Just the job for our guest suite to keep milk overnight and any medications. Guests can make their own morning cuppa, and store any medicines without venturing downstairs..and carrying hot drinks up two flights of stairs! Perfect!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersI bought this product to keep a few snacks in over summer and was well aware that it wasn’t going to be very big. When the package arrived it was smaller than I thought but the inside of the mini fridge could fit quite a few things in it (a small drink, a tub of fruit and several chocolates on the shelf and in the door). It did frost a little overnight due to the temperature drop in my house but nothing much and could be removed in about 20 seconds. Perfect size for me, very lightweight and holds quite a lot of snacks.
EDIT 5 months later: the frost on the back of the fridge built up over time and reached a point where some of it would defrost occasionally on its on. Unfortunately this leaked out and created permanent water damage (stains and swelling) to the wooden unit where it was being kept. It still keeps items inside cool but could do with being a bit more leak proof on the bottom to stop water leaking out when room temperature fluctuations happen.
Buyers, I recommend placing this mini fridge on a waterproof surface just in case this problem were to happen to you.

I liked that it was small and easy to carry with a carry handle. I found it useful that I could plug it into my car and it came with a normal plug.

    As in my title,
Very good build quality & nice finish but not suitable for storing medications as it can sometimes freeze some liquids as there is no way to control the temperature but it is what it is store
    coke etc but nothing serious.

Very pleased with purchase. Was looking for a small fridge to store milk in my bedroom. In a room temperature, the temperature in the fridge is just the right level. The bottles are really cold. The size also makes the fridge energy efficient. The removable shelf is handy as I can put a taller bottle. Ideal solution if you need to store few small bottles as it does not take much space at all. It also looks nice.

Bought to store baby milk overnight. Quite small, could hold about 3 bottles (160ml) at a time once you remove the shelf. Cooling and warming functions work great and no issues so far (after a couple of weeks use every night). Lightweight and easy to use – plug in and flip the switch at the back to the desired function. Unobtrusive and pleasant design.

I really love this product. I think the idea is truly amazing. I used it as a fridge predominantly. Once I took out the little rack there was enough space to hold a small carton of milk with space left over. It got cold enough that after a while you could see little ice crystals forming. It also functioned well as a heater. It has a safety measure where it clicks off if it becomes too hot. Overall super easy to use and a handy thing to have.

This is a great little product…just what I needed whilst my kitchen is being refitted. The plug is a bit tricky to connect to the back of the fridge…connection not great and the connector to use the fridge in your car ( not that I need to ) fits to a cigarette lighter….do cars still have a cigarette lighter ?? Aoart from that a good temporary measure

These electronic mini fridges are promoted as make up fridges, so I was not confident it would be any good for milk. I originally bought a mini fridge of a different make, it was 15 more expensive and had all the gadgets, and claimed a greater cooling capacity. I didn’t work so returned it no problem.
This fridge works, you can see on the video the frost on the cooling plate. It is on a boat, we have a cool box but this little addition of a great, 12v and mains it is perfect for keeping milk fresh.
This branded mini fridge, doesn’t claim to be the best, but the honest claims are not exaggerated. Very happy!

It is ideal for travel as it can be used in the car via a cigarette socket {12v} & in the hotel room via a mains cable {240v} both of which are supplied. We kept fresh milk for drinks rather than use the hotel provided fake milk. Although the unit is small we had two 1 pint plastic bottles of milk inside, with plenty of room left for the obligatory pack of mini rollos. We tested at home before travelling & managed a temperature of about +2 deg C, once we moved it away from a nearby radiator’s influence, the milk stayed cold for the duration of our four day trip. The fridge has a slight hum during operation, but this did not keep us awake, quite the opposite we think.

    Fridge is great basically.
I just wanna address potential drawbacks incase someone is unsure. Regardless its a great fridge and it comes with a car adaptor which was an unexpected bonus! This will come in handy!
It makes a little noise but it’s really quiet, you’d only really notice it if everything else was dead silent. I keep mine in my room and it doesn’t interrupt my sleep or anything.
Only kind of downside is the ice that forms after a little while, maybe within a week. It’s not too much so just empty it and let the ice melt and its all good.
Make sure you do close the door properly tho, if it’s a bit open then the ice will melt a bit and water will go everywhere. Closing the door is obvious advice I know, and thankfully it makes a clear sound when the latch is closed.
I say this only because someone else was angry that water came out and damaged some stuff. It’s likely that the door wasn’t closed so the ice melted, or something leaked.

