Better than expected
I have quite a few Ryobi tools but was hesitant to buy a leaf blower as strangely I enjoy raking the leaves. Due to a busy period I thought I would buy one and give it a go, afterall it can always be returned. It arrived shortly before I was about to get ready for work but I thought I would try it out.
I was really surprised how strong the blowing was (I’m sure there’s a better way of explaining that). After a few minutes the leaves were all blown to the hedge ready for picking up. The leaves were very wet but the blower had no problem with them. Had I had more time, I’m sure it would have cleared every last leaf although they’re still coming down. It was also useful for blowing the leaves of the top of the hedge back on to the County Councils land. The photos show a before and after (5 minutes). If like me your in two minds, give it a go

Cleared leaves from front and back garden with ease, controllable switch makes the job easer, very happy with this product, I used a 5ah battery and it was powerful, didn’t try it with less ah battery
Good for a quick clear up
Surprisingly powerful, but nowhere near as good as my 2.5kW WORX WG518E blower (which I highly recommend). This one is excellent for a quick clear up on the drive and paths but I wouldn’t try to clear the leaves off the lawn with it. My 4Ah battery only drops one bar over a week with a few minutes use every day.
Superb for drying my motorbike and ca
Bought a leaf blower to have a no-touch dry method for my motorbike and it’s hard to reach spaces. As we have the One+ battery it made sense to buy a Ryobi. After researching the different models, this one with the removable nozzle and the speed control trigger was the best fit for my needs.
Yes it clears away any leaves in the garden but it dry’s the bike and car beautifully.
The battery life has given me well over 30minutes continuous use which is all I need but there wasn’t any lag so I’m sure it could go on for longer quite easily.
It is noisy as all leaf blowers are and the dogs find it amusing to have their mouths and body blown around too 🙂 …

I purchased mine via the Amazon warehouse program. It cost me sub 35. So my review whilst favorable is also cost bias.
It’s light weight. The trigger is a helpful feature. Enables control of piling leaves for mass collection. Rather than setting at max or nothing.
I have a tree heavy garden and substantial rose bushes. We get a lot of leaves and flower heads fall and this makes collection in one a breeze.
I also use it to clear the drive of leaves, rubbish and weeds once easily pulled from place.

Perfect cordless jet blowe
I wanted a cordless blower to clear leaves and debris around the garden, and chose this one to add to my Ryobi One+ collection. It’s lightweight and comfortable to use. I have purchased a 5ah battery to extend the running time and actually increase the power slightly. A very good addition to my growing collection!
This thing blows!
It blows leaves, not too noisy and not too heavy.
Choice of power settings is great.
Full force is more than strong enough for most home garden uses.

I live within the ‘fallout zone’ of a 200+ year old oak tree (plus other assorted species) so every autumn my garden and drive get a regular covering of leaves, seeds, etc. The Ryobi leaf blower made quick work of blowing the leaves, etc, from the lawn, drive and borders and I was very pleased with the performance it gave me.
I would recommend the Ryobi OBL 18JB for general domestic use in small to medium gardens, however for larger areas the18v lithium battery might prove a bit short on run time – obviously more powerful batteries are available from the same manufacturer.

Very light and great responsive trigger. I have used it 4 times with a 5amph battery for approx 10mins at a time and there is still a decent charge in the battery.

This is a fantastic leaf blower with a powerful blast when the trigger is fully down. Turns an hour long job with a brush into a 10 minute tidy up. Use a 5Ah battery and get 35-40 mins use at full power, expect a lot of noise on this setting so choose carefully the time/day!

Quick and easy
As previous reviewers have said it does eat batteries. I got 5 mins of use from each of my 1.3 amp batteries and 20 minutes from a 5 amp. Lightweight, easy to use, made clearing leaves a lot easier.
The ability to vary the blowing force makes this an excellent blower for controlling the leaves as they are being brought together for bagging. Its lightness and balance makes it very convenient to use. It seems to cope well with damp leaves on the lawn. A good buy! I use it with a 5AH battery for the extra use time before having to recharge.

Given this for Christmas last year (my choice). I didn’t think I needed it, but I had a good selection of other Ryobi One+ tools. I’m really surprised how useful it has proven in the garden. It is perfectly balanced and really easy to control the power.

Great battery leaf blower from the Ryobi one+ range. Easy to use and has speed control via the trigger. Easily blows wet leaves off the lawn. Can blow stone chippings and slate if you use full blower, But the trigger control is very simple to use and adjust the power of the blower. Best I’ve used outside of a petrol version.
