I originally assembled these and installed them with all the extension poles. Unfortunately the poles aren’t strong enough to hold up lights without bending when they’re at their full height. The metal is a little thin and they were bending at the connection points so I took one section of each of the poles out and they work much better. They’re obviously not as tall now but they still look and function well.
These just screw together and worked perfectly to hold our lights. I eliminated one section bc they were so tall, but assembly took just seconds!
I think that the people complaining about them tried to spread them out too far. We found they held the lights nicely and we love the added flag pole feature in each pack. They are sturdy in the ground and well worth the money.
Every easy to assemble. Haven’t had opportunity to try it tho. May need to bring a rubber mallet to hammer the stakes and bottom of pole into ground (RV park soil is very compacted/hard). Will update after first use next month!
Bought these to hang my how do you string lights and it works perfect. Easy to assemble easy to install and very sturdy. They have already withstand multiple thunderstorms and bumps from the lawnmower.
