I like this mic because it has no popping or distortion like some other microphones i have used in the past. I use it for my voice when it is my turn to sing during the jam session and for my guitar when others are singing. The switch is a benefit when I want to play quieter for some of the other members.
I don’t have a sound studio so I wanted a quality midrange mic that sounds great but doesn’t pick up birds singing or cars driving by. I got it on sale and am very happy with this great quality mic.

1st time i got damaged product but after replacement, I surprised for sound quality of this mic.
In comparison to my Shure SM48S microphone, which is a great microphone, especially for the price, the SM58 has a warmer sound. It also didn’t require as much gain to reach the same volume as the SM48S.
I am very pleased with this purchase.
Quality sound from this dynamic microphone. The -57 db output should be better. Some mixers cannot boost that low of an output high enough. It does not fit the included mic holder.

Creo que es uno de los mejores micrfonos en relacin calidad precio si no el mejor.
Un grande classico, non sensibilissimo, ma in genere viene scelto proprio per questo.

Industry standard microphone that feels great in your hand. Wonderful sound quality
It’s always been the microphone to have front and centre for a live band. Reliable, great dynamics, built like a tank, and shows that you mean business. I know there are now other makes of microphones out there that can compete with this but it’s still my favourite.
Would seem to be the go-to microphone as lots of reviews mention whether other microphones are as good as this one for the price. Comes over as being particularly strong and the reproduction of the sound makes it a microphone to recommend.
One minor gripe. The clip provided to attach to a stand was not as good as the one provided with the microphone stand.
Due to the microphones weight you definitely need a sturdy stand.
