Great job
This is a great camera. It allows to pan, tilt and zoom. It can be connected to your reolink NVR if you have one or simply insert a memory card for recording.
It was a bit fiddly to access at first, maybe that was just me jumping straight in without looking at the instructions but I now have it setup and working the way I want.
Reolink cameras are excellent, much better than alot of the cheaper imitation cameras with poor software.
Night vision is great, notion detection works well. Image could be a better better but this serves it’s purpose.
Definitely recommend this!
Ready to set up
Easy to set up with WFi does what it says in HD.
I did buy a camera that was 2.4 what ever that is but didn’t work with Ethernet cable, the Reolink is dual band, what ever that is but works!
Excellent camera.
I bought this to keep an eye on my elderly mam. It was very easy to set up using 5g along with the app. Great picture quality and you can zoom in by pinching the picture. The sound is good in that I can hear her tv but I’ve not tried talking to her as I think I’d confuse her (she has dementia). I’m that happy with the camera I’ve ordered another one.

Fab quality product and app
Got two of these to keep an eye on my aging and vulnerable parents. I was pleasantly surprised at the good quality of the devices and how easy they were to set up. Took me a couple of minutes to get app installed and live video streaming to my phone. The iPhone app is really good with loads of parameters you can change, and still be easy to use. For example you can set sensitivity of movement detection, paint detection zones, identify views so you can easily switch between them (yes, the camera moves sideways and up and down). You can listen in to each camera, and speak – the volume is good enough.
Excellent value for money. Might get a couple more, as easy to add devices, as I’d see them all on screen at once.
Good camera, (almost)
This camera is ok, does everything it says it does, my only issue is that you cant easily switch it on and off. I contacted Reolink and they suggested to use Scene mode, which I couldnt find and also didnt quite understand how this would help. My previous camera had an on and off setting in the app, and ive seen one that has a privacy mode you can use when you are home and dont want the camera to film or to detect movement. I couldn’t do that with this camera, it was picking us up moving around and sending alerts to my phone, which is what it should do when you are out but its annoying when you are home. I have returned it for a refund.

Superb and Idiot Proof
Excellent picture quality and easy to set up even for an old duffer like me. The fact that it is a dual band camera saved me from having to play around with my wifi hub. I think new outdoor cameras are now on the cards so many thanks Reolink. Only down side is the high pitched screeching alarm sound – it is annoying – I wonder if it can be linked to something more substantial or just turned off.
I got two of these to keep an eye on the dogs which may have been overkill but they work well to say the least.
I connected them seamlessly to the Reolink app and had them both linked up in no time.
I installed a microSD card in each to store footage but otherwise they would work just as well, albeit as a live feed.
Playback is available to watch back clips and this is easy to navigate.
The cameras are moveable even remotely so you can alter the view if necessary and they have audio recording which in my experience picks up sound very very well.
I also have a Reolink DVR which i purchased on the back of these and it is easy to connect them wirelessly to the DVR which can also store recordings.
Overall, highly recommended.

If you are wanting a good internal camera then look no further.
The picture is brilliant and records in high quality, easily downloadable to a lower quality. Pictures and videos.
Records on however you set it, motion, timer, constant, even motion and timer.
You can use the free app for everything.
Just be aware that signal isn’t amazing when away from your house and their is lag when viewing on highest quality. Just view it live on low quality and download on high if you need some footage.
The only draw backs to me is the power cable which could be hidden on lower surfaces but I have it high up so then I have to hide the cable some how. (Paint it, disguise it, install a wall hide)
Also, you spot it easily in the dark with its (not too bright but obvious) infrared lights.
These cameras occasioaly go on sale. 🙂

Reliable and easy to set up
Having had a bad experience with another manufacturer, I pleased to say that this is super easy to set up and connnect to wifi. No issues with connection and the app loads quickly and well.
For the money the picture quality is very good and stable. Motion detection and recording works well. Handy feature is being able to turn off the red LEDS if you want to record through glass at night (Also can’t be detected from outside)
The desktop app works well too and adds extra functionality if you really need to fine tune stuff. All in all , I highly recommend this 4mp device
Very effective
We have this set up in our bedroom. Siren mode stops the kids going in our room. The other stuff that it captures in the bedroom is…. well down to your imagination really.
We use this mostly to monitor our dogs whilst we are out shopping, just in case. The software is easy to setup and you can zoom in/out as well as pan/tilt. Software works on mobile phones and also on a PC. You can also have preset positions of your own choosing, so you click on the preset and the camera automatically goes to that location – a bit like the memory setting on modern car seats. You are also able to hear what’s going on in the room, as well as talk to people, and the quality of the speaker and microphone is more than adequate. Dogs could clearly tell it was “me” talking to them by their reactions, although they were a bit confused at first by the fact they could see me. They got used to it.
Quality of picture at night is excellent, and if you go into hi-res mode you can really see the detail when you zoom in. There is more than enough detail that if someone was to enter a room in darkness, you’d clearly make out their features.
Setting up using a wired ethernet connection was really easy. However, I could not get it to work over wifi, despite numerous attempts and researching different approaches via the internet. I would get so far through the process and then it would start over. That could be a deal breaker for many, as not everyone is able to hard wire gadgets into their home networks. I think a few other people have experience similar problems.
Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing if someone is watching you via the camera – I would have liked to have had that facility for peace of mind.
This combined with the wifi setup difficulty means it loses a star.

I’ve not used the motion detector yet so cannot comment on that.
For a simple, quick to set-up camera I think this is great value for money. I didn’t want a camera that integrated with Alexa or other such systems as I don’t trust them yet. We only switch it on when going out, and it automatically registers and sets itself up on the home network every time without a fault.
