Great oven but needs a cook book to demonstrate its potential

When unpacked there were small pock marks in the plastic surround, some of the brushed steel is clearly scratched and small scratches are visible, which makes me wonder if Amazon have sold me a returned item but charged new price for it and whether if I need to claim under warranty in the future they will think this damage is caused by me. The attached pictures show close ups of what look like dirt or damage from use but are what it was like out of the box.

Aside from that the oven is very easy to use and clean, its not very loud and you get a good selection of extras with it such as a tray, racks and rotisserie.

It looks nice and does its job well, I haven’t returned it as it seems fine other than being noticeably marked but if it is indeed new then it makes me question quality control at towers production facilities.

Its certainly good value for money though and cooks very well.

Amazon selling returns as new, or poor quality control?

Been using Air fryers a few years now. This is my 4th, getting bigger with each purchase. My oven is now dormant as this one is big enough to easily cook a meal for 2 in.
Very easy to use but a nightmare to clean any fat spitting in it. As much as I’ve cleaned it, it has never looked like new again unlike my previous one.
Doesn’t really have 3 useable shelves as the lower shelf really needs to be used for the drip tray to prevent any oil/crumbs landing on the lower elements.
It has been used at least twice a day since purchased in May but the last week or 2 food has been taking about 50% longer to cook and the fan has been very noisy for about a month. I expected it to last much longer than the 9 months we’ve had it however after speaking with amazon customer services a replacement was delivered next day.
The smaller 11liter T17039 was far easier to clean, had no issues after about a year of use and had 3 useable shelves so got almost as much food in.
Well see how long the replacement lasts.

The picture shows a chicken on the rotisserie, but there’s no way that chicken got cooked on the rotisserie in this oven as it could not possibly rotate. Don’t try one over 1.2kg and you will need to string it up well.

I have not tried the rotisserie function, and suspect it would only cook a small chicken, all other functions work well.

Used it instead of the large oven. More convenient and cheaper to use its the perfect alternative for 2 people.

I have rarely used my big oven since buying the 14.5l oven about 12 months ago. I live alone and it is ideal for one. My only criticism is that it is hard to clean. You need to learn to adapt your cooking for it. Most things take less time than a normal oven and it is best to cover cakes with tinfoil before the end of cooking or they brown too quickly. You run through the options and choose the heat that is nearest to the one you are looking for and then up or down the temperature or timing to suit. It’s brilliant and must have saved a fortune in electricity.

We bought this oven while we were having some house renovations done and it has far exceeded our expectations! It cooks pizzas and chips better than our previous full sized oven. It can cook a lot of food at the same time as it has 3 levels. It is also quite quiet. Would definitely buy again and will keep it after the renovations are done.

First of all, if you’re buying this with dreams of home made rotisserie chicken then move along. Probably would work with a small chicken with all its legs tucked in etc or it just won’t fully spin and the legs will touch the elements and cause a lot of smoke. Save the rotisserie for narrow, cylindrical joints of meat or kebabs.

However, cook that chicken on the regular air fry mode and it is gorgeous. I’ve air fried a 1.4kg chicken without issues. I’ve made wings and I’ve reheated chips from the chippy and they all came out delicious. After cooking the chicken, the drip tray beneath was almost full of grease — in the oven the chicken would have been sitting in that!

Makes excellent gammon and bacon too. You won’t go back to cooking bacon any other way. The dehydrator is good too, I dehydrated some chilli’s and it worked fine but I suggest dehydrating things of similar size and shape so it all takes the same amount of time.

10/10 rating for me. I’m just a bloke in my 30s who is overall bad at cooking anyway so if you’re already quite good at cooking you’ll do just fine with this.

It’s a beautiful piece, everyone should have it!
It works very well, and it has all the features I wanted: air fry, dehydrator, rotisserie, oven, fan oven and grill. For bacon lovers, this is a must to have: the beacon comes out crispy and no mess. You must preheat it, while you get ready your food, about 10 min. This way, the cooking time is little. For a tray of 8 pieces of beacon, (put foil under for no cleaning the tray :), it takes 6-8 min.
The rotisserie works wonders for a medium chicken or a piece of pork, lamb or beef, no more than 1.4 kg. The taste of these is heaven.
Make sure that you wipe it after every use. It’s so easy to clean with a cloth with fairy. Mine looks like new after every day use for 2 months.
Warming up meat, pizza, potatoes or any leftovers in the air fryer mode, (after preheating), it tastes like you just finished cooking it, no soggy like in the microwave.
I didn’t use the other features yet.
    I recommend it.

I like the general modern design of this oven plus its versatility.
It’s ease of use makes cooking a pleasure.
Just one negative feature— it’s impossible to know when the oven reaches the required temperture.

This Tower Airfryer is much more than just an airfryer, it can cook like an oven, microwave and grill as well, making it a great product for lots of different tasks.

