The only thing that lets it down is it comes with less than one meter of clear piping so purchased 5m of piping separately
Works well in sun. Getting little blobs of when cloudy or when the sun passes but this to be expected as it is a little pump and the solar panel is quite small
I set it up and it came straight on with a super jet. My only minor gripe is that the solar panel does not have a stand or spike so I propped against a flower pot. This was super value, and worth every penny. I’m very pleased with it.
For the price I was impressed. I don’t the fountain attachment but pumped water up a small waterfall and it was ample for the height (about 40cm).
Can’t fault it after 2 months.
Had this indoor fountain with an electric lead pump. Pump packed up years ago now with this solar one new lease of life. Has run dry twice animals use it overnight but still works dry without burning out love i
A small but good pump for a shady area, depending on sunlight. On a good sunny day the jet can reach 60 – 70 cm height. Monitoring water level is essential
This was purchased to replace an old electrically powered pump. I wanted to re-site my water feature, but there was no nearby power so thought I would give this a try.
When sunny enough, it works well for a very small pump.
Things to consider.
It only work when it’s really sunny, any cloud and it stops working.
You need to find some way of mounting the solar panel. There are no fixings. I mounted mine to a 1/2 plastic pipe, using wide gorilla tape.
Depending on the panel location, you may need to be able to move it to “track” the sun during the day. As I’ve said the panel only just produces enough power to make it work, so needs all the right conditions.
I’m really pleased with mine, just take into account where it’s going, and the sunshine it needs to work.
Dislike it doesn’t keep a bit of charge when sun goes down as would be night in the summer evening to hear & see it while having evening meal in garden ONLY WORKS IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT ! as soon as sun or you walk infront of solar it cuts ou
Originally I thought there was a piece missing (a ‘platform’ which seemed to be on the list of items included) but it wasn’t actually needed anyway. It took minutes to position in the pond and as the sun was out it started immediately. Good amount of spray.
Got the item today and quickly installed it in my DIY water feature. It works beautifully as long as it’s sunny, but will stumble with the lightest shade of cloud.
However this is mentioned in the product description and given if it’s my first solar water pump experiment I’m fully happy with it.

I bought this for the water dish in my tortoise enclosure. it was very easy to set up and install. It works well and produces a very high jet on sunny days.
The only issue is there is. no pole or attatchment for the solar panel so it’s really tricky to position as it keeps falling off. I will need to fashion an attachment and glue it on. If it came with a way to position the solar panel and attach it to things that would have been perfect.
The only problem with this product is that the fountain attachments are too strong for small shallow water features otherwise a great product as it is easy to install and has good suction in full sun however still works when cloudy

On a grey overcast day the fountain spray was often over a foot high which meant water went everywhere and my small bird bath emptied very quickly. The solution was to use no nozzle and a small 2-3 inch jet creates a lovely trickle effect.
Only other comment was that I had to clean out the filter within a month to remove leaves.
Working well now for over 15 days since installing in a big egg type of water feature. Water jet goes really high in direct sunlight and still working in hazy sunshine. I previously bought a cheap unbranded 5w version from eBay which didn’t have enough power to reach the top of my feature. Buy cheap and pay twice as the saying goes.

I bought this solar water fountain to place in my swimming pool. Sime setup can be used indoors if needed. The height of this water fountain is high with 100 cm height. For better results, cleaning very often is good and easy too. There are different nozzles which can be changed to get a different pattern of the water fountain. Best solar water fountain at such an affordable price.

This is a great solar pump.do not be deceived by the small size of pump as it packs a punch when sun is on the solar panel.it is strong enough to pump the water through my 2 tier water barrels.
Quality is not great, I have had similar with better quality. However that one stopped working after 3-4 weeks.
If it continues to work then it’s worth the money.
I’d been looking at one the same as this at double the price of this and decided to save the extra cash for another set of solar lights and get this one so gkad I did the diffrent heads are good the power when in full sun is shocking for such a small pump needs at least a meter square slash back or you’ll lose all the water lol wires a nice length. Only problem I have with it is there’s nothing on the panel that you can hang it or no stake for the ground but I’m sure a couple zip ties will sort that out very happy
Bought it to put in a small wildlife, I would say pond, but it is more of a large bowl just to stop the water stagnating. But I am very pleased with the little pump. When the sun is shining it sends up a lovely fountain of water. Quite surprising for its size. It only works when the sun is shining, if it’s a little cloudy it pulses, and not when its cloudy it will not work at all. But as others have said, I don’t really sit in the garden when its cloudy. I am planning to get another for nearer the house and set it up as bubbling pebble water feature.
A replacement for one I purchased years before. Previous sun panel had Faded so wasn’t as strong. I use it on a wild pond. Just to keep the water moving gradually

As it’s solar powered it’s working relies on light so if you want a constant flow this isn’t a good choice for you
I have mine in a little free standing pond and can adjust the height of the fountain just by moving the solar panel away from the sun

This is a very small pump, but it was exactly what I needed. The solar panel doesn’t have any fixtures or fittings for mounting but I didn’t find this any problem.
It works very efficiently even in moderate sunshine.
Really didn’t expect it to work that well but for this price it was worth a go. This fountain used to be electric powered and was my mum’s so it had great sentimental value. Hooked up the solar pump to the tube and within minutes it was working and the sun wasn’t even that strong. Really chuffed
Bought to replace a much larger model which packed up, got this size specifically for the small water feature & it’s the perfect strength. Runs well in full sunlight, to a lesser degree in over cast conditions and cuts in & out with dark clouds – but are you going to be outside enjoying it on a rubbish day? Probably not. Photo was taken on a sunny/cloudy intervals day.
Fun little fountain for kids, pets and wild life. Watch out in full sun as you my find your fountain empties reservoir! Selection of nozzles giving good variety of water jets. Just so cute and fun. Not a nocturnal feature lol
Bought as a replacement. It works well even when not in full sun. In full sun it goes like the clappers. Bear in mind these aren’t built to last but they’re not heavy on the pen so when this one packs in I will get a new one.

Replacing old pump in waterfall, this fits well and works. For the price excellent value, fingers crossed it lasts.
Utterly amazing performance for such a little pump!! Happily keeps my water feature ticking over when the sun shines!

In good sun the fountain goes a good 3/4 metre. Can’t fault it really. Can jam with algae, but that’s inevitable and is easily cleaned.
