The Burg Wachter 110mm combination locking bolt is suitable for use on gates, sheds, doors and cupboards. This award winning product can be fixed in either a horizontal or vertical position. It is supplied complete with Anti-tamper security screws and has a corrosion resistant die-cast body. There are no keys to lose as the Locking bolt features a 4-dial combination lock with 10,000 re-settable combinations. The unique “0-0-0-0” auto stop feature makes it easier to open in poor light.

Had these fitted around 2 years now and they have really withstood the weather good i do grease them up every so often but they run nice and smooth not sure on security because no one will dear come near my home as i will eat their arms.
Looks good, feels sturdy. Has it installed for around a week now and no rust but only time will tell.
Dials are easy to turn and they don’t rewind past 0 so you can find the numbers easily in the dark.
Screws are anti tampering meaning you can turn them in but can’t turn them out.
So be careful where to install them as once they are in that’s it!
Good lock, would highly recommend. I have no major concerns. Only issue I have had is changing the combination. Other than that, I think it does the job and you get what you paid for.
Got this to keep the kids out of my home office, does the job perfectly.
An excellent product, very solid and looks great. The only criticism I would have though is the screws that are supplied with the product. They are very unusual and difficult to screw in as they don’t correspond to normal screwdrivers.
I like this combination lock as you don’t have to worry about keys.

We are a month in on this and so far so good. Did not use the anti tamper screws as we don’t have anti tamper on the hinges so would be pointless and would rather un screw this than cut it off in the event of failure
Bought 3 of these for my outbuildings. The work perfectly. Easy to fit and setup and 6mths later still going strong.

Love this lock, very sturdy and easy to fix onto the outside gate.
The combination works a charm from keeping my little minions from escaping my back yard and causing havoc in the neighbour or trying to feed ice cream to the horses in the nearby field.
It doesn’t however stop people from scaling my fence and stealing a children’s bike, which I recently discovered…..however this is not the locks fault as it’s not meant to be a force field to stop cretins from pinching stuff.
Ten out of ten, would def recommend and maybe some cctv to catch any thieves xx
I did not expect much when I got this, however as soon as the delivery driver handed me the box I could feel the weight and thought there may be something else in there. I opened it and nope, all that was in the box was this lock and a bit of packing paper. As soon as I took it out I could see the quality and was well impressed, easy to fit, comes with security screws, code can be changed to whatever you like. Recommended.
It’s a good product but The annoying issue was the screws as they would only turn in and not out for obvious reasons it was quite difficult to screw the lock onto my gate

Great idea and a solid item. Bored kids seem to gravitate to biscuits like (biscuit loving) piranhas. This is an ideal way to (a) save them from their sugar addiction and (b) keep stocks at a reasonable level so that the adults can enjoy some of the sweet items with a nice cup of tea without having to make do with the broken, half bitten remnants.
Should also come in handy when hiding Christmas presents.
I had read mixed reviews so I gave it a good blast of spray grease before I installed it, after about two months it still looks like new and works as it should.
This is a high quality product and the seller has been extremely helpful, during these unprecedented times.

Good product but make a mistake and you’ve fitted it and you’re stuck having to cut it off your walls because once on you can’t remove it. That also means you can’t change the code because installation is permanent due to the type of screws they give you. They are good in that they’re not tamper proof but very awkward for regular code changes and/or if something goes wrong with the code as happened to one of ours.

Once you get the lock – At the back of the lock, there are 2 small screws. Unscrew them and spray the whole thing with plenty of WD40. Put the screws back in and tighten. This should help protect the lock.
Fitting the lock was easy, I was replacing an existing bolt lock so I just simply screwed in. The lock comes with 6 anti tamper screws – I would recommend using 2 normal screws in each opposite corner first, trying the lock to make sure it fits. If yes, screw in the 2 anti tamper screws in the other opposite corners, unscrew the normal screws and replace with the anti tamper. This will help keep the lock aligned to the original setting.
Once the anti tamper screws are in, there’s no unscrewing!
Lock works great for me, easy and smooth opening, the numbers turn fine – they turn one way for me.

