The Perfect Garden Light
The Smartwares Solar Wall Light is designed with a modern stainless steel finish and the included LED bulb creates the perfect atmospheric lighting. The light is 117 x 89 x 107 mm has an IP44 protection rating which means it is weatherproof and durable. Solar Powered
The Smartwares Solar Wall Light generates energy using a solar panel. The solar panel is located on top of the light and as a result, the light does not need to be wired or consume any power. It is energy efficient and energy effiecient. The solar panels charge during the day in 5 to 8 hours, even on cloudy days. When fully charged the LED light will operate for approximately 8 hours.
Bulb included
The integrated LED bulb is 0.5W and produces 35 Lumens which can be compared to the light output of an incandescent light bulb with approximately 4 W. The bulb produces produces a warm white colour of 3000k.

Macht was sie soll
Leucht mehr als ausreichend hell. Ob sie die ganze Nacht leuchtet kann man nicht beurteilen, weil man ja irgendwann zu Bett geht. Aber bei ausreichendem Sonnenschein zum laden, leuchtet diese bis weit (!) nach Mitternacht! Man darf nicht vergessen den Hauptschalter auf ON zu stellen. Dazu muss man den unteren Lampenteil abschrauben (ohne Werkzeug). Etwas l auf den vorhanden Gummidichtring verhindert beim anschlieenden zuschrauben dessen verrutschen! Das Aussehen wirkt in keinster Weise billig, das silberne Material ist kein lackiertes Pastik, sondern Metall.

Hatte frueher schon mehrere gleichzeitig gekauft, die waren alle kaltweiss geliefert worden, aber warmweiss angegeben. Kaufte diese Lampe nach und hoffte dass sie wieder kaltweiss ist, leider war das nicht der fall und passt nicht mehr zu den anderen… habe sie trotzdem behalten, da damit ein Stiegenaufgang beleuchtet werden mus…

Does the job
Wanted something to light up the driveway and it does just that. Not the brightest but it’s met my expectations.

When they get full sun they charge up great and give out more light than I expected for several hours but on dull grey days they don’t charge too well so you only get a subtle glow (it’s enough to illuminate my house number but not the entrance)

I chose the version without motion detection because I wanted it to light up as soon as it got dark and not just rely on somebody passing by to trigger the light sensor. It works perfectly and seems to have a very good battery life even when the light conditions are poor. I would definitely recommend this produc

Stylish and cost effective lights.
These look great and look like properly installed electrical lights, not just solar lights. They are so easy to set up and instal. My only complaint would be the bulb would be better a white light, not a warm white. Use in a area that gets all day light and they last nearly all night.

Solar lights are only good in summer so 6 months don’t work total waste of time and money and light is very dim even when thay do work.

Wow such brightness
Had them for 5 months now they are very bright they look fab in my garden they light up so much that they seems to be powered by electric. They stay on till early morning when sun bright days. So far only negativity I have is that I attached on my fences posts and the bracket does not hold the flat to the surface they are a bit wobbly . Want to purchase more but the one available seems similar but not the same shame

Ich habe die Lampe jetzt eine Weile im Betrieb. Wenn das Wetter bedeckt und trbe ist, schafft die Lampe es leider nicht den Akku richtig zu laden. Dann funzelt sie ein bisschen. Ist aber immer noch so hell, das man das Schlsselloch sieht. Ist die richtig aufladen, leuchtet die die ganze Nacht.

Fantastic light, best solar item I have ever bought, stays on even after the dullest day.
Im August 2019 drei Stck gekauft, mittlerweile ist eine der Lampen ausgefallen. Ansonsten bin ich zufrieden, gutes Licht ohne Strom. An sonnigen Tagen leuchten sie bis morgens durch, wohlgemerkt bei Sdausrichtung.
Nachtrag: Die defekte Lampe wurde anstandslos getauscht.
Easy to install
I am really pleased with these lights. I had been looking for a pair of garden lights which would give enough light to be able to sit out on summer evenings but were not so bright that they were like lights on a watchtower !! Also my husband wasn’t keen on dealing with electrical cables so this is a win win. They charged up very quickly on day one and came on at dusk and went off at dawn and at such a bargain price. I didn’t give 5 stars as a teacher once told me “there is always room for improvement!!” 🙂

I bought 4 of these lights, they look great, were easy to install and for the first couple of nights worked perfectly. Unfortunately, one of the lights is no longer working to its maximum compared to others, I have swapped the lights around to see if it was not getting as much sunlight but to no avail. Please can someone contact me with regards to this? Other 3 are working great at the moment and the lights are fantastic value.

Brilliant product! I’m so pleased!! The photos really don’t do it justice. It’s a wonderful bright light, you can read the house number from the bottom of the drive now. I went for the one without motion detection as I wanted to ensure visitors could see the house number at night. It’s perfect. Would definitely recommend and buy again. It’s been up for 2 months now and still working perfectly.

