Loved how easy to use the only thing would have liked a longer cord as my home is open plan and had to switch sockets. The pads are so easy to attach and easy washable in the washing machine I bought extra pack of pads so I don’t have to worry about the drying time. The floor sets so quick too no water residue like previous mops I’ve had

This is an excellent l steam cleaner and the house feels so much cleaner afterwards. It’s easy to use, the cord has a good length, heats up quickly with the added feature of the steam boost and doesn’t need much water. The only criticism I would give is that it doesn’t hold up straight when not in use but other than that would highly recommend it.

I love this. I have a dog who loves to go in and out of the garden ( he has rather large and always muddy paws) and this is brilliant, it cleans my floor in no time without any effort from me and it dries quickly as well. Very pleased with my purchase especially as I bought it on offer.

This steamer is light, simple to use and effective.

One fill and I can do a large kitchen, large dining room, bathroom and living room in one go and only two sockets needed to do across my bungalow.

This is the 3rd steamer I have invested in and I do not regret it, it is exactly what it says it is, and I can do my whole house with ease. I bought 2 extra replacement pads for it and all 4 will do an expert level clean. Cord length is 5 stars alone.

Had an earlier version of this and happy to see this one is just as good. Wouldn’t have anything else. Kind to the environment, no chemicals what’s not to like.

Only had it a couple of weeks but it seems good. Useful for a big house, it’s quite heavy but does clean very well. Also it dries very quickly.

I really like my steamer, great for wooden floors, what a difference after. Remember to lean down on handle to get a bit more steam. I’m definitely a fan. I haven’t used the attachments for wall tiles and other surfaces yet but seeing what it does to floors I fully expect it to work a treat.

Got the steam up as I was getting frustrated at the door and finish that was left on my laminate floor are used a traditional. Obviously being laminate for you have to be very careful to keep the moisture to an absolute minimum and I also make sure that the room has plenty of ventilation when I do it however the results I got with the steam up we are far better than anything I have got trying different cleaning products and using. In addition the ability to clean a fully tiled bathroom and shower cabinet with these is a great benefit. Particularly on the tiles in the shower cabinet where haircare products and conditioners would leave a pretty tough residue. Being shark it has the brand name behind it and it feels as such, there was cheaper steam mop is available but this certainly felt very sturdy and I expect it to last for years.

I’m so impressed with this Shark steam cleaner, I’ve never owned one before, always wanted one and have been having a lot of fun cleaning and sterilising the house with it.

In my video you’ll see me tackling dirty grouting and a tough stain on my utility room floor and I’ll explain more about how they work!

Firstly to tackle the dirty grouting, the steamer when used with the hose becomes handheld, you fill it with distilled water by removing the cap, filling with the jug and replacing the cap. You then plug it in and it flashes up that it’s on the Tool setting, so on this setting there is no Hi and Lo, it’s one stream of steam, controlled by the bottom that you keep your hand off, it continues to expel steam when you take the hand off the button for a few seconds then starts to dissipate until you give it another boost with the button or hold it down for continual steam. The grouting cleaner tool is the thin brush and it clicks in place effortlessly and when used on the grouting, you’ll see how quickly it cleaned it!! I was amazed, we’ve had the stained grouting for a while and other products haven’t cleaned it so this was incredible to witness! The dirt trickles away down the tiles and then you wipe off with a cloth! For us it was worth it just to get the stubborn dirt removed! It didn’t work so well with areas of mould on the silicone sealant but then we didn’t try for too long in case we melted it as it is VERY hot!! It also steams the room up a lot so if it’s a small room it’s a good idea to open a window!!

To use this for floors you attach the unit to the upright part, on first use it needs a Flathead screwdriver for one screw to secure it together, it’s quick to assemble and the steam unit clicks in easily and once you’ve turned on the power you select Lo by pressing the button once, Hi by pressing it again and then press it again to put it on standby.

The cleaner comes with 2 cloths which are machine washable, which is handy as when one is dirty you can use the spare in the meanwhile. I started using this on Lo and found it harder to push on the floor as the cloth kept quite dry, on Hi it obviously made more steam and was easier to push on our hard floors. I was surprised how dirty the cloth was after a quick go around our utility room floor on what I thought was relatively clean! It’s good for ingrained dirt too and really lifts all the dirt until it’s clean.

I had a particularly stubborn sticky part on the floor which when demonstrated on my video came off easily with the Steam Boost feature. To operate the steam boost you flip the mop head over and then when you tilt the mop forward it blasts concentrated steam and this broke down the stubborn dirt patch so that it then cleaned away easily with the mop!

