I’m 6ft 5″ so a supportive and comfortable chair for me is really important. This is buy far the best I’ve ever used. Highly recommend, especially for those who are tall or on the heavier side.
Very comfortable chair, easy to assemble
Purchased this for no other reason than I liked the look of it and it had decent reviews. Took 15 mins to assemble on my own, with no issues at all, very easy. The padding in the seat is firm but comfortable, a good adjustment in the arms and the height is good.
Overall very pleased with it, seems like it was worth the money.
Fast forward 12 months, still as new, used every day and standing up to everything I throw at it. Very pleased.
Sturdy and comfortable
Really please with this chair. It was very easy to assemble, although some of the screw placements could have been better (tough to turn Allen key due to other parts in the way). Feels very comfortable to sit on and sturdy.
The chair cushion is nicely padded, but would have been better had it been a little more shaped perhaps (it’s just flat).
All in all a decent buy though.
It's actually good quality
It’s good quality and very comfortable. It’s very good value for money.
Took just two days for delivery. I put it together myself (hate DIY!) in 20 mins, easy. Very comfortable, arms move up and down as does the seat obviously. There is a tensioner for the back which when reclined slightly, is super comfy if you just need a couple of mins rest from work! Head rest moves up and down and when in up position, is perfect for my head, I’m 6 feet tall. There is also lumbar support that moves up and down.
Overall I’d recommend.

First impressions of the chair after having built it are currently not too bad. It’s comfy enough, but maybe a little more height on the head rest would be great. The padding on the seat cushion is good and seems well made. The arm rests are a little on the smaller side and forward and back functionality would be great. The gas lift and recline functions work as intended. Thankfully my item arrived perfectly, but the item seemed packaged a little untidily. The manual is OK but there are spelling and grammar issues. Although Amazon have put their name on this, I think it’s more of a rebranded chair and I wouldn’t exactly call it a premium build quality.
Great office chairs
Bought the first one to see what it was like. I was very pleased with the quality of the product, the ease with which it went together and the comfort of the chair. So we then bought a second one. They have a strong factory smell at first but this wears off over time. Definitely use the gloves because there is grease on some components. An electric screwdriver makes it easier, just don’t overtighten. The only niggle is the plastic cover plate on the headrest which is very awkward to insert & its easy to snap the side clips.
The parcel arived in time safely packaged and was delivered to the doors. The char was easy to assemble using the manual provided. The office chair is very good quality and it looks very stylish. The colour is as on the seller pictures and it suits perfectly in my home office. The chair can be used with or without head suppirt. Very comfortable and all works well. Perfect for me, thank you!

If by chance you also like the look of this chair for it’s already excellent reviews; it’s lovely green cushion dark grey mesh on a tale sturdy plastic that moves with your back topped with a headrest that’s always there; the modernist look coupled with complete comfort and reliability then look no further. Be sure to use the spring washers correctly though on the outside of the bolt, otherwise the chair will have an obtuse angle of flexibility which may seem OK at first but if the chair isn’t stiff then there’s something done wrong during setup
Can’t speak for durability yet although I bet it will last a long time before it degrades. It uses rugged foam for durability and isn’t uncomfortable, arm rests foam is really solid and it solves the issue of my previous chairs armrests. When you have really soft arm rests, they will turn into an uncomfortable metal arm rest in a week.
This chair was designed for Human people to sit on for at least 8 hours, I came from “gaming” chairs and the difference is really noticeable in a good way. Most often, gaming chairs are really bad for posture and I used them for 5 years, this is mind blowing comfort and for good posture.

Nice & comfy office desk chai
I need a “good” chair to work from home. I am a bit reluctant to order it and cannot participate in the test, but for this price, it is really a very good chair! Organize it yourself, but it’s worth it! You can adjust it completely, you can easily adjust the armrest in 3 positions (it can also be very high), it has good lumbar support, and you can adjust the chair “flexibly” (for example, you can lean back and make a phone call) The neck support is also very comfortable. All in all, I am very satisfied with this choice!

