Sturdy gate that fits well into the space (which is wider than a standard door). Easy to retract and will do the job of keeping young children contained within one room.

We needed a way to keep our bi folds open but not have our 1 year old escape to the garden. The gap was 178cm and this fit across perfectly. We can now go through summer without being too hot in our living room

Great and easy to install. Even has extenders to work with skirting boards. There is a video however the paper instructions were straight forward enough to use.
This is to keep the 15 month old inside but in hot weather I can have the doors open for some air snd it’s great. She can still see outside and the gate is strong enough so if she pushes it she doesn’t fall. Fits my large patio doors too.

Easy to install with a total of 8 screws and wall plugs provided. Very sturdy given the large size. Suitable to keep a dog out of an area as desired. Good locking mechanism which limits the amount the top of the gate drops down and amount bottom comes up, so prevents a puppy coming underneath it.
Needed a gate to cover the length of 170cm and something that’s in budget, this was on offer compared to others at 50/+, this was still alittle high priced but considering the offer and after using well worth it! As it stops my 1 year old from climbing up the stairs also a satisfying safe guard to avoid any accidents from up or down the stairs. And the fact it’s a retractable gate saves space and awkward gate openings and covers both stair openings in one go!
Was very easy to install, was afraid that as this is a mesh gate that my toddler might be able to go under it but I was wrong! Once in place and locked there’s no way of getting through!

Been working great for months, there seems to be a weak point if you do move it between locations though, the clip that holds it against the mount has snapped on ours. Ordered another right away just a shame Amazon logistics can’t seem to find my house very often. Would be great if I could just get another clip.

Excellent gate to stop the dogs bothering me when i am cooking! Very easy to install with the templates provided for drilling. It is sturdy and I highly recommend the product.
Great product, easy enough to fit, pleased it came with packers that allow for fitting the base against skirting (as photos). Would be nice to be able to reverse the hand, as we have fitted the roller on the right side of the opening, but still works as expected. Much better than a fixed type gate for our use as we only need occasionally.

The baby gate is easy to set up and has been brilliant. We have it set so it can block off the kitchen and dining room or just the kitchen. To keep the baby away from the hot oven or the patio door.
I wanted a retractable gate for our kitchen and this works perfectly. The extra brackets come in handy as it means we have another area to use it and it is very easy to take off and move without having to mess with the brackets. It has stood firm to many shakings from the little one and the cat has figured out to jump over it to get to her food.
This is a well engineered piece of equipment that works very well, and is supplied with two sets of fixings.

Perfect gate that tucks away. I needed one that I could use when necessary. Didn’t want a permanent gate that was always in the way. As you can see this hides against the wall and is perfect for keeping my dogs safely tucked away when we have unexpected guests or need to leave doors open.
Bought for a barrier in a childcare center, great for stopping children from wandering and easy to pull out and roll back nice and easy
Easy enough to install (according to my father in law). We’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it’s been ideal for us as a traditional bar dog gate wouldn’t have stopped our smaller dog pushing through to come up the stairs. This is brilliant as it’s a solid barrier and the retracting function is so much easier to use than the handle versions you get.

I purchased the retractable baby gate to fit across a large gap in my kitchen (180cm). The gate was extra wide and fitted the space perfectly. The gate is to stop a large breed dog entering the kitchen! The gate was easy to assemble and fix. There are plenty of videos to help with fitting. A good product!
I have a different make of retractable gate but this one is far superior. Just being able to operate it truly one handed has made my day so much easier. It’s supplied with two fixing set’s so I can use it on two doorways, saving me alot of space and money on two separate gates. Will definitely be replacing my other gates with this model.
Really easy to install, just follow the instructions and use the templates provided for the drill holes. Keeps my 11 week old cocker spaniel in the kitchen in an open plan house. Plastic is a little stretchy as it’s 182cm across could do with a bar at the bottom but then wouldn’t roll away to keep it straight, but does the job
Very happy with this gate. We needed a higher gate with a wider coverage due to our hall and stairs being wider. This gate was easy enough to install once you figure out how. Not really requiring any assembly. It looks very nice as well! Also love that once opened and locked away it’s hardly even noticed, well out of the way. Would highly recommend.

We liked this product and found it looks nice, discreet and fits in with the furniture, the only problem is the dog can fit underneath as it is made of a slightly bendy material. Fortunately we didn’t get it for the dog but for the baby to put at the top of a few steps in the garden. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this to put at the top of the stairs in the house as I couldn’t trust it would hold
Got this for the bottom of the stairs, sturdy and easy to open and close with one hand carrying a toddler. I had one that the retractable mechanism broke on randomly but I contacted the seller and they refunded immediately, very happy with service, I bought another one to replace it.

I ordered this because I saw that my parents had one. Absolutely loved the idea of a retractable one, hadn’t heard of it before. There when you need it and not when you don’t.

We opted for this product as the original metal swing safety gates we had did not suit the banisters in our new house. The push-fit detail on our original ones caused the banister posts to be pushed apart gradually making the gate loose. Instead I found this retractable product and it was perfect. East to install and easy to use. It is a lot more flexible in where it can be installed in comparison to the more traditional metal swing gates. The product also gives me a better sense of security/safety in comparison to the swing gates.
This is an ideal product now that I have it attached properly. The skirting board adaptor used with the normal wall catch would not be compatable (one at the top and one at the bottom). I had to modify the adaptor to get it to work.
Very impressed how sturdy it is over a larger gap than a average door..
A nice product that will do the job nicely. It is excellently packaged and although the instructions are in broken English, installation was straightforward enough. My only gripe was that the handy drilling guides positioning meant that the bottoms fixings straddled our skirting boards.
All in all, a great product and good value.

