Early days yet as it’s still to be used by grandson. Assembly was easy enough despite what some of the other reviews say. It’s simply a case of following the instructions. It’s a sturdy bed and I’m sure with a decent mattress it will be comfy. Great value for money

The instructions were fairly easy to follow except for the mid support struts. That took a while. But other than that it was obvious it was a well designed bed, and strong. Of course the first thing my young man did was jump up and down on the mattress to test that! Its still standing lol! The bed is just the right height (easy to get in and out of if any mobility problems) and looks much more expensive than it is.
Bought this bed for 30 so much much better than that price leads you to believe. It looks like it cost twice that. Very pleased.
I’ve had it for about 10 months now, the fame is great value for money and being metal makes it very sturdy.
My only complaint is the design itself. The headboard gap makes my pillows slide through occasionally at night, even though my bed is against the wall. The mattress has no slot to sit in, so that also can be a bit annoying as it slides to the sides of the frame.
Apart from these small issues I’m quite happy with it & it seems to be lasting a while with no issues in sturdiness.

Had this for 2 years now. Still going strong! Only thinking of changing to a bigger bed so I might end up having to get rid/ give it away
A word of warning. The whole frame and screws etc are all black so if you have a black carpet ((like my daft self)) then have the screws and bolts on a white bit of paper so the can be easily found haha.
The bed itself, albeit slightly annoying in parts it’s not so difficult to set up but I do recommend building with someone. It seems sturdy enough and the value for money is fabulous. I managed to get this on a flash sale and I’m glad I did.
The bed arrived promptly and had the necessary tools included to assemble it. The process took around 2 h 30 and left me with a lot of pain in my fingers but this was the first time I have actually done this. Most of the assembling was easy, however, some of the metal slats did not fit properly in their holes, even though I followed precisely the scheme in the instruction’s manual. Even though I didn’t manage to put the last two in place properly, the bed is still very sturdy and I think it will be fine, it is not really noticeable with the mattress on top. Overall, I believe I got what I paid for (even though I am a bit sad that the bed is on today’s deals and I paid the full price , heartbreaking for poor students like me 🙁 )

Simple, easy to assemble & I’m pleasantly surprised at how solid it feels when put together. I have a Silentnight Pocket Essentials mattress on top (2 years old) & it gives a very comfortable nights sleep for an adult (95kg) . I was worried that it would be cheap & badly made & would only be suitable for children’s use – but as long as you take time to put it together well (make sure all the joints are tight) it’s rock solid.
Looks basic but it’s not necessarily unattractive. It’s neat, clean & simple – I find its style quite appealing. Brilliant value.

The instructions are abysmal and it’s better following your own instinct, some of the parts are not easy to align if assembling alone, but it is nothing too arduous.
Our friend also purchased this bed and attempted to assemble with his wife, unfortunately the ensuing arguments resulted in a divorce. At least he now has a spare bed so there is always a positive.

Arrived fast – needed to be quick as hubby discharged from hospital and had to have a downstairs bed. Good and strong, stable – perfect for him until he’s recovered enough to go back to upstairs bedroom.
The bed took me about an hour and a half to put up but I think would be alot quicker for an experienced diy person. I’m a single mum and just learning to do these things. I didn’t find it too difficult at all and the instructions were fairly easy to follow. Everything was labelled too.

I purchased this bed under a friends recommendation and I’m so glad I did. Built it on my own in about 45 minutes. Worried that the cheap price would reflect quality but this is a very sturdy, elegant frame! Love the metal bedslats as apposed to wooden, I prefer a firmer base – for my back. I’ve woken up from my first nights sleep on my new bed and feel wonderful and rested! (Slight headache but that’s due to the celebratory prosecco after moving in yesterday…)

I settled upon this bed mostly for price when I was searching, but I am so happy I did, because even though it is one of the cheaper options, it is so sturdy and strong I am very impressed with it. It looks great in my bedroom, feels very secure and was easy to put together – along with prompt delivery what more can you ask for?
I wanted a quick replacement of my old bed that wouldn’t make a hole in my budget and this one provided just that. Constructing was easy, but! slight issues occurred at the very end when I was battling to fit the last two slats(?) into their place, which took a lot of energy and cussing. Also, I would advise people of heavier build, like myself, to chose something sturdier as a long-term bed or use a proper mattress that can nicely redistribute your weight, because after a week or so I noticed slight dips at certain places – mostly if I sat for longer periods of a time at either end of the bed. This is not a bad bed by any means and can serve nicely for its purpose. I would recommend it, but don’t expect miracles.