The chair is fantastic. Easy to assemble, decent support and feels like it will be comfy for work from home office use.
I’m not really that tall and have to put the headrest at its highest. The wide nature of the headrest means if you try to use it to support you neck and back while working the sides of the headrest clip the wings of your shoulders.

I prefer this chair over my Herman miller Aeron and the Embodies at work.
Would be good if you could adjust the arm rest forward and backward, as you can only adjust its height.
Good Value For Money
After spending many hours looking for a cheap office chair I decided to spend a little bit more and buy this one. Assembly took about 15 minutes and was straightforward, Just make sure you use a pair of gloves as the screws and washers are all pre greased. They come with a small pair of gloves suitable for smaller hands. Once built I thought the padding felt firmer than my previous chair but once sitting in it, it feels fine and after many hours I can say it never made my bum numb or cause any discomfort. I would say the comfort is definitely about what you would expect, its not amazing but definitely suitable for sitting on for many hours without discomfort. I can easily recommend the chair especially at this price point. Arm rests look plastic but they are actually padded and perfectly fine, definitely much better then hard plastic. Overall a comfortable chair suitable for extended sitting and a fair price.

The chair offers modern stylish looks and good level of ergonomic back support to the user.
Well written instructions and all the required fixings and tools for assembly are included in the box. Assembly went smoothly and took 5-10 minutes.
The chair is very comfy, with lots of adjustment available to get the perfect position. The adjustable lumber pads at the back offers good support to the lower back.
No noise when moving or reclining, but ive only had it around a month so far, but so far so good.
Really pleased with this chair, even after long periods of use it’s still comfortable, and the net back section gives good ventilation so no sweaty back issues.

Comfortable
This was easy to assemble and took about 20mins to put together. The instructions were good and helped a lot. One small bit of advice – when securing the headrest to the backrest, ensure it’s on tight as once the shiny plastic cover is put over the screws, it will not come off without causing damage to the finish!
Once assembled, this is a comfortable and easy to adjust chair that ha prevented any neck or back pain during work. It’s mostly great, but there are some issues which could be easily resolved. Firstly, the seat does not sit perfectly on the pneumatic pole, and rocks a little which is quite annoying sometimes. Secondly the armrests are quite short and a little too far forward so when my arms are by my sides, only the front part is in contact.
Lastly, the colours are a little off for me. The lime green cushion is actually fine, but the other bits are coloured in what I can only describe as “faded 90’s computer case beige” which I don’t really understand. It doesn’t look terrible but it is an odd choice which makes it look kinda old even though it’s brand new.
All that said, it is a very comfortable chair. There’s lots of adjustment including chair height, both arms height, and 3 stage lockable recline with backspring tension adjustment. The mesh parts are supportive without locking in heat so very comfortable to work on over time. For the price I think this is a great chair which I enjoy using every day.
Modern design ergonomic chai
A modern design ergonomic chair with excellent quality. Good value for money as it offers most if not all of the features you would expect of it. Headrest, lumbar support, armrests are all adjustable. It provides really great and comfortable support. I particularly like the breathable mesh headrest and backrest. My concern of the requirement for self-assembly was unnecessary as it was not difficult at all. It took me about 25 minutes. The manual gives clear and easy to follow instructions. The one item on my wish list is if the armrests could be adjustable sideways, then it would be 5/5 for me (Now more on 4.5/5).