I’ve only just started using Tower products and while they don’t feel quite as top quality as brands like Panasonic, this is still a solidly built oven. It does need a lot of space around it for ventilation though, so you can’t put it right next to a wall or under something that would prevent heat from escaping.

The functions and buttons are easy to understand, all marked well and with each function separate on an analogue dial. First choose a setting. You then need to set the time on the right hand analogue dial and it will tick down. It feels a little old fashioned for such a modern device but some people will prefer the analogue over a digital display and buttons.

There are plenty of trays included for cooking everything from pizzas to chips, they can be inserted in to three levels though items at the top always cook faster so it’s difficult to cook several things at once evenly on the oven setting. The airfryer is a little more even as air is pumped around the oven but the top heating element still cooks items from above, so there is still browning on the top item.

It would be nice if the device came with a decent cook book, there are example recipes in the manual but not really enough to get used to the different modes, so it’s all trial and error. I’ve found the oven and airfryer take ages to heat up and don’t quite cook as fast as the combo microwave oven we used previously, especially as that has unique modes for things like jacket potatoes which used a mix of oven and microwave automatically, which I think can’t be done here. Otherwise, it’s a good all-round device.

Great little addition to our kitchen! The air fryer works great but most importantly, the grill and over work great. The rotisserie can be a bit of a challenge with slightly larger chickens but a medium fits great. Cleaning is a bit of a challenge when you’re getting the food in and out of the oven.

Small sits on the unit and flavour is great when finished wipe it clean and so easy to use

Several weeks in I can honestly say this was a star purchase. I hardly use my oven now. This is quicker, better and more comfortable to use as no bending down. I’ve cooked several items together, spit roasted a chicken and baked a cake and everything comes out great. I love that I can switch from Fan oven to Air fry to get a final crisp and the range of racks give me flexibility over what I want to cook.
Everyone raves about home cooked chips in an air fryer (which is true) but reheating left over chips from the chip shop makes them better than when they were first bought.
It’s also great too if your takeaway isn’t quite hot enough on arrival as no preheat is necessary.

I’m really impressed by the cooker. I’ve used it as an oven, an air fryer and for rotisserie chicken so far.
I really like the taste of the food it cooks. It makes chips much crisper than having them cooked in a deep fat fryer plus I don’t feel guilty eating chips now!
It takes a bit of experimentation with settings to work out the best way to cook and it’s important to keep it clean.
What i love most is that it’s really safe for my kid to use. I’m hoping she might even cook for me soon.

Very pleased with this oven I bought when my main oven stopped working. Fantastic as an oven, heats up very quickly and the temperature setting is accurate. Works well on air fryer setting too, not as fast as my smaller air fryer, which I expected, but still cooks food much more evenly than a normal oven. I’ve not used the dehydrator function yet. I can’t fit some of my larger baking trays in but it’s been fine for everyday cooking for my 3 person family.

    Very pleased with this ove

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had a smaller version of this Tower air fryer and I must say this bigger one was well worth the investment! Much bigger cooking space and oddly enough – much quieter in operation than their smaller model.

Superb results from the cooking so far! Thoroughly recommended!!!

This Tower Air Fryer Oven has been used much more than I was expecting to be using it. It’s very handy and makes a great additional oven in our kitchen. If you have a large family and you are planning on using this as your main oven, you might be better off looking for a larger model. That said, the best thing about this Air Fryer is the rotary function. I have never had an oven that does this before and It’s so much fun to use this for cooking your chicken (although the large chicken I first bought was a bit too big to fit in this oven). The dehydration function is also pretty cool, I haven’t used it yet but I am planning on giving it a go soon. Great basic air fryer, with some nice additional features. Just make sure you check capacity if you have a large family.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe wanted this air fryer for a few reasons but thought due to the design that it could work as an extra oven for our kitchen, and also provide us with some healthier cooking options. Also, the fact it has a rotisserie function is amazing and I couldn’t wait to try it. It is a hefty unit, so make sure to check measurements before buying!

    Pros:
    * This air fryer is definitely multifunctional, being able to function as a grill, oven, fan oven, air fryer, dehydrator or a rotisserie
    * Has plenty of inserts for its’ many functions including a baking tray, mesh “baskets”, a rotisserie rod and tines for affixing the meat in place
    * The functions are easy to switch between, as the dial is very clearly marked
    * Has a kind of safety function in the sense that none of the functions work without the timer being set
    * Variable temperature for every setting except “dehydrate” which is set at 70c
    * The rotisserie function is amazing; we’ve tried chicken wings which were cooked perfectly in around 25 mins – I wasn’t sure how these would turn out but it’s the best chicken I’ve ever had. The meat was so moist inside and the skin crispy on the outside
    * The dehydrate function is also very handy, as I am a lover of mushrooms and drying them can take some time in the oven or air drying. This dehydrate function uses a fan to quickly circulate air around the inside of the fryer
    * Even without oil, the air fryer produces lovely crispy fries and battered mushrooms, so this is a winner for trying to eat healthier
    * Being able to use it as an oven is perfect for us when hosting roast dinners as our kitchen oven is very small
    * The instructions are very clear and describe which tray to use and what elevation is required
    * Very easy to clean compared to air fryers with lids

