Bought it for as a gift. My friend loved it. He still likes to use is own wall, but now he has a bit more options. He also used in his garden, when he was having a barbecue party. It worked pretty well.
Cheap option for movies in the backyard
I’m sure you could get into the weeds on what makes a projection screen great or subpar. I let that debate prevent me from making a purchase like this for a long time. It’s a rabbit hole here on Amazon if you’re looking for screens.
I ordered this one and it’s served us very well.
Busted it out several times now… kind parties… sporting events… it’s easy to set up quickly. Wrinkles haven’t been an issue. Everything breaks down nicely into a small carrying case.
It fits very tightly on the frame, I’m concerned at some point I might tear some threading along the corners when disassembling, but thus far it holds up and I would recommend this product.
One note worth mentioning, it comes with a couple of sacks for sand…. nice touch… however, after filling with sand, they both fell apart at the seam. I wasn’t expecting sand bags, so the failure of them was inconsequential. But if it’s important to you, maybe tread very carefully with how much sand you add. I thought I was pretty modest, it wasn’t busting at the seams.

Really nice screen, fabric is stretchy and is wrinkle free once you get it out and up. Setup and breakdown is simple, can be done alone but would suggest an extra set of hands. If using outside, grab a couple of bricks to put on the feet, even with the stakes if there is a lite breeze it will tip over. Been very happy with this.

A fine quality, large size screen.
Portability and quality was the key for me with this screen. Both boxes are ticked.
Assembly is very easy to do and dis-assembly is fast. The poles are manufactured well and fit easily in the tough, included case.
I notice no wrinkles or creases in the 120 inch white screen while in use and the colours projected onto it are vibrant and true. The screen itself is of great quality in my opinion.
Overall, it’s a sound buy and good value for money.

This screen is a great bit of kit to enhance you movie and gaming experience.
It’s very easy to set up and the instructions are very easy to follow.
It took me around 15 mins on my own to set this up and I have it set up in my bedroom for gaming for the time being. I will be moving it downstairs soon for movie and game nights with the kids and in the warmer months it will be great to put this outside.
The screen once assembled is nice and sturdy with the feet being heavy flat metal stands.
The poles click together nice and securely and the screen is nice and wrinkle free when stretched out.
The image quality is excellent and in a darkened room you get a great big image of high quality.

The Abdtech portable movie screen is a great device thats simple and easy to assemble. The frame comes in a nice carry case that keeps the components protected during transport and it really is dead simply to assemble. The projection screen frame does a great job of expanding the included projection screen and ensuring that it fits perfectly with no creases or anything to detract from the picture quality.
The pure white makes a huge difference to the colour of the projection and it’s suitable for indoor and outdoor use, great for movies on a campsite.

We are very happy with our purchase. Our kids love having their friends over for outdoor movie night. One of the few screens that are not built as a tripod- allowing us to place a weight on each side. Very portable, good picture quality - small storage space required and wrinkle-free! Happy 😊

I was very pleased with the quality of our screen and it's easy set up. First time putting it together took me just about 5 minutes. There was one downfall and that was a stain on the screen. I contacted the company and they sent me a whole replacement unit no questions asked alot faster than I expected. Costomer we service was amazing. Thank you!

We've only used the screen one time and it worked well. Movie picture was good. It's a pain to put together and one of the plastic elbow connectors is cracked. (Time will tell how well it hold up.) Contacting Amazon with this issue was useless because they wanted me to send the entire item back instead of helping me with a small replacement piece.

Perfect screen for camping! We have a projector that we wanted to bring on camping trips with us and had originally tried other screens that didn’t work. This one was perfect and not see through. The picture looked fantastic and it’s very easy to assemble. It comes with a nice storage bag for the poles and screen.
For the price point, I highly recommend the screen. It’s definitely big enough for our need and our projector didn’t even have to be very far from the screen. This was sturdy and will get lots of use by us in the coming summers. We even hooked up the Nintendo Switch to the projector to let the kids play on the big screen. So much fun!

Fabric pretty delicate and can see the slight folds after putting it together , a bit flimsy when set up…. but works! for $80 this is great 120inch screen roughly. have viewsonic 1080p px706HD projectd to it ok my eyes not too picky. It’s better than trying to hang a white bed sheet or project to a wall. Used indoors and light enough to move around. took 12 minutes for 2 to assemble…. plan to take with use when we get to visit others.
Dang, this bad boy is bigger than I thought! Relatively easy to assemble. You need two people though just because of the size. I really like the carrying case, it won’t take up much room when stored and it’ll be easy to transport. The picture on the screen is great. Takes about 3-4 minutes to set up, less than that to take down. Hello movie night!

