Recently I brought one mixer, my mum saw the blender I was using she loved the colour and wanted to have one her own. I decided to buy this brand and the colours were very bright and shiny. She was very pleased with how it turned out.

I am very very pleased with this machine. The bowl is larger than my old machine but still mixes small amounts. I had no problem with the hook as some stated it broke after one use but I have used mine several times and not a problem. It sticks to the counter top brilliantly. Would recommend this no problem.

1) The main whisk does not reach close enough to the bottom of the bowl, so mixing does not work too well and one has to keep turning The machine off, lifting the head and use a spatula to mix in the bottom of the bowl.
2) The speed control is too small and could benefit from being larger and with indents. All to often when baking one can have wet or greasy hands and this knob becomes difficult to use.
Two Points where it gained:
Good SS bowl, easy to use, secures well and easy to clean.
Excellent suction cup feet, holds the mixer rock steady.
All in all excellent value for money, but a little care on the design side could make this a champion.

This is just a great kitchen gadget, not too expensive like some other brands and mixes the dough while I can do other things. Really happy, bought one for my daughter too because she always used mine.

Its a great little stand mixer ideal for smaller kitchens or smaller mixes etc. Its seems to have plenty of power and the suction cups on the base are really strong. My only criticism, the lowest speed is faster than I would like

It’s actually a very good product. I use it everyday for bread kneading and it does the job perfectly.

Great product and value for money
The only problem I have with this product is that when mixing it does not reach the bottom of the bowl. So I usually just lift the bowl up a little so that the whick reaches the bottom of the bowl.
It’s very good! it made my life easier but does have a loud noise when in process!
I absolutely love the product it’s so good and it does the job in minutes and it’s really easy to use and clean however it does have a very loud noise when it’s in process but it doesn’t matter since the product on it’s own is very good I love the quality and the money is worth it! Good basic machine for lighter cake mixes. Easy to use.
For a cheap food mixer this really does the job. It comes with a balloon whisk, beater and dough hook so the first thing I used it for was bread. If you’re looking at a normal bread dough I think you’ll break it pretty quickly. The top of the machine, from the hing up, moves around when the mixer is on so I lean on that until it gets going. For 65 a wee bit of movement is to be expected, it’s not a Kenwood after all. The bread dough I used was runnier than the recipe on the side of the packet so the machine just mixed away through the whole kneeding process and the bread was brilliant. I clean all the bits by hand but I guess that the mixing heads and bowl will probably go on the dishwasher if push came to shove. It’s a basic, compact and easy to use machine and, so far, I have few complaints. If I was to try something heavier in it, e.g. Christmas cake, pastry or bread dough, I think it would struggle. It has suction cups on the base to stick it to the worktop so it doesn’t dance around.

Good for its money
This was a good little buy. The first one I have ever had. Was bought for me by my husband as I had been baking alot why in lock down. It is easy to use so much so even my 9 year old son can use it and likes to. The only bad thing I would say about it and it is not very bad but it is loud.

It’s a good little processor for the price but it is a bit flimsy. So I’m happy with it but I wouldn’t buy it again.
Good product easy to use
Good mixer and doesn’t take to much room up. The suction pads a very sticky I put mine on top of a plastic chopping board so I can move it about.

I have tried this mixer once and it seems to be working perfecting. I like the different speed modes. It seems strong. The bowl is large and it is easy to clean. I find it a good deal for money.

Nice looking appliance
This mixer was bought for me as a gift, it looks and feels well made. I have not tested it to its full extent yet, but so far I am very pleased, it is not complicated to use and the tools are easily changed. I consider that it is very good value and I would recommend it.

Great value for money, very plastic however you cant expect the same quality you get from a kitchen aid or a Kenwood chef for a fraction of the cost. Manage your expectations and I’m sure you will be happy

I have wanted a mixer like this for years now. Totally delighted with this one. It gets used at least once a week, so easy to use, clean and a great feature on my countertop. The suction pads are so good, I leave the machine on a dish towel till I use the mixer. Would highly recommend this product.

Great little mixer. But...
For the money I think this is an excellent mixer. My only criticism is that with damp or greasy hands its impossible to turn on/off or change the speed. The knob needs serrations or to be made of something less slippy. Otherwise a fantastic mixe
Considering this was the lowest price food mixer available, its actually a very good quality item. It does what you need it to so I’d dedicate recommend it.
Brilliant product for the price. Much more expensive units on the market but I don’t need them for what I want to do so this is ideal.

I decided to get my baking hat on again after we purchased a brand new cooker; my old gas cooker was gradually getting worse for temp regulation making it impossible to get reliable bake meaning it just wasn’t worth the effort.
I used to bake regulary and mainly used a handheld mixer or and a wooden spoon. This mixer is a revelation! It really is so easy to use, I particularly love the fact it has splash guard – previously when baking there was always a fine layer of flour or icing sugar round the kitchen, not an issue with this mixer. I also like the fact I can measure further ingredients whilst the mix is safely going: something I couldn’t do with a handheld mixer or wooden spoon. The splash guard has a handy flap where you can add extra ingredients without stopping the mixer going.
I’ve baked with my neices (aged 7 and 13) and they loved it. Since my purchase I’ve baked every week at least once; it just makes baking that bit more straight forward when you have a busy life.
The unit itself is stylish, it’s very easy to take apart and clean and it has some strong suction pads on the bottom to ensure it stays put with the vibration of the mixing. It’s got several different speeds dependent on your needs. It does the job and I love it.

