This was perfect for my Epson Cinema 3500 projector. The projector is very big and heavy and I needed a sturdy stand to hold it. It doesn’t tilt but it can be adjusted up and down with was perfect for me because my projector screen also can be adjusted up and down. I would recommend this produc

Easily adjustable and the tray is very solid and I have no hesitation using this with my projector or camera.
Even though this is very well made it is lightweight and portable

I’ve actually used this for a projector, a small sound board, and for my laptop. It’s come in handy a few times, and it’s always been sturdy and reliable.

What’s nice about having this stand is that you can easily fold up the legs and put this away when you are finished with it, or to transport it if you are traveling with it. You don’t have to make room on your desk or table for another piece of hardware, and you aren’t stacking boxes to make some sort of impromptu platform. This thing was made for the task, and in my opinion, it’s worth the cost.

My current best uses for me are for running a small sound board I use for my home music set up when I have a couple of guys over to jam. When the grandkids come over, we sometimes set up the projector on it for “movie night.” They love the different set up as opposed to just watching the TV, and this platform has served us well.

I like this SKERELL Projector Stand. The aluminum tripod works well and is sturdy. Then it has an option to use the ball head to mount a camera and camcorder or to mount the tray for the projector. It is pretty sturdy overall and works well. Its height is adjustable up to 48in and a carrying bag is included. For me, this projector stand has worked well, is versatile, and very easy to use and set up.

    Pro:
Gutes Standverhalten (nicht kippelig, nicht wackelig). Sauber verarbeitet (keine scharfen Grate).

I used this a few times for laptop presentations, instead of a podium. Worked well. Versatile equipment.

If you need something that sturdy, I don’t think you can go wrong with it. I received this product as a part of the Amazon Vine program.

I have a phablet and find this is great to use inside and out to get it at the right height for filming and watching and zooming. It is especially handy as it is so stable and nothing wobbles or bounces. I’ve very pleased to have this…I can also see it being good for phones.

This stand has so many uses, personally I use it to hold my projector. Previously I was trying to balance it on various house items to get the right height but this tripod is adjustable and very easy to use. You can feel how sturdy and durable it is from the initial set up, there’s no unsteady feeling when in use. Really good value considering you can use it for different things.

works fine to hold our projector screen for outdoor movie theatre. there is a small screw in the center that makes it not as flat of a surface so the projector sort of wobbles. I just use one of the elastic bands that came with the stand to hold it down.

So we no longer have to stack stuff to get the projector just right.

This is as easy to deploy as any camera tripod, and packs pretty small other the the platform.

The steel platform is big enough to hold our 17″ Laptop, but will hang off about an inch. It also makes a decent TV tray in a pinch.
The tray is stable, but if you grab both sides and trust it will tweak slightly. So test your set up on it before using it in case you have multiple items on it you may need to move them around so it’s not heavy to one corner.

It also has a threaded stud, so if your projector has a threaded insert no need to use the tray.

This has worked excellent for mobie nights while camping or in the back yard, and as a TV tray, or Laptop stand in front of the sofa.

Good quality sturdy product I would recommend to anyone.

    Thank you!

This projector stand one works better than the first one due to so many things.
This projector stand is packed with a durable and metallic plate on top of it, and it is capable enough to handle almost any sort of device on it. With this stand, I along with my friends have tried laptops, projectors, & a couple of cameras. And all those got fitted with it nicely.
It has a decent adjustable height that can be adjusted to up to 4 feet which is a great thing for such a budget tripod to be honest. The ball head also seems to be durable and capable enough to work perfectly with any device.
It is made up of aluminum tubes with a silver coating on top of them. , although we haven’t tried this much nor do we have any plan. Its lightweight design makes it a portable thing.

This stand is sturdy and adjustable, the legs appear stable, which is a necessity for me, since I will be using this outside in the grass. It is expands to the appropriate height needed for my projector. The tray is solid and strong, with a foam mat to pad and a bandaid to hold the projector in place. The feet rotate with the terrain which is great for uneven surfaces. It came well packaged and was very easy to assemble. It’s also portable and lightweight. In all, this was a great find for a good price and exactly what I was looking for.

This is a fantastic tripod for your projector.

Occasionally I have to stay away for work ( not so much in Covid World ) .

When I do, I dont settle for the limited range of TV channels supplied by hotels, oh no.

Instead I hook my projector up to my smartphone and watch my football or movie on an 100 inch plus screen ( usually a blank wall) .