Bought this to do outside movie nights for friends during COVID. I was amazed at the clarity of the picture. Very easy to set up (and tear down). All parts easily fit into the storage bag. Glad I bought the screen that had a stand included. Worth the extra money rather than a table top model etc.

Got the 120″. Excellent outdoor screen. Just needed weights on the base to deal with mild/moderate wind as the stakes don’t hold well (I used 4 bricks). Super fast setup and breakdown — about 3 min with 2 people once you’ve done it a few times.
I’d also suggest marking the 3 longer poles that go on the top to make it even faster to id them (I used electric tape) and you can leave the plastic connectors on 4 of the side poles and they will still fit easily in the bag. Marking the top of the screen itself at the 2 corners somehow could help too so you could start inserting the top pole without needed to unfurl the screen as much to figure out its orientation.
You need weights or something heavy to keep this thing up. The stakes given will not hold this up on its own. I used 10lb hand weights. Worked great.

LOVE this projector. Best purchase from 2020. We sit outside by our firepit and watch it all the time. So easy to set up and entertain. Wrinkle free and machine washable.
We have enjoyed two movies on our HUGE screen! The setup is easy enough that our 8 year old daughter assembled it alone, and only needed help standing it up. The fabric seems to be a polyester and spandex blend, which makes for a wrinkle free display. The picture quality is great and it felt like we were at the movies!!! This is a must-buy if you have a projector. It has made staying in much more enjoyable and your little ones will think you are awesome <3!!!

It’s so easy to install, I was able to install in 5 mins. Very happy with this. I have grass in my backyard so we can use support provided by them for windy days . I bought this screen for my kids as a outdoor portable screen. Kids had a great movie experience. The screen quality is very good, it’s wrinkle free. The stand is very easy to assemble. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble.

This screen is light and easy to assemble, and it stretches to be completely wrinkle and ripple free.
Something to consider: the spandex-like material is effective, but not made for use in ambient light. When some amount of room our outdoor light is present, I found that a black fabric draped on the back side was effective at returning some of the contrast. When the room/yard became completely dark, no backing was necessary, as the the picture was perfect.
Tip: Add four guy line tent cords and run them from the top corners diagonal in each direction. It definitely made mine much more stable, AND gave me control of shape to counter any ground tilt.

We bought this almost a year ago and I didn’t have an opportunity to review. This summer we have used this screen at least once each week to watch movies. With so many activities curtailed, it has given my kids a chance to get out of the house and breath fresh air. We have even had friends over for a social-distanced movie night in the back yard.
The screen is big! It is so easy to set up and take down!
Love this! Works great. Don’t forget to get weights for the bottom though. I used corn hole bags. They worked perfectly. Need to use this screen in the dark though. We used it outside at night with just our fire pit going, and that was perfect. I also recommend speakers. We used my Bose bluetooth, but it was not quite enough. I think two speakers might be better.

I’m happy with the design of the frame and screen, but I’m a little concerned about the durability of both. On the good side, this is affordable, relatively easy to assemble, and it does hold the sides of the screen straight, unlike the screens with grommets. This is lightweight, but that makes it vulnerable to blowing over. This is remedied pretty easily with canopy weights or even barbell weights.
I am a little concerned that the screen doesn’t seem very thick, and it develops snags very easily. I handle it carefully, but I noticed a couple snags already after just it’s second use. They do not affect the picture yet, but I’m concerned they could if they become larger and become holes.
Great idea, but it would be much better with a thicker, more durable screen.

so once I figured it out, the assembly is easy, I couldn’t find the instructions in the bag and I was tired. that being said, it actually was super easy to set up. Less frustrating with two people I imagine. It’s hard to stand it up by yourself but I managed. I bought this to use outside, so if that’s your plan, while you are ordering this, search for “replacement inflatable toy yard stakes”. That’s what I ordered, the stakes it comes with are tiny and no way in **** are going to hold this upright even in the slightest of winds, I couldn’t get it to stay up in the Livingroom without leaning it on a wall or very carefully balancing it.

This thing is wonderful! It sets up and tears down quickly. The picture is wonderful and it can be used equally well from front or back. We use it at church for those Sundays when we want to use videos. We attach it with clamps to one of the front railings and it's high enough and big enough for everyone to see clearly.