When the item arrived I was somewhat skeptical as it wasn’t as big as I had hoped.

I had to remove a x2 shelves to make space enough for some small items.

It does however work exactly like a normal fridge and suffice to say keeps things even colder.

Size wise its not great but as a cooler / mini fridge it definitely delivers.

The weight is light and it’s easy to carry.
    Build quality is great

Small but handy for emergencies, days out, etc. Can be powered from the mains or a 12v supply. Fan runs continually so you wouldn’t want to use it in a noisy room. You also need to be careful about positioning as it blows really quite hot air out of the rear.

I am generally very pleased with this little cooler. It does keep things very nice and cold and the humming sound it makes is quite gentle, so it doesn’t disturb sleep. The carry handle could be useful, although I bought this for my bedroom, so it probably won’t be needed. I love the little space built into the door, just big enough for a bar of chocolate, or maybe some medication. The cooler is very small, but will take three smallish bottles or cans and maybe a slim glass of water. I don’t think I will ever need the warming facility, so can’t comment on that. The device looks nice, white with a silver door catch, but to my disappointment it came with a black plug and cord, which doesn’t match either the device or my pale coloured room. Why provide a black cord with a white device?

How I have waited so long to have a mini-fridge as part of my gaming setup is beyond me! I love it, partner purchased it for my birthday and I could not be happier.

It is small and lightweight, on the bottom it fits 4 x 330ml cans, but you then can not use the door slot (The door slot is small and slim, I can not imagine much fitting in it anyway) it does has a tray above as well and would fit some snacks, I am yet to try the heater but I can not imagine me needing this function, as for the refrigeration, it is excellent, my cans were ic3 cold, seems set at the perfect temp.

I will add some pics later and update in a few weeks as I have had this for about 36hrs.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHaving kitted out my guest room as a tongue in cheek reminder of Premier Inns, I have accumulated various sachets of teas, coffees, sugar and hot chocolate along with a mini kettle and white mugs (I know, lol). Unfortunately, when it came to milk, I dont have enough family staying often enough before Sachets and Cartons of UHT milk went out of date, so I have invested in a mini fridge to live in the room when I have guests, but use in my car when I am out on site with my engineers, solely for the purpose of keeping milk cold. Perfect size, and with two cables for the different power sources, I can just unplug it from the bedroom and take it out to the car where I will leave my ciggy adaptor cable.

Fridge was cold enough after about 30m (may have been quicker, but I checked it after that length of time), so even if I dont remember to switch it on before people arrive (or night before an outing) it will be ready quickly enough for it not to be an issue.

Gets a thumbs up from me

Like the mini-fridge – it works very well, and is efficiently cooling small amounts of things, better than expected. Bit worried about possible running costs for longer term running – it doesn’t flick on and off, and has no temperature switch, so presumably doesn’t have a thermostat, and is effectively boiling a kettle permanently.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersWe wanted this as a safe way to transport insulin for trips away. We have just travelled to an hotel for three nights, and it worked well. We kept a thermometer in the fridge all the time and at all times it remained around 5-8 degrees. We ran it overnight before the trip, plugged into the 12v socket in the car and then kept it running in the room for the whole stay. Noise was minimal. You will need to buy stubby beers though and I decanted butter into a small container and I used sliced cheese. It worked well in the car too and the lead was long enough to plug it into the lighter socket and stand it on the floor in the back. The only criticism is the plug-in at the back is very loose so you need to make sure the light is on.

This Russell Hobbs Mini Fridge is a huge hit with my teenage daughter. As the name suggests, it’s not massive but it can hold a good few cans of drink, chocolate bars and other items.

I’m impressed that it can be used to both heat things up and cool things down (though obviously not at the same time), I did worry at first that it would be too easy to move to the wrong setting and find a puddle of chocolate inside the next time it was opened but it’s actually fairly easy to get it on the right setting first time.

