Very pleased with these. Used to light an extremely dark path and area to the front door.
They work extremely well and light up everywhere very brightly even on the normal (not lowest, not highest) setting.
The lead is long enough to position the solar panel in the sunniest spots ntop of the garage roof.
They are only used as an entry / exit to the house at night, so they have never ran out of charge on me to date.
The lights are easily adjustable to brighten various areas evenly.
    A good quality product also.

They dont come on over every move of a bush in the wind either, (work perfectly for people and animals) which is perfect to not annoy neighbours.

So happy with them I purchased 2 in the end for front and back.

Having brought a number of solar lights which either are not very bright or don’t last very long, I thought I would give this a try, based on other reviews. I have the lights installed between my house and garage, with the solar charger on the back of my house, which has the most sunlight. I have found the lights very bright, the sensor is excellent for picking up movement and it easily lasts all night, although I only have it set to come on when detecting movement, as there are 3 different levels which can be set. Will be buying more.

I like the design of this BLEWANDY Solar Security Light, the solar panel is not attached to the light, so I can install the solar panel away from the lamp where I can get decent sunlight. I also like that the LEDs are not only on one side; they are on three sides to have more coverage.

Installation was pretty easy; it comes with everything you need to install. The sensor works very well; It picks up the movement very quickly. The brightness is also decent. I also like that this comes with the remote control; it makes it easier to control the modes.

However, my only niggle is that the light stays lit up for just 20 seconds, which is not long enough for me. My other lamp stay lit up for about 30 second, which is good enough for me when I want to grab something from the garden at night. This is my personal preference, though.

The build quality is pretty decent; it seems sturdy and offers good value for money. So far, it’s working well for me on these sunny days; I hope it will work well in cloudy winter weather too.

I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

Security lights with motion detection sensor is a must for every house as it provides the best deterrent to unwanted trespassers. Solar technology is so good now that these can function purely on the solar charging panel they come with. It saves on the hassle and expense of external electrical wiring. It took me half an hour to instal and all I needed was a drill and a screwdriver. It’s intelligent sensor means that it only comes on after dusk and saves power for when it’s dark out. Motion detection is excellent. The system comes with a remote control to change brightness mode which you can also do manually with a button on the casing.

    Very happy with it.

    Great design & versatility

The solar panel and the lights are supplied with a remote control, instructions and a bag of wall-plugs and fixing screws. The solar panel and the lights are intended to be mounted separate from each other, (some other lights mount the solar panel above the lights on a common mounting plate, this isn’t the case here). The solar panel has a generous 5m of cable, terminated in a right-angle plug that plugs into the lights. The solar panel has a mounting plate that can be turned through 90 degrees for a horizontal or vertical mounting; the mounting plate on the lights is fixed as horizontal although the mounting plate is removable so it can be fixed into place and then the lights slotted in. There are 3 modes selectable by a pushbutton on the lights or by using the remote, we use mode 1 so that when the lights are triggered in darkness the lights remain on at full power for 20 seconds before going out. The lights are bright, the movement sensor works well and the solar panel is effective, these are good lights.

    Good performing solar security lights

Daughter has an old security light on her back wall, but needs attention and probably rewiring, which we don’t really want to get into. This is a much better, simpler option. It can be placed almost anywhere, independent of the solar panel. Because her wall us south facing it is going to get full sun, so should be no problems with charging in our case. It’s plenty bright enough, and we’ll have it set to only come on when it senses motion so should last the night, even in winter.

A good product at a great price.

I ordered these solar security lights to fit on my garage.

Arrived tightly packed inside small branded box.

Flexible 3 piece security lights with solar panel split from the actual LED display.

Easy to fit, able to find best location for solar panel to get best light and then feed attached cable to LED spot lights to where you need them.

Comes with a remote control that gives you ability to change modes if you can’t reach touch buttons, for me I already have too many remotes so not keeping this one I think.

Other modes are available are constant DIm light which then illuminates fully with motion detected or third option is full on at medium beam. On sensor mode this solar powered security light has never not come on and shines bright as soon as there is motion 100% for the time.

Overall, Solar powered security lights as good if not better than main powered options.

    I would recommend this product.

