As the title says this was very quick and easy to use. I just used one hook on the engine lift hook and it was able to support a 3 litre BMW engine for more than 3 weeks with lots of work being done on, around and under it. I was able to turn the handle easily to raise or lower the engine slightly and never once did it budge, move or feel unsafe at all. I didn’t need to use the chains on the engine but they did come in useful to be able to attach the hooks and chains to toe hooks on a car to be able to move it slightly. These did the job for that so I suspect the chains will be more than sturdy enough for an engine as well.
