Golden Review Award: 86 From Our UsersWell made with an aluminium body on HDMI end and a type c adapter on the other. Price is fair given the quality.
Although it works fine on some tablets/phones **BE AWARE** This will not work on all tablets/phones with a type C port, all need to have ‘alternative mode’ (ALT MODE) enabled to work. Apparently android 10 (aka Q) will sort this out but just check before you buy.

Golden Review Award: 68 From Our UsersWell I asked the question does it work with htc 10 and yes it does 🙂 outputs video nicely thank you very much, had to return this product as it didn’t work first time but researching these adapters theres a few different types and I just downright bought another (second hand) phone to get the displayport video output for my avegant glyph headset, quality is very nice btw nice metal casing feels which gets surprisingly warm in use but then I’m glad I have a metal case dissipating the heat rather than a plastic 1 keeping it all in! . Anyway doesn’t support mhl people this is displayport phones

Now we’re all working from home, the IT supplied from work was okay but the screen was tiny! This enabled me to hook up my bedroom tv to my work hybrid, voila the screen is much more comfortable to see now. 7.99 so now no need to buy a separate monitor. Fab.
Basically my tv had a HDMI slot, my Work hybrid has a USB -C connection this little adapter connects both together.

I bought this in order to hook my work iMac to my Dell Display, now that I am 100% working from home. I prefer to have my gaming PC hooked via Display Port so I went with a USB-C to HDMI adapter.

It arrived today and it’s working perfectly. It connected without any issues, there is no flicker or signal loss, the picture is clear and full RBG comes through. It supports the 2K resolution I have so can’t say if it can output 4K.

Now this is not perfect so even if it’s very small and thin, it gets piping hot after only a couple of hours of work. It’s true, we are in the summer so the ambient temperature is somewhere around 30 degrees, but it gets a lot hotter than the other USB-C to Mini DisplayPort that I have. Also, the cable is half the thickness of any USB-C cables that I own so not really sure how this will hold in the long term.

For the money this is incredible and did the trick I needed it for. Working from home, my ThinkPad T490S wasn’t connecting to two external monitors, with only one HDMI out port, I only had one monitor and the laptop screen extended. I tried HDMI splitters, USB – VGA and none gave me the ability to have THREE monitors all extended.
THIS DID! And for just over a tenner with p&p I wish I read up on thunderbolt technology sooner.
    Very very happy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt came quick and appears to be quality manufactured. Have tried it by connecting it between my mobile phone and TV, seems to be good picture and sound. Please bear in mind I bought it to use my Virgin TV Go app, however virgin have configured the app to block connection from your device to a larger screen so the only features I have found to work using the virgin go app, is bbc iplayer and other on demand players seem to work. This is not a criticism of this adapter but just needed to point it out to others thinking of using it for the same reason. Youtube and Netflix do work well.

Great lead that will send movies, games or video from a laptop, tablet or mobile phone to your tv screen or monitor. It is an adaptor lead that converts the signal from a usb-c connection to a HDMI connection. This will support resolution up to 4K. It is easy to use by just plugging in to a usb-c port with DP Alt mode at one end and into a tv screen, projector or monitor with a HDMI connection, u dont need a wi-fi connection or any extra apps or drivers. It is a high quality adaptor although it could do with having a longer connecting cable as it is quite short in length.

Great lead that will send movies from laptop, tablet or mobile phone to your tv screen or monito

I found this to be an excellent cable that delivers great results for a great price. In doing so, it offers fantastic value for money. I found the picture quality to be sharp, crisp and clear, without noticing any pixelation discolouring on the image being outputted. The cable seems to be very tough and robust, so no doubt this helps in delivering an excellent signal. I’ve attached a photo, so you can see both connections pretty much side by side.

Bought this to revive a phone as I had bad luck in the past with similar devices. My phone managed to show some output through USB-C, it was a relief seeing some image but I lacked input since my touchscreen died too. Luckily I ordered a USB-C hub too at the same time which allowed me to plug a USB mouse. I did manage to bring this tiny cable to a recent meeting and managed to show content from my phone in the presentation. All it took was the usual HDMI cable into the projector into this little plug. Its definitely worth the money. It managed to output 4k image nicely too.

We have prime on my daughters kindle and wanted it for our holidays so we didnt have to cart DVDs with us, or have to put stuff on a USB stick and then have it not be compatible with the TV wherever we are staying. This little beauty worked spot on. Plug n go… and whatever is on your tablet or smartphone screen is on the TV.

We couldnt “cast” as there was no wifi where we stayed, but every TV has a HDMI port – just remember to take a HDMI cable with you.

At first, I could not get the TV screen to the display on the Chromebook.
All that was displayed on the TV was the Wallpaper view.
    The simple solution is to:
    Open setting (the cogwheel)
    Then Devices
Then Display and check the MIRROR box.
Note the Adapter and the HDMI lead need to be connected to the Chromebook and the TV with the correct HDMI source selected to show the mirror box.
    Hope this is helpful.
The adapter seems to be well made and works a treat.

Using on a Samsung S20+ to an non smart Samsung plasma TV. Its been great to be able to get the footie matches from off my phone up to a bigger screen. Using the cable on my phone to TV gives me a desktop experience on the big screen. I just make sure I have the web page ready on my phone before connecting the cable. It can be fiddly navigating via my phone but that’s more of an issue with the phone experience. I then open the last app and maximise the video playing. Change the sound to be via the HDMI device (TV). This does everything I wanted from it and beats sitting round looking at my phone for 90 odd minutes. Overall a great buy and the product feels well made. Used for several months now and no issues.

I bought this to use with my Samsung S20. Had bought other similar items that didn’t work. Really impressed with this adapter.

Plug it in to phone and attach hdmi cable and it automatically started DEX on my TV screen.

It gives a HQ quality output with sound (have to alter dex settings) and it works a treat.

You must have a phone that supports MHL.

Really good product for the price. Definitely recommend.