Well I have finally got around to putting this item up on the fascia board overlooking the back entrance of our garage. I was surprised how light this kit is and that was my main reason for attaching to the UPVC work. I hate to have to go to the trouble of drilling into brickwork and using rawl plugs etc. No this os a simple case of screwing two holes into the UPVC for the detachable plastic bracket that the apparatus holing the three LED sets of lights just slides into. All it takes is a little bit of pressure and when the screw takes hold it’s up and working within a couple of minutes. Just remember to press the small rubber button on the light apparatus before sliding into the wall/ UPVC mount and also insert the wire connector into the rubber covered female hole which should be underneath if you attach it horizontally. You could arrange the lights vertically but then the connector is side up and it is possible for water to then get in to the connecting hole. Now you have lots of wire attached to the quite large solar panel which we have screwed lightly into the garden fence. There is no detachable mount on the solar panel as the panel can be angled to one side to screw in the screws. It’s an easy no faff job all around. It took a total of less than five minutes to decide where to put the two items, the solar panel and the lights themselves. Now accompanying this set of lights is a small remote control which has ‘on’ ‘off’ buttons and three buttons for three modes. The three modes are bright lights only when sensor detects movement, low lights on all the time it is dark, and medium bright lights on all the time it’s dark. I have set them for bright on detection of motion as it saves the solar panel energy stored, although it says that the power lasts a week. Now I was surprised at how bright these lights were straight out of the box! OK. they were exposed to a short time in light, but not bright sunshine as it is a dull day. The lights operate well with the remote operated directly in front of the lights although it can be a case of hit and miss at a slight angle. When the remote is pressed the change is instant. Initially I was a bit disappointed with the area of the light covered but then I thought it can be a very wide angle and it is only designed to cover an entrance not an entire garden. I reckon it covers about eight feet in front and of course the angle of direction of the three lights is adjustable up and down. The two smaller outer LED sets of lights can be angled outwards, we have only one angled outwards as it then covers the edge of our french door steps, so now we can cover the entrance of the garage and steps and makes going out at night into the garage so much easier. The great thing is we can adjust the amount of light emitted and and it will only come on when the sensor senses motion. For 21.99 it’s a great set of lights with fittings made from robust black plastic with 112 LEDs. The sensor detects up to I would say about 10 feet. 5 stars.

A great set of lights, light in weight, robust yet easy to set up. Wide arc of light over the garage

The lead is long enough between the solar panel and light so that you can easily place the panel in a sunny spot and secure the light someplace where you wouldn’t be able to if the panel sat on top of the light.

Love how versatile the light angle options are, the larger centre light can be moved up and down, whilst the two side lights swivel independently, so you can have all 3 facing different directions if you wish. For the size, it gives off a decent amount of light, the remote comes in handy too.

    Brilliant lights.
    Respond really well to movement..
They can be attached with screws.
Gives a really nice bright amount of light, enough to use as a security light, and bright enough for me to be able to find my keys in the dark.
Charges well, even in this February rain !

Lightweight three faced light with large solar panel.

This is a good design, with a separate solar panel that can be positioned away from the light, where it can get the best sunlight. Needs just two screws (supplied) to fix.

Lamp has three fully posable LED panels than can cover a large area. Really bright and charges fully even in the winter months.

Single button to set the mode (on low, on low and bright when motion detected, or only on when motion detected).

Take care positioning the panel, it may be in enough light to not come on, when the lamp is actually in a darker area that needed light. In that case you can use the small remote instead. It allows you to set the mode or just control it, which means the lamp can be positioned out of reach yet still maintained.

    Very bright. Charges quickly.

I like the design of this solar light as it has three lamps which give a better coverage, smaller than I was expecting but I did not really want a large light so this is just the right size for my needs, it has a few functions but the only one I will use is the on when motion is detected, I have tested that out and it works well, I have a couple of solar power motion sensor lights around my house but those have the solar panel on top of the light which means the light works at it best when in a sunny position so it can get the sun to charge, if put in a shady area like the side of the house or under trees the panel might not get enough light and not charge the battery enough, but with this the solar panel is separate and connected via a long cable so the light can be placed in a shady spot or even inside a porch as long as the panel is fixed where it can get the sun, there is a downside to a long cable though and that is if you don’t need to position the solar panel far from the lamp then you have a big roll of cable to hide unless you are good with wires and can shorten it.
A great light that has many options for placement gives plenty of light and does not cost anything to run.

