Yes this is expensive, but what a great tool!
Comes in a lovely box / carry case for all the bits to stay together, and room for a second battery (it comes with one, but I already have another spare from another device if the same brand).
Great safety features – and super easy to use. Mine came with a selection of good quality saw-bits, and it cuts 1-2mm steel as if it’s hardly there, and gives a smooth cut.
Made with tough quality plastic and solid steel fitments. Feels nice quality and firm. Cuts with a clean cut. You can set the angle for the blade, you can also set different pendulum settings for the blade for faster cuts in soft wood, (impressive), and it also comes with an attachment for your vacuum to pick up the sawdust.
All in all a great jigsaw. I appreciate this is a lot more expensive than others, but I’m delighted with it, and am happy that it feels like it will last a very long time!
This is the perfect tool for a beginner like myself. Previously I was using a cheaper corded Vonhaus Jigsaw which conked out after a few months of use. The Worx saw was a great replacement and much more easier to use. The features I like most is that it is cordless, so I don’t have to worry about tripping over the lead while using. It’s much safer than my Vonhaus saw. I also like the fact that it blows the dust away so I can easily see the line that I am cutting. The blades can also be changed in an instant without messing with any allen keys. All in all I am happy so far with this item. 5/5
Easy to use, blade attaches quickly, battery supplied is good enough, try a larger battery for longer jobs. Versatile and light to handle. Blade kit supplied gets you going from the start and the storage box keeps it together. Another Worx added to my growing collection. All have been used for various jobs and do it well.
