J’ai longtemps hsit entre le weebill S et le Ronin RSC2 et beaucoup de paramtres ont t pris en compte pour faire mon choix
QUALIT DE FABRICATION :
Niveau qualit de fabrication sans aucun doute, le Ronin RSC2 est au dessus rien ne bouge, et la qualit des matriaux est suprieure alors que les matriaux du weebill sont un peu plus cheap et une fois pli, a bouge un peu Aprs, rien de grave puisque les deux font le mme job
ENCOMBREMENT :
Mais ce qui pour moi a fait la diffrence entre les deux c’est d’abord l’encombrement le weebill est vraiment petit une fois pli et du coup plus besoin d’un second sac il passe dans mon sac photo/vido et est nettement plus compact que le Rsc2
ERGONOMIE :
L’ergonomie du weebill est galement au dessus : il y a 3 emplacements diffrents pour y mettre la poigne notamment celui qui vous permettra de tenir votre weebill par le dessus et qui vous permettra ainsi de faire des plans en contre plonge sans aucune manipulation l o le Ronin ncessitera des manipulations croyez moi, en prestation, ce laps de temps gagn en plein rush est essentiel !
J’apprcie particulirement la facilit d’accder la fonction Lock du Weebill qui se trouve rapidement sur un bouton sur le ct ct pour garder toujours le mme angle de vue.
Petit avantage quand mme au Ronin qui a des boutons plus qualitatifs et surtout plus loigns, l o parfois on a tendance appuyer sans le vouloir sur le Zihyun tellement il est compact.
D’autres parts, d’autres emplacements sont galement disponibles pour y placer votre cran externe sans adaptateur ou encore une torche
AUTONOMIE :
Niveau autonomie, sur le papier le ronin et le zihyun ont la mme autonomie de 12h, et on vous dit souvent qu’il y en a largement assez mais on oublie de vous prciser qu’avec le weebill S, vous avez aussi la possibilit de recharger vos appareils avec le cble fourni ce qui est essentiel notamment lorsqu’on utilise des appareils Sony de la gamme A6xxx o le changement de batteries est monnaie courante et l, le Weebill fait gravement la diffrence car vous n’aurez plus besoin d’enlever l’appareil pour changer les batteries toutes les demi heures cependant la batterie du Weebill S n’aura logiquement plus l’autonomie annonce puisqu’elle sera galement sollicit par votre appareil.
Mais les batteries du zihyun Weebill S sont facilement amovibles et interchangeables (les memes que le Crne 2) l o celles du RSC2 sont fixes Mais le Ronin permet une charge rapide grce son port USB-C mais dans le temps quelle sera la dure de vie de ces batteries ?
Pour ma part, j’ai tout simplement achet un nouveau pack de batteries pour le Zihyun pour assurer le coup et je suis sure que dans 3 ans, mon weebill aura encore la mme autonomie que le premier jour en changeant simplement le pack de batteries.
CONCLUSION:
Alors bien que la qualit de fabrication gnrale soit en faveur du Ronin RSC2 le Weebill S reste, selon moi, meilleur que bien des points : ergonomie, encombrement, batteries amovibles, fonction de charge de la camra et ce sera mon choix final aprs mre rflexion.

Relacin calidad precio, si tienes una cmara semi profesional o profesional, es la mejor opcin dentro de los estabilizadores. Su capacidad de montar el mango a tu antojo es el elemento que ms le diferencia de la competencia. Sumado a todo ello, cuenta con mltiples opciones de movimiento de motores. 100% recomendado.
La nica pega por la cual se lleva 4 estrellas en lugar de 5 es su embalaje. Pese que todo se encuentra muy bien distribuido, el material se puede romper con facilidad (ya que es de una especie de corcho negro). Ya que es un producto profesional y, en cierto modo, frgil, hubiera estado bien una maleta ms dura.
En conclusin, en cuanto al ZHIYUN WEEBIL-S, se trata de un producto de muy buena calidad y que proporciona unos resultados excelente. Muy buena compra.
Por otro lado, si lo que buscas es un estabilizador para una cmara profesional de grandes dimensiones, mi recomendacin se acerca ms a su versin superior: ZHIYUN CRANE. Esta versin pesa mucho ms y hace que sea ms incmoda. Sin embargo, se trata de un estabilizador que aguanta mucho ms peso que el SHIYUN WEEBIL-S.
The best gimbal I've ever had
I have used several gimbal systems. Some for DSLR, some for mobile phones. This one is the best hands down. It’s very lightweight, yet sturdy and very, very easy to set up. The lockable axis system makes it so easy to balance the system even if there is a weight change in the system. The screen makes every adjustment so easy without having to use the phone app. All other functions are smartly designed and easy to use. The balance of the system is one of the best so far even without any fine-tuning.

I had a few gimbals over the past few years. This by far is the more superior one out of all the gimbals I used and tested. It isn’t perfect like all gimbals. But it is an essential piece of kit for anytype of videography. It gives you the freedom of movement and that’s a big deal as videographer or content creator. I didn’t like the idea of having a battery compartment. However now I can’t live without it. Traditional gimbals require charging via micro or type c. But, this gimbal has a battery compartment. This mean you can buy additional rechargeable batteries. So when you are running low you can quickly swap the batteries and you are good to go for hours.

J’ai eu le ronin sc, je l’ai immdiatement renvoy car il ne support pas mon sony a6400 avec le 18 105. Une horreur ! Limite je crois qu’il tais dfectueux. Puis j’ai trouv celui ci. SUPER !!!! Moteur puissant, facile a balanc, aucuns problmes de poids ! En plus il est plus petit ! Passer en mode panasonic pour les gens qui utilise sony pour avoir toutes les fonctions iso etc…

Very strong for what it is. Can hold more than you think. Just be careful with the axis locks, they are not really meant for locking the axis with the camera on it and traveling with it all connected. The locking axis is basically for balancing, which works great.

Best gimbal today
I believe this is the best gimbal (in its category) as of this writing. I used to have Crane 2, and this Weebil S gimbal seems to be superior in almost every way. Unless your camera gear is more than this little guy can handle, I wouldn’t look at anything else. And according to reviews, Weebil S has motors just as strong as Crane 2. But the unit itself is way more portable, lighter and more pleasant to use.

Pensaba que me iba a costar utilizar este estabilizador, ya que vengo de otras marcas como ronnin o mozzart y pensaba que cada vez que lo iba a utilizar me tendra que llevar un buen rato para estabilizarlo. Con las ayudas que tiene de bloquear el movimiento para que lo estabilices parte por parte se hace super cmodo y super rpido. Lo mejor de todo es que aguanta un peso elevado y es pequeo y muy fcil de llevar. Es super cmodo trabajar con el. Aparte le compre un maletn rgido para llevarlo mas protegido y mas cmodo. Una super compra y estoy muy contento.