Having solar lights is great unless you need to have the leds actually be in a covered spot and the panel won’t catch any rays

    This light solves that problem

We have a covered drive bay and I didn’t want to run mains cabling to the outside

This can be hooked up under the eaves and light the area under there whilst the solar panel has been stuck to the upper side

    Problem solved

There are also sufficient leds on the array that you can spread them out to cover all the spots as well as a sensor to detect motion

Finally it comes with a remote so you can adjust the settings without having to clamber up and down ladders to do so

I really liked this solar security light as it stood
Up to a bit of a beating before it was even installed! I managed to drop it on garden step and twice it fell off the roof of the chicken coop that I put it on top off to charge before I installed it. Drops aside it is well made and the sensor detects movement really well. The three panels give a bit of control over the light spread although given how wide angle the light is anyway it doesn’t make much of a difference (not a negative as the light is quite bright for its size and spreads out well to give good coverage)
For anyone who needs a floodlight but no access to power or no will to run cables this may be your answer to the problem at a reasonable price

Solar Security Lights, 112LED Motion Sensor

I was keen to receive this as I have the perfect place to mount it. We have some garden steps which really are quite dangerous in the dark, they are too far to place a mains powered light, so a solar light is our best option. The biggest problem is the steps are North facing so they do not receive any sunlight. This security light will be ideal as the solar panel is not mounted on the light unit itself, instead the solar panel is a separate unit with a long 5 metre cable attached to it. This will enable me to mount the solar panel on the roof for maximum daylight exposure, with the cable trailing down the wall to the security light.

The light itself is supplied complete with fixing kit for attaching this to a wall. Once mounted it can be rotated up or down for the optimal angle. What I particularly like is that there is an additional LED panel either side of the main LED panel, these too can be rotated so the light will provide full coverage.

I was pleased to find a small remote control that will allow me to switch the light on or off to help preserve the battery, it also allows for 3 different modes of lighting, some brighter than others.

The build quality appears to be good being made from what looks like tough indestructible plastic. The LED panels, movement detection window, switch, etc all seem well sealed and unlikely to be affected by adverse weather.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this!

These are well made and should last well. They are so easy to install. Just decide on location. The solar panel needs sunlight. Once decided, screw into place. I have placed mine on my front wall which attracts a lot of sunshine. Then screw the lights into place. The lights can be some distance from the solar panel because of a good length of cable. Simple decide where and screw into place and plug the cable in. I have placed my lights in my car port. The motion detector works well and the light is bright and works well and lights up my car port well. Good simple well made way of providing some security for a dark area of your yard or garden or car port or wherever without wiring in and without adding to your electrical bill. Well pleased.

These solar security lights are smaller than expected, quite discrete, however they provide adequate light.
They are easy to install, and the solar power was the attraction for us due to not having to set up electrical wires outside contacted to the mains power.
They are ideal to light a pathway, or above a garage and quite straight forward to fix to a wall or surface.
Motion sensor is not overly sensitive but it will track a person walking by, even a cat but nothing smaller.
There is a remote control to set them up how you wish, and three different options, a permanently on at at dusk, and a dimmer and brighter motion detection which will turn on the lights.
The lights arrived very well packaged, in a compact cardboard box.

The pack comes with solar panel, 3-module light unit assembled, remote control, wall plugs, screws and instructions. The light comes partially charged and will work straight out of the box. If you are looking for the switch on the light unit, it is the small white plastic part near the power inlet on the back.

The side lights each have 32 LEDs, and 48 LEDs in the central light for 112 LEDs in total. The solar panel can be positioned as required and in the UK 35 degrees facing south would be a good compromise if the panel is in full sun.

I really like that this unit has 3 light modules that can all be independently positioned. Use this for example to light a side garden gate with garden path. Illumination is bright white and a good intensity.
Modes allow the lights to be left on permanently, or use the PIR detector to sense movement. The light will switch off quickly when changing modes in the daylight.

Install the unit so that the power connector is on the bottom to prevent rain entering the unit. There is a good length of wire between the solar panel and the lights to allow for the solar panel to be positioned in a good spot to catch the sun.

I positioned the light about 10 feet from the ground, or out of arms reach. Use a masonry drill to create holes for the wall plugs. I first drilled a pilot hole with a smaller drill bit using the mounting plate as a template. Secure the wall plate to the wall with the screws provided. The mounting seems quite secure. Do a similar thing with the solar panel in the desired position. It is a little more difficult as the mount is attached to the panel, but you should be able to make marks with a pencil using the panel base as a template. I pinned the wire to the wall with very small cable clips. The excess wire was wound around the base of the lights before plugging in.

I positioned the light at about 10 degrees off vertical almost straight down. The light works very well, detecting a person as soon as they enter the passage at the side of the house and illuminates the whole path right up to the gate.

Use the remote control to change mode or turn on/off if it is positioned out of reach.

Useful set of multi-position lights, bright and easy to install