This tripod is quick and easy to set up and you can either screw it onto the base of the projector or if the device is not compatable in that regard, screw on the attached flat plate which any projector can sit on .

This is much much better than rumaging around in the room for books or chairs of the right height and angle to stack your projector on.

Instead this Skerell tripod is fully adjustable and the major impediment to deciding to turn the projector on – the fiddling -is a thing of the past.

    Well worth the investment .

    Summary
Very versatile tripod with projector shelf and camera fitting.

    Size
The tripod extends from a table top mount to a fully floor mounted and solid tripod.

    Ease of use
The legs extend very easily and there is a winding mechanism on the top of the unit for additional height. The whole product, except the projector shelf, folds into a small bag for easy carriage.

Excellent product - light and folds to a compact size.

This multi use stand come packed in a thin fabric zip up case with shoulder strap. Inside is a very hefty solid alloy metal camera head adapter piece should you decide to use that instead of the projector pan. This ball joint feel slight gritty when turned about and I recommend some grease to make it more slick and smooth. The tripod is very sturdy and made from good quality aluminium alloy frame legs and strong ABS plastics in the construction. The tripod weighs pretty much the same as any other medium size tripod and easy to carry around. The legs open up with a central support frame which makes the tripod very sturdy on the ground. There is a winding handle for winding up the height of the tripod which came in handy for lining up my projector to the projector wall cloth. The legs have 3 sections which can each be extended. As you can see in the photos, when it came to the metal screw on parts and joints, the metal parts are very good solid and durable quality.
The projector pan is weighty and very well made and easily holds a projector.
Overall, I am very pleased and impressed with this product which has performed very well for my projector and camera needs.
I think its very good value for money considering the quality of this product.

This is a solid tripod that can be used either with the provided tray or the provided gimbal mount. Unlike a typical tripod, it features a larger size threaded stud and seat that screws securely into the boss in the bottom of the tray, making a sturdy connection that doesn’t wobble at all.

The tray comes with a thin foam pad and an elastic strap, so you can prevent rattles and keep your projector securely mounted. The tray is large enough for most modern projectors.

Adjustments include a crank to raise and lower the top mount and extendable legs. One nice thing about those legs is that you can shorten or lengthen them to level and angle the projector much more easily and extensively than the little leveling feet can. It’s also great for an outdoor setup on a non-level surface.

The crank works fine, and has a separate threaded knob to lock it in position, but when the knob is unscrewed, the tray tends to fall if it’s got some weight on it. Just be prepared to screw that knob in while holding the crank to avoid this minor issue.

The tripod also comes with a gimbal adapter, allowing it to connect to a standard tripod boss on a camera. I really appreciate that…a little perk that doubles the usefulness of this product.

Great combination tripod and projector stand for indoor or outdoor use

I have purchased many tripods over the years, all of which I still own. Some are very good, some are just okay, and one or two leave something(s) to be desired.

But this one – < SKERELL Projector Stand,Universal Laptop Stand,Multi-Function Aluminum Alloy Tripod Stand with Tray and Ball Head,Carry Bag,Adjustable Height from 17-48 inch(Silver) > [ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PY11KGY ] – is almost perfect in every regard.

I own an older LG video projector which mounts on a tripod. The tripod I am currently using is really too good for just using for mounting a projector (it cost much more than does this one). I wanted to use it for my cameras and so, when Amazon Vine offered this relatively low-cost one to me, I thought that I would use it for my projector and that I would take the current tripod and use it for the cameras.

But when this Skerell tripod arrived and I unboxed and examined it, well, no way am I going to use it just for holding a projector! It is so good that I am going to leave that older tripod in place and use this new one for my cameras!

The tray is of excellent design and construction and would easily hold a moderate-sized projector or a laptop computer but, after checking it out, I put it back into its box. I am going to use this tripod just as a tripod.

Its construction quality is superb. Its design is superb including its pan head. And its operation is superb. I have never owned a tripod which functions as easily and as well as this one does (and I own several of tripods which sold for much more money than this one does). When you set something in place, it stays there. When you want to move something, it is easy to do.

In my opinion, for whatever reason or purpose you buy one of these, you will receive far more than what you will expect.

I am obviously extremely pleased with this tripod and I will give it the HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION I can possibly give. I wish Amazon allowed 10 Stars or even more. That’s how good this is in my opinion.