Espectacular la verdad, al principio cuesta un poco de entender, sobretodo si eres un novato como yo, la gua de uso no explica nada, difcil de configurar si no tienes experiencia previa, pero viendo vdeostutoriales se aprende rpido, recomendable para cmaras sin espejo, la estabilidad es una pasada.
J’ai utilis deux Gimbals lors des 4 dernires annes avant de renouveler mon quipement et prendre celui-ci (que j’ai maintenant depuis 6 mois).
Il m’est donc facile de comparer ou de voir les diffrentes volutions dans le monde des stabilisateurs lectroniques.
Tout d’abord, le point le plus important:
Un Gimbal peut tre bien fini, avoir une dizaine d’options rvolutionnaires ou utiles, si il ne peut pas supporter votre setup, il ne sert rien.
Ensuite, quelque soit la marque du gimbal que vous utiliserez, vous obtiendrez bien les mmes rsultats. Il n’y aura pas de grandes diffrences au niveau de la stabilisation.
C’est donc sur d’autres critres qu’il faut choisir telle ou telle marque de gimbal.
Et plutt que de choisir la qualit de finition (DJI SC2), j’ai privilgi la facilit d’utilisation et la compacit.
En quoi je trouve que Weebill S est mieux que les autres gimbal actuellement sur le march?
C’est tout simplement son form factor (design spcifique) qui fait une grosse diffrence.
– tout d’abord, trs compact, il est plutt lger et trouve sa place facilement dans mon sac.
– permet de filmer sans transition d’une position raz-de-terre vers hauteur d’homme.
– filmer mi-hauteur sans avoir besoin de flchir les jambes.
– permet de filmer en underslung mode sans avoir besoin de retourner le gimbal. L’cran du boitier reste bien visible.
– toutes les fonctions ont un bouton ddi. Ce qui permet de passer de l’un l’autre aisment et rapidement. L’cran du gimbal permet de savoir dans quel mode on se trouve (si on oublie).
– pas besoin d’application sur smartphone pour rgler le gimbal.
Sinon dans le pack pro, le transmetteur vido fait le job.
La transmission de l’image vers mon smartphone se passe sans accrocs.
Les seuls avantages que je trouve au DJI RS2 par exemple, c’est:
– la qualit de finition gnrale du produit.
– les boutons de lock qui sont bien mieux pens et solides (Ceux du weebill S sont aussi utiles, mais en comparaison, ils semblent trs fragiles).
– la prise en main de la poigne qui semble trs agrable.
Mais voil, j’ai prfr un produit qui ne me limite pas dans mes prises de vue, qui sont aussi facilits par le form factor du Weebill S.
Maintenant, si je trouve le weebill S adapt pour le voyage et les mariages, si je devais prendre un Gimbal pour du corporate, j’aurai un peu plus confiance avec un DJI RSC2 (pas le RS2).
The gimbal does everything I need it to once I got my head around balancing it, which didn’t take as long as I thought. One thing I will say, I’m glad I didn’t buy this because of the app because I tried it and it didn’t seem to work that well. I’m pleased I didn’t spend the extra money on the wireless transmitter and I base this on the usability and functionality of the app. I am however really pleased with the gimbal which is great value for money and works really well with my BMPCC 4k (once counterbalanced with a little Smallrig weight on the right hand side). This was only necessary due the weight distribution of BMPCC 4K.

Le Weebill S est la fois compact et robuste et le packaging soign (beaucoup de cables sont fournis pour connecter tout les appareils supports).
Test pour le moment avec un Sony A6400 et objectif kit mais je compte l’utiliser avec un objectif plus imposant et des accessoires l’avenir et au vu de son excellente ractivit je pense qu’il n’aura aucun mal les supporter.
La mise en place est simple et rapide, le systme de lock trs intuitif pour l’quilibrage et la plaque de fixation amovible vraiment pratique pour retirer la camra et accder la batterie / carte SD.
La prise en main est trs agrable, j’apprcie tout particulirement la seconde poigne qui une fois en position haute permet une trs grande maniabilit sans effort!
Changer de mode est trs facile d’accs et dynamique grce la gchette et avec un peu de pratique je ne doute pas que a va devenir une seconde nature!
De quoi amliorer drastiquement la qualit des prises, hte de l’prouver d’avantage!

El Gimbal es brutal,,, funciona genial, pero he tenido problemas con la conexin de la transmisin inalmbrica de la imagen, el manual no lo explica nada bien, en la pgina tampoco, el servicio postventa una mierd,,, an estoy esperando que me den una solucin o me expliquen algo, gracias a los tutoriales de YouTube he conseguido saber el orden correcto de conexin de los equipos (Gimbal+Cmara+Transmisor+App+Weebell) que no es necesario el cable ancho de USB del transmisor a la cmara, etcccccc, pero he tenido que investigar por mi cuenta,,, ya os digo,, post venta una M.

A brilliant gimbal, especially with the focus and transmission pack
Great for recording videos, panoramics and timelapses. Makes videos look extremely professional and no jerky movements within your footage when moving or following an object.
I am a huge fan of the transmission feature as I can link my phone and an ipad to the gimbal, which allows me and others to view the recording in real time. Offers great features too (with compatible cameras), such as object tracking. Leaving the camera stationary using the tripod and tracking an object and being able to move the camera and follow the object manually too adds great POV depth to the video.
If you are an enthusiast or a serious content maker, I highly recommend this gimbal!

If you are looking for the perfectly stable shot, this is the tool for the job. On cameras that have in body stabilisation, you are going to get very good results with this. On cameras with no in body stabilisation, you are going to get phenomenal results. Once you set this up, which does take a little patience, it’s done and the clip on mounting system means that you don’t have to keep setting up. Great battery, fairly light and easy to manoeuvre. There is also a top and bottom mount, for low shots, and a remote app that works on your smartphone, which is pretty cool. All in all, if you are out and about and want to take stable video, this is the tool for the job.

Once you figure everything out it is a great addition to my equipment portfolio. Replace a Ronin M that I just never used as it was too much work to take onsite. I have used this more in the first week than I did the Ronin in the last 6 months. Set up instructions are not adequate but there is plenty of information available online.

Great Gimbal with many features but....
After a few previous gimbal purchases (one of which stopped working within minutes!) I thought this one would be the correct choice for my camcorder…. it can certainly cope with the weight (camcorder is about 1kg with battery) and gimbal + camcorder is light enough to hold for a good length of time. I had researched a lot on this before deciding to purchase and even found a video of a guy in a shop in China (I think) using this gimbal with same camcorder (Sony AX700) seemingly with no problems. But as can be seen from the picture, the problem with all these gimbals is that the camcorder (when properly balanced on all axis) hits the back motor with the top of viewfinder. I guess the guy in the video did not have the camera properly balanced on ALL axis?
Anyway I hope to be able to correct this problem by adding a few gimbal counterweights to the rear of camcorder although not sure how to mount them… a bit of trail and error I guess!
The gimbal itself feels well made and as stated, is nice and light. The back handle option is really good and feels just right for those low shots. I think purchase of a second handle/tripod stand is a must for full versatility and the fact that this gimbal is part of an expandable system with great accessories including a HD video transmitter is a big plus.
I have not had this item long enough for full review of functions or battery life etc. but I will add to this over time.

Most awesome purchase for cinematography enthusiasts. The seller is super efficient. It was ordered on a Saturday , got confirmed on Monday, received the item by Wednesday. I’m pretty happy with the delivery service. Product is sturdy, legit and overall overwhelming, Physical Quick guide inside the package with Detailed Uset Manual on the product manufacturer App. Setting it up is very interesting. Overall satisfied customer here. I havent maximize its features though like the record button and the lens focus wheel because it requires additional accessories. My suggestion is to read more about camera compatibility since certain cameras are much suitable for this gymbal. but despite that it has been a great , my videos are much more stable and i can get a lot creative with it.

With the weight in my cam iys quite heavy to hold with just a hand. Im sure its held woth two hands to even capture more stable shots

I bought the Zhiyun Weeble S after my Zhiyun crane 1 finally kicked the bucket. I got it for a commercial shoot for a hard hat film with actors at Big Sky Studios in London. I work as a videographer for Nomadic Creatives Ltd. Here are my thoughts:
Our setup – GH5 in a cage, Metabones speedbooster XL with the Samyang 50mm F1.4
Box – unlike the Zhiyun Crane 1 it doesn’t come with carry case which is a bit annoying, but it’s easy to store away.
Weight limit – it handled the weight absolutely fine, balancing was a doddle thanks to the locking arms.
Stability – it’s okay, needs a good bit of tweaking to get smooth in the settings. But miles off something like a Ronin M or Movi out of the box, you can get close but it takes a lot of time to learn how it moves.
Focus wheel – it’s okay, it’s very cheap and it does an okay job. It’s fly by wire so there’s 0 consistency and it’s slow to react and difficult to master compared to a pro system.
Zhiyun transmission app – it worked fine in a test setup at home, but in the studio it was so unreliable but that could of been something to do with the location. After waiting an hour on set we just sacked it off.
Overall it’s excellent value, but it’s built at a price point, if you have more money there are better options but it’s good for the price.