Build quality is solid and despite all the warnings on the included paperwork, this doesn’t heat up too much outside and is pretty well sealed otherwise. It would also be very useful in a home office or to take to an office to use at a desk as well.

Well actually, one teensy thing we won’t find out for a while: the door handle is very flimsy and will, I think, need the use of a large rubber band courtesy of the postman to keep it shut, especially when it’s on the move.

This Russell Hobbs has been running for a month now and there have been no issues like the others – trouble free. A small but important extra point is that the internal shelf sits snuggly whereas the others flipped up when stuff was taken off them. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got the white mini fridge and I must say it looks really stylish! It is ideal for road trips to keep a few drinks cold and to take some food with you like ham and cheese. It’s definitely a luxury item at a price of 49.99, but it is pretty useful and works really well!

The inside of the fridge has an easily removable shelf and there is a mini holder in the door for storing extra items. It comes with two types of cables, a normal one and one with a car plug. After turning it on, it gets cold or hot relatively fast. The fan makes some noise but it’s honestly not that loud. The fridge itself is also very light weight so easy to carry around. The ‘wooden’ handle and door lock are actually plastic — but it’s a real nice looking little fridge and I’d definitely recommend it.

    Really stylish mini fridge

This warmer/cooler is a useful addition to your office/workplace – provided you have a power source, of course. This one comes with two power cables: one with an ordinary UK three-pin plug, and one with the kind that fits into a car cigarette lighter socket. When running, it’s very quiet.

This is NOT a fridge; it will cool (according to the manufacturer) to up to 20 degrees below the ambient temperature, and heat to up to 65 degrees above ambient. This means that in the UK, it will cool down to fridge-like temperatures on most days. However, it is NOT a fridge, and will therefore only ‘keep cool’, NOT refrigerate.

There is no temperature control other than the switch on the back, where you toggle between heating, cooling, and off. However, if all you want is to keep your lunch cool (or warm) then this is quite sufficient.

The cooler comes with a little shelf to fit in the fridge, which is useful if you want to put, for example, four fizzy drinks cans in it. However, it makes it a bit small for sandwiches. To get my little sandwich box in, I had to take the shelf out and stand the box on end. You could probably get two pasties in, if you stood them up.

As long as you bear in mind what this cooler/warmer is designed to do, and its small size, it’s a very useful bit of kit.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersVery good little fridge. Son wanted a mini fridge for his bedroom to store mini cans of drink and snacks. Haven’t used the warming part yet. Keeps drinks and snacks very cold. Does make a humming noise but no bother it’s not irritating. Needs good ventilation as does get warm at the back. Had a minor problem but seller was brilliant, answered quickly and problem was solved.

I ordered this to compare against my old mini fridge that I bought for uni in 2013:

    – It’s very small and compact, really living up to the name of a mini fridge…
    – The colour is actually really sleek and smart! I like this!
    – It can hold around 5-6 cans of coke, or 3 cans of Monster without the shelf.
    – For the cold setting, it does keep drinks nice and cool. I wouldn’t say as cold as a normal fridge, but
but they are certainly kept cool.
    – The warm setting is great for keeping your pastries/food warm! Although make sure you then
turn off the fridge and leave the door open for it to air out afterwards…
    – It came with the standard mains plug and a card plug as well so you can use it on the go which is really
    handy!

I’m really impressed with this mini fridge and I would definitely recommend it! Particularly for your office!

This is a very stylish little fridge which looks great with the wood details on the handles. It is fairly lightweight but is also a very small size. There is just enough space inside for a couple of cans of drink which is a little bit smaller than I would have preferred to be honest.

However I can’t fault the cooling or warming action. It keeps drinks lovely and crisply cool and keeps food warm. I wouldn’t use it to warm up already cold cooked food or whatever, as it isn’t safe to reheat cooked food to such moderate temperatures. But if you have a takeaway and want to save a slice of pizza or two, for exame, in your mini fridge on the warm setting for a late evening snack, it does the job of maintaining the warm temp nicely.

Overall a very nice little fridge, but be aware of the size before ordering as the capacity is very small.

