    Thick mattress and soft too!!
This is one thick spring mattress. I am really impressed with the quality and comfort this mattress provides. The size is 90 cm by 190 cm for the single mattress. It fits perfectly. And for the price it’s a really great deal. I don’t even have to place a mattress topper anymore as the mattress itself is soft enough.

Premium quality. Comfortable and nicely firm
This is truly a premium quality mattress. I ordered it to replace my daughter’s big branded one and she couldn’t be happier with it.

Surprisingly, it arrived in quite a small box, vacuum sealed inside. Despite this it easily unrolled and is perfectly shaped thereafter.

This is extremely comfortable. The extra layer of sponge padding really improves the feel over a standard mattress, however it still retains a good shape and firmness.

This might not be the cheapest mattress, but it’s excellent value for what you get. I can definitely recommend it. It’s definitely of the quality that you would often pay at least twice the price for from as big manufacturer.

Really good UK made spring / foam hybrid mattress
Got a single bed? Need a new mattress?

This is the Summerby Sleep No.2 Spring and Envirifoam Box Top Hybrid Mattress, measures 90 x 18 x 190cm.

This mattress is not memory foam, nor is it fully springed. This has 2/3s springs and 1/3 envirofoam with a soft knitted cover, which will keep you both warm and cool. This is UK made and is fully British Standards compliant with BS7177.
We put this on my daughters bed and didn’t tell her, she went to bed, and then yelled down. I went up and she asked what I had done to her bed ha. She was very happy. Soon she is moving up to a double and my youngest is having a cabin bed and this. I am going to buy a double mattress the same model.
I’m amazed at the price, and the memory foam or envirofoam are the same.

Overall I’d thoroughly recommend this mattress, as it has enough spring but with a real decent layer of memory foam. Right off to test it myself Zzzzzzz

Bouncy but fine as spare child's bed
The saying you get what you pay for is generally the case here. The mattress arrives plastic rolled in a box it springs open easily and didn’t expand any more after a few minutes. I would say medium is about right for this mattress especially for a child with lower weight. The mattress is very springy, you can’t feel the springs through the foam top. Whilst you can compress the mattress by hand it doesn’t compress as easily when lying on it as weight is more distributed. Stitching and build quality Is as you would expect for the price.

This mattress is fine on a spare bed or for a child due to lower weight, it’s not the type of mattress you would get in a double/king to share it as like an air bed when one person moves the other would bounce around. Rating is based on the price, and as a cheap child’s mattress or spare room, otherwise it’s probably better to spend more if it’s for regular use.

    Not bad
This mattress is alright not the best that’s for sure but it would be fine to a guests room. It’s currently 94.99, not bad but me personally I would spend a bit more and would get a memory foam mattress instead, it’s definitely more comfortable.

Comfortable as a spare bed matress.
I left this mattress for a day before trying it. I found it a bit to soft for me but for a child or a light person it is perfect. Being larger than average I sank into it to much, I prefer a firm thick memory foam mattress, this one is quite thin and is foam not memory foam.. I will be using it in the spare room.

Summerby Sleep Spring and Envirofoam® Box Top Hybrid Mattress Single: 90 cm x 190 cm ( not too tall)
Summerby Sleep No2. Spring and Envirofoam Box Top Hybrid Mattress | Single: 90 cm x 190 cm
Comfortable and stable mattress that stays firm and doesn’t lose firmness.
It’s very soft to touch and feel, making sure to use the right side up that is more bouncy and thicker than the bottom.
I find it however a bit slim, I was expecting it to be taller. So in a normal bed height the bed will feel low.
It comes boxed and when it came it sort of was bent on one side of the mattress. That seems to have gone in time. It’s also recommended to leave it out extended for a day or so after unboxing for it to shape up and gradually grow. It didn’t really grow much afterwards in my case.
    A good mattress in general

    Fine as a spare
This is quite thin compared to our other mattresses but it’s fine for occasional use. We are planning to use it on the trundle bed for occasional overnight guests and for that it will be fine. The smell dissipated quickly.

No 2 spring and envirofoam mattress
I thought this was going to be terrible but I realised there are reviews for 2 mattresses going on here. It seems that the type 1 isn’t good but I received the type 2 which is spring and envirofoam. It seems much better than before.

This one is more springy than I’m used to but it’s only going on a single spare bed anyway. The foam over the springs gives it some comfort and it would be good for a childs bed or the spare room.
I like a firm mattress with a soft mattress topper so it depends what kind you like. This would equally be good with a matress topper.
I’m not sure of the price because they’re currently out of stock so I can’t say about value.

    Really good value for money
I got this for my son’s bed. At 100 I wasn’t expecting too much but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s very comfortable (I spend about 3-4 hours a night in with him at least 3 times a week) and it’s not too hot, I can’t stand the memory foam mattresses as they’re far too hot. I’m not sure how it will stand up to prolonged use but I’ve had this for a few weeks now and I’m very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGood coil and foam combination mattress
This is a good combination mattress within the medium price range category. I’ve been using this on a single bed, and it has a height of 18cm. It is low enough to easily cover with a mattress topper for additional comfort and spillage protection.

    Pros

    * The mattress arrived very tightly vacuum packed and was easy to transport across the house and between stairs.

    * The mattress is a combination of steel springs and foam. The tempered steel coils are very supportive and can withstand sudden moments and turns, while the foam covering offers further support and insulation. This is an excellent combination, allowing the benefits of both coil-based and foam-based mattresses.

    Cons

    * The cover is non removable and therefore cannot easily be removed for a quick wash to remove dust or stains. It is highly recommended to use a mattress protector due to this.

    * The mattress has a height of only 18cm which is thinner than the average mattress. The thickness may be an issue for very tall beds or heavier individuals.

Overall, I would recommend this item for buyers looking for a mattress for younger adults, children or guest bedrooms as it offers a combination of the benefits between a spring based and foam based mattress. However, the mattress may not be tall enough for every sleeper.

    Good Sleep...
Such an amazing mattress! Much better than what I was expecting. The mattress is super comfortable, is quite firm but has a soft top layer which gives great comfort. A full body support mattress, fits my daughter bed perfectly ( as seen on my picture) and has helped her sleep much better compared to her previous mattress. The cover is also incredibly soft and knitted great. Also, good to know that this particular product is environmentally friendly — as stated made of Envirofoam. For the price, it’s a steal, the product seems like it will last a long time.I’d highly recommend it for anyone that wants a good night seep and wants to wake up feeling refreshed.

    Genuinely brilliant mattress!!
    Genuinely brilliant mattress!!

This is the one of the best buys I have had for my home – I am so glad I bought this for my daughter! It has a nice medium feel to the mattress with just the right amount of cushioning and support. I will definitely be buying a double for myself. The mattress was delivered super quick and in a tiny box. It took around a day to come back to full shape but felt great from the start. Also impressed that this mattress is more environmentally friendly! An all round brilliant buy.