Had this on the outside of my garage pedestrian door for three years, used multiple times daily, still works perfectly in all weather conditions. I find an occasional squirt of WD40 and a wipe seems to keep it in good order.
Only problem I have is that it is screwed into wooden door and frame and I now want one for my metal driveway gates but don’t know how to attach it. Any ideas?
What a great product. Every time I use it I think what a brilliant idea. Easy to fit and easy to use. Your life needs one. Buy it.
Use this to secure the understairs cabinet so keys are not needed.
The only issue is that the screws are on the surface so the whole lock is easilly removable which makes this insecure and partially defeats the purpose. I wonder if there is any way to deal with exposed screws other than filling them in with epoxy.
Does what it’s meant to but does become hard to use after awhile and needed maintenance
Nice easy to install product I use it on cupboards/the loft I want to keep locked when I rent out my home. If someone was being malicious they could just unscrew it but otherwise sturdy. Only design flow is that the slider on the bolt does not fold back flush so it is always sticking out – not been a problem for me so far but I wouldn’t put it somewhere a person might catch themselves on it.
It worked! Have now for 2 months. My expensive bike is safe now

Das Schloss habe ich fr die Tre unserer “Auen-Sauna” montiert. Ich mchte nicht feststellen das sich ungebetene Gste in untererer Sauna ein Pltzchen zum bernachten suchen. Das anbringen und das einstellen der Zahlenfolge ist einfach. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist zwar in Englisch, aber mit ein bisschen Sachkenntnis kein Problem. Aber Vorsicht! Montiert ist Montiert! Die mitgelieferten Schrauben lassen das Schloss hngen, wo es montiert ist. Ohne Bohrmaschine oder Flex ist da nichts zu machen ……sollte man die Kombination vergessen haben.

Item works well and it is easy to set code. Screws are good as once in you can’t simply unscrew them making the item more secure. However it is hard to screw them in initially and ensure he lock is tight to the surface it is located on.
Wir benutzen es um eine Tr zustzlich zu sichern. Man kann es z.B. recht hoch anbringen und so verhindern das Kinder dran kommen. Es sieht wertig aus und fhlt sich such schwer an. Es hakelt absolut nicht und rutscht gut hin und her. Es ist sehr einfach zu montieren, Befestigungsmaterial liegt bereits bei. Die Schrauben sind so konzipiert das man sie nur einmal festziehen kann und dann nicht mehr lsen kann ohne sie zu zerstren. Gute Idee.
A solid 5 Stars for this basic combination lock… Its well made and while not a security grade lock, its more than adequate to secure a private cupboard or room.

bought this as a secondary lock on outside of gate to allow inside lock to be left open and still be secure when we are out. so far very happy with fitting and use of lock. will have to see how it preforms over the winter.

Usato per chiudere una persiana in alluminio dall’esterno per non far uscire il gatto di nascosto e per non far entrare insetti quando prendo il sole sul terrazzo, si subito dimostrata solida e funzionale.

Ich habe diese riegel an meinen hundeboxen im auto, so dass man auch die Tren offen lassen kann und garantiert niemand die box ffnet. Die Probleme mit dem knacken kann ich leider nicht besttigen. Ich habe ein Schloss verstellt und bekomm es nicht mehr geffnet. Da die schlsser in Wahrheit von Burgwchter sind, habe ich die Hoffnung gehabt das diese das schlo ffnen knnen. Keine Chance. Auch das unten gepostete Video vom schlo knacken ist totaler unsinn. Die zahlen knacken bei null immer. Netter Versuch aber 🙂 die person darf sich gerne an meinem schlo versuchen. Ich kann das schlo wirklich weiterempfehlen. Wenn das zu ist, bleibt es zu.
Note that I had quite a bit of trouble removing the former one as is required drilling out the top of these screws.

