Havent got a fault with it , maybe should have got a 6 litre. Easy to clean and I do prefer to preheat it for 5 mins even though you dont gave to. Cooks fresh burgers, salmon and chicken breast lovely. Done asparagus in it youd only like if you like it off a barbecue.
Easier to Clean and Quicker than the Oven!
We bought this partly out of curiosity, partly on recommendations, and we’re happy with it!
We’ve tried homemade and frozen roasties and chips, pasties, fish cakes, bacon and so on. The basket can cook enough for two. Readymade food comes out perfect e.g. oven chips come out super crisp and fluffy inside. Homemade dishes are a work in progress: I’ve tried potato and sweet potato chips (soaked in water, dried, lightly coated in oil and seasoning) and, while they were crisp on the ends, they were a tad chewy in the middle. Planning to try pasta chips next. We’re still learning but it’s interesting!
The accompanying booklet includes a few recipes and a general cooking guide. We’ve mainly used guesswork; you can open the drawer and check how food is coming along at any point, give it a shake or turn it over etc. There are also hundreds of recipes and air fryer videos online for reference.
All in all, we’re glad we got it. The jury’s out as to whether it’s healthier as we’ve found that any products that usually need coating in oil still need it. It obviously depends what you cook! However, it’s much quicker than the conventional oven (30-50% quicker/energy-saving as well?), it’s easy to clean (just wipe the tray and clean the basket, which are non-stick), simple to use (set the temp, set the timer), and doesn’t heat up the whole kitchen like the oven does (anticipating this as a plus in summer).

After our daughter telling us that an air fryer is the best thing since sliced bread we gave in and got one. Well? She was spot on. Easy to use,great results crispy on the outside lush in the middle. Chicken, veg fries, haloumi you name it we’ve cooked it. Highly recommend.

I love this air fryer!
We previously had a tefal actifrys, which were good, but every one of them stopped turning the food and only cooked spots.
This air fryer though is fantastic for the money! Well worth it, even if it doesn’t turn the food and you have to shake it, it’s still better than my many actifrys.

Liked everything about it, you can also stop the timer when cooking is finish Just by turning the knob back to zero.. as for cleaning I put hot soapy water in the removable bowl and leave till after tea,,as easy as that.

Purchased a smaller version for my dad during lockdown as he needed to more of his own cooking and he inspired me to get one for myself he found it’s so easy to use and versatile. He never uses his oven anymore. I Love it too. Cooks really quickly. Browns/Crisps to perfection. Jacket potatoes are amazing. So much easier to clean than a grill pan. When cooking chips only needs a wipe with kitchen roll.
Only slight draw back is the timer dial is quite difficult to programme accurately. I just turn it on it heats up really quickly and always takes less time than anticipated. Looking forward to exploring what else I can cook in it. Thanks Tefal might be more sophisticated models on the market but a very happy customer.

Can’t believe how versatile it is. Have only used my oven a few times since buying this. Even took it on a caravan holiday. Use foil as a cover a lot to save having to wash it. Croissants are lovely even when a few days old, taste like they’ve come straight from a bakers.

Had this for a couple of month and it’s been on daily, great at cooking in a short amount of time and cooks excellent, have tried steak, fried chicken, chicken breasts, oven chips, making beef jerky, and a rane of other thing, 100% recommend
Still experimenting but so far I’ve cooked bacon sausage and even eggs. Chicken pieces pork chops and beef steaks. So far it’s been great success and so easy to use.

I am very pleased with my Tower Air Fryer, however, I find cleaning the air fryer, the basket remains a little sticky after cleaning with soap and water. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

A fantastic value for money airfryer which has given my family a huge variety of perfectly cooked meals. I started with chips which made the wife and the dustbin lids extremely happy. They were pleased to discover they are healthy and low in fat too. I’ve done small loaves of bread and rather interesting cakes. My personal favourite is the roast potatoes I’ve cooked on a regular basis. Go ahead and buy one, you won’t regret it, and the Mrs will reward you for doing the cooking

Best purchase of 2020. Using it almost daily. However, the timer of my unit sometimes does not work so have to manually turn off and set a reminder with Google or Alexa.

This is my second air fryer, I just love them. While on lockdown the first one I owned broke, and my daughter decided to look for other models which might suit a large family. This was the one that came highly recommended. After purchasing it, I took it out of the wrapping, but was truly unsure, because I was so use to my original product. I need not of worried. It was truly excellent, really easy to use, and a delight to clean. My only problem if I was to make a criticism was that a few times it did burn what I was cooking. You must keep turning things Because it does not do this automatically for you. I struggled with cooking chicken and roast potatoes. The reason is if you forget to turn things regularly they will burn. This was not The one problem I experienced. The first air fryer I purchased this did not happen, but it was at a different price point. Enjoy experimenting!

It easy to use for Friday’s Fish & Chips rather than the oven, as there is less oil on the plate. I have used it for my grandsons lunches or a quick snack, as it saves with standing in front of the cooker. It cannot fit large pieces of frozen food as this size is too small, you would have to buy a larger size. Haven’t used it for raw/fresh food only frozen items.

This is ideal for 2 people , it could be a bit small for a family. We bought this to replace our Tefal air fryer which after 6 years packed in. It’s not as easy to clean as the Tefal but is still a good product and makes nice chips.

One happy bunny! Over the moon with this, cooks oven chips to perfection so easily, so quickly and it is amazingly simple to clean. I have been pondering getting an air fryer for quite a while but couldn’t decide on which one to go for given that there are so many of them and at vastly differing prices so I carefully checked out all of them, reading as much as I could. At first I considered getting one of the more expensive ones but then I always recall my dear mother (who was a wonderful cook, often on a low budget), telling me that the inexpensive cookware she used (and she had quite a few Tower items in he kitchen because they were in the lower price range) did the job as well as the most expensive items, she said it was how you use things, how you clean them and look after them and your knowledge of cooking that counts more than the price of pots and pans and we always ate the best of home cooked meals. We would sometimes visit an aunt who had the best of everything, top brands at premium prices, she could afford them, but the meals were not a patch on anything my mother cooked. So, I have never forgotten all this and having checked out dozens of air fryers, finally opted for this Tower version at so much less than I could have paid. I made the right choice because it cooks to perfection and I could not be more pleased with it, oh, and you can trust my reviews by the way, I have never been paid for a review – ever. My mother however, would never have bought one of these, they didn’t exist then anyway, she was content to do everything in the old ways, but times have changed, we lead busier lives now and need to save time but still produce the best results. I might even buy another to allow for the cooking of more things simultaneously, at this price it seems like a good idea – thanks for reading!

I love this item I often burn food in my oven by not timing properly but this method is quick and easy.
It is great for frying chips with very little oil I just pour a bit of oil into a dish and soake my raw chips in it then romve them and put them into the air fryer.

I absolutely love this. If you’re thinking about getting the smaller one – dont! I use this to cook for myself and I can get maybe 2 – 3 dinners out of it. It’s so much quicker that the main cooker.
It’s really to use, just put the temperature dial to where you want it and turn the timer on and that’s it on!

Once we had the dials sorted out and the button that frees the inner tray we found it really easy to use and have tried out lots of things to try out. Bhajis worked well, Chips looked a little pale in places but tasted good and cooked through. I messed up falafel but I think the mix was too dry or we cooked it too long, Will try again. Wife happy I bought it.Easy to clean. Just wipe down with damp cloth Good for a 2 person household. Not sure about larger families