Comfortable and Affordable!
This chair is for the long-term work-from-homers. As someone who sits at the PC for most of the day, it is one of the things I know not to skimp out on. I found this chair offered great support for a very good value compared to branded or ‘gaming chair’ versions of it.
The chair arrived in a large, heavy box, so you may need two people to lift this in. It took around 40 minutes for me to assemble, the product includes an instruction booklet and was relatively clear.
It is extremely sturdy and the lumbar support is perfect for my posture as I suffer from lower back issues. The back is reclinable and the neck support is a great addition. The chair includes adjustable armrests which, I’ve found, are not usually included in chairs this price range – this is something I would not want to miss out on as it can be more comfortable for yourself as well as fit under desks. The backrest uses a mesh material that helps keep the back cool and comfortable.
The lime green accent colour isn’t too bright and bold but definitely gives the chair character, this would definitely not be a design I’d have expected to go for on paper, but I really like the colours and aesthetics of it. The chair goes up and down very quietly and there is minimal noise from wheels when moving around. Overall, I’m very happy with the chair as it offers comfort and quality I would have expected from chairs outside this price range.
Perfect for my home office
These days, when most of the people working from home a good quality and comfortable office chair is more important than ever. This Amazon branded office chair meets all this important criteria’s. Arrived in a big heavy box. The chair needed to mount together but it only took about 30 minutes for me. Parts were clearly marked; necessary tools were provided (Allen wrenches). It comes with a instruction manual which also helps a lot if you stuck with the assembly. The fit and finish was excellent. It is a quality chair. But the most important consideration is how comfortable it is. Some people don’t like the mesh back, but I think adds more breathability and comfort to this chair. The design is excellent finally not just a boring black coloured office chair with a fake PU leather finish, this one has a nice bright modern colour. this white/black and green is a great hue combination and really adds a unique look for this chair. The chair has an adjustable height/tilt headrest and an adjustable arm rest which is great feature. Also, there is an adjustable lumbar support and a recline feature that allows you to tilt the backrest back or sit straight. Now you can quickly find a position that makes your back feel the most comfortable! The whole chair feels massively built, I can feel the weight of the materials used in its construction, and for the first time I don’t feel like I’m going to break my chair.
It looks like little bit expensive but value for money because high quality product.

As a small business owner who must spend a certain amount of time in front of a computer…plus a serious lower back issue…I desperately needed a chair with lower back support that was affordable. This one meets my needs. The flex function that allows me to lean back and stretch is super! Good pain relief
This chair arrived in a large box. It was very easy and quick to put together and start using. It comes with spare parts, which is always welcome.
It feels very durable and looks good. It is very adjustable and easy to adjust to fit. The back is a breathable mesh, which will be very useful in the summer months, and looks stylish.
The recline is great and reclines a long way. Its seat is not overly cushioned, but it is a good and comfortable seat, even on long days.
I especially love the adjustable armrests, lumbar support, and very quiet wheels.

Very Comfortable with Amazing Back and Neck Suppo
I really love this chair! It is comfortable and beautiful – perfect for long working hours.
This chair has a good support for the back and the neck. The back of this chair can be adjusted as it reclines according to personal preferences. The main position keeps my back straight and painless during long hours of sitting. Other two positions of recline are great for chilling and relaxing. The support for the head is perfectly designed, too. It keeps my head supported and prevents neck pain.
The cushion part to sit on is very comfortable, not too soft or spongy for an office chair but also not as hard as plain wood/metal/plastic. It is easy to adjust the height of the seat for personal preferences. I also like that the cushion is large and gives plenty space for me to sit (I do not feel squeezed into the chair).
Overall, the colours of the chair are bright and refreshing, makes me feel energetic when using this chair. The shape is comfortable and I do not have any pains in my body after long hours of sitting.
The only thing I didn’t like was the construction part of this chair at the arrival. Most construction steps were easy but there were a few screws at the bottom of the cushion part that required very large amount of strength to be fitted (which was also painful process for the hands).
The height of the handles can also be adjusted making this chain perfect for everyone’s needs. The wheels are a very good addition, making the chair easily transportable across different rooms. I wish the wheels had brakes so as to prevent the chair from moving especially in certain settings.

I fully recommend this chair, whether it be for home office or mature gaming. As gaming chairs are a bit “cowabunga” for us more mature gamers ha. But ensure you build it upstairs if that is where you are putting it, as it is a big hefty unit to get upstairs! Also worth noting too, I’d probably get in black if you are eating at your desk, as the cushion is light green and will soil quite easy.

