I managed to assemble this by myself, being a 50 something female (it would be easier with 2 people -but that wasn’t part of the package!). No seriously, I was impressed with how everything was labelled and packaged. The instructions were fairly idiot proof. Everything aligned nicely – the holes and screws were just so! It’s sturdy but not too heavy to move into situ. I would recommend & am looking at other items in their range. I would rate as excellent quality for the price.

It’s a fantastic addition to our hallway. We wanted a hallway unit with white a few attributes- multiple strong hooks, multiple shelves for at least 6 pairs of shoes inc. my boots, a bench and at a reasonable price without being flimsy. This one ticks all her boxes. Delighted with it. The only downer was the assembly esp some screws were a faff to put in.

Not only is it a good looking and stylish bit of furniture, this was the best kit I’ve ever built – so well thought out, everything labelled, everything symmetrical so it doesn’t matter which way up it goes, screws bagged separately in labelled bags, it’s an easy one-person build. Can’t fault it – other designers should buy one and take notes! Great value for money and well worth the extra over similar items because it looks great – the veneer is beautiful.

Bought this to replace our old shoe rack and coat stand and make more room in our lounge. It is a fantastic item and has freed up so much space for us. This is a smart and easy to assemble coat and shoe rack .
the lower shelf is strong enough to hold my weight easily while I put my shoes on and i am NOT skinny !
I would not put anything to heavy on the top shelf as it may make the stand topple over , however it comes with a bracket to fasten it to the wall if you think you need it , which I would advise if you have kids that may try to climb on it . That said I have not used it on mine ( no kids ) and have had it for about 8 moths with no issues ,
Very slight down side was the packing , the bags of screws had split so it was a pain to find them all .
Hat and boot stand for "boot room"
We needed something to sit on to change into outside/gardening boots in our utility room vestibule/boot room. This was ideal as we can store coats and shoes and sit on the bench to change shoes. Its very robust and was easy to put together. We will probably buy the base/shoe version for the vestibule on our main entrance to the house. Recommended
Tidy corne
Really nice, sturdy product. Two-man job to build but we’re seniors. Very stable and no need to tie to the wall. Bought three soft collapsible baskets from Amazon and put hats, gloves and scarves in those for the top shelf. Everything looks really neat now with no more coats hanging inside cupboard doors. Very pleased.

Very easy to put together, we use this every day, very durble and fits in perfectly with our decor and wasy on the eye. We did add brackets to secure to the wall for extra support.

One of they best products we have bought this year, as it perfectly filled a need for hanging rainwear etc and storing outside shoes in our hallway, and was also cheaper and looks better than equivalent item from IKEA. So far has proved very rebust under daily use over past two months so jury is still out over long term.

This was my first time buying furniture from Amazon and I was sceptical. But this shelf is great! I love it! I have put together a lot of IKEA stuff and this is just as easy to put together. The instructions were clear and all the parts matched up. The design is very elegant and looks like I paid more for it. It is sturdy enough to sit on and hang heavy things from it without concern. I especially like that the wood-finish look goes all around all sides of the parts, so there is no unsightly particle board anywhere. I will look to buy this brand again in future.

Very easy to put together. I read some reviews saying the instructions were not clear, I totally don’t understand why anyone would think that.
I am disabled so, it took me quite a while to do the job. In my fitter days I’d have finished it on my own in probably under a half hour.

For the price this is fantastic, I’ve paid just as much for bog standard shoe cupboards and gone through a fair few. I absolutely love this, it suits my house and I can’t see me ever wanting to get rid of it. I wanted to leave it in my hall but the idea of me getting it was to put in the porch so I could move all the shoes and coats in there out the way. It’s a perfect fit…. did I mention I love it?

Really easy to assemble, surprisingly lovely unit, fantastic for the price! The wood effect is lovely and warm. The only complaint is that on the day it arrived it had been reduced in price and with free delivery!
Good design but not as sturdy
Looks quite nice and very useful in the entrance hall, as you can sit down on the bench and it has a storage rack above. It takes some effort to put together and it could have been more sturdy. But overall, it is fine. Would recommend it.