Perfect Gimbal for travelling
If you are looking for a gimbal which you can take everywhere then I can recommend this gimbal. Quality is very good, easy to balance.
Works well & gets you great sooth footage
Its small/compact but still so powerful with the ability to hold cameras eith large lenses & attachments.
I used this to home my A7III 16-35mm G-master lense with a video shotgun mic on top fillining for an hour no problems.
The motors are very quiet so not much noise in the video footage.
Very good video stabilisation & enables you to get some footages that wouldn’t habe been possible without using this gimbal – getting different angles and perspectives (e.g. I put it on a monopod and got great footage low to to high effects).
Ich besitze den Gimbal Zhiyun Weebill-S jetzt seit knapp 4 Wochen und habe bei 5 greren Wanderungen im Harz damit gefilmt. Somit kann ich mir nun ein erstes Urteil erlauben und meine Erfahrungen teilen.
Um das Fazit gleich vorwegzunehmen – den Zweck, fr den ich mir den Gimbal gekauft habe, erfllt er voll und ganz. Ich filme vorrangig auf Reisen mit meiner Familie – da das wegen Corona derzeit nicht geht, muss der Harz als Motiv herhalten. Allerdings betreibe ich Filmen nur als Hobby und verdiene damit kein Geld – demzufolge habe ich auch keine Crew um mich herum, die fr guten Ton, richtiges Licht usw. sorgt. Auch die Wiederholung einer Aufnahme ist eher selten mglich – der erste Schuss muss also sitzen. Da ist ein Gimbal genau die richtige Untersttzung.
Meine Erfahrungen beziehen sich auf folgende Hardwarekombination
Zhiyun Webill-S in der Grundausstattung
Camcorder Sony FDR-AX53 mit zustzlicher Sonnenblende und aufgestecktem Mikrofon Sennheiser MKE440 mit Windschutz
Remote-Controller JJC SR-F2
Vor dem Kauf hatte ich mir natrlich schon die Produktvideos zum Webell-S auf YouTube angesehen und hatte etwas Zweifel, ob meine Kamera-Mikrofon-Kombination berhaupt passt. Offiziell untersttzt wird sie nmlich nicht. In der Liste finden sich berhaupt keine Camcorder – warum ist das eigentlich so?
In den meisten Videos werden schwere Digitalkameras mit Vollformatsensor und dicken Objektiven gezeigt. Das Gewicht meiner Ausrstung ist deutlich geringer – die Motoren sollten also die Last bewltigen knnen.
Erstaunlicherweise ist aber auf keinem der Videos an den Kameras ein Mikrofon angeschlossen. Fr ein gutes Bild werden 5.000,- und mehr ausgegeben aber fr den O-Ton wird das kamerainterne Mikro genommen?
Das kam fr mich nicht in Frage. Also entweder passt meine Kamera mit leistungsfhigem Mikrofon auf den Gimbal oder der Gimbal passt nicht zu mir – ich habe ja keine Tontechniker um mich herum.
So habe ich meine Kamera mit der zum Lieferumfang gehrenden Schnellwechselplatte verbunden, das Mikro befestigt, beides auf den Gimball gesteckt und erstmal alle denkbaren Achsenbewegungen mit der Hand getestet.
Und ich hatte Glck – meine Ausrstung passt. Jetzt ging es ans Ausballancieren. Dank der wirklich guten und reichlich verfgbaren Anleitungen bei YouTube habe ich das hinbekommen. Aber Achtung – so ausbalancieren, wie man spter auch filmt. Bei mir hie das: Mikrofon und Sonnenblende anbringen, Objektivschutzkappe abnehmen und den seitlichen Monitor aufklappen. Meine Kombination aus Kamera und Mikrofon bleibt in jeder noch so verwinkelten Stellung stabil stehen (siehe Fotos). Damit waren die wirklich wichtigen Voraussetzungen fr die Nutzung des Gimbals gegeben.
Auch beim nchsten Schritt habe ich mich an die offizielle Empfehlung gehalten und noch vor der ersten Benutzung die Firmware auf den neusten Stand gebracht. Ausgeliefert wurde mein Gimbal mit Firmware 1.89, die schon auf Produktvideos zu sehen war, die mehr als 6 Monate alt waren. Entsprechend gro war der Sprung – Mitte Mai gab es Firmware 1.96. Das Update ber die Smartphone-App lief aber problemlos.
Nchster Schritt: Individual-Konfiguration. Hier habe ich eigentlich nur den Kamerahersteller auf Sony gestellt und das Laden des Kamera-Akkus abgeschaltet (damit kam meine Kamera nicht zurecht).
Auerdem habe ich der Empfehlung folgend das Auto-Tuning fr die Motoren durchgefhrt. Eigentlich hatte ich erwartet, dass der Gimbel jetzt die Kamera in alle mglichen Positionen bringt. Das war aber nicht so – etwas Zittern aller Motoren soll gereicht haben.
Nun habe ich noch alle Akkus aufgeladen und dann ging es am nchsten Morgen raus zum ersten Drehtag mit insgesamt 6 Stunden in mittelschwerem Gelnde.
Positiv berrascht war ich davon, dass mich das Gewicht von Gimbal, Kamera und Mikrofon den ganzen Tag lang gar nicht gestrt hat.
Den Stativfu habe ich fast durchgngig an der Schwenkachse befestigt, so kann ich die Ausrstung gut tragen und auch beim Filmen bis zur Augenhhe gut halten. Erst fr berkopf-Aufnahmen schraube ich den Stativfu unten an, das kommt aber selten vor.
Mit dem Sony-Setup des Gimbals kann ich an meiner Kamera Video Start/Stopp mit dem roten Knopf des Gimbals ausfhren und mit dem Navi-Knopf zoomen. Allerdings haben beide Knpfe einen recht festen Druckpunkt. Das verhindert zwar versehentliches Auslsen, sorgt aber bei mir leider fr Nebengerusche.
ber das Kameragehuse wird Start/Stopp als lauter Plopp und das Drcken des Zooms mit einem hrbaren Knacken auf den O-Ton bertragen. Bei Start/Stopp knnte ich damit leben, da ich immer genug Spielraum fr den spteren Schnitt des Filmes aufnehme. Ich wei, dass Zoom-Fahrten nicht unbedingt professionell sind, aber gelegentlich wirken sie doch. Da kann man am O-Ton aber oft nichts manipulieren – das Knacken strt sehr. So habe ich mich dafr entschieden, den Gimbal nicht fr die Kamerasteuerung zu verwenden.
Statt dessen nutze ich eine Zubehrschiene am seitlichen Gewinde, das eigentlich fr die Handyhalterung gedacht ist. Auf dieser ist meine Fernbedienung der Kamera befestigt, die gleich auch noch mehr Funktionen untersttzt, als der Gimbal. Da das am fixen Teil des Gimbals befestigt ist, blieb die Balance erhalten.
Die zweite Erfahrung, die der erste Drehtag brachte, betrifft die Geschwindigkeit der Bewegungen, die man manuell mit dem Joystick ausfhren kann. Die hatte ich ja auf Werkseinstellung gelassen, sie waren mir aber zu hektisch. Da bietet der Gimbal aber unglaublich viele Konfigurationsmglichkeiten, die man dank des Displays direkt am Gimbal vornehmen kann. So habe ich mir nach und nach die fr mich passende Geschwindigkeit fr die einzelnen Bewegungen eingestellt. Mein Tipp hierzu: schreibt Euch die Werte alt und neu auf. Falls es zu viel war oder gar in die falsche Richtung verstellt wurde, kann man das besser korrigieren. Wenn gar nichts mehr geht, knnte man diese Konfigurationen auch komplett auf Werkseinstellungen zurcksetzen, ohne gleich auch alle Anpassungen in den anderen Menpunkten zu verlieren.
Die dritte Erfahrung des ersten Drehtages betrifft die Motorenjustierung. Meine Kamera ist relativ leicht und hat durch das aufgesetzte Mikrofon einen recht hohen Masseschwerpunkt. Das macht sich so lange nicht bemerkbar, so lange ich den Gimbal annhernd senkrecht halte und das Neigen der Kamera nach vorne ber den Joystick ausfhre. Wenn ich aber im Follow-Modus den ganzen Gimbal nach vorne neige, wird offenbar der Schwerpunkt so weit nach vorne verlagert, dass der Kippachsenmotor mit starken Vibrationen reagiert. Das liegt aber wirklich an meiner Kamera-Mikrofon-Kombination. Doch selbst dieses Problem konnte ich lsen. Ich habe im Men das Motordrehmoment auf “volle Kraft” gestellt und damit die automatische Justierung wieder rckgngig gemacht. Das fhrt vermutlich zu dauerhaft hherem Stromverbrauch, hat aber mein Problem komplett beseitigt. Mein bisher lngster Drehtag war 9 Stunden lang, danach hatten die vorher voll geladenen Akkus des Gimbals immer noch 50 % Kapazitt. Das wrde also auch fr ein Camping-Wochenende ohne Lademglichkeiten reichen. Bei solchen Events habe ich aber sowieso immer eine kleine Powerbank dabei. Also habe ich die Einstellung so belassen.
Um die Wirkung des Gimbals auf das Filmmaterial besser beurteilen zu knnen, habe ich mit dem Gimbal Ende Mai eine Wanderung wiederholt, auf der ich im April mit der gleichen Kamera aber unter Nutzung des Manfrotto Modosteady 585 gefilmt hatte. Ich wei – der Vergleich ist ungerecht, aber die Clips aus dem April sind jetzt im Papierkorb meines Schnittrechners. Das typische Zittern der Hnde (sieht man bei 4K-Videos besonders gut), gleicht die Steady-Funktion meines Camcorders schon gut aus. Mit Gimbal ist nun gar nichts mehr davon zu erkennen. Den grten Gewinn habe ich aber bei Schwenks, die nun butterweich ausgefhrt sind und bei denen die Kamera vor allem immer waagerecht bleibt. Dazu muss ich anmerken, dass ich in den Modi Follow, Pan & Follow und Lock filme. Mit POV und Vortex habe ich nur kurz experimentiert, das ist eher was fr Action- und Musikfilmer. Da kann ich also nicht ber eigene Erfahrungen berichten.
Auch Aufnahmen, bei denen ich als Kameramann selber in Bewegung bin, sind natrlich mit einem Gimbal deutlich besser.
Damit wird alles das, wofr ich den Gimbal brauche, untersttzt. Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut, filmen macht nun noch mehr Spa und der Aufwand bei der Nachbearbeitung ist ganz nebenbei auch kleiner geworden.
Last but not least mchte ich mich noch bei Letty vom Zhiyun-Service bedanken. Sie hat mich super untersttzt, als DHL die Lieferung verschlampt hat. Nachdem wir von DHL nur noch Ausreden gehrt haben, hat sie mir ganz unbrokratisch das Geld zurck berwiesen und ich habe neu bestellt. Nach nur 3 Tagen hatte ich dann einen Gimbal. Guter Service eines Herstellers ist auch nicht zu unterschtzen.
Il Weebill S strepitoso e funziona egregiamente. La cosa comunque che ci tengo ad evidenziare l’assistenza che mi stata fornita per un grosso problema con la consegna e che mi ha fatto capire che la Zhiyun un’azienda veramente orientata al cliente e pronta a risolvere rapidamente qualunque problema. Per il resto ho fatto una recensione video dei punti di forza e delle debolezze di questo gimbal. Non sono entrato nei dettagli dell’apparecchio perch si trovano gi molti tutorial su YouTube e non volevo essere prolisso.