Comfortable and supportive chair thats boosted my productivity
First impressions were good although I wasn’t expecting the chair to arrive in pieces and need a completely assembly, all the pieces seem well made and had a good finish. The instructions were well labelled and easy to follow so it only took me 15 minutes to complete and it was actually quite easy. The tools were provided and there were even spare screws and washers which was nice.
Once built I was really impressed with how the chair feels, it’s quite firm but very comfortable. Your body feels well supported and as everything is pretty much adjustable I found it easy to get the chair to the prefect position for my desk, which is actually really helping me to concentrate at work. I haven’t yet figured out how to recline it, it doesn’t seem to be quite the same design as the video but if I work it out I’ll update my review.
Other points to note are the wheels – It’s not often you consider how well the wheels work on a chair, but these are great. I can now glide from one side of my room to the other a lot easier which has actually had a positive effect on my workflow.
Overall I’m really pleased with this chair. It’s been a great purchase and I wish I got it sooner.
Brilliant quality and design and super comfy.
Such a brilliant office chair! The quality is absolutely flawless.
It’s relatively easy to assemble, and the instructions are clear.
The base is well-padded and extremely comfortable. The adjustable backrest really made a difference with my back pain – I can finally handle working from home and sitting for long hours. The mesh backing also helps keep me cool during long stints.
The armrests are sturdy (and they’re padded too, so they don’t hurt my elbows). I love the fact that I can adjust their height too!
Best of all, the chair is silent. I can spin, move around, and push the backrest back and forth all silently, which is excellent for online meetings and recordings when I want to adjust my sitting position without it being heard.
The headrest also sits securely on top of the chair and doesn’t wobble when I rest my head.
The colour and design of the chair are also lovely. Very modern and professional look.

Excellent quality and comfy chai
Wow! The best office chair I’ve ever had! I am more than happy to recommend it!
I like that with just one handle, which located underneath the chair; I can make the chair go up or down. Also, lock the backrest at the angle by pushing in the same handle, which is very handy if you want to relax, watch informative videos, or read an article. Some other chairs have two separate handles.
Plus, I can also adjust the armrest for my prefered hight, which adds extra value when I relax, resting the hands on it.
The build quality is excellent; the legs made of heavy-duty nylon seem very strong; they can easily handle up to 150 kg, as they stated. The shape of the backrest is very comfortable to lean on and helping me from bach pain. The breathable mesh is ideal for a hot environment; it feels very supportive and durable. The seat is wide enough for most of the bottom and comfortable too; It is a bit firm but perfect for my liking.
Overall, there is nothing to dislike about this chair. It was easy to assemble; I have done it in 20 mints. The best chair for those who work from home sitting down on a chair most of the time. Very pleased with this product and worth the money.

