Very high-tech, but simple to use you get messages to your phone. If you download the app it tells you when your washing is dry or you can just use the machine without the app thumbs up agai

Being the first heat pump dryer we have used it was a bit of a shock discovering it didn’t get as hot as our old vented dryer and thought we’d made a mistake purchasing at first but far from it. The automatic cycles adjust the cycle time so you don’t have to keep manually checking if the load is dry, literally turn it on and forget about it, the real difference is how much cheaper it is to run I’d say a 5th of the price of our old dryer so will pay for itself eventually. It has lots of features that we will never use most probably but it’s nice to have so many options all the same, WiFi setup was easy and the initial guide when you switch machine on is good. Not cheap although was cheaper from amazon than anywhere else by 50 but you do get what you pay for. Highly recommended machine.

Don’t bother thinking or looking about other models, Buy this drier. Amazon were the cheapest on price too when I bought mine

Manual was a little hard to follow as no exact instructions but the set up menu on the machine made up for that. Brilliant machine and my children love the jingle tune when it finishes

This thing is all singing and all dancing, even connects to the washing machine to recommend a drying cycle for the load you just washed.
I really like the damp detection feature, soon as no moisture is detected it turns the cycle off

To be honest I was a but sceptical, because we have a 2in1 washer/dryer which was absolutely terrible. This one is a life-changer!

It’s a tumble-drier so it’s not gonna change the world. You put wet clothes in, ouch a button and dry clothes come out some time later.

This one, like my Samsung washer, is very intuitive and easy to use. Loads of programs for just about every kind of fabric, it’s a condenser sonic doesn’t need to be connected to an outlet pipe. It has an easy to access tank that needs to emptied after each use. If you are able to link it to an outlet pipe, just move the pipe on the back from plug A to plug B, plumb in the pipe and you’re done.

Of it’s many great features, the 3 I use most are
    1. You can connect it to your home WiFi and use the SmartThings app to monitor or control the machine remotely.
    2. There is a light on the drom when you open the door so you can see if you’ve gotten everything out, and
    3. If you need to dry something – like a pair if trainers, for example – that you don’t want rolling around for fear of damaging the item OR the machine, there is a shelf you can clip on the inside that will hold it still while warm air dries the item thoroughly.

Not the cheapest machine available but the best one I’ve ever had.

    4.5/5

I absolutely love my Samsung tumble dryer. I was sceptical about the heat source at first, having had a condenser tumble dryer in the past but after reading all the reviews I decided to go for it not only for energy saving but also to stop me having to put a vent hole in my listed house, it’s amazing I was pleasantly surprised at how well it drys my clothes. We have even connected it to the outside drain rather than keep having to empty the water tank. I love the tune it plays at the end of the cycle too. I 100% recommended this appliance. Extra bonus is it lights up when you open the door oh and has a drying rack for trainers or wool jumpers so it drys without tumbling.

I purchased this machine after months of researching and reading reviews as was after a heat pump machine. We went with this as we trust the brand Samsung, It does take some time to get used to the controls but the machine will learn with you because of the built in AI, We haven’t connected to the Wifi yet but this should allow you to change the finish tone and download different programs control etc from the smarthings app. So far all the clothes come out dry, you may find that it stays on for longer although this may seem that it uses more electricity its actually economical. If you put your clothes away as soon as its done you don’t even need to iron. Definitely recommend if you can find stock.

Not being very computer savvy we find it difficult to fathom out. We have managed by just using one programme and letting the machine work it out.
Not sure about cost yet because we have nor used it much.

I chose the Samsung unit over others for one simple reason, the ability to divert the condensate to the drain vs the built-in tank. This simple yet genius feature makes a condenser type dryer a workable option.

Beyond the above the machine is simple to use and very efficient. Installation was simple as plug in and attach supplied drain hose to outlet. I installed the SmartThings App to see what it did. A handy app that lets you download addition cycles, start the dryer remotely (if you enable remote start) and monitor progress.

Performance is exceptional, with just the right level of dryness for putting away immediately or ironing if required. A genuinely quiet machine, I need to look at the app to see if it’s running. Another great feature is the in-drum light that comes on when you open the door. Yet another really simple idea that helps elevate this above others in it’s class. Final feature is the in drum shelf that can be inserted to dry items less tolerant of tumbling like woollens and trainers.

Talking of class, this is not a cheap appliance. I am hoping the cost savings from lower energy consumption and better AI sensors will actually materialise else this becomes another gimmick in the low energy drive. I really hope it’s not but only time will tell.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI too purchased this dryer based upon other reviews and required a condenser type machine.
Having already purchased a Samsung washing machine (which is fantastic), we wanted a matching dryer.
This a good machine albeit pricey, which does take time experimenting with different settings to eventually find the ones best for most items then it’s works very well however, you do tend to dry items for a lot longer than a conventional dryer but with the Heat Pump system it’s very economical.

    In summary:
If you do not require a condenser type dryer then would suggest you stick with a normal vented type which will probably dry just as well for a lot less of a purchase price but, if you require a condenser type and you don’t mind paying premium price then this is a real good choice with a 5 & 10 year warranty respectively.

    A Great machine but…….