Il Gimbal che cercavo. Con tutte gli accessori che ho messo una potenza, trasmettitore, Servo Zoom, cintura e mono pad telescopico, un po’ peso ma ne vale la pena. Tante funzioni per uno stabilizzatore super. Come tutti i prodotti ZHIYUN poi, niente da dire, dal “Packaging” alla consegna al valore dei prodotti. Oltre a ci, hanno un customer service impareggiabile, in special modo una certa Helen che gentile all’ennesima potenza ed anche preparata, come dicono gli inglesi “THUMBS UP” Big time.
Not compatible with Canon 7D ii
The reviews where very good and it was recommended highly by a friend. So I bought the weebill s with focus controller. When it was delivered it was very well packed and everything looked sturdy. Unfortunately I did not realise that there is no cable available that is compatible with the Canon 7D ii. Devastated to have it returned
I edited a lot of small clips in the past. Most of them with a GoPro. Finally got a DSLR (Sony a7iii) and the image quality is of course not compareable to the GoPro! But the stabilisation of the camera during shooting was a big problem just when you are following people walking or filming action shots. First I tried a few manual Steady Cams. The result was not bad, but it wasn’t like I imagined. In search of a real gimbel I found this Weebill S and I am totally happy with this gadget. It works perfectly, you don’t even have to do a lot of adjustments before starting and you can also equip the gimbel with a few more features without rebuilding it. I can only agree with the positiv reviews already apear here.
In addition: I can just recogment to buy the master package, if you are planing to transfer your image to your phone or want to get an associated product from Zhiyun for the Weebill S – it is much cheaper at all!!!
I was so dumb and bought the gimbel and the image transmitter seperatly and planing know to get the other gadgets like the mobile phone holder as well. I contacted the Zhiyun Team and they answerd very quickly and offered me a big price discount. Thanks for that 🙂
Pequeñas trabas en los motores.
Debo mencionar que apesar de calibrarlo adecuadamente, tuve algunos pequeos brincos o trabadas en los motores, pero de ahi en mas no tuve problemas. Me hubiera gustado que viniera en estuche para transportarlo, pero no es asi. Al final me gusto y pude usarlo para mi proyecto.
Great piece of kit to really improve your film making
I shoot a lot of handheld exercise videos where I’m having to track moving subjects and the Weebill S has made my life so much easier whilst at the same time hugely improved the quality of the footage I’m able to produce. It opens up a huge array of creative possibilities which I’m only just discovering and really looking forward to exploring. It’s also very compact and when coupled with a mirrorless camera like the Sony A7iii makes for a very compact set up. For the money it’s great value and will hugely improve your film making. Highly recommended.

Il prodotto compatto e robusto. Molto potente rispetto a quelle che sono le sue dimensioni. La mia Sony A73 con il 28-75 f2.8 ci sta da Dio. La costruzione non ti fa rimpiangere prodotti pi costosi e pesanti come il Ronin s. La calibrazione facilissima rispetto ad altri stabilizzatori. I tasti sono funzionali e facili da capire. I cavetti permettono il controllo dei parametri della camera. Le funzioni che ha questo stabilizzatore ti permettono di essere creativo senza mai avere problemi di morbidezza e instabilit. infine il packaging molto bello, consegnato in una confezione molto bella!
lo uso per lavoro e dopo aver fatto il primo evento sono rimasto sorpreso dalla qualit del prodotto !