Study space saver with a rustic feel
Having moved into a flat with a narrower hallway my old coat rack was taking up too much space being a freestanding unit.
After being impressed by another of vaslage products I decided to invest in their coat rack.
The product arrived quickly and safely with no damage and was incredibly easy to assemble.
It’s neatened up my hallway and overall offers a more satisfying way of hanging my coats and jackets. I also use the top shelf for my hats.

Better than expected
Lovely item, great quality. Said two weeks for delivery but arrived within 3 days! Even with everything going on at the moment. Really is a great shoe rack, holds 3 men’s trainers (Nike air max) and a pair of ladies trainers on each rack. Also very easy to assemble.

Quick delivery, well packed, easy to assemble and looks good and sturdy enough. Things that could be better, screws should come separated by type and it should be possible to attach it directly to the wall for more stability.
Coat hanger a little low
Works well but if you are a size 13 don’t expect to get too many shows in there. Only thing we were disappointed with is the height of the coats hanger which is a little low and has no raise to adjust it higher.

Fairly easy to assemble if you follow the instructions and don’t tighten any of the screws until all the sections are in place. Looks good and is very sturdy.
Sturdy
Excellent value when comparing this to other furniture of this type. A multi-tool IKEA style is provided but this went in the bin as soon as it was out of the box, using some proper tools it went together in under 15 mins. Looks great in the hallway, seems sturdy though if you want to utilise the top shelf will have to anchor it to the wall.

Easy to assemble with 2 people, though did need a screwdriver.
Slightly more narrow than expected so can only fit 4 pairs of shoes each for myself and partner.
Definitely needs attaching to wall to be more sturdy which we’ve not done yet as we want to paint first.
Going to add a trailing potted plant to the top shelf to complete the look!

Looks great in the hallway and feels solid too. Shame they didn’t pre-drill the frame so you could secure it directly to the wall. There is a small strap to do this but it was be better screwed direct to it. Other than this, great value for what your paying.

Very good quality for the cost. Very easy to put together. Loved that the Allen key had a Philips head screwdriver on one end. I have it in a guest bedroom where we accommodate all of our nieces and nephews. It’s ideal for hanging up the odd item of clothing and storing shoes and bags without taking up as much room as a wardrobe. I chose this model over others because of the handy shelf on top which other options didn’t have. The shelf does make it top heavy though so it does need to attached to the wall for safety.

I have been looking to buy this unit for sometime. I first saw it an another homewears website listed as a designer brand (not sure why it was sold as another brand), then saw it here cheaper. After reading the reviews, I have decided to buy it. It came yesterday and I could not resist putting it up straight away. It was well packed and everything needed to build the shelf was included including clear instructions. It was very easy to build, took me about half an hour mainly because the thread in one of the holes on the top shelf was faulty and I could not screw into it. The rest was perfect, even the shelf with the hooks that quite a few people mentioned in their reviews as being too short. Its a sturdy unit when built and looks very stylish. Good design provided bolted feet that you can adjust to stop the unit rocking on uneven floor. Im quite happy despite the issue with thread. I hope it durable too

Definitely needs attaching to the wall in my house and it it does come with adjustable feet and wall attachments/screws etc.
Very easy to put together, I did it on my own with a dodgy arm and mobility so did take me a couple of hours, a normal person with help could have it up and running in a matter of minutes thanks to the very easy to understand assembly instructions including clearly marked parts.

The hat and coat rack does the job well. Easy to assemble and a good inconspicuous space saver for a small flat. Only the edges are about head height so mind where you put it!

Defective screws
The look of this is lovely,however the section of wood that houses the hooks that hang the coats on,the screws at the end keep

Very easy to erect with no assistance required. Instructions very easy to follow and the packaging had stickies on to clearly identify each part which helped to ensure you were picking the correct piece during construction. Feels very solid and looks good in the vestibule.

Was not easy to build this due to some poor tolerance control on the screws/threads. The force required to turn the screws pulled several of the T-nuts out of the wood and I had to glue them back into place.
Once I eventually got it put together though it’s a great looking item and feels solid.

It is meant to be fixed to the wall. We haven’t done it but it’s good enough for us, however I’m sure it would make it more stable.
