Very long lasting
I use this for my YouTube channel which I film on My Samsung S20 ultra if you want a real view of what it’s like you can find me on YouTube (uncle Lou’s Kitchen) (the vegan food one) you will see this is in a kitchen with no windows nearby and fairly dark with yellow lighting which sucks. I’ve been using this for over a year, the lights have lasted and it’s really a great product, super impressed

Great price for this awesome product! Super easy to assemble and break down again, also packing away in the bags, provided is easy. The bulbs are a perfect brightness and easy to handle! Fits nicely into the carry bag and is light weight to carry, very compact! I bought the preloved for 12 so a really good bargain, in fact one of my best buys.

Works for me
I needed a lighting system quickly for a photo shoot and this item ticked the boxes. For the money you really can’t go wrong. Well made and very easy to assemble. I was careful screwing in the bulbs as I’d heard they were not very strong, and again had no issues. Being permanently on – they do have on/off switch of course (unlike flash units) you can easily position them for best effect. I used for some family portrait work and they worked great. Reviews have said the cables are too short, but using one on an extension the other plugged directly in didn’t present me with any problems. All in all I’d thoroughly recommend them

The package was very secure and arrived on time. After using the kit for a few days, I’d say it’s value for money compared to the prices for similar products.
It’s very easy to assemble and you just need to play around with the distance, settings etc to get the right shot. You might need extension cables if you want to go further away.
Overall, happy with the product and with the company. I’ve purchased other items such as dashcams, selfie sticks etc. and have always received good service.
I have recently bought these lights for improvised photo session and I am stunned. The package has arrived very quickly and neatly. The assembly was very easy and all the parts were very well protected in their own branded bag. There is white covers for the lights also included which I used to soften the bright light from the bulbs.
Probably the only down side I can see is the length of the cable, but this was easy fixed with extension cord.
In overall I am very pleased with the product and the quality and I can recommend it if you are looking to improve your photos or even if you are online streeming.

Over the past few months I’ve been doing videos for school and taking photo but the light was never right. Having enjoyed this new Hobby, was looking at lights and seen these soft box lights. Came well packaged in own carry bag for storage and transportation. Two light stands, hoods and shades. Definitely just plug and play so easy to set up. Great sturdy material. Can adjust high and angle to suit needs. Bright light with on off switch, good coverage. Great value for money.

As a budget kit for product photography do a pretty good job. They aren’t terribly bright but work fine as fill lights. The attached picture was taken at f1.8 with a 50mm prime lens on a 3/4 DSLR and is uncropped with the lights just out of frame on the left and right front quarters with fairly overcast natural light.

It is actually great. The lamp bulbs are included too. It is sturdy and the light is the right brightness. The cable is long enough too.
Lightweight, but i will be careful when handing them. If you take care of your stuff buy them. They work and are easy to assembled but not heavy duty at all. Well priced, ok value for money. Don’t screw the bulb in tighter than needed. Store in original packaging. The packaging is good. Not suitable for too much travel but absolutely fit for purpose. Easily adjustable. More than happy with the light quality and they are lightweight and compact enough in storage bag. Easily stored.

This is quite a good product but the stands are a little precarious. The weight of the lights can easily topple the stands over.

One thing I will say is that the cord is very short so your set up would need to be near a socket otherwise it would require an extension lead. However, if you will only use these occasionally for tapes then these are perfect, no fuss, easy to assemble.

I can’t believe how good it turned out to be for the price! I use it to teach yoga via zoom and it makes a massive difference in the quality of the videos, especially now that the days are getting shorter (I’m writing this at the end of summer).

They are very great with customer service I had some problems and they where quickly sorted out back to podcasting
Brighter than I thought, I did see a review complaining about the bulbs being dim or failing. I ordered two and both are very bright, and work fine. Created excellent clam-shell light for some recent portrait work. Easy to assemble, light to carry but do invest in an extension lead or two as the cables are a little short (they actually don’t reach the floor when the lights are extended to full height). Very happy with mine. If the cable was longer I would add an extra star.
Works well
I got these lights for a bit of green screen work, and generally they do the job well. the light is warm and even, and makes my green screen work easy. The tripods are a bit flimsy, as can be expected in this price range, so if you extend them to their full height, the weight of the light box nearly unbalances them, and any small touch will knock them over. I had a faulty light bulb in my set, but the response was excellent and they immediately send me a replacement bulb, so now everything is working properly.
The best lights I’ve used
I absolutely love these lights! I have tried a ring light and an LED light, these are the SOO much better than both. They give of so much light and it’s also a warm tone so it doesn’t wash your colour out like previous lights I’ve used, I would literally compare this to sunlight! Would 100% recommend

Bought these to light up myself while doing live Zoom performances. They are great for the job. Very, very easy to assemble (I am not very practical and it was almost impossible to get it wrong). The lights are big and bright, and although they are light-weight they show no signs of falling over.
I’m not sure whether the star rating for warmth is meant to be for the colour of the lights (it came with daylight bulbs, the light is diffused so not harsh, but it doesn’t have any different modes for a more yellow shade unless you change the bulb!), or for whether they make the room hotter. They do make the room temperature warmer, but not too much.
If I have a quibble, it’s that when you decide to re-orient the lights (i.e. whether you want them to be in portrait or landscape orientation), it’s not entirely clear whether you’re screwing it on correctly. But whatever I’ve done seems to hold!
They came well-packaged, with thin reusable cases for the equipment. They also came with a ‘Lucky Card’ for a free gift which you could choose. I chose an octopus-style phone tripod, which has now arrived and it’s going to be very useful. So I’m a very happy customer!
Ordered this product for my wife’s business to assist with home videoing for online tutorials etc. Great price for the product. Came nicely packaged and with it’s own carry bag so you can keep everything together and safe when not in use. Just need to be careful when installing the bulbs not to over tighten them. Lamps come with opaque covers and the hoods fold down into neat storage bags. Tripods are light and sturdy but you may want to weigh them down just in case they might get knocked over. Great light from them and we’re really pleased. Would definitely recommend them.

Without a doubt the lighting kit is great value for money. But it’s not as bright as you may imagine. Moreover with both lights on with the soft boxes they need to be placed half a meter away minimum. Even then don’t be expecting ISO 100. More ISO 200 with aperture 5.6 and shutter speed of 60s. Even then depending on shoot may be a little under exposed.
Nonetheless the kit is extremely easy to put together with the soft boxes having an umbrella style method which works surprisingly well. But the bulb holder doesn’t quite fit on the light stands correctly as it’s a tad too small. Might try and widen it slightly to sit better.
Furthermore cables aren’t long so will most likely need an extension lead.

Very easy to assemble - need a bit more warmth
Getting loads of use out of these – quick foolproof lighting for online meetings, webinars, etc. I’ve added a simple table lamp with a cream shade to get a bit of extra warmth – I need to get some proper filters at some point but actually the table lamp does a really good job.

I purchased these for our green screen set up (large collapsable Lastolite) and it works very well. Great value money and extremely lightweight with a carry case. I’m not sure these would stand up to heavy multiple location usage but for the purposes of a permanent set-up they are ideal.

Remarkable value
I ordered this kit to provide fill-in lighting in church when filming our Rector taking services during lockdown. The kit was well packed; everything worked perfectly straight out of the box and was easy to assemble. I placed the units quite close in – the large bulbs produce a good, soft, even light, and as the bulbs are compact fluorescents there are no issues with excess heat. At full height the switched mains cables reach just to the floor of the stands so you will need a couple of extension leads to link them together. In my opinion this kit represents outstanding value for money and for my purposes I am very pleased with it.