Septique au dpart d’utiliser des stabilisateurs lectroniques et au final conquit ! Le Zhiyun weebill-s est polyvalent, pratique et lger.
Je conseille de mettre une optique lgre et de rgler la puissance des moteurs en mdium ce qui optimisera la fluidit de ses mouvements et allgera le poids en bout de bras ce qui n’est pas ngligeable. De plus cela permet d’accessoiriser le botier (cage, FFocus, cbles…).
Un gros plus pour la poigne avec revtement grip (non prsent sur le Zhiyun crane) qui est dmontable et interchangeable.
Un norme plus pour l’autonomie qui pour un botier type GH5 + cage + lumix 12-60 s’lve 15H !
Rangement dans un sac moyen qui prendra la surface de 2/3 d’une feuille A4.
Pensez bien bloquer les moteurs pour le rangement et les dbloquer pour l’utilisation.
Ein Gerät, welches große Freude mach
Ein wunderbares Gert. Toll in Design und Verarbeitung. Und auch ohne Kenntnisse lsst sich das Gimbal intuitiv bedienen. Ich benutze es mit der Canon EOS 90d und dem 18-135 UMS. passt alles super. Leichte Einschrnkung gibt es mit aufgesetztem Wireless Go von Rode im Blitzschuh. Aber eigentlich kann man damit auch gut filme
Es mi primer gimbal, pero fue muy fcil de manejar, los resultados son muy satisfactorios, estabiliza muy bien y la duracin de la batera tambin es buena.
Contras: No traa manual de usuario completo, solo viene un manual de armado rpido, tuve que recurrir a Youtube para poder balancearlo correctamente, calibrar los motores y saber algo mas de las funciones.
Tambin hay algo raro con el software, lo use con una Sony A6000 y no reconoca la cmara, no poda mover los settings o iniciar/detener la grabacin, tuve que elegir otra marca de cmara en el men del gimbal y solo as funciono todo correctamente.
En general estoy muy satisfecho, por el precio que tiene es una gran opcin.
Qualità e assistenza
Ero un po’ titubante quando ho comprato il Weebill-S vista la precedente esperienza con un altro gimbal di marca differente (preferisco non citarlo) provato sulla mia Canon 6D con 24-70 f4 IS e del quale purtroppo ero rimasta delusa dai problemi riscontrati, tanto da doverlo restituire. Il Weebill-s in realt trasmette una sensazione di qualit anche solo al primo approccio: buon grip dove serve, costruzione in metallo, aggancio/sgancio rapido Arca Swiss (comodissimo per staccare la macchina al volo e magari riattaccarla al cavalletto) e soprattutto una stabilizzazione ottima e fluida, senza incertezze o scatti vari (ora lo sto usando con Sony A7III). Comodissima la possibilit di svitare (o sganciare, se si comprano gli attacchi rapidi da 30 a parte) il treppiede e usarlo avvitato in alto per riprese basse od orizzontali; una soluzione che a mio parere dovrebbero adottare tutti (ad esempio sul FeiyuTech AK2000S che avevo anche valutato, possibile avvitare un accrocchio esterno per impugnarlo cos, ma tutto un altro pianeta). Perfetta anche la portabilit per le dimensioni (ci sta comodamente nello zaino con l’attrezzatura, svitando solo il treppiede) e il peso sotto il chilogrammo. Un ottima impressione l’ho avuta anche dall’assistenza Zhiyun, veloce e disponibile: li ho contattati per due volte e mi hanno sempre risposto nelle 24 ore successive sia per email personalmente (grazie ancora Helen!) che nella pagina ufficiale del supporto Zhiyun, risolvendo i miei dubbi o problemi. Che dire, questa volta sono veramente soddisfatta
Holy s**t there is a reason this thing gets raved about by so many people. It is absolutely amazing and the build quality is some of the best I’ve seen in any item ever! That sounds like an exaggeration but seriously, this thing feels SOLID. The care and detail that have been put into this design make it feel like something worth $1000 nevermind $450. I am super impressed.

I was so happy. The weebil S fits my heavier lenses with no issue! And the gimbal itself and with the camera on is so light I couldn’t ask for anything better!!! It’s amazing!!
You even have a phone app which works so easily and you can even just move your phone to control the weebil! It’s amazing!
Zhiyun keeps surprising me with how much they can do with such small gimbals!
They have even made the flip handle with more space and believe it or not but it’s folds even smaller for packing then the weebil lab.
They have also made a new locking system so everything is much stronger!

Locating compatibility information on this gimbal was not that easy … I did determine from various website that this Weebil S Gimbal will work for the Canon EOS-R camera. Be forewarned though that using the camera with many of the currently available RF lenses will be too heavy for the gimbal and you will never achieve proper start-up balance. My EF 50mm and 85mm prime lenses work well as does the 35mm RF prime … all of the other RF zoom type lenses are too front heavy to be used on the gimbal.
This is a nice gimble, however it is not 100% compatible with my Sony A7iii camera. I returned it based on that without any trouble at all.
Semplicemente fantastico! leggero, pratico e funzionale! Ottimo il fatto che c’ un display dal quale puoi impostare al meglio tutte le funzioni, dalla potenza dei motori in base al peso che ci metti e ottimo il fatto che se hai una Sony A7III puoi anche ricaricare la batteria tramite gimbal. Fatto molto bene sia nelle parti costruttive che nelle impostazioni, ‘ piccolo da stare nella parte superiore del mio zaino fotografico cos da non rifare la calibrazione ogni volta anche se per farla ci vogliono 2 minuti di orologio! Anche l’app molto intuitiva e semplice da usare.Puoi anche manovrare il gimbal dall’app! Preso ad un ottimo prezzo insieme a vari accessori per il Black Friday! Se cerchi un gimbal leggero, fatto bene e ad un prezzo molto abbordabile te lo consiglio. Spedizione pi che ottima, nonostante il periodo di Black Friday arrivato con un giorno di anticipo… che dire… questo Amazon!
Works great. I switched from the ronin s to this one and I’m glad I did. The movements are smoother and the positioning of the top handle is perfect. So far the heaviest set up I’ve used was the a7iii with an 1.8 85mm. Worked great. I also like that there’s an extra 1/2 20 on the side of the top grip for an external monitor.
I am very please to say that I love this gimbal not only have I been a fan of this brand because I started with the Crane 1. It was a big change from where I started to this the motors run very smooth it could support a lot of weight I'm using a full frame Sony with a tamron lens. No problems have used it already for 2 events it's very mobile and small but yet powerful

The best Gimbal that you can get!
I have bought the ”Pro Package” with the image transmission, and it works perfectly really easy to balance and really easy to understand how it works right out of the box, even for people that haven’t used a gimbal before.
I have compared it with other more expensive and more known brands in the market. And I think it’s the best one that you can get right now, and at a very good price.

Zhiyun Weebill S Gimbal
An extremely well-thought-out gimbal with good ergonomics. Build quality is very good and works well with my Sony A6000 camera to produce some lovely cinematic footage. Very portable and compact with its size with lockable arms. Two main reasons, why I purchase this gimbal over others was 1) can use heavier camera’s and Len’s (motors strong) 2) Very compact in size 3) Control settings within the gimbal itself. Overall a very well-designed gimbal and key bit of equipment for any filming enthusiast.
J’avais le Weebill Lab et effectivement les moteurs sont beaucoup plus robustes sur le Weebill S ! Lorsque je souhaite filmer des scnes d’action rapide, le Weebill S rponds dans la seconde de manire fluide avec toujours un belle amorti sur la fin.
Pas plus grand qu’une feuille A4, c’est aujourd’hui le stabilisateur le plus lger et le plus compact du march pour les hybrides.
Si vous tes la recherche d’un Gimbal pratique, efficace et simple mettre en place, vous pouvez partir sur ce modle les yeux ferms. De plus je trouve que les commandes pour quilibrer le boitier sont beaucoup mieux penss que sur le Weebill Lab.
Concernant la construction, rien redire, c’est excellent !
A well worthy piece of equipme

Ich bin komplett ein Neuling was Gimbalfhrung bzw. Benutzung davon angeht. Im Grunde hab ich mich immer wieder informiert was aktuell auf dem Markt bis der Weebill S rauskam. Perfekt eigentlich fr mich! Kompakt, stark und kann meine Sony a7M3 mit dem 35mm 1,4f von Zeiss tragen. Mein Problem war neben dem fehlenden Wissen, das die Tilt Achse (also die Achse welche die Kamera nach links/rechts ausrichtet) etwas schief war… nur so 1-2 Grad, aber bemerkbar in den Video. Ich fand keine Lsung auf Anhieb den Technik Support an, welcher mir nicht sehr schnell geantwortet hat, sondern auch neben der Antwort ein Video schickte wo ich die Einstellungen im Gimbal finde… Ich muss sagen das hat mich berrascht.
Tiny giant? This is the right name for it. Being hobbyist i could not ask for more. This gimbal is great for it is designed for => stabilisation. It is very easy to set up and use for first time user. Axis locks are awesome and i can not imagine gimbal without them. Footage is great out of the box and even better after few hit and miss adjustments of motors ( check my run video test). It is very portable and fits in my backpack with camera gear. I love sling mode as it is much more comfortable to use at least for me. I do suggest to buy transmount kit to safe some effort during handle changes. New firmware allow you to change plenty of settings straight from the gimbal, no more searching of phone to make quick adjustment unless you want to try sync motion and control your gimbal from the zhiyun app. It comes well packed in safe box that is great for storage when not in use.