This screen was perfect for show pictures at my Son’s wedding dinner. Compact and easy to transport, clear setup instructions screen printed on the carry bag, and it works great.
Later had a seam start to open up on the bag, and the Abdtech promptly replaced it, no questions asked. Really a great experience all the way round!

We’ve really enjoyed using this screen for movies. We use it with an economical projector we also purchased on Amazon that has an HDMI port, so we can project laptop screens or Bluray movies onto this screen. My only minor complaint is that the dimensions of the screens or else of our projector aren’t truly widescreen like the movies, so there are white strips above and below the images, but that could be the fault of the projector and not the screen. It is very easy to assemble and to take apart again and easy to carry. We’ve even moved the screen to another location a few feet away without taking it apart first and one person on each side of the screen. It’s not at all heavy or awkward to move. Love this screen! Comes in a cute little carry bag. I love that this one has the flat feet – the only one of this type I could find – rather than the tripod feet. It has holes for anchors if you’re in the grass. I had mine on concrete so a 5 lb weight on each foot held it in place. Picture was great! We use a pretty good projector with it, and the picture was perfectly clear once it got dark and we even had 4 tiki torches going near it. Picture is visible at dusk but improves the darker it gets outside. I did have a little trouble getting some of the pieces to come apart during break down, but otherwise no issues at all. Easy to assemble and the fabric feels nice and seems to be wrinkle free.

Nice big screen. There are no wrinkles. Portable so you can easily move it around the yard if need be…or take it on the road. Comes with a very nice carrying case. Has anchor spikes at the base that go into the ground providing stability. The screen folds up just like a tent and fits into an easily totable bag. Not heavy. Very satisfied with purchase.
The aluminum frame is lightweight and sturdy enough. Try to find a nice flat piece of ground though, or the base can be a little tricky to balance and get it to stand straight. A DIY guy wire might help if needed. I also have a tough time believing the tiny provided stakes would hold it in place if windy. I use the sandbag leg wraps I got for my canopy tent. The cloth screen itself is decent. The fabric is a bit thin, and I worry it could wear out with time or easily get ripped or punctured by an errant pole during setup. Since it doesn’t have a black or opaque backing, you can expect to lose a little projector brightness on it too. Other than that, it is pretty wrinkle free, as advertised, so that’s a big plus. It also hangs pretty well on the frame. Everything packs neatly and easily into the provided carry case too. No need to cram anything. Setup is not hard per-se, but expect it to be a two person job if you aren’t a tall person. I’m 6’2″ with a generous armspan and can get it up myself in 5-10 minutes, but it’s hard to do without the screen hitting the ground a few times. That bugs me since I really don’t want to get it dirty. It is advertised as machine washable, but again, I worry it would wear out if you had to keep washing it.
All in all a solid buy for the price, and you probably aren’t getting better without spending considerably more. It works fine for my purposes, which is to project a movie onto it in the backyard as a fun summertime novelty.
Arrived on time and well-packaged, and came with its own black canvas carry case for easy storage and transport. I had looked at some screens that suggested ironing the fabric, but this fabric is marvelously wrinkle-free and should not be ironed. Instructions were simple, and as I slipped the frame together I marveled at how well engineered it was. The top bars are slightly longer than the sides, so I used a permanent marker to indicate that — the top and two side bars come in three pieces each. Once assembled, there were no droop folds or wrinkles that I had seen on other screens. The screen is taut and smooth. The base has these wonderful holes that allow a pin (4 included) to be pushed through and into the lawn or soil to anchor the screen. I still wouldn’t trust this screen in windy conditions without some tie ropes from the corners. Well manufactured and well designed. All in all, I was very satisfied with this screen and it was easy to watch a movie on.
I didn’t have much expectation but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. In less than 10 minutes we had the screen ready. It took longer to decide what movie to watch than it did to assemble the screen. It turned out much better than I expected. I would recommend it to anyone. The only change was that we put bricks to stabilize the legs. The stakes really aren’t very effective.

Very easy to assemble and break down. Fits into a convenient smaller bag for travel or storage. Great picture whether you’re wanting to use front or rear projection on it.

Huge 100 inch screen. The screen itself is made of high quality wrinkle free material. The picture/movie appears sharp and clear. The frame is very easy to assemble. In contrary to many other similar products, this projector screen comes with 2 legs, which makes it much sturdier and more stable. It can be easily packed in the included 3 feet compact carrying bag and it is very light to carry around. It comes with ground stakes for outdoor use. I chose this product due to my previous wonderful experience with AbdTech products. I am extremely satisfied with this product and comparing to other projector screens this is the best deal you can find.
