I have been using Singled lightbulbs for about a year now. I started with the ones that required a hub, and later I got this one, independent from a hub. This modal works flawlessly with Alexa, and I would even say better than the original ones I got. From comparing them to the other model, this one has better color representation, and it is slightly brighter. I would definitely recommend buying more than one if you need to put them together, as to avoid slight color differences.
We are using this as a quiet time light, light for when quiet time is over and a night light. Setting up the scenes on the app is very easy and the lamp dimming is versatile. We love this and it is a less expensive option compared with a fancy nightlight.
Overall I am very pleased with the Sengled Multi Color LED bulb. It was very easy to set up and very easy to use. I really like that I can use Alexa devices to change the color as well as use routines to set the color.
I have many Sengled A19 Soft White Bulbs and I love them. I am not sure I need color bulbs but I may purchase more so that I can create a scene in a room for something like watching TV. The new Sengled App is great. I really liked how it connected to my existing hub and updated the firmware on not only the hub but all of the bulbs automatically. I will continue to purchase Sengled bulbs because they offer a really good value. I’ve also recommended them to many family members that are interested in smart bulbs.
I have 10 of these bulbs around the house, and continue to like them. I’ve had some for 2+ years and they are still going strong. The color-variability is nice, especially for things like mood lighting during movies.
The Alexa integration is rock solid, and I like the Sengled app a lot. It’s intuitive and integrates with Alexa well. I like that I can rename a bulb in the app and immediately use the new name with Alexa (eg. “Alexa, turn off couch lamp” where I’ve named the bulb ‘couch lamp’)
With 2 of the bulbs I’ve hit a weird thing where it stopped recognizing them one morning about 18 months after install. I re-scanned the QR code on the bulb and it recognized them again. The others have not had this issue.
Great integration with the Alexa app. Easy to use and install. Only hiccup was my being a little confused at the beginning with having to connect to Wifi on the app, but it wasn’t too hard to figure out.