    Very small but efficient fridge

A nice sleek looking mini fridge, ideal for traveling, for teen bedrooms or just if you want a mini fridge somewhere else in your house. It comes with the standard AC and DC adapters.

Seems to have a nice look and build, isn’t heavy, is durable and sturdy. You have the option to keep the fridge cool or heat the fridge up by just pressing the switch at the back. It’s not too noisy either, which is great, especially if it’s going in a bedroom. The shelves are easy to move around to suit your needs and the fridge door isn’t too noisy when opening and closing.

The size of the fridge is modest; it isn’t really big but can fit enough things in, especially if being used by a teen gamer or someone traveling. You can move the fridge shelves around to suit your needs, so you can either have a few cans of pop with shelves in or a bigger bottle with shelves out, on the inside of the door, it has a little storage compartment, so you could put things like chocolate in to stop them melting when it’s hot.

Having bought a similar model late last year, I knew what to expect and it didn’t disappoint, it’s a good starter fridge for a single person or teen in my opinion, you can’t cram it with lots of items but its good fro snacks and drinks for an individual person. It’s stylish, certainly looks the part and is worthy of the price in my opinion.

Ideal for a teenager or traveling.

Wow!! Im really impressed with this
    mini fridge.
I mean I know that Russel Hobbs is a good brand already and having this product doesn’t prove me any different.
A fridge that can do both – cool and heat up is really impressive.

It’s super light and easily portable.
I love that you can charge this fridge with your choice out of 4 different types of plug.
    Even one for your car.
On a hot summer day driving down the beach, charge up the fridge and keep your drinks cool.
The capacity of the fridge is 4 litres, so you can place 6 canned drinks.

In winter it’s perfect when you can keep you pasties or pastries hot (the best thing haha) .
The shelf in the middle is removable if you need space for bigger drinks or food.
The fridge is not loud either and it’s a big bonus and it’s very modern looking.
The only thing I’d say about this fridge is that you have to make sure you push firmly the door for a full close.
I would definitely recommend and its worth every penny:))

When I told my husband about this little cooler/encubator he was very excited about it. He wanted a small electric cooler for his car for some time. So he was very eager to test this little cooler/warmer.

To his excitement this little cooler works perfectly. It amazingly cools down tempreture between 1-4 degrees Celsius. He tested it with a digital thermometer. The back of the fridge droped to below 1 degrees and edge of the shelf toward its door was about 3.6 degrees Celsius. As a result, this is a well functioning fridge that is suitable for keeping food and drinks.

    Also, the shelf is removable!

With a little switch at the back of it you can turn the warmer mode on after about 40 minutes the inside tempreture reached about 65-70 degrees Celsius. Again impressive litter warmer.

This fridge/warmer is pretty quiet. Tempreture in both modes remains stable.

You have to keep in mind that the 4L is small and suitable for cans. You can’t even put a 500ml water bottle in it. However you can put small amount of food or fruit in this fridge.

So keeping in mind its size and the intended functionality of its design this is an excellent little fridge/warmer.

For this reason, it deserves a 5 stars. Keeping its size in mind I recommend it.

Suitable for cans or small containers! Perfect fridge and warmer. Keep the size in mid. It's small.

his is a portable mini cooler/warmer from russell hobbs, it could be powered by dc/ac, very compact in size, both the door handle and carrying handle are in wood finish (plastic material)

i used it under my desk, where i placed a lot of other computer stuff; this mini cooler is a perfect fit, it just filled up all the available height in there!

the inner space of the mini cooler is good for 6 cans of drink, or fit for 2 bottles of wine (187ml each), and there is also a little door compartment for storing bit of snack in it

now i have a mini bar under my desk, so i could have cold drinks without going to the kitchen!

i tested both cool and hot mode, in cool mode, the lowest temperature of the condenser is -1 degree, i keep 2 bottles of wine in it and they became around 10 degree after an hour; when it’s in hot mode, the heating element is about 60 degree, i didn’t tested the hot mode with anything inside, as i usually keep drinks hot with a thermo flask instead of a warmer, anyway it’s always ready and some day i will find it useful to me

there is a car lighter adapter included for using the cooler in car, which is very useful for upcoming summer

all in all, i’m very happy with this product, would recommend

hope you find these information helpful

While I’ve rated this 4/5, for me it’s unlikely to get a great deal of use in the current environment as its size renders it completely impractical. The 4L version will, I don’t doubt, be perfect for a lot of people, but the more expensive 14L version is probably the one you should be considering.