First impressions, fantastic!
First impressions this little gimbal seems like the perfect companion for shooting weddings. I’m using my Sony A6300 and the 16-35 gmaster.
I previously owned a Ronin S and the Weebill is so much lighter and quicker to balance with the locks.
It literally took me 2 minutes to balance the first time and no horizon drift unlike other gimbals.
So far I’m really pleased with this gimbal.

I bought a standard pack first then returned it to buy image transmission pack and communication with Zhiyun during the return and getting the new one was very professional and fast. Can't say much that I don't love about this gimbal. It's definitely a step up from my weebill lab. Better locking system, holds more weight, controls adjustable directly from gimbal. They finally stepped up their app game after allowing you to customize settings directly from the gimbal.. Go figure

Hesitant entre le Ronin SC et celui ci, j’ai opt pour le dernier ne de ZHIYUN. je ne le regrette pas. les moteurs sont plus puissants et il laisse plus d’espace pour les mirrorless avec des objectifs plus longs. (le ronin SC oblige a enlever la partie caoutchouteuse du viseur). j’utilise le mien avec des focales fixes principalement (le 55mm 1.8 de Sony et le 24mm GM) aucun soucis, on sent tout de suite la puissance et la fluidit des moteurs.
petite astuce.. lorsqu’on branche un Sony A7 III sur le Gimble, choisissez l’option Panasonic pour pouvoir contrler l’ouverture et les autres options de l’appareil.
en position “Basse” c’est une merveille, le Ronin SC ne permet pas de le tenir comme une valise (a moins d’acheter un manche supplmentaire)

Small but mighty
After a few weeks of using this gimbal as an event videographer, here’s my review. The size and power of this gimbal is second to none. Its small form factor allows it to be packed away & makes it perfect for travelling or shooting fast paced events.
The locking system & quick release plate makes balancing a breeze, even with a heavy setup. My favourite mode has to be POV, which allows you to control the gimbal in a 360 degree movement, making for really interesting & flexible shots.
The ability to move from upright to underslung mode is great if you need to get those low down shots.
Moving from a much larger gimbal to this has opened up a lot of flexibility for my work, and I can now carry all my kit in a small backpack rather than having to lug around a case or rolling camera bag. Battery life is superb & the charger is USB-C. It’s comfortable to hold too, you don’t need to grip it with two hands, part of the gimbal now rests by your thumb, which allows you to feel more in control.
Another big pro for me is the fact that you can auto-tune the motors on the gimbals built in system, as opposed to using a cumbersome app (saying that, the app is useful too & not hard to navigate at all. There’s some really cool features on there, such as the ability to having the gimbal mimic every movement of your phone!) The small LED screen is nice and bright and allows you to program the gimbal.
If you shoot events and have a fairly heavy set up, this is perfect. Moving through tight spaces and crowds is much easier now, I no longer feel like I’m carrying a giant piece of equipment. I haven’t tried many of the accessories, but I will definitely be investing in these soon.

Great compact gimbal
Great gimbal. Easy to balance and works with a heavy setup. Got it balanced perfectly with my gh5 and sigma 18-35. I had to mount the camera to my metabones adapter though, as when it’s mounted to the camera, it is too front heavy. This could be solved with some counter weight though. Still works great just mounted to the metabones though!

To keep this short and sweet the webill-s just works and its clear Zhiyun have listened to their customers on feedback of previous gimbals of both their own and of competitors.
The weebill-s is very light in the hand but feels stable and very powerfull for its size, personally the size was my selling point as it fits in my camera bag along with my A7 iii very snug. The ability to lock the tilt and pan axis while balancing is especially handy.
The weebill-s has many mountain options for monitors or other camera equipment which was much appreciated by me as on my crane three I had to use an external mount for such a thing. Both this and the addition of the tripod grip make this gimbal perfect for run and gun shooting in my opinion.
A side note, I had trouble with DHL with import tax to Ireland which Zhiyun were nice enough to offer me a refund or accessory’s for the gimbal this I feel made Zhiyun standout from its competitors with a human touch here and there.

Really excellent gimbal! Especially if you consider the form factor! Very smooth performance and really easy to use for beginners! I am using it with the EOS R and the 24-105 ef with the adapter and it handles it perfectly! Very strong motors! Also I love how portable it is!
Being a professional videographer, I’ve owned as few gimbals over the years and each have had their own issues. I also owned the predecessor to this gimbal, the Weebill Lab, and although I liked the design, it had a lot of issues.
This gimbal, the Weebill S, fixes most if not all these issues. It’s easy to balance, can handle very heavy set ups considering it’s small size and it’s easy to use. There’s little to not jittering when using a camera with IBIS. I like that you can control all the settings through the gimbal so you don’t need to open the app too, which is great for on the go.
To clarify, I’ve owned the Zhiyun Crane V2, Zhiyun Crane Plus, Zhiyun Weebill Lab, Moza Aircross 2 and tested the Ronin SC, and without a doubt this is my favourite.
I upgraded from the Zhiyun Crane v2, which use to run for $500-$600, but this is such an upgrade and more affordable. Very light, but solid build and strong motors. I’m able to mount my Eos R with a 17-40mm Ef (including RF to EF adapter) very easily!
My favorite feature is to be able to transition from high to low angles and vice versa so smoothly.
Ich habe einen Gimbal gesucht, welcher fr meine Reisen klein und kompakt sein soll aber dennoch meine Canon EOS R + 24-70 EF stabilisieren kann.
Was soll man sagen, der Gimbal ist gut verarbeitet – er kann mit den groen mit ziehen. Die einzige Kleinigkeit die mir aufgefallen ist, ist dass die Frsung an der Mount-Platte etwas zu weit/breit ist wodurch sich die Schrauben manchmal verkanten. Wenn man aber den Dreh raus hat ist das auch kein Problem mehr. Mit der 24-70 ist der Gimbal zwar etwas schwieriger aus zu balancieren wenn man ihn aber anmacht performt er spitze – die Motoren streiken, brummen oder vibrieren nicht. Echt ein kleines Powerpaket! Ich hatte ihn jetzt ein paar mal im Einsatz und er hat mich nicht enttuscht. Ich habe ihn zuletzt fr einen Job verwendet bei dem ich auf der Bhne einen Musiker filmen musste wo ein kompaktes Set-Up absolut wichtig ist. Das mitgelieferte Stativ ist robust und wenn es mal angebracht ist – macht das ganze ein wirklich hochwertigen Eindruck.
Mit einer kleineren und nicht allzu langen Linse z.B einem 35mm Objektiv ist der Gimbal absolut einfach zu balancieren.
Er ist kompakt, und die Funktion die Motoren mit einem Schalter fest zu machen, dass die Achsen sich nicht mehr bewegen knnen hilft enorm dabei den Gimbal ohne Probleme mal lose in den Kamerarucksack zu legen oder auen zu befestigen ohne das es klappert. Auch das steuern meiner Canon EOS R funktioniert ohne Probleme.
Die Automationen wie das kalibrieren der Motoren macht die Bedienung natrlich kinderleicht. Und groer Plus-Punkt – man braucht keine APP um den Gimbal einzurichten.
Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden! Das Preis-Leistung Verhltnis wirklich richtig klasse, der Gimbal fhlt sich gut an und fr aufstrebende Filmemacher eine Kaufempfehlung.
Hier mein Testbericht zur Nutzung des Weebill-S und einer Lumix GH5 + Metabones Speedbooster und Objektive mit Canon-Mount.
Hintergrund: Vorher hatte ich den Crane V2 von Zhiyun. Dieser kam mit dem Gewicht der greren Objektive stark ans Limit und die Augenmuschel war dann hufig im Weg.