I managed to put it together by myself in about half an hour, the metal slats are relatively easy to put in place however I had to bend the ends back on a few of them as they wouldn’t go in.

An excellent bed – I was worried by the many reviews saying it’s hard to assemble and parts don’t fit or align, but was relieved to find that the positive reviews were right.
It’s a doddle to assemble (though the bags had the wrong bolt labels on them), incredibly strong, and excellent value.

Decent bed for a cheap price. Easy enough instructions – sellers even contacted me to give me advice and let me know I could contact them if I needed help assembling the bed etc. But I managed to assembly it by myself and the bed has been standing just fine for several months

Needed a temporary bed as I’m decorating the bedrooms. This is excellent. All the parts are labelled. No instructions as such, just diagrams which are quite clear. delivered really quickly and my 13 yr old son put this together by himself with no problems and he says it’s very comfy. was emailed by the seller with some assembly instructions which although was not needed was still a very thoughtful gesture. once I get more credit on my account I will be buying another one for my other son.
The mattress slips a little back and forth on the frame but it is so sturdy which I was surprised about a little because of the great price. You can’t feel the bars at all and it isn’t less comfortable than my wooden sprung slats bed. I would argue it was just as comfy. There is a stage in the assembly that had me a little confused but found a YouTube video for assembly.

Came well before delivery date and we are very pleased with the two purchases we made. The two single beds are to replace a double bed used by our grandchildren, so price was a big factor in their purchase.
Firstly they were well packaged in a double cardboard box and although one end of one of the boxes had been damaged and crushed it had not reached the bed-frame parts inside. Once open each piece was wrapped in a plastic bag and numbered with a small paper tag, with the screws in two plastic bags which were marked with their letter of the alphabet as set out on the assembly plan. The plan was simple to follow and the bed-frame pieces easy to assemble. There is an Allen key included in the kit for assembly, but I was able to use an Allen key socket in my battery drill, so assembly was a little quicker.
There are two angle plates which join the two side of the bed-frame together; as the box comes in a size which packs a six foot bed into a three foot box. These are held in place by four screws. It is necessary to only use the two outside screws to begin with as there is a centre bar which runs across the bed at the centre and from off which you have to attach the two centre supporting feet. If, in your haste to get the bed erected you put them in, you’ll have to take them back out again to attach the centre bar.
The cross bars which support the mattress fit on bed bars by simply pushing them in place and into the plastic slotted holders. If a little tight use a mallet, or block of wood and a hammer, or a hammer and a piece of cardboard so as not to damage the paint, they are not hard to insert, but are a little beyond hitting them with your fist. Once the parts had been laid out on the carpet and the screw likewise it took possibly half an hour to assemble. The second took less time as we now knew not to put the four screws in the plate on the centre of the bed and we did not have to read the plan or move about the floor looking for individual parts, but built the headboard and tailboard and side supports and centre support and feet from one position on the floor, and then built the bed from four blocks rather than individual pieces.
So, well packaged, easy plans to follow, good paint job, good price, two put together by a 65 and 70 year old in about an hour of crawling about the floo
Husband was injured and left bed bound we had no bedroom downstairs so bought this as a temporary arrangement. Easy to assemble – no difficulties at all. It’s sturdy and has been holding up well. Only downside is that the pillow keeps slipping through the spaces at the head of the bed but that’s no big issue.
Wow – what a bargain! This bed is fantastic value for money, it is robust and strong and well finished. I did have doubts about ordering this bed as it just seemed too cheap to be true. It far excelled my expectations and I cannot emphasise enough how strong a bed this is, as it is made out of power coated metal (could be steel, I’m not an expert}. I’m an adult and I can confidently say that this bed would not collapse for even a heavy person. It is solid and rigid when assembled correctly. The Seller emailed additional instructions for a link to an assembly video. Apparently some Buyers had problems putting it together. Yes, the paper instructions are not the best, especially if you are not used to flat packs. I am to a point but the video really helped. The different parts have a letter on each. My tip is to put each corresponding part in to different piles with a good space between each one. I have rubbish eyesight so I write a big letter on a piece of white paper – I can see this much better that way. Follow the paper instructions step by step and you should not go far wrong. The only tricky part, this is where the video helps, is assembling the long side bed rail. You have to insert a small part in to 2 rails to make a long one. The small part has to be the right way up or you won’t find the screw holes.
The video – the man put the bed together in less than 5 minutes. Me and my husband and we are both over 65 – it took us over 3 hours. Worth it though. What a bargain and thanks go to 2 other retailers who were trying hard to rip me off with a right load of shoddy rubbish for 3 times the price. Great product – don’t be put off by the low price – this really is a gem of a bargain.