The fridge itself is well made and easy to use, a single switch on the back toggles between hot/off/cold and there are both sockets for AC and DC plugs. You get a standard UK AC cable/plug but also a car cigarette cable which is a great addition as this is likely to be great on the road.

Plus the white/wood Scandi design looks really swish.

In terms of day-to-day practicality, I can’t see it having a great many home uses. We had thought to use it in the summer to hold cans of beer, but they’re too big to fit in, same with bottles. You can fit a few little stubbies in but you’d be through them and heading indoors to get more to refill in no time.

Another use we considered was using the hot setting and treating it as a mini-kiln for the wife’s airdry clay. but there’s no temperature control to gradually increase it, just ‘a one-size-fits all HOT’.

Thinking about it though it would be great for people on road trips, or people out fishing perhaps to keep things cool, though a standard cooling box would be easier and cheaper. Keeping things warm while out is probably it’s best use.

Once the country opens up I’ll daresay I’ll get a lot more use from it.

Well-made fridge but small size is a limitatio

This is a decent sized mini cooler (note – NOT fridge) that will hold 6 x 330ml cans. That gives you an idea of the internal size. Put a couple of chocolate bars in there and you’d be down to about 4, maybe 5 cans. It measures (H) 25.2 x (W) 18 x (D) 24. Outside dimensions.

The nice feature on this appliance is the fact that it’s not just a cooler. You also have the option of flicking the switch at the back of the unit to ‘HOT’ from ‘COLD’ to get food warm.

It makes a light humming noise as it runs, but it’s not loud by any means so wouldn’t even be close to keeping you awake if you had it in your bedroom for example.

It can be used for keeping cosmetics cool. That’s where the little pocket inside the door comes into play in this scenario as it would be handy for tissue mask packets. For food and/or drinks I can’t see much use for this little pocket.

There’s a slide in and out (very easily) shelf, which is good as it allows you to have the choice to take it out if you have larger items like a beer can that you want to put in there. It would hold four of these by the way.

The handle is useful but the unit isn’t heavy by any means so is easy to carry without it but it’s a nice addition.

You also get a car adapter that you can plug into your cigarette holder that allows you to take it on the move with you, for a picnic etc.

Don’t use it in a garage/loft or anywhere that’s not room temperature as the unit can’t cope with it and will freeze cans. That’s the only downside as it limits where you can put it. If it was slightly bigger then it would be the ideal size for a mini cooler, but you know the size going in so it’s not fair to downgrade the review rating for that.

    Nice coole

Extremely handy, bi-functional, fridge/pie heater which comes complete with both AC and DC power supply plugs thus giving you the choice of mains power or if you so wish, plugged into the cigarette lighter socket of a vehicle supplying 12V. It has a capacity of 4 litres which, although this sounds small, you’d be surprised what you can get in there. This is a manual defrost fridge.

A switch located at the back of the product allows you the choice of using it as a refrigerator or as a heater capable of reaching 65 degrees above ambient temperature allowing for the heating of say bakery products. All in all, ideal for the likes of camping trips away in the car.

The inside of the unit has a shelf on one side and on the door, a small ‘pocket’ where, first thing that came to my mind, was storage for sliced cheese although the fridge in general could also be utilised for the storage of medication which, in some cases, needs to be kept at refrigerated levels of temperature. When in fridge mode, the running motor is barely audible and in any case is soon lost in surrounding noise.

In summary, as long as you don’t expect too much out of this cracking little unit as regards storage space then I’m sure you’ll be as delighted as I am with its capabilities. Regarding its retail price at time of writing, well, you have to consider that this is a bi- functional unit, giving you the choice of fridge or food warmer, so in that respect, you’re getting good value for money.