There are other attachments included including a mini mop head for shower screens and work tops etc, a metal oven cleaning wire brush, a concentrated steam nozzle and the jug to fill it with. The manual mentions a garment steamer which was not included, then I saw it said ‘certain models only’ so obviously this model isn’t one that contains this so double check your model details if you’re after that accessory.

There’s also spares you can order online like more grip cloths etc which will be handy if they wear out.

All in all I am so happy with this mop, it’s working wonders and cleaning really well, the only minor improvement would be for the upright to click and secure into place like a vacuum cleaner would, as you have to lean it up against a wall when it’s cooling down or it would fall to the ground. other than that I’m very happy with it and it’s tackled some seemingly impossible cleaning jobs effortlessly! Recommended!

I am really happy with this Steam Mop. So far I have been testing this on my tiled kitchen and utility room floor. I am comparing it to my Vax S86-SF-CC which is priced on offer about 100 cheaper than this. I rated the Vax Three Stars on my Amazon Review, my wife regrets the purchase. The Shark is far superior to the Vax without a doubt.
What makes this stand out at being superior is how easy it is to use. I found the reservoir size to be about double the size of the Vax. And that counts. I don’t have to refill the Shark to do my kitchen and utility room which both combined are about 315 square foot. The hand held feature is very ergonomically friendly. The whole unit separates between the steam generator and the mop frame, so to speak. You can add attachments to the hand held section by choosing one and clicking it into place. I love the hose attachment as it is so light and easy to manoeuvre. Compared to my previous one where to use the attachments you had to hold the whole steam generator, that got rather cumbersome. Just holding the hose to do the work made it really easy. The only attachment I have used so far is the hose and the crevice cleaner. This was perfect at cleaning the grime between floor tiles. I’ll update this review once I have used a few more attachments.

The Dirt Grip Cleaning Pad, effectively a mop head is brilliant. They’re big, 33cm x 18cm. Which is about the same size as a regular floor tile. I found the design quite nifty. These mop heads are double sided so you can flip it over to get double the use. Because of the way it is designed you can use it in any direction. You get two supplied which means that whilst one is in the washing machine the other can be used. The mop head itself is clever,majority is soft cloth but the grey stripes are stiffer fabrics. So as you glide over the floor the dirt is aggravated and moved by the grey part the white part wipes it away. I found it lifted a lot more grime than I was expecting.
The steam output is continuous and you can choose high or low setting. It has a really strong output. You can focus the steam on a particular bit of grime if required by flipping the mop. It gushes out a jet of steam. It is a nice to have feature that sets this apart.

In terms of build quality I feel this will be long lasting. It’s made really well. The handle is strong aluminium. Great quality plastics. All the joints and moving parts look like they will manage under hard conditions.

This Shark does lack some features compared to the Vax too. The Vax comes with a carpet cleaner. I used that once and found it pointless. The mop head on the Vax is smaller and triangular. That benefits the users when mopping smaller areas and getting into smaller gaps, but ultimately slows down the user when mopping over a large area. The Vax comes with areas to secure the attachments. These slots were next to useless and I soon just kept the attachments in a bag, like I will do with the attachments from the Shark.

One negative I have found is storage solution. It doesn’t freely stand up. You cannot clip it to the wall using a Tommy Clip. The only way would be leaning it against the side or hooking it up using the handle. It wouldn’t put me off but it something to consider.

Overall, this is a powerful, versatile and effective Steam Cleaner. It’s pricier than its competitors but it is easy to see why. The cleaning power is a cut above the rest, its easier to use and achieves better results. If your finances can stretch to this I doubt you’ll regret it.

This steam cleaner is great it is a little bit heavy but to me that adds to the quality rather than it being flimsy .

I love the added feature of the extra steam function you flip the head backwards to get more steam when you need it, but by doing this you have lost the feature of it being able to stand by itself so you have to always lean it against something.

We used it to steam clean our furniture, our old one used to spray water all over things rather than steam, but this one is absolutely brilliant for all the jobs its intended to do and it doesn’t leave your floors really wet, they are pretty much dry straight away and feel so much cleaner.

It does mention in the instructions about a garment steamer but no where does it state you get this with this model.
overall this is a great steam cleaner and you can definitely feel the quality.

