My son used his Christmas money to buy this on a whim. I can’t express my pure excitement in this review as my son will play with this until the batteries die and he has to put new ones in. WOW! He loves this toy. The range is great, the durability is amazing, the voice commands are sick! If i was my boy, I would be excited just as he is. This should be one of those toys that sells out at Christmas!. The battery life is about 2 hours. Highly recommend buying rechargeable AA batteries for this one. BEST TOY EVAR!

Its slept in my kid's bed ever since Christmas, and has endured a young, highly active child who plays with it almost non-stop. Drops, jumps, wall crashes, furniture crashes, mom & dad crashes that result in said parents LANDING on the toy have not rattled Turbo at all. The controls are pretty easy, our child picked them up very quickly. It's fun, it farts, it's tough, and man is it fast! The only issue we've had is the voice control can be a bit quirky (responds when nobody said its name, unresponsive when our child states a command from time to time). But honestly, the voice control on my phone doesn't always get things right either. So I can't really fault Turbo, it's just the technology. This thing can MOVE, so you may want to invest in some steel-toe boots for yourself & loved ones. And yes, it burps and farts on command or randomly. If your delicate sensibilities are offended by that sort of thing, all I can say is grow down. Turbo has been an absolute blast, and despite being used constantly, it surprisingly isn't going through batteries on a weekly basis. You'll have as much fun as your child with this toy! Enjoy!

Turbo is a fun little robot toy
-Turbo is a fun little robot toy.
-The controller has two speeds (slow and fast), I think I’d call them fast and faster.
-There are 4 voice commands (spin, dance, joke, and explore). The voice commands are easy enough for a 4 year old to be able to interact with the robot.
-He is extremely loud, the sound effects and frequency were loud enough and annoying enough to give me an instant migraine, so we taped over both speakers (see photo). This helped control the volume for the sound effects down to a reasonable noise level, however it is now difficult to hear Turbo talk. I wish there was a volume control.
-With the controller you are able to maneuver Turbo easily with two control buttons (forward/back, and right/left).
-The remote additionally has the option for you to record your own special sound effects. We haven’t gotten to this feature yet because we’ve been having too much fun playing with the basic functions of the robot.
-When turbo flips over, he has this foot that smacks hard into the floor. It is made of a dense material that seems like it’s supposed to cushion the impact of the flip, but I’m still concerned that I’ll have dents in my floor with how hard he flips back and forth.
-This is much more fun if you have decent floor space for Turbo to spin around in, when he gets into a tight space watch your feet and be careful.
-His jokes are fun and a bit corny, similar to a good “Dad joke”
-Overall we do really enjoy this toy, but our main complaint is the intensity, volume and frequency of the sound

This type of RC vehicle is best for young children because it is sturdy and maneuverable . It is easy to drive without prior experience using an RC controller. The sound effects add some entertainment to its versatile ability to steer in any direction at high speed.

What a fun robot! I was expecting this to operate similar to an RC car, but it’s nothing like it! We love the voice recognition / command option. This does work on carpet but not very good. It works MUCH better on the tile floor, especially where there is a lot of floor space.
My 5 year old really loves this but doesn’t understand how to work all the commands and functions. However, this has turned into a great toy for he and a parent to play together with.
Just an FYI: this takes a lot of batteries!
My 6 year old and 15 year old had a pretty fun time with this. Actually, even my husband had fun with this. We used it predominantly in the house, which has wood and tiles. You will need six AAA batteries to get this going…. three for the remote control and three for the actual toy. My 6 year old got a kick out of the voice activation so we each recorded ourselves saying things like, woahhhh, ouch, Watch out!, and vrrrrroooom, and my six year old chose the word “Godzilla” for his saying…. (you can record 5 sayings total)… Fun lasted for an hour or so, but the kids have not wanted to play with it since.
This is a fun toy! The boys are 6, 7, 8 that played with this cool toy. I would say theses were great ages for this toy. We have had a lot of great laughs playing with it. Easy to play with we’ve had no issues.

I was thrilled when I discovered this toy expanded my nephew's world. 5 year olds don't have the best dexterity for controlling radio controlled toys. HE LOVES THIS. He likes the sound features. My sister likes the ability to turn the volume down.

It's like his new buddy; he is six years old and at the age where he can play quite well alone so this interactive toy has been so much fun for him while his newborn baby brother is too young for him to really engage. A fun and entertaining toy. While originally intended to be a gift for a little while, even the grownups around the house I’ve had their fun with this one. The remote control toy is incredibly easy to use, and even the little ones have been able to manage to master driving it around the backyard and driveway. It is incredibly easy to use and is almost ready to go right out of the box. It is great for teaching children how to use a remote control toy and the basics of mechanics. It has a fun interface, I was able to tackle almost any hard surface chocolate some angles. It is very durable and well-madeAnd is able to withstand some falls and drops and rough play.
The grandkids had a ball with this when they came over. It was great fun for all of us. The kids tried to spy on us old folks and record us using this little spy. LOL Being able to record your voice and then use voice commands is pretty cool. The kids laughed when it hit a bump and said OUCH.
This little robot is full of fun and surprises. It did not hurt the furniture when the kids ran it into something. I think this is a toy better suited to kids over age 8? The younger ones didn’t do as well with it as the older ones but they still all laughed.
Overall this is a pretty cool toy and would make a great gift.
Very fast and fun to play with. Comes with a tail peice so please check the box for the little piece as the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I had to dig in the trash for it as it does not work correctly without the tail piece installed. Easy to use and very entertaining. Has various tricks and even has the voice command feature. My daughter loves this thing.
This remote controlled Rad Robot is a lot of fun. I use it inside the house to exercise and stimulate my two cats, one of which runs from it, the other preferring to fight it, though I imagine that it could used just as well out-doors on a suitable surface such as asphalt or concrete. It causes no damage to furniture even when bumping up against tables and chairs with a noticeable thud, though I do avoid deploying it anywhere near the floor vases. It’s quite responsive to the varies moves executed through the remote — forward, back, spin, etc. and the vocalizations it gives off when bumping around add an extra bit of humor to the usage. The remote control itself is shaped and laid out very much like a small version of a conventional gaming controller making the execution of movements intuitive for anyone with any experience with such devices. I was even pleasantly surprised by how energy efficient this robot is with its battery power given that similar electronic gadgets I’ve owned tend to drain the rechargeables I use in them at a fairly rapid clip. It’s suitable for anyone of any age who likes electronic toys.

This is a present for my son. It is very cool. It recognizes his voice and tells jokes. It is a neat little robo
The turbo robot is a cool toy. The recommended age is 5+ but I feel age 8+ will be able to fully enjoy it and know how to use all of its features. As the name implies it has a turbo boost switch that makes the toy go faster. The toy can spin and dance in which it rolls back and forth and plays music. You can record and playback messages. On explore mode turbo can avoid obstacles but if it crashes it knows and will respond to the crash by saying ouch. You can teach it 5 phrases. It seems to be pretty durable and looks like it can take a hit. It requires 6 AAA batteries 3 for the remote and 3 for the bot. Overall, I think its a cool and dynamic toy that can be enjoyable for kids and adults.
Before I got this remote controlled robot, I read that it was supposed to be one of the best toys for Christmas 2019. Well, if you have people in your family that like to prank others, they will love this robot. You can use the remote control to send it where you want it to go. You can also give it commands to make it spin, dance or explore. It talks and you can even record and playback or spy on others and record their conversations. Now, I have sometimes thought to myself “if these walls could talk”, well, you can now spy with this guy.