This really is great, so ideal for my husband to have by his desk at work, he works in a huge office and although they have a shared Kettle (not at the moment though during covid) they have nowhere to keep milk etc, my husband has always just taken a small flask of milk in for his tea each day but now he can keep a small milk in the fridge along with his lunch in the summer, it also hears upsi in the winter he can take in Cornish pasties to heat up in it, I switched it in and within 1 hour it was under 3degrees, I then switched it into heat and within ah hour it was 52 degrees, looks nice and only makes a low fan noise. This will also be great for when going out for the day on a long journey, we can easily keep some drinks cool in this with the car lead adapter that comes with it. This is great for single use, it is small compact but very efficient in making things hot or cold, not sure I would rush out and pay 49 for it but would pay 30 something for i

I’m very impressed by this mini fridge. It looks so cute, its portable and fits few bits inside.
It arrived in branded box only, neatly packed.

Fridge have nice shape and it easily can be carried around by the handle on top. Handle and door opening part are made of plastic which only looks like wood. Fridge is a bit heavy due to the need of an engine inside. When it’s an empty and I lift it up, then the weight of the engine on the back pull the fridge backwards. As soon as I put 6 cans of drink inside, it balance the weight.
The inner shelves easily can be removed if we want to store taller bottles or any other product.
If we want it to work, we need to connect this fridge to the power and wait 4 hours on either setting (hot or cold) to use it. To be honest, it a bit long time to wait.. If we want to take this fridge in summer day trip then will be ideal to switch it 4 hours earlier before we set off and then just keep it connected to cigarette lighter (if travelling by car/van/camper van). Like that we will have cool drink or sandwich ready to consume at the nice chilled temperature.
This fridge can cool food down to the temperature 18-22C lower than the current ambient temperature. If is 30C hot outside, fridge will cool food to 8-12C, that’s pretty good. Minimum temperatures it can cools is 5C.
On hot setting it can get around 60C.
If we open the fridge’s door to often the temperature inside will change so ideally is to minimize the number of door opening.

After opening door I found there 2 charging cables- one 3 pin one for main socket and the second one for use in solar-power through cigarette lighter. When I tried to connect the cables to the fridge I noticed that the one for main home socket is very tough to go inside the port on the back of the fridge. I had to use force to push it in. The car charger one went inside the port pretty easily. As soon as the cable has been connected to the power supply, I turn the button on the ‘cold’ setting and light came up green. Fan also started to work, throwing the air out on the back of the fridge. On setting ‘hot’ the light lights up on red. Home plug takes 5A fuse. Fridge have 2 ports for each cable and the ends of the cable are also different to match the shape of the port, not to mistakenly connect it the wrong way.

I like this product and will use it in summer for trip by car or even keep it in bedroom on summer to have chilled water within reach of the hand, how convenient 🙂

This is a great little fridge. It cooled my stuff in a much shorter time than the 4 hours suggested in the instructions.

We are using it to cool 330ml cans of drinks – it will take 6 cans, 4 on the bottom, and 2 side-on on the upper shelf. I think it will take 4x500ml beer cans if your cans are larger.

It comes with a 12 volt plug for your car, or a mains lead for home use.

The only two niggles are –

Firstly, it’s a bit noisy. When its cooling the fan is on all the time and you can hear it. It’s not too bad but it’s not silent.

Secondly, the door has a mini shelf you can put into it. However, you can’t close the door when the fridge is full if you put the shelf on!

These are both really minor niggles and we are very happy with the cooler.

This is a super cute little desktop fridge, ideal for use in the office (work or home) or in a teenage bedroom. The blurb suggests that this can also be used in the car, so would be ideal for festival days or trips. I ordered this for desktop use, as my son-in-law is working from home, and so I thought this would be ideal to hold some cans of juice as the summer comes. The fridge looks fab – It has a nice chrome handle and the brand name is clearly displayed. The edges are curved so there are no sharp corners to catch yourself on, which is handy in a confined workspace. There is an internal shelf which can be removed if desire, and the fridge holds 6 cans. Obviously, this could be used to store lunch items as well. The leads are supplied inside, and are easy to fit. The whole item looks so cute and offers such a handy purpose that I am very pleased with! Russel Hobbs is a reliable, trusted name in kitchen appliances, and I feel that this fridge lives up to the standards of quality that you would expect from this brand. Priced at 45.99, this offers good value for money, and is subtle enough to blend in with any decor. I am very happy with this product, and am happy to recommend.