Hier hat sich wirklich viel getan. Das Gimal schafft jetzt alle meine vorhandenen Objektive aufzunehmen und ordentlich zu stabilisieren (Objektive siehe bei Abschnitt “Focuswheel”). Selbst das schwere und lange Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD wird zuverlssig stabilisiert, wenn man den mitgelieferten Sockel nutzt.
Active Tracking ohne zustzliches Modul:

Whlt man in der App Zhiyun Play den Weelbill S aus, habe ich keine Mglichkeit gefunden das Tracking ber das Smartphone zu aktivieren. Das Menu ist anders, als wenn man sich mit der App z.B. mit dem alten Crane V2 verbindet.
Es wre echt schade, wenn man die Kunden zwingen wrden, dafr das zustzliche Modul zur Bildschirmbertragung zu kaufen – obwohl bereits ltere Gimbals diese Funktion hatten. Ich hoffe auf die Einsicht von Zhiyun und ein Firmware-Update, um diese Funktion zu ermglichen.

Ich wrde mir wnschen, dass man gerade das Sigma 18 -35 1,8 Art (mit Speedbooster) per Firmware-Update untersttzen wrden. Das ist ja einer der spannensten Konbinationen mit der GH5 aktuell.
Stativplatte des Gimbal:

Es ist super, dass man grundstzlich die 501PL Stativplatten nutzen kann. Wobei die Fassung etwas eng ist und so trotzdem einige eigentlich passenden Platten etwas zu gro sind. Durch den mitgelieferten kleinen Block zur Erhhung des Abstands zwischen Aufnahmen des Gimbal und der Kamera kann man jetzt auch Objektive mit und ohne Speedbooster einfach auswechseln. Da ich zwei Lumix-Kameras habe, werde ich diesen Block noch mal nachkaufen.
Groartig ist, dass man von Zhiyun direkt kaufen kann und eine RG mit ausgewiesener RG erhlt.
Ingesamt bin ich zufrieden. Trotzdem gibt es mit Updates per Firmware noch Luft auf 5 von 5 Sternen.
Mein erster Gimbal war ein Crane V2, anschlieend Crane Plus und nun der Weebill S… was soll ich sagen? Ich habe eine A7III mit einem schweren adaptierten Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art und MC-11 innerhalb weniger Sekunden balanciert und der Gimbal verhlt sich hnlich wie wie mit der kleinen A6400 und dem Sigma 16mm 1.4… keine Mikroruckler, schnelle Bewegungen sind auch kein Problem. Ich habe weder beim V2 noch beim Plus einen Akku leer bekommen. Der Weebill S hat ebenso einen langen drehtag durchgehalten und hatte noch einen Strich Akku.
Getestet mit Sony A7III mit:
Sigma MC-11, 50mm 1.4 Art
Tamron 28-75mm 2.8
Sony 85mm 1.8
Sony A6400 getestet mit:
Tamron 28-75mm 2.8
Sigma 16mm 1.4

Die schwierigste Kombination war die leichte A6400 mit dem schweren Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art aber auch damit hatte der Weebill S keine Probleme! Ich kann ihn uneingeschrnkt empfehlen!
The moment I unpacked this gimbal I was extremely happy about its compact size which is very much identical to its predecessor, the Weebill LAB. After I installed my Sony A7III equipped with my Tamron 17-28 lens I could immediately tell that the motors are top notch! The gimball can handle this setup with ease.
These are the 2 main reasons why I decided to buy this gimbal: compact size + motor strength. I’m the occasional traveler/videographer and thanks to Zhiyun I don’t have to break my back (and bank account :P) to be able to take a capable gimbal with me on my travels. Packing this thing is a breeze! You can conveniently lock all 3 axes so it doesn’t swing uncontrollably while you carry it around.
I already owned the Zhiyun Crane 2 before this one and because of that I must say that I’m really impressed with Zhiyun’s products. The Crane 2 has been with me on many projects and hasn’t let me down once.
I was also contemplating to buy the DJI Ronin-SC, but I think DJI’s product falls short to the advantages I described above and that’s why I went for the Weebill-S instead. Also, the under- swing mode of the Weebill-S is really handy for creating some nice low shots, which is not nearly as convenient on the SC because of its form factor and overall build.
In the end you decide which gimbal is the one for you, but personally I must say that this gimbal is the perfect fit for me and that’s why I’m giving it 5 stars!
This gimbal is definitely a winner. I had the Weebill Lab 3 and still got this as the upgrades on the Weebill-S are beyond amazing! Definitely recommended for anyone contemplating on throwing Sony a7 bodies with heavy lenses!

What can I say about this new zhiyun weebill s? It definitely is befitting of the title tiny giant!
I already own a zhiyun crane 3 lab which is already a beast of a gimbal but it isn’t exactly the best in travel friendly when it comes to taking it with me whenever I go on holiday 🙁
so when news broke out that Zhiyun had released a new version of the weebill it definitely caught my eye, not just because of its small form factor but because it could actually handle my already heavy setup of my canon 5d mark 3 with my canon 16-35mm lens, so finding out that it could handle my current setup I was sold right then.
This new zhiyun weebill s is small and very compact but feels very sturdy and solid to hold and operate, definitely travel size friendly which was one of the other reasons for why I bought this gimbal.
Balancing is a piece of cake with each axis having its own locking switches and with the quick arca Swiss release plate it’s easy for me to take off my camera to use on my tripod setup.
All of the gimbal modes are easily accessible on the main grip handle and now the led screen also gives you the option to manually change the different settings for the gimbal pan, follow and roll axis which before on previous gimbals could only be changed via the zy play app, so it’s a really good addition that you are able to tweak the settings from the gimbal itself.
With the new 300% improvement in motor torque and 50% increase in responsiveness I definitely noticed straight away when using it.
This is definitely a great addition to my gimbal collection and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get awesome stabilisation on their video that they shoot.
Just one last mention that there isn’t any mention of what it’s maximum payload is, so I would definitely suggest you check zhiyuns camera/lens compatibility list first to determine whether your camera/lens setup is compatible with this tiny gimbal. The perfect gimbal???
Having used a few gimbals over the last few years I opted for the weebill-s as it has amazing specifications with a super price.
Is it the perfect all round gimbal?? Personally I think so, from lightweight mirror less cameras to pro and semi pro it works flawlessly.
I use it with a Nikon D850 and various lenses with ease. Add an extra mini tripod stand and it’s the easiest to hold and use gimbal in a very long time.
Follow focus works fantastic, and the zyplay app has been updated to allow sync movement, ideal if can’t be right next to your camera.
Next is the video transmitter for me to try, that should help a lot with interview work.
On the whole I definitely give this 5*, amazing gimbal in a small easy to use package.

Having owned both Crane V2 and Weebill LAB I can easily say that this is the best gimbal from Zhiyun so far! Still lacking support for Sony cameras, but the strong motors and easy to use-modes makes this product a must have for all film makers.

Il prodotto fantastico, decisamente quello che volevo! leggerissimo, trasportabile in qualsiasi zaino (la sagoma sta in un A4) e soprattutto compatibile con la mia Canon Eos R con 24-105 senza dover smontare nulla! Tutti gli assi sono bloccabili in caso di trasporto, l’aggancio della camera a prova di principiante come me e la regolazione della posizione di stabilizzazione facilissima. Le batterie durano circa 15 ore e si ricaricano via usb-c con un cavetto in dotazione. Il menu del gimbal intuitivo e customizzabile in qualsiasi funzione intenderete riprendere!