As at home, we have hard floors and even after hoovering it does not feel clean enough., we were searching for alternatives of how to clean it. And we came to the conclusion we need a steam mop. And luckily enough we got this Shark steam mop. First of all, it is very easy to assemble, can be done without any instructions. When assembled it feels like a quality built as expected for a price. I could say maybe a bit heavy so there is a possibility arms could get a bit tired if would need clean big area. Another cool thing is you can regulate the amount of steam produced by a mop, which comes in handy if there is a place where need a bit more scrubbing. In tight places, it could be used as handheld steam mop which comes in handy in a bathroom. The tank capacity is quite good so there is no need to refill it all the time as in some other mops. However, I didn’t like you need to be constantly pressing a button when using a handheld steamer. But overall, I could say it is a good product worth the money, which will be useful in every home. I have used several different steam mops over time and this one rates highly against all others, including those that use solutions to aid cleaning. I like the ‘klik ‘n’ flip’ head with the essentially dual sided mop pad and the steam boost function may be useful on occasions. I did need to have the steam on the higher setting to get rid of marks on the floor from cat feeding areas and spilt coffee and I seemed to just leave it on that setting the rest of the time as it is easier than bending down to switch back and forth all of the time.

It comes in a small box and looks like a daunting build, but it isn’t too bad. You need a flat headed screwdriver to attach the handle to the steam body, but the floor tool just clicks into place. The floor pad is already in place so you are ready to do a floor as soon as you have added water. The handheld steamer is simple to remove from the main body and reattachment is equally straightforward.

This model includes a small floor pocket tool to get into tight areas (although the main mop head can be used sideways to get into pretty small places anyway), as well as an accessory hose and concentration, steam blast scrubbing, copper brush and steam crevice tools. There is no garment steamer with this particular model (the instruction manual covers everything so it is a generic guide that suits all cleaners rather than one specifically aimed at just this cleaner).

The floor pad is fantastic and I really appreciate the fact it can be flipped over so both sides can be used. To start with I just used one side until it was dirty and then flipped to the other, but I moved on to continue cleaning with the dirty side and then flipping to go over with the clean, as that prolonged things even more. Two pads are included in the box, which means that’s four times the cleaning power of a single sided pad. It was enough to clean my kitchen and utility room floors, as well as two bathrooms. I could have done more, even though my floors were not clean when I started.

Switching cloths is easy enough, although you do need to unclip the release mechanism so that the pad falls off and then insert four clips into the replacement pad (I needed to use hands to do this as three always went in of their own accord but the fourth needed to be helped). The head then clicks back together and you are ready to clean again. Dirty cloths just go into the washing machine.

There is a jug included in the pack, so you will not overfill the reservoir. It heats up quickly and produces sufficient steam to clean (well) in seconds rather than minutes. It cleans the floor so that you can see it is damp, but the pad is very thick and doesn’t leave it looking like an ice skating rink that has started to melt. It is dry enough to walk on very quickly, so a room isn’t out of action for half an hour as some mops do leave them too wet.

Once complete, unplug and leave it to cool down, the power lead wraps around for easy storage but the tools, spare pads and the jug don’t have any onboard storage or bag provided, so you will need to find somewhere to keep all of the bits. I am using a cloth shopping bag in my cupboard for that purpose.

This is a good steam mop and it cleans floors well using a combination of the double sided pad and steam boost. The handheld option was useful on my cooker and for getting to some mould in the bathroom. I doubt I would use it for garment steaming, but the attachment can be purchased separately if that is something you want (or look at alternative models that include one in the box). This has a 2 year guarantee for peace of mind.

Bought this one to clean the hard flooring. The assembly was a bit pain as the handle couldn’t go in but eventually got there.

It’s easy to use and strong enough to remove stains on the floor. The clean mops would get dirty very soon so I ended up to get another pack of 2 mops.

In summary, it’s very capable of cleaning hard floor in kitchen, hallway, toilet especially you have a little one who makes mess whilst eating.

This is my third steamer and the best yet. Easy to use, tank large enough to do lounge, dining room and kitchen. Plenty of flex. Lots of steam at all times. Mop head really cleans and goes further under furniture than any other I’ve used. Flipping the mop head half way through…..genius. Really pleased with it.

This is the second steam mop that I’ve bought, but the first Shark one. I love it, I have a huge tiled area to clean and the large mop head and the fact that you can flip it and use the other side makes my life easy. I also use it less frequently on my seal oak floors and it’s fine. I thought the pump handle might be a pain but it’s absolutely not. In my opinion go for this cheaper option, you need a few pumps to start the steam and to get the mop damp then the natural mopping motion gives you loads of steam. I live in a very hard water area so I use distilled water in it. I think that if I didn’t it would clog up and stop working – not worth it for the cost of the water.

This is by far the best steam mop we’ve ever had for many reasons;

No trigger to hold as the steam is dispensed by using a natural mopping action.
Jet of steam for tough stains.
Massive surface area on the mop.
Easy to change mop head (no need to touch the dirty wet mop!) and can be reversed to double the cleaning time before washes.

All in all… excellent. I’ll certainly be buying Shark products in the future.

Love this product. Works efficiently and leaves lovely clean floor. Only criticism is awkward to stand up. Need to hang up off floor. Would still highly recommend.
