Bought these for some small scale studio lighting. Very good brightness levels to light objects in question. Will possibly look at buying different wattage bulbs to get a differing bias of lighting to add extra depth to my photos.
I ordered these lights for a home studio, doing online video tutorials. They are absolutely fantastic- Lightweight, very easy to assemble, well made and very professional. That set really helped me to capture better images indoors. As I need to take pictures for my business indoors and since the place I use lacks natural light, I really needed this kind of set in order to try to give the right brightness for my photos. Simple to assemble and use.

Bought this a few weeks ago, only just opened. I’m a complete amateur but I found these easy to set up and pack away. They arrived very well packed for protection and I’ve packed it all back in the included cases etc. After a full day taking photos I’m really impressed. I thought I would have to pay much more for this level of quality!

Both of my children are doing photography at college . They can’t always get the studio time time that they want when they want it. This has solved the problem . The light quality is really good and lights are relatively simple to put up .
Very good product. Although I had an issue with a faulty unit, the customer services department were very helpful in getting me a replacement out and in good time with great communication and assurance.
I use this for my YouTube channel which I film on My Samsung S20 ultra if you want a real view of what it’s like you can find me on YouTube (uncle Lou’s Kitchen) (the vegan food one) you will see this is in a kitchen with no windows nearby and fairly dark with yellow lighting which sucks. I’ve been using this for over a year, the lights have lasted and it’s really a great product, super impressed
Great price for this awesome product! Super easy to assemble and break down again, also packing away in the bags, provided is easy. The bulbs are a perfect brightness and easy to handle! Fits nicely into the carry bag and is light weight to carry, very compact! I bought the preloved for 12 so a really good bargain, in fact one of my best buys.

I needed a lighting system quickly for a photo shoot and this item ticked the boxes. For the money you really can’t go wrong. Well made and very easy to assemble. I was careful screwing in the bulbs as I’d heard they were not very strong, and again had no issues. Being permanently on – they do have on/off switch of course (unlike flash units) you can easily position them for best effect. I used for some family portrait work and they worked great. Reviews have said the cables are too short, but using one on an extension the other plugged directly in didn’t present me with any problems. All in all I’d thoroughly recommend them
Can’t believe I didn’t get these before. Use them to set up lighting for still lifes. So cheap for something so useful.
The package was very secure and arrived on time. After using the kit for a few days, I’d say it’s value for money compared to the prices for similar products.
It’s very easy to assemble and you just need to play around with the distance, settings etc to get the right shot. You might need extension cables if you want to go further away.
Overall, happy with the product and with the company. I’ve purchased other items such as dashcams, selfie sticks etc. and have always received good service.

This is an excellent product for the price. Huge bulbs provide bright light. Easy to assemble and fold down surprisingly small.
I am a PT and use these to brighten my online work outs. Really easy to assemble, I did them on my own which demonstrates that as I am inept. They are slightly flimsy but for the price that is what you get – I don’t regret buying them.

The stands are not terribly heavy duty but perfectly adequate and the whole thing packs away very neatly.
As a budget kit for product photography do a pretty good job. They aren’t terribly bright but work fine as fill lights. The attached picture was taken at f1.8 with a 50mm prime lens on a 3/4 DSLR and is uncropped with the lights just out of frame on the left and right front quarters with fairly overcast natural light.
Very impressive light system for the price. It’s very easy to install, deliver a lot of light and comes with his own bag for easy transportation. So you can use it in your own home or take it with to another location very easily. Definitely recommend.
It is actually great. The lamp bulbs are included too. It is sturdy and the light is the right brightness. The cable is long enough too.

I love these lights. Very easy to assemble and they make my videos look so much better. I was worried that the quality would be poor but the price is very good. I wanted to return these but on receiving and trying, no way! They are great.
This is quite a good product but the stands are a little precarious. The weight of the lights can easily topple the stands over.
Both my self and my sister have this exact set up, her for acting remote auditions and for me as a clothing brand photographing items and models, plus our videos and podcasts. Super easy to use, and package away. Protective packaging is great and compact. Very impressed.
I bought these for my self-tapes. They were on offer at the time and one of the best value for money lights available. It does feel a bit unsturdy but it hasn’t failed me yet! One thing I will say is that the cord is very short so your set up would need to be near a socket otherwise it would require an extension lead. However, if you will only use these occasionally for tapes then these are perfect, no fuss, easy to assemble.
I can’t believe how good it turned out to be for the price! I use it to teach yoga via zoom and it makes a massive difference in the quality of the videos, especially now that the days are getting shorter (I’m writing this at the end of summer).
This is so easy to set up. The quality of light is excellent with a bright daylight source. It’s all very compact fitting into a small bag. Great lighting kit for the money. Highly recommend.