In the box with the Russell Hobbs Mini Portable Cooler is a proper printed user guide, which is become increasingly unusual in the internet age. Also inside the cooler are two power cables, one for 240v mains and the other for a 12v car socket.
The cooler has a pleasing, rounded rectangular, “retro” design with a smooth white body, (grey and black options are also available). On the front is a door with a mock wooden handle, with a matching, fold-away, carry handle on the top.
About two thirds up the inside of body is a shelf and inside the door a small pocket; both are removable.
On the back are the two power sockets and an OFF/COLD/HOT button.
The space inside is sufficient for six standard drinks cans, four standing and two laid on the shelf. Maximum capacity is four litres.
Taking the COLD setting first, It’s worth noting that this is a cooler, not a refrigerator, it’s designed to keep thinks cold, not chill them. Before putting anything in, it’s necessary to run it for four hours to reduce the temperature.
If you want to take it on a trip, it’s best to run it from the mains indoors, put your drinks or food inside and then take it to the car and transfer to the 12v supply. You must leave five minutes before reconnecting. I was very pleased to find that the 12v power cable was sufficiently log to allow the cooler to be put behind the front seats.
The COLD setting can also be used in the home for storing cosmetic or medical products.
The HOT setting must also be run for four hours before putting anything in. Maximum temperature is about 60 C, so you should ensure this is sufficient for safe consumption.

I’m expecting to get a lot of use from handy cooler as summer approaches.

A very handy little fridge for my bedroom. I wouldn’t call it mini though as it is smaller than average mini fridge that you buy. It is smallest size I have ever seen. It takes either 6 cans of 330ml soft drink or 4 cans and few chocolate bars /snacks at the top shelf.

My wife has put some of her make up stuff on the shelf too. Nothing much I can do about this. She calls it versatile use of an equipment.

It is very well made and has all glossy white finish with wooden effect handle. It is very light weight and portable. I am using it right now and drinks are nice and chilled, just the way I like. I have placed it on my bedside table and even though it is a fridge, it is not excessively noisy as a matter of fact it is less noisier than a mini fan. This doesn’t bother me at all as convenience of having a chilled drink and snacks right next to my bed out weighs any noise.

It has a switch at the back to use it as hot or cold storage. I am only going to use cooler but if you fancy a warm snack like a cheese and onion pasty, it will keep it nice and toasty. PS. Make sure you don’t accidentally flick the switch when Chocolates and soft drinks are in it.

I can not guarantee how long this thing will last but only time will tell. Overall it is a very handy little fridge for home office, bedroom etc. Actually my daughter saw it and commented that it will be very useful for keeping milk bottle in it in summer especially at night. As my grandson like cold milk.

I am delighted with this mini fridge and will definitely recommend it for home office, bedroom, nursery, keeping medicine, skincare products, caravans and on the motorway as it comes with Car accessories lead to be plugged into cigarette lighter using 12v DC as well as AC cord for home and caravan.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAt a size just big enough for three small cans of beer and a modest snack, my feelings about this minuscule fridge are mixed but mostly positive.
I’m sure I will get some good use from it, but can’t help wishing it was just a tiny bit bigger, so normal size beer cans would fit in.
In operation it is whisper quiet and I like the stylish wood-effect door opening clip and lift-up carry handle.
The biggest plus for me is the inclusion of a 9v car adaptor and, when lockdown finishes, this is going in the boot of my jeep to provide some nicely chilled refreshments for a day out.
If the very small capacity isn’t an issue for you, then you will not be disappointed with this item.

    **** Update ****
Just used it for the first time to warm up a sausage roll and was reasonably impressed. It raised the temperature of my veggie roll, from chilled (straight from the fridge) to gently warm in around 25 minutes.
It uses less electricity than putting the oven on and, for small items like this, I can see me using this appliance quite often.

A gorgeously designed mini fridge. This fridge is perfect for your bedroom or even travelling with, it comes with an AC and DC adaptor so you can use it in the car and via a UK plug socket.