Only materials on DJI are a bit better quality, everything else is perfect on Weebill S for my style of filming.
I have to say I was surprised how good and balanced it feels in hand in comparison with Ronin S. I’m sure it is due to better ergonomics witch makes me want to shoot in more variety of angles ie POV mode is somehow easier to achieve thanks to more intuitive controls etc.
As I show on the video I rigged it with a cage, Atomos Shinobi, Sony remote controller and only one additional Smallrig handle which I already had for my Sony A7iii cage and Sigma 20mm 1.4 lens!!
All together weights 4kg but due to very good ergonomics it feels “perfectly ” balanced in hand with good weight distribution when changing from regular to underslung mode.
To balance the same lens on Ronin S I had to buy external weight balance plate, not too mention lack of separate axis locks and quick release plate made this much more as a chore in comparison to balancing on Weebil S!!!
I have to mention also very very good costumer Service provided to me Helen from Zhiyun who was in contact with me from the moment I purchased gimbal until I received it and also after couple of days to make sure I am happy with my gimbal and answering all my questions very promptly and professional manner.

Increble producto, tengo la versin normal y si he notado los cambios que se anuncian en esta nueva versin, va mucho mas fluido y noto que va mucho mejor con mi A7III, super contento con el producto y con la marca, una ideal atencin al cliente y calidad de producto, es el 4 gimbal que tengo de ellos.
Absolutely love the Weebill S!!! I use it with my A6500 paired with the Sigma 16mm and it works flawlessly. I’ve used glide cams , the steady cam, and other similar gimbals. For the price this is hard to beat. Will be getting a BMpCC6k soon. I will let you all know how that bad boy balances. Until next time and good luck to all you amazing creators. PS. If you’ve never balanced a gimbal it takes a few minutes but after a few times it’s golden.
Premetto che sono gi un felice possessore dello Zhiyun Crane 2 e che ho deciso di acquistare il Weebill S solo perch ero alla ricerca di un gimbal pi compatto e dalle prestazioni adeguate considerando che lo utilizzo con una Canon Eos 5D mkIV e tre ottiche differenti… e considerando che uso il gimbal per molte ore al giorno. Insomma: tanta roba per tanto tempo.
Risultato: eccellente!
Ricevuto prima del previsto, ad un primo test i motori danno una risposta pi che convincente, risulta fluido su tutti gli assi ma quello che meraviglia l’ergonomia (identica al Weebill Lab) e decisamente superiore al Crane 2.
Il motore del roll posizionato pi in basso del display permette di lavorare con il massimo comfort lasciando piena visibilit anche con camere che non hanno il display orientabile.
Il blocco dei tasti previene “guai” causati dalla pressione accidentale sull’impugnatura.
Le dimensioni ridotte, la possibilit di bloccarne gli snodi e il peso irrisorio consentono di trasportarlo in un qualsiasi zaino fotografico il che lo rende il compagno di viaggio ideale per tutti i videomaker, dai cerimonialisti ai viaggiatori incalliti.
Indubbiamente il miglior gimbal che abbia testato negli anni.

Just received my Weebil S. Probably the best gimbal on the market in my opinion. It’s very easy to mount and balance your camera. I use Lumix GH5 and G80 with a variety of lenses and it handles them easily. The extra power in the motors is clearly evident. The quick release clamps are even easier to apply. One of the main features that attracted me to the Weebil gimbals is the ability to lock all the axis and comfortably carry it in almost any backpack. I recommend getting all the accessories that go with this gimbal. I’ve got some quick release trans mounts which are cool and time saving as you don’t need to screw and twist on monopods or stands, saving you seconds. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the Image Transmission Transmitter/Receiver when they become available. I first heard about gimbals a few years ago like DJI, but my first gimbal was the Zhiyun Smooth 4, then the Weebil Lab and now the Weebil S. I’m really impressed with the quality and the value for money I’ve got with each purchase. Really good job and a big Thank You to Helen from Zhiyun Official Store (Europe) for fantastic support and assistance. I highly recommend this product.
Ich habe dieses Produkt erworben noch bevor es lieferbar war. Der Versand sollte eigentlich noch 14 Tage dauern. Trotzdem kam das Gimbal noch in der selben Woche an. Leider musste ich bei der Lieferung eine Zollnachzahlung leisten, obwohl mein Versand kostenlos sein sollte. Ich dachte erst, dass das der Haken bei dem Preis ist… Aber:
Der Service von Zhiyun ist hier sehr vorbildlich. Ich schrieb eine Mail um nachzufragen und hatte in weniger als zwei Stunden die Antwort, dass man mir das Geld zurckerstatten wrde, was jetzt – drei Tage spter – bereits geschehen ist. Der Service ist also vorbildlich.
Aber auch das Produkt ist der Hammer. Ich verwende es mit einer Sony a 7iii und dem Batis 40mm Objektiv. Die Motoren sind sehr leistungsstark und es tut genau das was es soll. Besonders schn sind natrlich die Zusatzfunktionen, wie der POV oder Vortex mode, die einen kreativen Einsatz ermglichen.
Ich kann das Gimbal absolut weiterempfehlen! Und fr alle, die eine wirklich besondere, ferngesteuerte Funktion wollen ist es perfekt. Die Steuerung des Gimbals ber mein IPhone SE funktioniert ohne Verzgerung. Es macht einfach Spa zu sehen wie sich die Kamera bewegt whrend man das Handy in der Hand bewegt. Frs Filmen erffnet das natrlich viele neue Mglichkeiten.

I use this to film vehicles and it’s perfect for what I do. I own a Sony A7 iii with the 2 lenses. I mainly use the kit lens and I have a wide angle lens I swap out as well. They both weigh about the same so balancing needs no adjustments for me. I love the quick release for when I want to shoot handheld shots of things like interior details. I also do a bunch of rolling shots that require me to film moving cars at about 15-25mph. The gimbal handles the wind very well and the low slung mode makes the low ground shots SO MUCH EASIER!! Overall I love it a ton! I am actually traveling to California soon so I’m excited to see how much room it will take up in my backpack! Highly suggest this thing for sure!! This gimbal so far is handling my Sony A7iii and 35mm 1.4 really well. The footage is super smooth. The build quality generally is good however the 1/4′ screws are not nicely made. They can easily be replace though so it’s not a big deal. Out of the box one of the motors was making a noise that could be heard in the videos. I contacted Zhiyun and they told me to update the firmware. After doing that the noise was gone. The gimbal is almost perfect, but we have to see how it holds up in the future. So far, I am very impressed and for the price it’s a steal. Also big thumbs up to Zhiyun for quickly responding and fixing the problem.
Having been struggling to find the perfect Gimbal — I am pleased to say I think I have found it, this is by best Gimbal I have ever brought. — if you have any questions feel free to ask — just order it you will not be disappointed!

Here is my brief review and elow you will find some more detail – I own Canon Cameras the EOSR & the EOSRP and they have only worked on other gimbals with a small 35 mm prime lens — I unboxed the Weebill S and balanced the ESOR with the RF 24 to 105mm zoom lens and it works perfectly with no need to rebalance when zooming in and out.
You really wont believe how quick it is to balance and works so smoothly in the next couple of days/weeks I will do some balancing and usage films.
It is similar to the original WeeBill Lab but has some awesome improvements that fixes a lot of things for example it works with the Canon EOSR straight out of the box it was balanced and running like a dream.
The motors are very strong and capable there’s no motor noise which is ace when making videos also I cant find a list of maximum payload which is actually a good thing because they have a comprehensive compatibility list of different camera set ups, it is not say that your wont work if it is not on the list just it has not been added or tested yet — now that it fits the EOSR without having to mess around with taking off the eye-piece etc I am sure it will be capable with most prosumers set ups
It comes well a packaged, it has a storage box made out of Styrofoam but don’t chuck it away as it is good to store it when not in use, I am not bothered that it does not come with a case as I always put my gimbals in my camera bags and on that note this fits in all of mine from the small shoulder bag right up to my large tactical bag
I feels exactly like the Weebill Lab in hand light and I love the underslung combination as a must you should also buy the quick release trans mounts It does have some marked improvements such as the much easier to us plus the quick release clamps gimbal locks have been improved as well.
When I switched it on that was the big surprise it felt stronger and steady, the whole thing feels rock-solid I have had a quick go as I was so excited to use it and the whole thing including the buttons and motors feel really responsive.
I did not need to do anything other than download the new firmware which I have come to expect now and also shows the support that is going on to fix and improve it even more.