Great bulb for its price. Easy to use, quick set up with sengled app. No need to have hub, can set up using your phone and can then add this “skill” to Alexa in order to control the bulb. Love that you can change to any color and dim as much as you want as well.
This is a very good product. Brightness could have been a bit higher but that’s my personal preference. I would highly recommend people to give these bulbs a try specially if they are new to using smart bulbs. The pairing was quick and easy. I am new to using smart bulbs and I feel like I made the right choice going with this one. Will update this review if anything changes.
The installation is very simple and easily connects to Alexa/Google and the functions such as changing the intensity or turning off and on works perfectly. if a user-custom effect could be added in the future, it will be wonderful.
After testing the different colors and comparing it to another multiple color bulb, I immediately saw the differences in colors. Whites were whiter and blues were bluer, just to name a few. After awhile, I realized that I had not installed the new bulb onto the Alexa app and was still able to voice control it. That alone makes this smart bulb a lot easier for non-techie people.
A very important upgrade to these bulbs, is the ability to control directly from Alexa, Google Assistant or SmartThings without the need of another hub. That is a big game changer for an outstanding, affordable bulb. It’s also smaller, lighter and brighter. I love this bulb, and I know many who will love it also. It’s going to make my Christmas gifts a lot easier.
Easy to setup with the sengled home app. Easy integration with Google home. With Alexa the skill doesn’t load probably an issue with my firetab. Nice colors and has a few preset color change rythm and random change. Brightness is average but I really like the pleasing colors. Wish it was cheaper to get more.
Love this lighting! Multiple colors help set the mood!! I use this one in my bathroom. Makes for a calm relaxing shower! I also bought the Hub to go with it and have ordered lights for the entire house. Really Cool to be able to remotely control the lighting. Also has a dimmer and different modes from soft,warm,bright and daylight!! Awesome and controlled with Alexa Google etc. Also company has App. 5
All my smart bulbs at home are from Sengled and am a big fan of their products. I was pleased when then announced a wifi bulb, since all my bulbs require the hub in order to work. The wifi bulb can be placed further as the wifi signal reaches beyond what the hub can do. This new wifi bulb is a tad brighter but functions the same as my other owned Sengled bulbs. I can now place this wifi bulb outside as a porch light (where I couldn’t before) and can change the color depending on holiday and mood.
I have 4 Chinese made bulbs to compare. The Tuya Chinese bulbs I have review among the best of those options. The Sengled bulb was superior in every way. Instillation was much easier. Integration with Google and Alexa were about the same. The Sengled bulb is brighter, showed brighter and more accurate color, and worked well with Sengled, Google, and Alexa apps. Sengled color was more accurate with use of dimming. I found the Chinese bulbs looked orange rather than yellow when dimmed, and more purple than light blue. Other colors were less effected. Both bulbs get hotter than I would like, but most LED bulbs I have tried share that problem. (A few standard LED bulbs stay cool, so I know it is possible.) I was impressed by the Sengled bulb. Ease of instillation and color quality is worth the higher price.
Wanted tonhave relaible multicolor smart LED bulb for a one room to check it. So far we loved it.
1. As in the Video Multicolor works well. Video is with Random mode in the app for demonstration. Would be nice feature for a party.
2. Easy pairing with Sengled app. And Alexa integration worked without any hassle.
3. Its broghter that normal LED bulbs you can find at walmart. In the Photo left hand side is Daylight LED bulb from walmart. Right hand side is this bulb. As you see this one we can put to higher color temperature (here in cool setting) compared to other daylight bulb and also brighter.
3. Adjusting the brightness is easy. And alexa can handle even the color change with voice commands.
Only thing ia I hope by over time, price will get down little bit.
Overall a very good experience so far with this multicolor smart bulb.
Update: After about 2 days, I can no longer control this bulb using my voice through my Google Home device even though it’s listed in the room in both the Sengled App & the Google Home app. I can only control this light through the Sengled app.
This Sengled color WiFi light bulb is great. It was very easy to install. The instruction manual was clear and easy to follow and the step by step instructions in the app also made the process of connecting the bulb to WiFi simple.
The app is user friendly and makes it easy to turn the bulb on & off, adjust the brightness, and change the color. This color bulb also gives you seemingly limitless colors to fit any room or mood. If you already have other Sengled products, the app makes it easy to add the bulb to a room and control it using voice commands through my Google smart speakers.
Overall, this is a great bulb and a great value. I’ve had positive experiences with all of my Sengled products. The company is reputable, and based on my conversation with customer care, it’s clear that they place a high value on customer service. I would definitely recommend this bulb to anyone wanting a simple to install smart bulb and looking for easy to use option to add color to a room.
I purchased a regular wifi bulb from Sengled when I got my Echo. This is my second Sengled product and I’m very happy with it! Super easy to setup and link to Alexa. So much fun creating routines with the bulb!
This smart light bulb is awesome is perfect for my home theater setup or when you want to relax. I recommend this product and it work how it should,It have more 7 colors. It works with Google home and Alexa, doesn’t require a hub to work.
I been an earlier adopter of Sengled as I found their products to be reasonably priced vs competition. Most of Sengled products do require the hub and this new bulb is hands down 1000 times easier to install and flexibility of hues allow you to set the right tone in the room.
Love this lightbulb! It took about 2 minutes to install and the app is very easy to navigate. Colors are super bright and vibrant and I love that I can control them from anywhere. Definitely would recommend!
Much like the other reviewers, I found this bulb super easy to set up out of the box (it is my first smart lightbulb). The box came with a single lightbulb and a folded set of instructions. After screwing the bulb into a lamp and following the #1-4 instructions, everything was running smoothly. The Sengled Home app has a nice user interface, but I found it slightly frustrating trying to set particular times and “Wake Up” settings. To set a time requires scrolling a time wheel, which does not come naturally or stop at incremental times. I wish there were an analog input or some way of typing in values… The “Wake Up” settings are limited, but still handy. In any case, these all are relatively small frustrations with the App, but the lightbulb itself is great. The colors are rich, and the bulb is plenty bright. Running at 100% brightness is *really* bright. The colored lightbulb has access to a range of white temperatures, up to 6500K (a range that is not accessible to the “Daylight” bulbs from Sengled). I’m looking forward to playing with it over the next few months in the hope that it doesn’t burn out.
It’s a great product. This is equivalent to not being disappointed in the bulb or the bulb not having the color feature. I went with this company based on reviews etc. Nothing could have gone more smoothly from order to delivery time to its condition when it arrived. The directions actually make sense and are comprehensive. Although you won’t need it. I will buy again. I mean, you could choose the color lavender. Every room needs a hint of color. LOL
So I bought this product after realizing I had bought the same one that required a hub to install. No big deal, just returned the other one and bought this. It is TREMENDOUS! It works perfectly. It is as bright as a normal bulb and easy to control using both the Sengled Home app, the Google Home app, or using a google home mini. It can dim, used as an alarm light in combination with an alarm clock. It is great. Highly recommend for this price.
Of all the bulbs I tried this was the simplest and most impressive. Just screw in the bulb, power up and it immediately showed up on the wifi network. The adjustable colors are vibrant and amazing. I don’t use Alexa so can’t speak to integration with that. Love these bulbs.