Cheaper than the Truro alternatives
We did have 4 Truro lights that are the similar to these but they are 22+++ so we thought we’d give these a try at 4 x 51.96 and they are absolutely spot on.
They come on at dusk and stay lit til the very early hours, give off a nice light around our Pergola and are way cheaper than the Truro’s they have replaced as they packed in after 4yrs.
I see they are a couple of quid more now but still better value than the dearer Truro’s.

Arrived today ahead of schedule, left them outside to charge all afternoon. Build quality looks good for the price and it seems the AA battery is replaceable. Easy to install and more than met my expectations for lighting. A warm, soft light with a good throw. Have definitely enchanted the kerb appeal of the house and house nameplate to be installed under the left hand light soon. Can not speak for longevity as only installed today but if need to replace every 1-2 years it’s still good value and hardware is in place. Highly recommend.

There is no motion detection, it isgsimply on when it is dark, however that is exactly what I wanted so it is not an issue for me.
It only downfall for me would be it could be a bit brighter, but it’s still effective.
After reading some very mixed reviews about this solar powered light I thought I would take a punt and give it a try. I have a large rear decking area and only limited supply of electricity. However the garden is south facing and the decking has sun on it all day. So far the one light I have purchased works well. I have ordered two more to see how they go and will update this review in a couple of months.
Great light good light temperature good brightness lasts about 4-5 hours
I only give this 4 stars becasue another model with an Eco setting outperforms it for length of on time. Don’t misunderstand this stays on bright for about 4-5 hours then dims. However 5 hours may be satisfactory.
Personally 4-5 hours after it goes dark I don’t usually need them. I have a mix of these and another make that looks similar that stays on almost twice as long becasue it has an ECO setting. So I would advise a mix as these are really bright the other on Eco are not quite as bright but last longer as you would expect if they were not using as much energy.

Had these come through today for down the side of the house where quite dark on the night, brought 2 as thought would need 2 to make it bright enough but 1 would of done they are really bright and the stainless steel finish makes them look premium. One either side of the gate and looks stunning lights the whole area up, the only slight problem I had was getting the tiny screw in the bracket but clutching at straws to fault them. Easy to install look fantastic and do what they should 10/10 ordered 4 more for the back really happy

Used to light house sign in Scotland in the winter time so does not get much sun due to lack of daylight which results in dim and short on time. That being said it does look nice and gives a direct beam as well as a ring light.

I was looking for solar lights that didnt look terrible like many on amazon. These look smart and high quality. They were easy to install with the supplied screws and wall plugs. They are not the brightest, but last a good 5-6 hours.

Unsure why some comments say they only last a couple of hours as mine seem to last for many hours, even on wet and cloudy days!

These are great solar lights. They don’t seem to need much sunlight to charge and give off a nice mellow light at night. Not enough to annoy the neighbors, but enough to stop you falling over the wife’s flower pots!
My only criticism is the fixing. Why put the screws on the side? Why not top and bottom? If you fix then close to a wall, then getting a screw driver in sideway is awkward. The mounting brackets are a bit flimsy but do the job.

Surprising brightness
Very good product, very surprised by the amount of light given off, easily getting between 5/6 hrs from each light even though they are not getting full sun all day,only quibble being a little fiddly fitting the light to the mounting bracket.

J’ai plac 4 lampes de ce type il y a dj 3 ans… mais il y en a une qui venait de lcher. Impossible d’en trouver dans le magasin d’o elles venaient. Mais sur Amazon j’en ai retrouv une et je n’ai pas t oblig d’en acheter par 2. Elles fonctionnent trs bien et longtemps.

Bought this solar wall light to light up our new house number sign. Only just fitted it this morning so the proof of the pudding will be when it gets dark and then see how it looks. I will update a bit later on regarding this.
For the money it really is quite a nice unit….easy to install and comes with raw plugs and screws. I used a 3mm masonry drill to drill the pilot holes and then a 5.5mm masonry bit for the rest.
*TIP*…unscrew the lens and flick the switch to on when you receive the light and leave in daylight to charge up. I placed mine on my bin by the backdoor and when I got home from work the bin was lit up…perfect !!
I will update soon , initial impressions are very good though. I bought the sign from a seller on Amazon too. Both items came to just over 20….low cost solution that looks nice.
*EDIT*…..seemed to charge up ok and the light stayed on into the early hours the first night. Second night it came on very dimly and not long after the light died completely. Not sure if the lamp is getting enough light to charge, will give it another few days and if no better it will have to come down . May have to replace it with a switchable powered light.
Totally happy with these lights. Bought to improve the exterior of my house where i didnt have electricity. Pictures speak for themselves. This was with only a couple of hours daylight (overcast and cloudy). Totally recommend and will purchase more.