Very comfortable chair.
This chair is really good it arrived in a large heavy box, the instructions on how to put this together where extremely simple and easy to follow, this also included the tool needed which we did use at the start, but it was taking a while so we used a drill with an allen key attachment which made it much faster.
The chair itself is fantastic quality, the shape of the back supports the back really well, the arm rests can be moved up and down and the chair can also recline and be locked into that position, it has a gas lift making it easy to move the height of the chair up and down.
Overall this is a fantastic chair and in my opinion is well worth the current price of 169.99 you get a great comfortable chair with lots of features.
Breathable and very comfortable, worth every penny.
This Amazon brand Ergonomic office chair was something I was really looking forward to trying, the product description and the pictures make it look really high quality and luxurious as well. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. The item weighs 15.55kg but can take a maximum weight of 150kg which is just brilliant.
Pretty much every single component in this chair can either move around be adjusted to fit your liking which is brilliant. A quick tip is to make sure you have enough room in your house for where you want to put the chair because it’s very large and wide, and also make sure you have room for the box and everything upon arrival since the box is very large as well.
There are some components that need assembly, but this will only take about 30 minutes. There is a manual included which is very clear with the instructions and what you should do. There is also an area in the manual where you can check all the parts, so make sure you check that you have all the parts needed.
Everything on the chair like the material is soft and comfortable. The area where you sit and rest your back as well as the headrest is very comfortable, airy, and light. It feels great when you sit on it and it’s a really nice experience.
The headrest is adjustable and very comfortable and soft. When resting your neck it is very comfortable and really quite relaxing actually. The armrests are smooth and have a good amount of room for your hands and arms, also comfortable.
Because it has a mesh back, it means it is very breathable and air will still be able to get in from the back. This can also be adjusted at the back, so it makes resting your back even better and WAY more comfortable. It’s really a great experience.
There are 5 wheels on the chair which helps to balance it. The wheels move in every which way and don’t make a screeching noise or anything, they are silent. They are not slippery, but they can move around easily.
The whole backrest of the chair can be moved down and adjusted. It’s easy to change just by pushing and pulling on a little handle below the chair. When the chair is in the lowest setting, you can even lay down and take a nap that’s how nice and comfortable it is.
Overall, I really enjoy using this high-quality chair. It is really good value for money at 169.99. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an office chair.
I feel like with a bit more market research into the size of human beings, this would probably be the best chair I’ve used for work/gaming.
It’s very well made and quite comfortable for the most part.
Now, the elephant in the room, it was designed without the knowledge of the size of humans.
I’m 6’3 and it’s barrrely the right size for me. The gas lift is a bit too low. Its minimum height is more or less sitting on the floor and the max height is ~5cm shorter than ideal.
The headrest on its lowest setting is right in my shoulder blades. The max height for the headrest just about clears my shoulders and thus the headrest is a neck rest and stops around where the skull starts.
When I sit back, I can feel the headrest digging into the top of my shoulders.
It’s a great chair, I just can’t get my head around why they made it so small.
A couple of extra centimetres in every direction would do it no harm.
It also came with some laughably small gloves to aid with assembling the greasy bits.
Well made, lovely desig
The UMI by Amazon seat is as good as it looks, the quality is excellent.
It comes with a fair amount of assembly needed, it takes roughly 20 – 30 minutes to fully assemble, nothing difficult, just takes a bit of time.
The sale is good, I do like the contrasting colours, gives the look of quality.
Comfort again is excellent, the back is designed to hold your back upright, and makes eye contact with the PC at the correct level.

Worth it, so worth it at 169.99, fantastic support on the back and so relaxing to sit on, this is a good quality office chair, for the experience you get from using it I would quite happily pay double this price, and have done in the past for this level of comfort, highly recommended.

A few things I’d like to mention if you are going to buy this chair. Firstly, it’s a big packaging box measuring 75 x 40 x 65cm, so make room for delivery. Secondly, it weighs quite a bit at nearly 16Kg, best to take the components of the chair out the box and transport them individually to the room of choice. The last point is that it’s a wide chair, the base has a diameter of 70cm with the depth at 70cm (ignoring the additional reclining), the length is 63cm. The place where I originally wanted this chair, which was the spare room (PC Gaming room), couldn’t accommodate this chair, so I ended up having it myself in the home office 🙂 So best checking you have sufficient room for this chair before ordering.
The chair requires self assembly, it will take about 20 -30 minutes, the instructions are very clear and straight forward to follow, a checklist of the parts are given in the manual, best to check these off before proceeding with the build. If you follow the instructions you won’t come across any issues with assembly, I followed them step by step (7 steps to complete) and can honestly say I didn’t encounter any problems, makes a first for home assembly 🙂
The castors on this chair are super quiet, the main leg base is made from a strong nylon with the gas lift obviously of a steel construction along with the base of the seat and tilting mechanism. The outer cushion is cotton with the armrests a PU leather material. The mesh covering the back is an elasticated polyester which is attached to a PP frame.
The most important feature of this chair is the lumbar support, I personally wouldn’t of replaced my old office chair if the lumbar support wasn’t any good on this new one. It’s in fact a lot better, very firm with a positive applied pressure to the lower back and this is consistent even if reclining, one can also adjust the lumbar support by 1.96″.
The armrests are positioned just right for when you need to relax and unwind, the height of these can be adjusted by 3.7″, this is easily done via the release buttons on each arm frame.
The headrest comes into play when you most surely are going to sit back and relax, it’s also adjustable by 1.18″, everything about this office chair seems adjustable 🙂
If you are able to get all these adjustments just right for yourself then you will have a one comfortable chair which you could quite easily fall asleep in if not careful!
The inclination angle of the chair is 102 – 110 – 120 degrees, the chair is extremely stable on the later, also helped by the non-slip castors, the tension of tilt can be adjusted.
This is most surely an office chair, the main emphasis is on the comfort which the designers have done a really good job at providing, it could quite easily pass off as a gaming chair based on its looks. At the end of the day, gaming chairs are designed on looks first and comfort afterwards, if this chair had red stripes and the brand name etched into the seats then it would pass off as probably one of the most comfortable gaming chairs. However, a gaming chair it’s not, this is a very stylish, modern looking office chair which is suited for both office and home providing maximum comfort and back support. If you intend to be using an office chair for hours on end then you can’t go wrong in buying this.