I’ve bought 3 of these in total now and I really enjoy them. I’ve only had issues with one and I think its because of my lamp but whenever I turn the brightness up to 100% the is a loud buzzing sound. Turning it down to 80% and it mostly goes away. I really enjoy being able to schedule when the lights turn on and off. Overall great light bulbs
I am remodeling my home, and I had previously bought another brand of smart bulbs. Then someone recommended Sengled and I bought a couple of these, and they are just overall better than the other one. The white is better, brightness is better and the colors come up much better. And all for a decent price. And it works perfectly with google home. I would recommend this product.
This light bulb is an excellent addition to a smart home that you want to add mood lighting to. I like filming Youtube videos and changing the mood lighting in the background. You can do this from an app or even in Google Home/Alexa with a voice command. Easy set up and you don’t need a hub for this one which is nice if you just want one bulb.
I purchased this product to replace my existing lightbulb in my bedroom. I consistently read with them lights on at night, and the bulbs that came were rather dim for my tastes. Besides that they paired easily enough to the phone app, and have good Alexa and Google Assistant integration built in.

This lightbulb was super easy to install. All you need is the app and it takes less than 5 minutes. The colors are beautiful and it works seamlessly with my Alexa speaker. Highly recommend this product as you don’t need a hub and it’s very much worth the price, whereas other smart bulbs are far more expensive and offer exactly the same features.

My first smart household product. Installation was easy. Bulb comes with small instruction booklet. Downloaded app: step-by-step instructions guided me. Connected to my WiFi, and I was all set. I can brighten, dim, change color, and do so much more. Great for parties,bad well as intimate settings. Can even turn light on/off from my iPhone. I Love this Product!
What I like best about this light bulb is that it pairs with Alexa. I do not have to get out of bed to get the lights turned off anymore!
It also lets you pic colors and create different scenes, so you just have to call which setting you want and the light will be as bright as you like. Great for romantic nights!
Sengles smart bulbs were the second set of bulbs I bought to use with Alexa had them paired in less than a minute
First set after three day not being able to pair them I was not only ready to send the bulbs back but Alexa too.

Lights are vibrant and bright. I do not have another similar product to compare it too as these are my first purchase in regards to smart lights but I can say i’m very impressed with the quality and alexa integration.
Note: If integrating with an Echo product, first setup the device using the Sengled Home app and instead of trying to link it to your alexa account through Sengled as prompted, skip that and open the alexa app, let it find the device and then go to your skills and add sengled home app then enable to link, then put it in your sengled home account info when prompted and it will easily link without errors such as the ones you will receive when trying to link through Sengled app.

I have recently purchased a Sengled RGB bulb to replace the xaomi yeelight and I just wanted to say that upon just holding it I could tell that the engineering and build quality is far superior to the yeelight. Not only the bulb feels heavy and good quality but I could also use it with confidence without fear of it overheating, unlike the yeelight. My only letdown so far is the complications with pairing to the Samsung smartthings hub. I have only had it for less than 24 hours though but I am looking forward to using the singled bulb every day for a long time and potentially using exclusively sengled bulbs.
This is pretty cool. I do not have a smart plug but just decided to order the Wi-Fi light bulb instead. I put it in the kids room and now they can turn the light on and off and change the color. Took a few minutes to figure out and set up however the instructions were clear. Definitely would buy agai

This light was one of the best things I bought this year, I always wanted my room different and this light helped me a lot doing that, It super works with Alexa, my kids loves to ask Alexa to change the color all the time and never fails, it has a lot of colors, and you can change the brightness, what it awesome specially in the morning when you are waking up and dont want to burn your eyes with all the brightness, I simply LOVE this light, and I will definitely buy some more.

The cool thing besides all the colors that you can use in this lamp is that you can control the brightness to 1% to 100%!