The only stumbling block was fitting to join the sides, I was trying to to join from the outside but the holes didn’t line up. After a while figured out that the part (I) should go in the inside. Really impressed with this bed. When it arrived I thought I had made a mistake because of the size of the box as I couldn’t believe there could be a bed in it. It was very easy to assemble. What is not to like about this product? The low price does not reflect the quality of this bed. Easy to put together and it seems pretty sturdy considering the price. All the parts were there, only needed to adjust the ends of a couple of slats to make them fit.
Delivery was spot on too, ordered it to arrive on my move in day, and there it was, before lunch time. Came with an Alan key and a mini wrench type thing, all I needed to build it. Not rickety at all either…important for a young woman and her partner sharing with housemates…
Despite what others have said, I managed to put this bed together on my own in an hour and a half, without watching the video. The middle bit was a bit tricky but with perserverance I managed to assemble. For 33.59, this was perfect. I’ve had more expensive beds that weren’t as sturdy as this

I settled upon this bed mostly for price when I was searching, but I am so happy I did, because even though it is one of the cheaper options, it is so sturdy and strong I am very impressed with it. It looks great in my bedroom, feels very secure and was easy to put together – along with prompt delivery what more can you ask for?

I bought this as a first big boy bed for my 3yo son, he loves it and sleeps very well in it.
I managed to put it together by myself in about half an hour, the metal slats are relatively easy to put in place however I had to bend the ends back on a few of them as they wouldn’t go in.
Other than that it’s a lovely bed with an even nicer price tag! Would definitely recommend

An excellent bed – I was worried by the many reviews saying it’s hard to assemble and parts don’t fit or align, but was relieved to find that the positive reviews were right.
It’s a doddle to assemble (though the bags had the wrong bolt labels on them), incredibly strong, and excellent value.

Decent bed for a cheap price. Easy enough instructions – sellers even contacted me to give me advice and let me know I could contact them if I needed help assembling the bed etc. But I managed to assembly it by myself and the bed has been standing just fine for several months
Bought 2 for my boys.what a great buy for the price and the quality. Easy to assemble and once you purchase them they even send you a email with info on how to put it together and a telephone number if you need help which I thought was great! I ordered two of these beds for my daughters rooms and u have to say for the price they are fantastic, I was able to assemble them myself in a short period of time and they look great and are very sturdy. I am exceptionally pleased with them and don’t think any negative feedback is necessary as for the price they are a bargain.

Needed a temporary bed as I’m decorating the bedrooms. This is excellent. All the parts are labelled. No instructions as such, just diagrams which are quite clear. It’s a sturdy bed frame and is easily assembled. Took me about 45 minutes. I’ll check all the bolts are still tight after a few days use. Well pleased with this purchase.
Can’t believe I just bought a full size single bed for 40 that’s as good as any at three times the price. Easy to put together, strong and well finished. Bought for a spare room but suitable for every day use.
I bought this for the spare room so haven’t slept on it but it does appear to be solid and well made. I had it put together in about 30 minutes, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I don’t know why other reviewers have said it was difficult, of the all the flat pack stuff I’ve put together recently this was by far the most straight forward.
I can’t believe how cheaply i bought this bed, the quality is amazing. I bought a cheap bed frame for twice the price as that and it was terrible quality. it also looks really good and matches the colour scheme of my room. For anyone who’s on the fence about this bed, don’t be! Had to give it 5 stars because I love this bed.

