Women’s jewelry — especially necklaces — generally feature delicate chains that improbably hold impressive pendants. If you’re going to spend more than 100 bucks on a necklace like this one, you want to have the confidence the chain won’t break (which usually isn’t valuable) and lose the actual jewel (which is valuable).
This Swarovski necklace is a good investment. Many necklaces have a single, top-placed eyelet, which puts enormous stress on that connection that can lead to breakage. The Swarovski chain is pretty basic, but it is attached via eyelets to two sides of the pendant distributing the weight and making this a more durable piece.
Two years after receiving it, and after daily wearing, this beautiful necklace is still looking good and holding up. Price is a personal threshold, and the Swarovski line is pricey. With this necklace, though, you are getting your money’s worth.