We got our first multicolor Smart Wi-Fi bulb today, and it’s amazing! The kids are having a blast, and it was fairly easy to set up. I’m really glad it can just use the Wi-Fi instead of us having to buy some kind of a system. The only slightly frustrating thing was when we first tried to set it up, our internet has two bandwidths, and I guess that was keeping it from connecting because when I went and split the bandwidths into two different channels, so that we could just try and send it directly to the 2.4 gig frequency it worked with no problem, so if you have multiple Wi-Fi frequencies just make sure that you’re trying to connect it to the 2.4. #Sengled #smarthomes
I purchased these after my failed attempt at using the Sengled light bulbs with hub, once i was installed each light bulb individually, for a total of 5 light bulbs. It was the greatest addition to my apartment. The instal was flawless i recommend any one who is first time buy and skeptical to purchase these. once you play around with app youll discover what a great addition they are.
This was my first ever smart bulb purchase and I’m hooked! My friend had some smart bulbs at their apartment and I loved the color-changing feature so I decided to try it out to jazz up my balcony and create some contrast with my neutral yellow string lights. I hooked the bulb up to my wifi and Amazon Echo Dot in just a couple minutes and it’s worked flawlessly since! I’ve had it outdoors for a few weeks now with no issues. Will update if anything changes as the weather changes through the seasons but this bulb seems high-quality and reliable!
This bulb is wifi and does not need a hub. After downloading the app, it is dead simple to connect with. Enabling use with Alexa on Echo Show 8″ is also a cinch. Alexa even understands color changing commands, like “change light to soft white”

I already had an element home systems with a hub. I decided to buy a bulb that was hub free to avoid the cost of purchasing another hub with limited number of bulbs. Once I downloaded the new app for the bulb, my entire profile sync’d (hub and individual bulbs). Super easy to install and really pleasef that I can access everything in the same place!!! I’m so glad that I chose Sengled instead of Philips hue. Sengled is literally 1/2 of the price of Hue for the exact same features. It’s easy to install, has more colors than you could think of, and as bright as you need it. It’s a fun way to light your room for different moods and to align with your circadian rhythm (schedule blue light for the morning and red light for the evening). Easy and pain-free.
Easy to install, user-friendly app interface, convenient integration with Google Assistant (I don’t use Alexa, but it should work more or less the same), and more compact than many other smart bulbs! Not sure my cats share my enthusiasm, but I sure love it!!!

It is WIFI bulb so no Alexa is needed. I have google home that worked really well with it. The only drawback is you’d have to download the Sengled app, set it up then loop it with google home app through Sengled. It took some time but the result is worth it. It is a sengled item, not cheap but works for every penny you pay.

I was worried about purchasing this light bulb because most LED bulbs that change color require a “HUB” but this one connected to my WiFi easily. There were clear step-by-step instructions on how to set it up and connect to my Alexa. The colors are great and fun to play with. I would 100% recommend purchasing this bulb!

* Dims very gradually and smoothly
* Infinite (actually 16 million) color selection options plus some built in presets for basic light colors (warm, white, daylight, etc.) along with some special effects (color cycle, randomize, etc.)
* Sengled app has built in tools for setting up schedules, routines, presets, and ‘scenes’. It looks like the scenes feature lets you individually configure multiple bulbs to work together
* Integrates with Alex and Google (I had to use the Alexa and Google Home apps to set this up, the options within the Sengled app didn’t work for me)
* The Sengled app also keeps tracks of uptime and estimated costs/savings for the bulb — not really that useful to me, but still a neat feature
I like it, it’s very well built, rather heavy (which is fine!). And it integrates with my Echo flawlessly.
I have one other smart home bulb for my arc lamp and wanted to expand to some of the other bulbs in the living room. I had to download another app since this bulb was a different brand, but set up was easy and just like any other smart home device set up. Once that was set up I was able to link this new bulb together with my old bulbs and plugs into different scenes, and everything seems to working perfectly in tandem! I would say this is a bit pricey since you only get the single bulb, but it works perfectly!