I purchased this as I have a very similar lamp by another manufacture. This one only has one setting. As the other manufacturer has two light settings. As I couldn’t get the identical one as previous I purchased this. The stand if product is good in brushed stainless steel. It is easy to use. However I have had it switched off for four days so it can charge the battery. As it’s only one setting for the light now it’s getting darker it doesn’t last as long as my others. It’s quite bright with 3 LED bulbs. I haven’t found if you can replace the battery as yet. I have it fastened to a wall to mark a pathway. I may purchase a PIR for the rest of the pathway as then they won’t be on all the time.
Habe unsere Wand auf der Terrasse saniert und wollte durch eine Beleuchtung die Struktur des Mauerwerks noch etwas hervorheben. Die Montage der Solarleuchte ist kinderleicht. Das Licht ist mehr als ausreichend. Die Lampe leuchtete die ganze Nacht durch. Am nchsten Morgen nach dem ffnen der Rollos leuchtete die Lampe immer noch. Trotz Temperaturen von 0 Grad in der Nacht! Sehr schnes Design. Fr mich eine absolute Kaufempfehlung.
Bright and smart!
Easy to install and a good level of light when solar panel is fully charged. Looks good above my new Perspex house sign. Only slight negative…the inside slightly moved off centre when screwing the bottom on, hope it doesn’t let in water… Anyway overall happy with this purchase for the price!

Precedentemente ne avevo comprato un altro praticamente identico ( in pi aveva il sensore ) ma di un’altra azienda che ha smesso di funzionare praticamente subito al contrario di questo che fa il suo lavoro egregiamente. Certo se durante la giornata il sole scarseggia la luce serale sar pi fioca. (26 settembre 2019)Rettifico a distanza di cos poco tempo decisamente una delusione, allego le foto perch sono pi eloquenti.Non lo consiglio assolutamente.

Die Leuchten sehen optisch nett aus und die Verarbeitung ist gut.
Leider laden einige nach lngere Zeit im Eisatz nicht mehr richtig auf.
Wir haben bereits zwei dieser Lampen seit 5 Jahren im Einsatz und sie sehen nicht nur Optisch sondern bringen auch gut Licht. Verbaut sind Sie auf der Nordseite wo ab Mittag keine Sonne mehr vorhanden ist was sicherlich nicht von Vorteil ist aber Sie leuchten trotzdem lange. Die Lampen haben Rost Erscheinungen sehen selbst nach 5 Jahren wie am ersten Tag aus. Der Akku selber hat kaum Verluste
…sind die Smartwares-Leuchten allemal wert. Habe diese gekauft, um unseren Sichtschutz zu beleuchten.
Insgesamt machen die Leuchten einen wertigen Eindruck, die Verarbeitung ist gut. Wer aber sein Augenmerk auf absolute Genauigkeit legt, wird etwas enttuscht. Die Solareinheit ist bei beiden Leuchten nicht exakt in das Edelstahlgehuse eingearbeitet, sodass dieses ein wenig bersteht und einen Spalt bildet. Im Laufe der Zeit wird sich zeigen, ob an dieser Stelle eine Undichtigkeit entsteht und Wasser in das Modul eindringt.
Die LED erzeugt unaufdringliches, kaltweies Licht, welches um einiges heller ist, als das von billigen Baumarktfunzeln. ber die Leuchtdauer kann ich keine Aussage treffen.
Ergnzung 1: Nach knapp einem Jahr nun ein Fazit zur Leuchtdauer. Bei ausreichender Sonneneinstrahlung wird der angegebene Wert von bis zu acht Stunden fast erreicht, soll heien, im Morgengrauen leuchten die Lampen noch. Im Winter ist die Leuchtdauer natrlich verkrzt, die Funktion ist aber dennoch gegeben.
Ergnzung 2: Zwei Jahre sind nun verstrichen, die Akkus halten noch gut durch. Leider stellte sich nun ein optischer Makel ein. Die Solareinheit wird von einer weien, nicht entfernbaren Schicht bedeckt. Ob dies die Aufladung der Akkus negativ beeinflusst, wird sich zeigen. Sieht leider nicht sehr schn aus.
Update: Ich habe 2018 noch zwei dieser Leuchten bestellt. Leider ist im August 2019 eine davon defekt gegangen, vermutlich ist die Solareinheit ausgefallen. Der Austausch klappte reibungslos, jedoch stellt man diese Leuchten nur noch mit warmweien LED her, so die Verkuferangabe. Wer also mehrere kaltweie LED hat, steht am Ende dumm da.
von der Optik modern und schlicht genau wie abgebildet. Das eine Solarleuchte dank LED so eine Leuchtkraft hat htte ich nie erwartet, bin angenehm berrascht. Kann den Artikel nur empfehlen.