delivered really quickly and my 13 yr old son put this together by himself with no problems and he says it’s very comfy. was emailed by the seller with some assembly instructions which although was not needed was still a very thoughtful gesture. once I get more credit on my account I will be buying another one for my other son.
Simple design. But instructions difficult to interpret . Had to look on YouTube ! Once assembled, seems sturdy.
The mattress slips a little back and forth on the frame but it is so sturdy which I was surprised about a little because of the great price. You can’t feel the bars at all and it isn’t less comfortable than my wooden sprung slats bed. I would argue it was just as comfy. There is a stage in the assembly that had me a little confused but found a YouTube video for assembly.
had this a couple of weeks now and had no problems with it got it for my 16 year old daughter. i found this easy to put together with using the instructions and there is a video on youtube as well .very happy with this.
great little bed for the spare room, i managed to put it together myself easily although a couple of the bolts were a bit awkward, just be patient. I had thought it might not be very strong but as it will be used by small children was not too worried but it seems very sturdy although no one has slept in it yet as I m waiting for a mattress to be delivered.

Don’t underestimate how long this takes to build. It comes as a complete component kit. Every bar on the headboard, for example, needs to be put it.
However, it is very strong and sturdy and looks great when done.
Firstly they were well packaged in a double cardboard box and although one end of one of the boxes had been damaged and crushed it had not reached the bed-frame parts inside. Once open each piece was wrapped in a plastic bag and numbered with a small paper tag, with the screws in two plastic bags which were marked with their letter of the alphabet as set out on the assembly plan. The plan was simple to follow and the bed-frame pieces easy to assemble. There is an Allen key included in the kit for assembly, but I was able to use an Allen key socket in my battery drill, so assembly was a little quicker.
There are two angle plates which join the two side of the bed-frame together; as the box comes in a size which packs a six foot bed into a three foot box. These are held in place by four screws. It is necessary to only use the two outside screws to begin with as there is a centre bar which runs across the bed at the centre and from off which you have to attach the two centre supporting feet. If, in your haste to get the bed erected you put them in, you’ll have to take them back out again to attach the centre bar.
The cross bars which support the mattress fit on bed bars by simply pushing them in place and into the plastic slotted holders. If a little tight use a mallet, or block of wood and a hammer, or a hammer and a piece of cardboard so as not to damage the paint, they are not hard to insert, but are a little beyond hitting them with your fist. Once the parts had been laid out on the carpet and the screw likewise it took possibly half an hour to assemble. The second took less time as we now knew not to put the four screws in the plate on the centre of the bed and we did not have to read the plan or move about the floor looking for individual parts, but built the headboard and tailboard and side supports and centre support and feet from one position on the floor, and then built the bed from four blocks rather than individual pieces.
So, well packaged, easy plans to follow, good paint job, good price, two put together by a 65 and 70 year old in about an hour of crawling about the floo
Husband was injured and left bed bound we had no bedroom downstairs so bought this as a temporary arrangement. Easy to assemble – no difficulties at all. It’s sturdy and has been holding up well. Only downside is that the pillow keeps slipping through the spaces at the head of the bed but that’s no big issue.
The video – the man put the bed together in less than 5 minutes. Me and my husband and we are both over 65 – it took us over 3 hours. Worth it though. What a bargain and thanks go to 2 other retailers who were trying hard to rip me off with a right load of shoddy rubbish for 3 times the price. Great product – don’t be put off by the low price – this really is a gem of a bargain.

It arrived in 24 hours and by the time I got home from work our son had already assembled it. After seeing some of the reviews of the assembly instructions And knowing our son is not the most practical I feared the worst but was surprised how sturdy it was.
I had received an email link to a u-tube video giving further assembly instructions from the vendor but these were not required.
Verdict- for the price you can’t go wrong and it’s 25 cheaper than the Argos version.

Received bed day after order. A wee bit tricky to build but not that ud need a degree in engineering! Lovely wee bed but id recommend it for a wee yin only as my 6 ft 3 inch son sat on it and didn’t feel safe. Its a lovely wee bed for the price