    Cons:
    * The air fryer has no filter before exhausting the fryer air out, so this can lead to quite strong smells when in use (the chicken smell lingered for a long time, with oil it would be worse)
    * The rotisserie function will cook out unwanted fat in chicken, which is great, but you need to use a tray to catch the fat, otherwise it just drips which would be hard to clean/would burn or negatively flavour the next thing you cook
    * When you dehydrate anything, if it is cut very small, finely or thinly, the fan may blow it all over the interior of the oven (you could try to use the mesh as a double layer to stop this from happening)
    * The dehydrate function sets automatically to 70c, so it can take quite some time to dry certain food; the problem here is the time will only set to an hour, so you have to go back at the end and reset the timer
    * The oven space isn’t very big; you would struggle to fit a standard whole chicken in there to fully utilize the rotisserie function

All in all, I really like this fryer. It is easy to use, very fast and is a much healthier option than some other units. It’s let down slightly by the oven size and lack of air filter (which reflects in the lower price), but still, the fact it produces the most delicious rotisseried chicken is a huge winner for me as this is restaurant quality stuff. I would still recommend this even given the cons, the benefits far outweigh them and for the price it’s great value.

This review is for the 22 Litre Capacity Tower Air Fryer ( non-digital dials).
The build quality is excellent, metal and plastic material used during the manufacturing is robust. There are no digital dials, so the design is not very attractive, but it is very good at doing its job, which is cooking.

22-litre capacity is large enough, temperature up to 230 degree is good enough, and a wide range of functionality is good enough to cook various dishes. I don’t use my big oven anymore.

This machine comes with well-made two airflow racks and rotisserie skewer to cook different meals. My kids love the cookie dough made out from this machine.
Automatic shut-off function allows you to do another work while cooking. I am happy with the product and definitely worth the money you spend.

Perfect for cooking a variety of dishes

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor under 100 quid, you get yourself a little kitchen helper that will come in handy if you have only one oven to play with, no grill, or just love juicy rotisserie chicken, as I do! Here you have a rather compact multi-functional device that will allow you to grill, bake, roast, dehydrate, air-fry and much more! Have used it on every single function now and very pleased. It is compact , but rather spacious and all the trays and grills are very easy to maintain and look after, as the are all dishwasher safe and come out as new after verey single cycle! It does not take up much space in your kitchen, but can do so many things that you will most certainly find that it was a hundred quid well spent!

    Multifunction game changer!

I made my air fryer chicken recipe and did not even need to flip the chicken and it came out perfect.

My favorite is tender crisp option.

It is absolutely amazing for wings and sweet potato fries etc

    Nice crispy skin on chicken

Moist meat and cooked thoroughly with no dry parts.

It is also a pressure cooker and a slow cooker and roaster so we will be cooking up a storm.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThere are currently two items listed on the same page with vastly different specifications, so check the header to see which reviews relate to which product as one is digital and the other isn’t. My review is for the 22 litre non-digital version and, although it is a good all rounder, it isn’t perfect.

Build quality is good with a mostly metal outer and thick, robust plastic used in other areas. It feels as though it will last, subject to how it is handled. It is about the same size as a microwave and similar in capacity inside, although not as large as it appears in the product listing and I would not expect to get a large turkey inside, you will manage a medium large chicken though.

There are three control dials at the front and these control function, temperature and time with reasonable accuracy. The oven also comes with a good quality baking tray, racks and a rotisserie skewer, so you are all set for a variety of cooking. It looks good enough to leave out on a kitchen worktop, assuming you have the space, but is also small enough (and light enough) that it will go into a larder-style cupboard for storage if you only want to use it occasionally, perhaps just for the rotisserie function.

It is a good item and, although it isn’t big enough for the larger poultry items to cook on the rotisserie, it strikes a good balance to avoid being so large that it will consume too much space in itself. A very good item to have if you are doing your kitchen and don’t have an oven, for students needing something to throw a pizza in or to provide extra cooking capacity when you can have large catering events again.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHad this little oven/airfryer delivered a few days ago it’s the best thing since sliced bread, so easy to use you can do so much with it I’m confident it will give me so much pleasure baking if you are thinking of getting one just do it you will be so happy with one. Cooks meat/steak and fish perfect……..also great for doing veg using the airfryer setting. Whilst I have been getting used to cooking with this little oven I have found that if I don’t need to use the bottom tray to filter juices from food I remove it so that heat distributes all round without having to keep rotating the food hope this helps customers thinking of buying one.