Not sure about quality,they look and feel good and solid. The problem I’ve had is one of them got locked and i was unable to unlock it. I had to use a lump hammer to get in my room. The second one is fine.

Fitted to out garden gate. Easy to set the code and install. Drilled pilot holes to make screwing in easier. Make sure you have a good flat head screw drive
Can’t fault it.
I use this to secure a control unit to keep little fingers out. It’s heavy and feels real good quality, I have had no problems and it was easy as pie to fit.
Great for my purpose, however I don’t think I would secure something of any value with it.
P.S – I am not a product ‘tester’ and paid full price for this item!

Just the ticket for locking my garden shed. Didn’t like the security screws it came with, as I was worried I might never be able to remove it, so I used normal ones. Not that high a risk zone in my back garden!

It’s been on there 6-8 months now and still looks & feels new, so I’d say it’s weather proof.

Sicherheitsschrauben sind mit dabei … diese knnen reingeschraubt, aber nicht wieder zurckgeschraubt werden. Da es das Schloss nicht in weiss gab, habe ich dieses umlackiert. Die Funktion ist einwandfrei. Der Zahlencode ist frei whlbar.
Ideal for what I wanted. Pays to read the instructions. Make sure the doors are in their final position before fitting lock. Very pleased.

Excellent compact and sturdy lock for a garden shed. Have used ordinary screws in some positions as the ones supplied were quite long. Very good value for money.
Was delivered on time and is as advertised, this is to keep my grandchildren out of a cupboard filled with presents so wont get a lot of hard wear. It looks and feels a good lock.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. Just installed and seems well made and robust. Only a small bolt but ideal for low to medium security.
Habe dieses Schloss an die Tr des Dachbodens befestigt, ich habe in dieser Kammer nichts drin das Klauenswert wre, aber sind eben Sachen drin, die schon noch gerne htte, es soll einfach den Gelegenheit’s Dieb fern halten, und das tut es auch!
Der Hersteller gibt die Sicherheitsstufe 3 vor, und dem kann ich Zustimmen!
Die Zahlen sind leichtgngig, die Code Vernderung ist ber einen “Verdeckten” Bereich vernderbar, einfach eine Broklammer einstecken und gut, der Bereich ist nur verdeckt wenn die Tr zu ist.
Diese beigefgten Schrauben habe ich weg gelassen, ich habe SPAX Schrauben mit Sternkopf genommen, hat nicht jeder, und da der Zugang mit einer weiteren Tr verschlossen ist, mache ich mir da auch kein weiteren Kopf!
Wre der Raum zugnglicher, htte ich Schlossschrauben genommen.
Wrde das Schloss wieder Kaufen, mir gefllt es, erfllt sein Zweck!
Ich habe beide Schlsser zur Sicherung der Fahrerhaustren von innen montiert.Die Schlsser sind leichtgngig , stabil und passen gut in den Rahmen.
Da ich nicht noch einen Schlssel dazu haben wollte, war die Veriegelung mit Zahlenkombination toll.
Beide Schlsser habe ich auf die gleiche Kombination eingestellt.
Nun kann ich die Fahrerhaus Kabine , schnell sichern und bentige ca. 2min um wieder alles zu ffnen.
Ein toller Artikel , der nicht so schnell wie blich geliefert wurde.Das hngt aber damit zusammen , das die Ware aus
UK kommt.
Ich kann das Schloss jedem weiter empfehlen , der hnlichen Schutz einbauen mchte.
Die Befestigung wird mit Schrauben vorgenommen , die sich nicht rausdrehen lassen.
Diese sind der Lieferung beigelegt.Tolle Ware , bin begeistert.
falls es nicht ganz so sicher sein muss, (oder man Angst hat, dass sich die Tr noch verzieht) lassen sich auch normale Schrauben verwenden.