great chair but also I spoke to the company selling and they were super helpful.
The chair arrived in a large brown box with all the parts either individually wrapped, in plastic bags or separated by card to avoid damage during transit.
I unpacked the box and unwrapped all the parts, I gave everything a good look over to check for flaws or bad finishing and found everything to be well finished to a high quality with no apparent defects. I had a look at the assembly instructions; these are fairly easy to follow and have itemised diagrams to identify all the parts, I did notice I had a couple of additional bolts according to the count which is far better than not enough 🙂
I was ready to start the assembly. I found the whole process fairly straight forward although I did make a schoolboy error of putting the arm rests on the wrong way round, this was easily and quickly rectified. The main test for me was going to be how comfortable and adjustable it was, I have been using it now since it arrived and spend anything between 10 and 15 hours a day working at the computer so a comfortable supporting chair is essential.
The arm adjustment work well and they are quick and easy to adjust while being nice and secure when in place, the arm rest pads are PU (Polyurethane) and give good support without being too hard. The main seat is nice and thick but also soft enough not to be uncomfortable, the chair tilt system is linked/attached to the base and works really well allowing you to either tilt right back or lock it at three different angles. I like the back to the chair being mesh as it stops the chair getting too hot over long periods of sitting or no doubt in the summer and it has a neat support system.
With everything on the chair looking and feeling nice and having good adjustment and support the main thing was how comfortable is it, I have previously fallen foul of getting a chair that ticked all the boxes but wasn’t actually very comfortable or supportive, when I first started using it I wasn’t sure but now after getting used to the change I really like it, I find it to give good support, the headrest works well with the system on the back of the chair giving really good support along with being nice and cool with the mesh. The arm rests adjust to exactly the height I need, the seat is firm but well padded and comfortable.
Overall a really nice and comfortable chair, as I sit at the computer for long periods comfort and support are essential and this chair delivers exactly that, the support is very good, the adjustment allows me to get exactly the sitting position I require, the tilt system along with the headrest work really well as does the mesh to keep the chair nice and cool so overall I am impressed with this chair.