This mixer will suit most homes who like to bake. It comes with three tools, a hook tool for dough, a flatter tool, and an egg whisk. It has six speeds and tackled our cake making over the last month with no problems. I did not like the fitting of the splash panel, which allegedly fits with a click, all I could work out is that it is a quite tight and secure push fit. And I found that to change tools I sometimes had to remove the bowl from its stand to allow the new tool to be fitted which is a bit annoying- this despite that there are two positions for the mixer arm which I suppose is designed to give enough clearance. Its all quite basic and straightforward. Its not a professional model so you cannot make industrial quantities of fairy cakes or whatever, but perfectly suitable for family use. It will not move around your work top, no way, it is suction feet which grip very firmly so there is very little vibration from your appliance “walking” around your working surface. The mixer bowl is good quality stainless steel and quite strong and light, and holds 5 litres. My only caveat would be whether the motor is up to dealing with the maximum quantity of the bowl as it is rated at 1kW. But as I say, its family size.
This isn’t a food processor (product description says it is). It’s a stand mixer.
Good quality and good value. It mixes, stirs and blends effortlessly and without mess. I also use it to knead a light dough every day.
I love how effortless it makes everything. I had a multichef a long time ago that sadly got dropped in a move. This mixer is less powerful than the mixer on my multichef but it functions perfectly fine.
5 stars because it functions perfectly. I would like it to have a little more oomph but it’s fine for my needs. The price is good especially if you don’t need a blender or chopper so with mixer, you’re buying just the tool you need without paying extra for add-ons and accessories.
This is a good looking bit of kit. You need worktop space for it to live on or a large space in a cupboard! It works really well and is cheaper than other more well known brands. Really chuffed with this.
This is a conventional stand mixer of the type much loved by amateur bakers such as my wife. She has tested this over some weeks instead of her usual Kitchen Aid stand mixer, a much more expensive mixer and hence she was also particularly keen to see if the significant difference in cost was mirrored by reduced functionality.
The Venga has a six speed variable speed control, a 5 litre capacity stainless steel dishwasher safe mixing bowl complete with splash guard and three mixing attachments. The three attachments are not dishwasher safe but that is a relatively small inconvenience.
The mixing performance was, to be honest, surprisingly good given the modest cost of the mixer. It didn’t quite match the ability of the much more expensive KitchenAid to cope without any intervention with the heaviest of mixes but it was genuinely impressive. Anyone used to a hand mixer will see this Venga stand mixer as a significant improvement.
Too early to comment on durability and being a unfamiliar brand, also difficult to predict what long term spares support will be like. There are not yet the accessories available that you can get with more familiar household names but as a basic stand mixer at a very competitive price, there is a very attractive package for the occasional baker.
I think your reaction to this will depend on what you have been used to before. If you have only had a hand mixer you will find this a revelation. It is much more powerful, handles more product, and is very versatile. However, if you have previously used a Kenwood Chef or similar, you will be disappointed. It is less powerful than most of these, it lacks the add-ons such as a coffee-grinder or mincer, and it is noisier. But it has to be said, this product is far less expensive than most of the well-known food processors. It is also much easier to operate and takes less counter space. In conclusion I would say if you are looking for a simple step up from your hand-held mixer this is a good buy.
My wife has been using smaller Mixers, the type that you dismantle and pack in the Drawers. This is more of a permanent station so she had to find a space for it on our Kitchen Worktop. But it is worth it as it is much more comfortable to use. The mixing bowl is relatively larger. The whole mechanism delivers a much better processing experience. The results are relatively effortless compared to using our smaller mixers.
The machine looks good, nice finish. Components are easy to clean.
I’ve wanted a mixer like this for a while, as I’m trying my hand at baking. This makes mixing an absolute breeze. I love the quality finish on the mixer, and it’s pretty straight forward to use. It’s also very easy to clean as the utensils detach easily and so does the bowl. A great product for your kitchen.
I’ve never heard of Venga before but, upon opening the VGM 3014, I can see that regardless of their reputation they’ve made a decent mixer here.
This mixer comes with three mixing attachments ( a kneader, a stirrer and a whisk) all of which appear solid enough and of decent quality. The included 5L mixing bowl is much sturdier, although not heavy, and is made of quality stainless steel. Frustratingly perhaps, but no uncommonly, none of the attachments etc are dishwasher friendly. The mixer itself is sturdy and held well in place on the worktop by rubber suctioned feet, which work really well. The mixer has 6 selectable speeds and is about as noisy as you’d expect for a machine of this price (reasonably noisy,in short).
The mixer motor is 1000W although in use it has struggled with some tasks, losing it a star for me. Stirring and kneading have both been fine and produced quality results, but at mixing/whisking I’ve found the machine a little underpowered and at times gets to the point where nothing is being mixed, just stirred around the bowl (if that makes sense). Normal textures and consistencies are fine, but anything reasonably thick or gloopy and the machine has struggled a little.
This Venga machine is excellent value though, issue above aside.