The bulb was very easy to install from app to turning on , lots of colors plus different whites , adjustable brightness , schedule to turn on certain time and off. Easy use app able to control on phone . Worth the money , highly recommended.
I want more of these. They sync easily and the app is user friendly. I like choosing between the soft white and daylight white. Other brands don’t let you pick your white option. I’m slowly changing the whole house to these smart lights.
I tried many light bulbs like this with bad results. This has beautiful color range and brightness levels, as well as programed settings that I have is set up similar to sunset and sunrise lighting to go off when I start my day and head to bed. This helps with my sleep cycles tremendously. Great item & will buy more.
The Sengled Smart Lightbulb is extremely fun to use while playing games or watching movies. Simply by changing the coloring of the room to match a game or movies color scheme makes it feel more immersive. I’m enjoy the alexa integration a lot!
Exactly what I was looking for with more features than I planned on.
My roommate in college had a LED color changing bulb but it was not this advanced. This one allows you to select any color you would like or it can cycle between colors.
These bulbs were exactly what I was looking for. No hub required, they connect directly to my WiFi, easy setup, fully capable app with rooms, scenes, and schedules, and easy integration with Alexa. All I had to do was download the Sengled app on my phone, add the Sengled skill to Alexa, plug in the bulbs, give them names, and everything was all set. And all for half the price of the premium smart bulb brands. Perfect.

You know, the extra ability to adjust the color is a really lovely feature of this bulb. This is the second time I purchased this item because we have converted all our lightbulbs to smart bulbs from Sengled and it’s great to be able to command them with voice controls through Alexa.

This is my first color smart bulb and my kids love the color cycle light show and Christmas theme that are already configured. I really like the holiday themes that are setup with the push of a button. Adding this bulb to the SmartThings app was easy. I’m sure that I’ll buy more Sengled color bulbs to add to my smart home.
I read the reviews for this smartbulb on their Sengled app about how the bulbs were hard to set up and really annoying. I however went into installing them with an open mind, and I am glad I did because I did not experience anything the previous reviewers on the app did (maybe Sengled updated their software?). The bulbs took a little time to install, yes, but in the end they all work and are amazing. I set up mine with a google home and it is so cool to be able to change all, some, or even individual lightbulb color’s with just your voice. Their are many colors to choose from and so far google home and Sengled has had every color request (even things like ‘Ivory”). Overall, an amazing product.
Easy to install and love the colors. I like that I can change the colors depending on the mood I’m in. Turn off the light without getting up, just a simple app on my phone. Easy to download, just for to the App Store and download it. Setup email and done.

Took a while to get Alexa to recognize my commands to adjust the light but I prefer using the app to adjust it anyway so no harm. Very bright & fully adjustable, & I love the option to choose any color I like.

This bulb appears to be working well so far! It allows for virtually unlimited colors and I have not yet had any connection issues. The only issue I have encountered so far (and it’s a very minor one) is that the rgb settings are much dimmer than the plain white setting. However this is overall not a significant problem and is to be expected with such multicolor bulbs. Overall, a solid product that doesn’t cost too much!

This is my very first smart light bulb and it was very simple to set up. The bulb is connected to my Google Home Mini and works flawlessly. Set up in the Sengled Home app was seamless, and so was syncing in the Google Home app. This Sengled bulb offers great value for the price!
After internet researching many many different lights that would work with my google home through voice control, didn’t require a hub, and could be used for a wake up alarm light, sengled stood out at the top of the list. Sure, you could spend twice as much for a different variant that does the same exact thing, but why waste your money. This light is the best, and at a good price. Installation was very easy, and if you are somewhat tech savvy or you can read, it will be easy for you too. It works well with google home too, I can control it with my voice, or from the app, easily, seamlessly, and effortlessly. It’s a no brainer, this is a solid purchase. And it’s much less expensive than a wake up light alarm clock and it does the same thing and more.
It is very easy to setup with an Amazon app. I use it everyday with no problem at all.

The app was not the simplest but once I got it connected to WiFi it was super simple to use and control with Google assistant. I recommend highly.
I am very pleased with the bulb. I had no issues installing it. I created an account in the app before it arrives. Popped it into a socket, scanned the qr code on the box, and entered my wifi password.
Bulb looks great and is responsive. I drove about a mile away and it still worked using the app.
If you want a smart bulb, this is a great choice.
I’d recommend these several times over. Just be careful using on a dimmer switch, at 100% they work great but if you hit the dimmer by accident or anything the lights flicker like it’s trying to give you a seizure. If the switch gets turned off there is usually about a 15-20 second delay before it can be controlled as it has to pull an IP address agai
i buy one of these lightbulbs per month to slowly integrate them into my house without spending TOO MUCH MONEY on lightbulbs. this is the second one. they’re really great, and don’t require a hub so it’s a good one to try out without spending a bunch of money on something you’re unsure of. i don’t have an alexa or anything like that, but you can have them turn on and off on a timer from the app and a lot of other controls. the app kinda sucks but it gets the job done.