I got these lights for a bit of green screen work, and generally they do the job well. the light is warm and even, and makes my green screen work easy. The tripods are a bit flimsy, as can be expected in this price range, so if you extend them to their full height, the weight of the light box nearly unbalances them, and any small touch will knock them over. I had a faulty light bulb in my set, but the response was excellent and they immediately send me a replacement bulb, so now everything is working properly.
I absolutely love these lights! I have tried a ring light and an LED light, these are the SOO much better than both. They give of so much light and it’s also a warm tone so it doesn’t wash your colour out like previous lights I’ve used, I would literally compare this to sunlight! Would 100% recommend

For the price, I think this set of lights ‘does exactly what it says on the tin.’ They have been great for my small YouTube video set up and I’m now using them for product imagery.
The customer service has been excellent to boot! I broke one of the bulbs not long after purchase and they offered to replace it free of charge.
I’m not sure whether the star rating for warmth is meant to be for the colour of the lights (it came with daylight bulbs, the light is diffused so not harsh, but it doesn’t have any different modes for a more yellow shade unless you change the bulb!), or for whether they make the room hotter. They do make the room temperature warmer, but not too much.
If I have a quibble, it’s that when you decide to re-orient the lights (i.e. whether you want them to be in portrait or landscape orientation), it’s not entirely clear whether you’re screwing it on correctly. But whatever I’ve done seems to hold!
They came well-packaged, with thin reusable cases for the equipment. They also came with a ‘Lucky Card’ for a free gift which you could choose. I chose an octopus-style phone tripod, which has now arrived and it’s going to be very useful. So I’m a very happy customer!

Not sure what I was expecting, but the quality and ease of use has left me very impressed. Lightweight and very easy to setup, I am very pleased with the product and the service provided.
The product is made with good quality materials and it works really well!! Completely worth the money. The packaging was good, with everything isolated and the light bulbs in individual boxes with some styrofoam cover. It comes with a bag that helps a lot when organising everything.
Out of the box it was very easy to put together and the product was quite intuitive. The size of the light itself is pretty large and with the cover put over it produces very nice soft shadows. Exactly what i was looking for and for the price of this I’d say it hits all the marks. Hghly reccomend
The product arrived on time, is pretty much easy to set-up and provides decent bright light. I have used it couple of times for my Youtube videos now, and have been satisfied every time. When both the lights are used together, it can also be used in nights/extremely low light conditions. Highly satisfied and would recommend it to anyone looking for lighting solution in a budget!

I use this for my youtube videos and couldn’t ask for a better softbox kit at this price. It’s really easy to assemble and diffusers create nice a pleasing soft light. Also the warmth of the light is ideal for balanced skin tones.
I use the lights for my YouTube videos. I like how lightweight they are and even though they’re often close to me, my eyes don’t hurt and I don’t get too hot. I’ve used them for all of my videos since purchasing and I often have them on for over an hour without issue at all. Would recommend and buy again.
I am happy with these lights. Its what I was looking for. Easy to set up. Well packaged. The stand can have the feet placed wide or narrow which I was grateful for as I needed to place them in a narrow space. I keep the light bulbs in the casing when travelling. These are my first lights and I love that they come with a back I can sling over my shoulder! Great for me as a beginner. They are not dimmable but it is adjustable so once set up you can angle it any way.

Nonetheless the kit is extremely easy to put together with the soft boxes having an umbrella style method which works surprisingly well. But the bulb holder doesn’t quite fit on the light stands correctly as it’s a tad too small. Might try and widen it slightly to sit better.
Furthermore cables aren’t long so will most likely need an extension lead.
Really easy to assemble, the light is good enough for filming small tutorials, in my case I can make my nail tutorials look more professional.

I bought these box lights so I can take pictures of my art work. Very happy with the product. Excellent lighting and everything can be put away easily. The stands are better quality than I expected from the previous comments. They seem much like music stands although a bit sturdier.

It is very nice kit, it is not very sturdy, but it is very good value for money. Everything worked and was promptly delivered. If you need something for your home, this is one of the best for the money.
Getting loads of use out of these – quick foolproof lighting for online meetings, webinars, etc. I’ve added a simple table lamp with a cream shade to get a bit of extra warmth – I need to get some proper filters at some point but actually the table lamp does a really good job.

Im no professional but I think this is great quality. Very lightweight and compact so easy to transport. Unfortunately one of the bulbs had broken in transit, and amazon suggested a full return of the whole thing but the seller responded very quickly and kindly is sending me a new bulb directly.
I purchased these for our green screen set up (large collapsable Lastolite) and it works very well. Great value money and extremely lightweight with a carry case. I’m not sure these would stand up to heavy multiple location usage but for the purposes of a permanent set-up they are ideal.

I ordered this kit to provide fill-in lighting in church when filming our Rector taking services during lockdown. The kit was well packed; everything worked perfectly straight out of the box and was easy to assemble. I placed the units quite close in – the large bulbs produce a good, soft, even light, and as the bulbs are compact fluorescents there are no issues with excess heat. At full height the switched mains cables reach just to the floor of the stands so you will need a couple of extension leads to link them together. In my opinion this kit represents outstanding value for money and for my purposes I am very pleased with it.
I like this product, it’s really easy to put together you only need to be careful of the stands, one was fine but the other, the legs don’t come out far enough to make the light stable so it will be top heavily I had to really mess with it to get the light to not fall over.
I love this product does exactly what I want for my videos. Can’t really comment on the durability of the light bulb just yet but it’s a great buy.

For the price, this is a great bit of kit, perfect if you are starting out in clogging. The 2 lights are packaged well and pack into a really neat bag. They produce a good quality natural looking light too so no horrible casts in your videos. the stands are lightweight but perfectly good enough for the task. After a week or so using them I’m happy to recommend them to anyone who’s looking for lights of this type.