This seems well made, lightweight and durable. It has a good solid plastic handle on top to carry it easily. This mini fridge can go hot or cold, with just a flick of the switch, which is quite good. The shelves are each removable and the door closes quiet quietly and gently. The sound really isn’t bad, I thought it would be noisier, even when switching it’s hardly noticeable.

The size isn’t the biggest, it’s roughly 25cm x 16cm x 23cm. The inside is around 20cm x 13cm x 14cm. However it’s still quite convenient and useful. There are two little shelves within the fridge, these can both be removed so you can fit say three or four small cans of pop, or a few small bottles of pop, if you were to remove the shelves. The inner shelf is perfect for a chocolate bar, I have to admit!

I did initially think it was a little pricy for its size but having seen the design, the build and the fact that it can go hot and cold quite easily, I would recommend it. I do think it’s worth the price. I love that my partner can use it for his beer/pop etc and I can use it for face masks and other beauty products!

    Adorable, quiet, hot and cold!

Unlike a normal refrigerator, which can adjust the temperature, the cooling effect is not as strong as that of a refrigerator, but if it is used as a car refrigerator, then soft drinks are sufficient at this temperature.
There are two layers inside, which are the height of a bottle of Coke placed horizontally and vertically.
Choose cool after plugging in, and the inside of the refrigerator will soon be air-conditioned.
If used to store facial masks, then this refrigerator is particularly suitable. In short, it is more suitable for cosmetics, beverages, and fruits.
The appearance of the mini refrigerator is exquisite and compact, and the quality is solid, but it is a bit noisy. It’s not a noisy sound, it’s a working sound, but it’s not muted.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis little cooler is stylish with its curvy 1950s shape
The inside area is 13.5 deep by 20cm tall by 13 cm wide
It has an easily removable plastic shelf and door pocket.
It comes with 2 cables, 2 metres long, one for UK mains and one is 12volt with a car lighter socket connector
It can store 6 330ml cans by standing 4 upright and two flat.
You must use it in upright position due to the need to plug into the back panel and also to ensure that the vents are kept clear.

In the very comprehensive instruction booklet we are told that cooling will reach between 18 and 22 degrees BELOW ambient temperature (that is excellent)
optimum results between room temps of 20c and 25c and its lowest temp achievable is reported as 5 degrees centigrade.

The heating setting can reach 60 degrees c give or take 5 degrees so its not really a cooking heat as much as it is a heating-up already-cooked heat.

I put a thermometer in when the room was 20 degrees C
Plugged into the mains and switched to cold.
There is a soft fan sound, quieter than a computer fan.
4 hours later my thermometer actually shows 3 degrees C and my room temperature is now about 21 degrees so that is an excellent cooling effect.
The fan seems never to switch off so there is no automatic OFF time during its being plugged in and the switch being ON

We need to wait 4 hours for it to reach lowest temperature so if you were to take this camping, plugging in at home for 4 hours just before leaving would be a good move.

I really like this cooler, it is ideal for our car camping as we can switch it on with our perishables plugged into our power box 12 volt socket during the day and at night leave it off and insulate it.

It is not run with a compressor so will never reach freezing temperatures but I was impressed at how cold it got.

This Russell Hobbs mini fridge arrived in its own box along with a guarantee card. The power lead was located inside it . It’s lightweight and even has it’s own carry handle on the top !

On opening it up it holds 6 cans four in the bottom and two store sideways on the fitted shelf .

This would fit inside a caravan really well , but don’t expect to get a days food in it . Turning it on to the cooling position it emits a fan sound , which is more like a buzzing than an intrusive hum.

I have to admit I was confused how a fridge could heat food until I noticed the switch on the back also goes to hear . This heats the inside of the plastic fridge up to 65 so not a cooker more of a reheater it could certainly heat up pies .

Priced at just under 43. It’s not expensive but keep in mind you get what you pay for .

If it’s just a beer chiller for use outside in the garden in summer then it will do its job ( bearing in mind it only holds six cans , so they’ll be no partying ) .
It’s worth noting that this is made by Russell Hobbs and comes with a guarantee .