***6 month update***
I still absolutely love this chair but after using it everyday for 8 or more hours the gas strut has already started to fail. Near the end of every day I have to increase the chair height as its gradually gets lower and lower. I’m not a very heavy person either so for this price its not great that its failing so early, but at least it would be still covered under warranty. The chair is so comfortable though and the seat cushion still shows no signs of wear at all!
The chair arrived safely, and it came well packaged inside a large box.
Putting it together was as painless as it can be, the included instructions are simple to understand and the different fittings are easily identified. The chair was fully assembled in about 15 minutes.
The styling of the chair is genuinely nice with the green seat cushion matching well with the creamy white colour of the rest of the chair, and I think it looks great in my grey coloured room.
The quality is very good and I’m quite impressed with it to be honest; the parts all went together nicely, and the chair feels well-made and sturdy. The arm rests have a slight wobble to them and the height adjustable for them feels a bit cheap to operate but I’m being really picky as overall it’s a good quality chair.
Its very comfortable to sit on and surprisingly it’s a lot better than the gaming style chair I’ve been using for quite a while now which cost me nearly 300. The seat cushion is thick, spongey and does a great job of supporting you, most importantly I can’t feel any support bars or other objects under the foam, like I have experienced with other chairs. The width of the seat cushion is 50cm and the height from the ground to the top of the cushion is 46.5cm when on the lowest height and 55.5cm when set to the highest.
The height of the headrest can be adjusted; I’m 6,2″ and I can just about rest my head on it when set to its highest. The adjustable lumber support is brilliant, it does an excellent job of supporting your lower back and it makes the chair a lot more comfortable, most people should be able to find a nice position thanks to its ability to go up and down. The armrests move up and down but sadly down go forward or backwards, a feature I would have loved with this chair.
The spring-loaded adjustment on the base of the chair controls how much resistance is applied when you have the chair in the unlocked position and lean back. You can set it to be really strong and push against you with a fair amount of pressure or you can have it loose which allows you to lean all the way back with very little resistance.
Overall, I’m really pleased with this chair from UMI, it’s a lot more comfortable than I expected, it looks great and the high quality of it makes it great value for money. If you like the look of it then buy with confidence, I’m more than happy to recommend it and I feel it deserves the full five stars!
A sturdy and comfortable office chair without the office price tag.
First thoughts:
Quick to assemble (15-20 minutes taking my time and documenting my progress with pictures), clear, well set out and easy to follow instructions, all the fixings and tools for the job are included in the box and I managed to put it together on my own without needing extra hands.
I’d been looking to replace an old low-back office chair from around the house as the more time I’ve spent indoors the more I’ve needed better support and comfort. This chair fit the bill so I ordered it.
I’m 6’2″ and 17.5 stone (medium build) and the chair has plenty of room with a good sized seat, long back and headrest. I didn’t think I was much of a headrest person as I tend to sit bolt upright but it keeps everything in line so adds extra comfort as an extension of my back to my neck.
Details and things to note (See pictures):
Colours are cream-white, grey with a kind of pea soup green seat, I wasn’t sure about that combination at first but it looks stylish and fits in well.
Height adjustable chair, headrest, armrests and lumbar support with an incremental recline as well as a tension adjustable rocker. Plenty of comfort adjustment options for me to get the perfect positions for different tasks. All fairly quick and easy to adjust.
The armrests are a dense foam, so not hard plastic but not soft sponge either. I’m fine with this as the armrests on my previous chair were hard moulded plastic so this has a warmer feel and more give to it.
There are only two controls under the chair so I won’t be overrun with levers for adjustments. There is a paddle rod that can be pulled out to release the rocker or pushed back in at an increment to hold the back in a position along its range of movement. There’s also a tension control that can be turned to increase or decrease the tension of the backrest rock. I did have to turn this quite a distance before the tension kicked in so just be aware you may need to turn it for a while before you start to feel resistance but it then reacts quite quickly once you reach that stage.
Final thoughts:
A very supportive and vented back keeps me cool and comfortable while I’m at my desk and there’s enough bounce in it to feel soft even though it looks quite thin and minimalist.
The chair rolls well on the castors and there’s been no squeaks, creaks or clicks so far while I’ve been using it.
A great lightweight office chair for a reasonable price and based on how easy it was to assemble, the level of comfort and support it gives me, I’d highly recommend giving one a try if you’re looking for a new desk chair.
Great back support and really good-looking chai
This chair comes with simple and clear instructions. Assembling it is really easy using a bunch of screws and bolts. The castors are forced in to the star base, other than that only minimum force is required on assembly. Since the chair has a lot of light colour parts with the mechanism unit greased up, there is a pair of white gloves included in the pack to make sure you don’t soil your these parts while you are assembling it, which is a nice touch.
The detail of this chair is of really high quality. Not just the colour looks vivid, all screws are covered up and castors are pretty good to glide too. I am 18stones and no problem ‘walking it’ around while sitting.
The headrest, armrests and the lumber support are all adjustable up and down, they just hit the sweet spot of support which is great for my back pain. The cushion of the seat is not extra plush like a recliner but good enough for long hours sitting. There are a few locking position for reclining to so you can lie down a bit and take a nap on it comfortably.
Very happy with this product. Great asset to have in these times if you are working from home. In fact, this chair is comparable to the 700 chair I have in my office.