I am sure that, if you buy one, you will be as pleased with it as I am.

Thank you for reading this and for considering what I have written.

I’m really happy with the quality and strength of this tripod. It’s completely dependable for holding my laptop – the tray on top doesn’t flex or move around once in place. The leg height adjusts easily, but once adjusted, it stays put so you don’t have to worry about things tipping over. The bottoms don’t slide around on any surface, even tile. So this is perfectly useful.

I did take off one star – even at the quality of this item, the price seems a bit high for what it is.

The stand itself comes with a carrying bag for portability (picture #1), along with a swappable tray for holding items that don’t have mount points – the product picture is of a laptop, but older projectors might need the optional tray as well (picture #2). If your projector does have a standard mounting screw, though, you can use the smaller ball head (picture #3) to mount the projector directly to the stand. The feet are sturdy and the main pole includes a hand crank to adjust the height quickly. Everything locks into place so that there’s no risk of your expensive projector slipping and falling, either.

Compact, lightweight, and easy to setup out the box. Has a good height range for many different applications. The head is stout and stable, the tray is sufficient for most laptops under 15″. Does a good job of holding its position after adjustment, for reliable hassle free projector setup in any environment. I also use it as a stand for one of the many RC vehicles i own and work on. This product seems to provide good value at the price point. Aluminum construction for medium duty use.

When I first saw the pictures for this stand I was expecting something more like the super cheap mostly plastic build quality tripods I have seen all over Amazon, especially considering the price. I was so pleasantly surprised that this was not the case. The build quality punches way beyond it’s price tag. This is a mostly metal build. Most importantly the legs are all metal including the middle riser bar. Now some of the joints and caps are plastic but all of them are in places where having to have had them made from metal wasn’t necessary to be more sturdy.

There are a lot of nice touches in this kit. The top platform is actually lined in a soft foam so you want harm/scratch/slider around whatever you put on it. They also include a little ball head which again I was surprised to see wasn’t a super cheap (and to be honest) garbage ball heads you see in budget priced kits. The riser bar section actually has a lock down screw so when you use the crack to raise the middle pole it won’t come crashing down when you apply pressure. You can extend this to about 4 feet which is MORE than enough for a gear stand like this. The top platform is just about the perfect size for me easily letting me put either a projector or even a good sized laptop on it.

I have purchased similar gear stands like this from much more well known manufacturers that weren’t as nicely made as this bit of kit. Big kudos to the maker of this stand. They have put together a really nice quality gear stand at a fantastic price.

I was really surprised at the quality!

If you have a small projector and need a stand for it, this is perfect. It has a good range of hieghts, quick lock legs, a padded platform and even a strap to hold your projector onto the platform. It’s hard to find anything wrong with this product. I mean, it’s not professional grade but for the price it does a very nice job if you have a small projector.

There is also a ball head mount which you can use for a camera. This is not a quality ball head and it won’t work well if you have a large lens or a heavy camera. You can always use your own ball head mount, but if you have your own ball head mount you probably have a better, more stable tripod than this.

Note that the ball head is not compatible with the platform. You either attache the ball head OR the platform to the tripod. You cannot put the ball head on the tripod and then expect to put the platform on the ball head. I think that is what one of the critical reviewers tried to do and that is not how this is intended to work.

I am happy with this item and will use it every time I use my mini projector, so I can easily recommend this for that purpose. And at the current price of $50 it won’t break the bank.

I need to be able to trust the stand that’s propping up my laptop/projector, and thankfully this tripod’s heavy-duty construction delivers the goods.

The tripod has a sturdy feel in general, with a confidence-inspiring heft to its weight. The telescoping legs incorporate 1/4-turn locks that feel very secure and don’t slip. The elevator shaft’s locking knob gets the job done, but you do need to ensure that it’s well and fully tightened to support all the weight on top.

The laptop/projector platform uses a strong 3/8″ bolt for attachment to the tripod. The tray’s 1/2″-tall sidewalls can block access to a laptop’s ports/vents, so I’ve placed cardboard under the laptop to provide clearance. The tray I received is very slightly warped, but any flexing is noticeable only when uneven pressure is applied to the corners, so the platform still feels stable enough in regular use.

The bundle is rounded out with a storage bag and ball-joint camera mount adapter, each of which serves its purpose without issue. Overall, this is a well-made tripod, and I have no problem entrusting it with my laptop, projector, or any other device. Recommended.
