got fve stars had the casing clips been more robust and potentially a moulded postion for a locking grub screw. The light is very good, the arc of the PIR and range is very good, and being a ball it is very easy to adjust to get exactly the coverage you want. The amount of time it stays on is perfectly sufficient for the job we want it to do.
Ordered this light as we just needed a sensor light to pickup when we turned into out porch.
This works an absoulte treat!. It only comes on when its DARK so don’t try to get it working in the daylight.
The light is bright and clear and the useful pivot of the sphere is brilliant can really get it angled to where you need the light. The sphere also detaches so you use as a torch if required.
I’ve attached using the prodvided screens to a wooden fence but there is a sticky pad ifxing if you want to add to a door frame without drilling.
Would whole heartedly recommend this product.

Having received 2 of these little gems I placed them at the bottom of the garden so we could see the dogs when dark, they work great. I have to admit they are a bit fiddly to mount but a little patience and once mounted you should be pleased with the results. Remember these are not flood lights but the brightness is good and they don’t stay on for long once the motion detection doesn’t see any movement which is good for battery life. I am purchasing another two for the passage down the side of the house, well at this price it would be daft not to.
I needed a light for my rear yard – this is perfect, just three screws, lights up my yard, I no longer worry about tripping or falling down steps, the light could be slightly tighter in the socket, but it delivers…
Build quality was a bit light and ‘plastic’ but once it’s installed and you’re not going to knock it in passing, then it’s fine. PIR works well and doesn’t come on during the day or turn off when I’m in the locality, which is the primary importance. Will probably buy more…
I would be 100% satisfied if the motion detector would feel my motion aswell not only my boyfriends. Maybe it doesn’t like me . Originally it should feel from the cealing 2m far. Our cealing is around 3m from the floor. My boyfriend is 1.85cm and I am 1.70cm. I don’t think I am too short. It is definitly the motion detector. Sometimes I even have to knock it with a little rod so it will turn on. 🙁
I was pleased with the light overall and i can understand people liking the way it can be used as a
hand light to use when a dark porch to locate the key ect’. However i bought this to put off unwanted people coming up to the door and looking in the car late at night as we live in a road that acts as a way through to an estate
so it would be nice for Proxinova to bring out a similar model where the light could have the option of some sort of locking nut to stop undesirables pulling out the light.
I taped my light around to stop that happening or at least to make it awkward.
The PIR is sensitive and picks up movement well. As with all PIRs it works best when not directly pointed toward the area of movement, so best to have it pointing toward what you want illuminated while ensuring that it can still ‘see’ at an angle for movement. The LEDs only light when lighting level is dark/low so will not light in daylight or when there is another light source. The light will stay on for 25-30 seconds after last motion is detected, so it will stay on so long as there is some movement. With low energy LEDs and the 3 x AAA batteries should (hopefully) last several months, but this will obviously depend on number and lengths of activation and the battery type used.
The unit has a base which is in 2 parts and back-plate can be either screwed or fixed with double sticky backed pad(s) as appropriate to surface type and desire. Screws and wall-plugs are provided and the lamp holder part of the base rotates securely onto the back-plate hiding the fixings. The light itself snaps into the holder and held sufficiently tight to allow it to be rotated to suit and it remains in the position. The light can easily be removed and used as a hand light if desired, however in some situations you may want to place it high up to avoid it being taken. I’ve positioned the switch to the bottom which should reduce likelihood of water seeping in.
NOTE: This product is also available from Amazon seller in China, is identical and 10 cheaper. So if you can wait the 20 days for free delivery from China then buy elsewhere. I have both and they are 100% identical.
The only downside is the battery life, had to change them after about a month. Will see how long the next lot last? Apart from that, really easy to install (have placed in the porch, so kept away from wet weather). Used the screws rather than the self adhesive tape, this gives it greater rigidity. It is perfect for illuminating the door lock. Good value for money.
Bought two of these little lights for under front and rear porch. One worked fine. The other worked for two days then would,not switch off.. Must say though , Really need to be under protection. Even though there was a prob to start with. These guys are on the ball. As soon as they were notified of the prob, they reacted at the speed of light and sent me a replacement immediately at no cost and no hassle to myself. Extremely good service. Way to go.!!
We purchased this so we could place it on our outbuilding to light up the keyhole on an evening. It was super easy to fit and can be swivelled around very easily to light up the area you require. It’s not the brightest light in the world (ie, it wouldn’t light up your garden) but it was just right for how we wanted to use it.