We purchased this gate to assist in stop our dog getting to the front door when it is opened. It does this and has stopped our dog from scaring delivery persons from the house!!!!
Great product. We used this to stop our pup getting up at the window. With the great British summer we were having we needed to open the windows, but without putting something up we were struggling. This is a great compromise and works for us.

I love that we got this form of gate. We use it to keep the dog from going upstairs and in a months time it will be used for our babies purpose too. It looks very nice on the stars and I don’t trip on it unlike normal baby gates
This is an amazing product. We had recently bought one from Argos for the same price which stated it would fit our wide double doors but it didn’t. We were at a lose end because of the sudden heat wave we had and twin baby boys who were getting fat to hot without the doors open and too young to be out in the garden in their own yet. I we turned to trusty old Amazon and found this gate. So much easier to fit and very good quality. First instillation the twins escaped straight underneath but that was my fault for installing it too high haha. So I used the included skirting board adaptors (these weren’t included as standard in the Argos one) and it fits like a dream and is hidden away out of view for when it’s not being used. Very happy with it and have much cooler children now.
We tried multiple gates to fit to our stair gates and most of them seems either they were too bulky or they required additional extensions to fit to the width. We came across this flexi gate with very good length and lot of additional accessories to meet all kind of walls. Personally this is very light and easy to install and ticks all the boxes. I would recommend to any one which is good alternative to metallic bulky gates.

Good product, very easy to install with lots of spare parts should they be needed. I really liked the variable width and it fitted my 6′ wide outside decking no problem.
This is a good quality product, lots of extra bits and attachments including spacers which work well for the skirting boards by our door way. Highly recommend and we regret not buying sooner.

After researching this gate along with taking customer reviews into account we decided on this gate. The instructions were easy to follow though we did adapt the hook side of the gate due to a stair bannister we have. All good and verry happy with the outcome as well as the extra mounting hardware.

I used this product at the bottom of a staircase to stop both the grandchildren and the dog from going up. Very effective at keeping both at bay.
Had the gate up for a week. We love the gate and it does keep our 2 labs in our conservatory without needing to shit the doors. Instructions were rubbish but we got there in the end.
It looks so much more smarter than I thought it would be. I like that the dogs can see us through it.
OK so 1 negative: the plastic clips are not strong enough hense why they provide you with spare parts as they will break. Our 9 year old wasn’t opening it properly so it snapped off so it was mostly our fault. Still believe it’s a good product if handled carefully and you don’t have small dogs 🙂
This gate is fantastic and easy to install. The instructions are very clear and there aren’t too many parts to worry about so it’s easy for anyone to install it. It even comes with a sheet of paper that’s got the fixings drawn to scale on them so you can simply stick the sheet of paper on the wall that you plan to screw the fixings into and draw exactly where you need to put the screws in.
The gate looks fantastic and is very easy to move between 2 different places. It also has a lock on it to stop it from extending so if a child or pet pushes against it, it won’t move. Great design and will get another one if I ever need it!
Really good gate. Easy to install. It took up 5 minutes. Has plenty of extra parts which is very helpful! Very sturdy and sonhar has managed to keep our German Shepard dog out of the frontroom and our little crawling baby in the frontroom. It’s easy to use we’ve taught our 5 year old how to use it so she can go in and out. Great product.
Bought this as a puppy deterrent. Install was made easy with the wall templates for the holes.
My only gripe is my own stair is an awkward shape, but the hook mounts to bring them out a bit more really helped.
I like the locking mechanism and the flexibility of being able to bring it upstairs.
Installation is straight forward and actually the packaging also provides a true measuring template to help – great touch.
Its generous with its sizes to mitigate the need for buying ‘extenders’ to fit different spaces.
Its not a solid blocker so wouldn’t advise placing it directly at top of the stairs (I believe they state this themselves), but for every where else, is doing the job perfectly and I have no worries about my 1 year old boy.
As mentioned, I recognise the space saving this provides compared to others I have had when my eldest was a baby/toddler.

Looks great as a separator between our kitchen and conservatory to keep the dog from wandering out into the conservatory and causing havoc in there! Very easy to use and feels sturdy. Would highly recommend.
Update: After about a week’s use the top and bottom seem to be at different lengths/strength now so it’s not stretched properly flat. Our puppy if he tries really hard can still get underneath. We are getting a replacement and hoping that it will be better.

Great for a large space and looks much nicer than a regular baby gate! Retracts straight back so not an eye sore and so easy to use! Watch out though because it took my 1 year old 1 day to work out how it opens…. luckily it’s too high for her to reach though, for now!

Love these baby gates, not that easy to install and you need someone with a drill and a bit of experience. Plus it’ll leave holes in the wall… but once up they are fantastic for keeping my naughty dogs in the part of the house they are meant to be and they look much smarter than regular baby gates.

Previously we were using an ugly metal pen as a barrier to keep our new puppy in the kitchen but this does the job better and looks a lot tidier – very pleased with our purchase! I found it a little tricky to fit due to my house being old and not square, however, I’m sure it would be much easier if your house wasn’t on top of a coal mine and the walls are straight. Otherwise, great product for keeping dogs out etc.
Absolutely love this gate! My dog doesn’t try to get past or underneath at all. I have it at the bottom of the stairs and it glides all the way across so I don’t have any bars to step over. You can easily open and close with one hand.

Excellent decision to get this, but the major bonus was receiving a spare set of brackets. Being able to unclip the gate in 2 seconds and remount it elsewhere is a plus. It works as intended and does the job great. Saves space instead of a standard gates is another plus.
