The cable failed. I see it is a common fault. The cable I have seems to have a broken connection in one end. It is a problem with mass production and cheap electronics seen in almost all area. I was able to do a temporary fix by gently squeezing the end with pliers to squash it. I say gently as the end and it’s contained components are delicate. The marks shown in the picture we’re made with mild pressure. Shouldn’t have to do it. But, you can send things back and forth to supplier until one pops up that works. I’m sure some of you have encountered this. It’s a shame as when the cable works it is excellent for charging and data.
