I bought this toy for my 9 year old boy and he totally enjoy playing with it. It’s his new favorite toy now. When I received the toy it didn’t work and I asked for a replacement and they shipped it so fast and I received it the next day! The toy is bit noisy but still it’s my son’s favorite! Worth the buy!

There is no volume control. We have this one and different one for my other son. I obviously should have researched how much noise they make, the boys are confined to their rooms with them so they don’t drive us crazy. But they both love each version and have tons of fun with them, so that’s what matters most I guess

The kids love this little thing. The only downside is the battery life is somewhat short.
I bought this for my grand nephew who is 4. He was able to start operating it right away. My niece mentioned he and all of his friends absolutely love it and play with it for hours.

Turbos’ responsiveness leaves a bit to be desired. He also only knows three jokes so..be prepared for that.

My eight year old son loves it, and so do all of his friends. It is fun and fast. Fart humor is always hilarious and it is easy to control. It is also well made and can really take a lot of abuse from “demolition derby” with other rc cars….

As a boy mom, we’ve had plenty of remote control devices. This is by far the best one. It’s extremely durable easy to use and it’s hilarious.
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 8 yr old son. I wrote a product review when it arrived because it looked cool and I was excited to give it to him. Well it’s a month after Christmas and he still loves it. It’s easy to use, fun to watch and has a lot of jokes and noises to laugh at. This is a great toy. I can’t give a true age recommendation but I’d say anywhere from 4-10 years old would really enjoy this toy.

This is super fun to play with! It works great on carpet and non carpeted flooring. It really zips around.
But hey, one of the best part of having kids is reliving your own childhood, right? Turbo is probably my child’s (current) favorite toy. Its slept in my kid’s bed ever since Christmas, and has endured a young, highly active child who plays with it almost non-stop. Drops, jumps, wall crashes, furniture crashes, mom & dad crashes that result in said parents LANDING on the toy have not rattled Turbo at all. The controls are pretty easy, our child picked them up very quickly. It’s fun, it farts, it’s tough, and man is it fast! The only issue we’ve had is the voice control can be a bit quirky (responds when nobody said its name, unresponsive when our child states a command from time to time). But honestly, the voice control on my phone doesn’t always get things right either. So I can’t really fault Turbo, it’s just the technology. This thing can MOVE, so you may want to invest in some steel-toe boots for yourself & loved ones. And yes, it burps and farts on command or randomly. If your delicate sensibilities are offended by that sort of thing, all I can say is grow down. Turbo has been an absolute blast, and despite being used constantly, it surprisingly isn’t going through batteries on a weekly basis. You’ll have as much fun as your child with this toy! Enjoy!

This was a Christmas gift for my 5- year old grandson. He had NO problems getting it to work off of both his voice and the remote control. It’s super cute and makes you smile to hear what it says. It’s very durable and bounced and wheeled all over. I’d highly recommend especially as a kid’s first robot.

Turbo is cool. The kids like that they can control him with commands. He’s not so loud that you want to chuck him into a bin, and he’s funny. He farts and dances. Total kid-friendly!

My grandson received two of these for Christmas. When given the option of keeping the robot or selecting another gift, he opted to keep the second robot so that he could play with a friend. I guess that is the best testament, from a 7 year old

Great! But LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!! I had To put thick packing tape over the sound holes to quiet it down. Other then that it’s great.
Toy is a lot of fun for my 8 year old son. My main problem with it is that there’s no volume control. The robot makes noises and talks really loudly. This can get annoying real fast.

This thing kills batteries pretty fast, it would have been nice if it was powered by a rechargeable battery. My daughter gets a kick out of it so I guess it gets a decent review.
-Turbo is a fun little robot toy.
-The controller has two speeds (slow and fast), I think I’d call them fast and faster.
-There are 4 voice commands (spin, dance, joke, and explore). The voice commands are easy enough for a 4 year old to be able to interact with the robot.
-He is extremely loud, the sound effects and frequency were loud enough and annoying enough to give me an instant migraine, so we taped over both speakers (see photo). This helped control the volume for the sound effects down to a reasonable noise level, however it is now difficult to hear Turbo talk. I wish there was a volume control.
-With the controller you are able to maneuver Turbo easily with two control buttons (forward/back, and right/left).
-The remote additionally has the option for you to record your own special sound effects. We haven’t gotten to this feature yet because we’ve been having too much fun playing with the basic functions of the robot.
-When turbo flips over, he has this foot that smacks hard into the floor. It is made of a dense material that seems like it’s supposed to cushion the impact of the flip, but I’m still concerned that I’ll have dents in my floor with how hard he flips back and forth.
-This is much more fun if you have decent floor space for Turbo to spin around in, when he gets into a tight space watch your feet and be careful.
-His jokes are fun and a bit corny, similar to a good “Dad joke”
-Overall we do really enjoy this toy, but our main complaint is the intensity, volume and frequency of the sound

What my 12 year old grandson liked-everything. What I didn’t like was the constant whirring because he didn’t want to stop playing with it but it was all worth it to see him happy. It does turns,talks,uses messages you give it etc so there’s so many things he can do with it. It says it’s for ages 5 and up so that threw both of us but once he started playing with it he was all smiles.
These were the fave nephew gift! In no time they were zooming room to room. Total hit!

What a fun robot! I was expecting this to operate similar to an RC car, but it’s nothing like it! We love the voice recognition / command option. This does work on carpet but not very good. It works MUCH better on the tile floor, especially where there is a lot of floor space.
My 5 year old really loves this but doesn’t understand how to work all the commands and functions. However, this has turned into a great toy for he and a parent to play together with.
Just an FYI: this takes a lot of batteries!
This is a fun toy! The boys are 6, 7, 8 that played with this cool toy. I would say theses were great ages for this toy. We have had a lot of great laughs playing with it. Easy to play with we’ve had no issues.
I was thrilled when I discovered this toy expanded my nephew’s world. 5 year olds don’t have the best dexterity for controlling radio controlled toys. HE LOVES THIS. He likes the sound features. My sister likes the ability to turn the volume down.

It’s like his new buddy; he is six years old and at the age where he can play quite well alone so this interactive toy has been so much fun for him while his newborn baby brother is too young for him to really engage. The toy is well constructed and safe to use, durable for boisterous boy activities and the price is great for hours of fun each night.
This little robot is full of fun and surprises. It did not hurt the furniture when the kids ran it into something. I think this is a toy better suited to kids over age 8? The younger ones didn’t do as well with it as the older ones but they still all laughed.

This RAD remote control robot with voice control is just as its named Rad. It has 2 speed modes. You can record your voice and use it for voice commands. RAD can perform all kinds of tricks. It can dance, spin and drift and many more. It will even tell jokes. It’s easy to use and hours of fun. This Robot feels every bump as in if you crash it, it will say ouch. Fun toy which would make a great gift.
