I bought these to replace an old technics amp and some Tannoy V1s for my turntable. I was concerned about moving from a passive speaker to an active. I was also concerned in having limited EQ controls. Well I didn’t need to worry as the sound immediately was amazing compared to old set up. The clarity and soundstage was immediately better and the bass is more than ample for my living room. I have the bass selector switched to the middle position and it’s perfect.

Was unsure purchasing these without hearing them first but I needn’t have worried, they sound amazing.
I wanted something to replace my old system and these fit the bill really well.
They have plenty of options for connections,I use the optical with my CD player/hardrive,the line in for my Echo and the Bluetooth for my turntable, all work seamlessly and to these old ears sound great.
My only one slight criticism is when adjusting the volume there is a delay.
Mine arrived in a dented box but thankfully the speakers are well packaged.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was looking for something to replace a Cambridge Audio amp and a pair of large floor standing speakers. These are a terrific alternative. The sound is very clear, even at low volumes. They’re easy to connect. And the take up much less space.

Wonderful for the price they blow much more expensive speakers off the wall.. great sound.. good bass.. easy to connect up.. look good..
if you want to ditch the amplifer this is a very good alternative.
Haven’t tried the blue tooth options as yet.. just listening afresh to my CDs!

These speakers work beautifully wireless; however, when I connected them to my desktop via the aux or USB B, the volume was not as grand as when connected via Bluetooth. Why is this?

    Thank you

Was unsure I could live with their appearance a few feet away from me for however many years I have left but the walnut ones I eventually purchased look fantastic from the front & all other directions!
But just as important their performance is amazing, adding improved sonic clarity & accuracy to TV, turntable & Blutooth compared with my previous Tibo 3.1’s.
Add to that the ease of set up & great connectivity & what could be better?
    Oh, & I love them aged 67 & my 19 y.o. twins do too!

Bought these besides a pair of Klipsch The Fives speakers (899) for comparison as I had settled on either of those two speakers for my PC setup (music, Netflix and gaming) after reading loads of reviews. I fully expected to like the Klipsch more but in the end I kept the M20.

The Klipsch simply have too much bass, even if cut down. The M20 seem to sound right just out of the box. Whenever I switched between the two, I was amazed by the wide soundstage and the clarity that the M20 provide. In direct comparison after switching I sometimes thought they have a slight harshness to them but that feeling went away after listening for a minute. They very much benefit from connecting a subwoofer though. I’m running a Q Acoustics 3070S and I’m very happy with the overall sound. Rounded off with great connectivity and a sleek design, you can do nothing wrong with these speakers for the price.

My only gripe is the volume control. The Fives have an amazingly responsive wheel for volume control which makes it super easy to set them exactly where you want them in an instant. The M20 have buttons and sometimes I feel I need to press them a lot when switching between music and Zoom calls. Some volume steps also seem to be uneven jumps. But I can forgive this slightly annoying detail in the face of the value these speakers have to offer.

As tiles brilliant bit of kit sound amazing with Music, movies and games. Remote not the best and led and buttons in the wrong place. Sound stage is perfect and kind better than any sound bar with movies.

These are a bargain, powered Q Acoustics speakers, with built in dac, always impressed by Q Acoustics speakers, they always produce good sound and these are no exception, and have subwoofer output if you need more bass

Ottimi diffusori attivi! Bluetooth si connette immediatamente. Connessioni analogiche e digitale ottica.

After years trying different desk based systems with my Mac, this has turned out to be the best ever. It might be big, it might be expensive, but it sounds fabulous. I am overjoyed at the way it presents both music and movies. This is it. Now I just have to save up so I can buy another set for the tv downstairs.

Recommended to me by a trusted HiFi expert. Read reviews from experts on What HiFi, Tech Radar etc and these kept coming out top for my requirements. They’re quite large for desk top speakers so if you want them for a small desk they’ll maybe too big. They are reassuringly heavy. I use them mostly wired to a turntable and sound is great. Clear neutral sound with enough bass for me. Has a connection for a sub if you feel the need for your windows to rattle. Sound easily fills a normal size sitting room without being turned up full pelt. BT pairing is straightforward and quick. Has a blue light for BT pairing on top of speaker which is logical. You can also use remote to pair etc which works beautifully and again feels weighty and good quality. I’m very happy with them. I bought from local store instead of Amazon as they had 50 off on Black Friday. Price went back up quickly everywhere after a couple of days so feel I got a bargain.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI already own some Audio Engine A5s and Kanto YU6 this is my third set of active speakers they are on my desk as part of my office setup. Build is excellent, from a purely aesthetic point of view I prefer the Boxy design of the Audio Engine and Kanto’s but that just a preference. Bluetooth pairing is simple, reliable and can connect to them each time without needing to repair or the PC having trouble finding them. However sound levels when played through BT are very low, I have now switched to connecting to them Via USB A and the sound is far louder, Changed the audio setting in Windows to 24Bit 192KHZ just running them in now and hopefully they will be 5*. Will upgrade power cord, Speakers cables and USB A Cable in time to get the best possible sound. USB A cable is not included in the box but I had generic one which I used.