This came obviously unassembled. I do quite enjoy a flat pack and the instructions this came with were really good. You can tell that this is a quality item even just by looking at the instructions!
It took me about 30 minutes to assemble and I could do this on my own without any help. It comes with the Allen keys you need and the instructions are in plain English, as well as other languages if you need them.
Once assembled, the seat is quite firm and the controls to adjust are great. You can recline and fix in place and you can lift and lower the chair as well as the Armrests, headrest and lumbar support. It’s very well thought out and I’m very impressed with it. It looks really good and I particularly like the mesh which means it keeps me at a comfortable temperature – given that I’m sat in this chair all day every day at the moment.
A great investment and I wish I had this chair at the beginning of lockdown!
Very comfortable and sturdy
When I saw the price of this chair, I thought it was very expensive, but actually it is a very comfortable and well made chair and I think it is worth the price.
It takes some self assembly, and it is quite heavy. It took me around 20 mins to build (probably 10 for someone that is more into self builds!) and it comes with a good set of instructions and all fixings needed including extras.
I like the look of this chair, even the lime green colour is quite pleasant and it is wide so would even suit a larger person. When you sit on it it feels very sturdy and you can even recline back on it safely and comfortably. I like that it gives full support even up to the head/neck.

I bought this chair to replace a gaming style chair I used to have.
I was fooled into thinking the gaming chairs were comfier than these standard office looking chairs until I started a new job and they had a chair just like this one that was super comfy.
I felt a bit foolish at that moment as I was expecting it to feel awful. But, It verified my need to get this chair and I’m not one bit regretful and would recommend it to anyone. Lumbar support is also great and I love that the lumbar support is adjustable up and down, as is the headrest and armrests.
It was really easy to put together and the only criticism I would have is that the silver plate that you push into the back of the headrest was a bit difficult to do but I managed it at the end (careful not to break it!)
Comfortable solid chai
I have had this chair for a few weeks now whilst working from home and I am very impressed with it.
The seat cushion is firm but comfortable, the arms move up and down allowing the chair to be rolled under the desk, back support is adjustable and there are no creaks from the chair.
I would recommend this chair if working from home.

There are two questions that I ask before buying something online that costs the kind of money as this chair. How good is it? And if something goes wrong with it or it comes with issues, will the supplying company fix it?
To answer to the first on Amazon, I read the reviews in the hope that they are from real reviewers and are being honest. Although they are not all positive for this chair, there was a good percentage that seemed to love it. Enough to make me think it was good enough to at least try. The fact that this is billed as an Amazon product certainly helped me think that I might get good customer service if I had a problem with the chair.
So how does it measure up on both counts. Well enough that I immediately bought a second one.
I’m over 6 foot and heavier than I used to be. Once I’d assembled all that I could of it – it’s easy to assemble by the way – I sat in it and immediately felt at home. It’s comfortable and stays that way all my working day. What couldn’t I include in the assembly? The headrest. My pack of screws was missing the 2 that I needed to add the headrest. One quick note to the supplier and replacement screws were on the way. Great service and they arrived promptly.
The second chair had a different problem. The packing for this one failed to keep everything in place in transit and one of the armrests had a permanent indent in as a result. It didn’t stop the chair from being great to sit in, but it was not really acceptable for a new chair. Another quick note to the supplier and a new one was on its way. They come in pairs, so I now have a spare as well!

The chair is still very comfortable after being used for a period of time, there is no unstable situation and workmanship is really good. It looks good and feel relax whether it is for games or office work.

Now this is an office chair. Perfect in almost every way – high arm rests and moderately high gas lift. Feels comfortable sturdy – also reclines around 45 degrees.
Lumbar support is just a plastic piece that moves up and down. Could be better, but willing to give it a pass.
Arm rests feel premium but are a bit slippy when the product is new. I’m assuming they calm down after a bit of use.

Product quality – The chair is made of hard plastic, it looks like it is easy to have scratch marks, the base is not made from solid metal. It has plastic coating. The wheels are great. The seat cushion is comfortable to sit with. However, the back support that’s where I had a problem. I changed my gaming chair to an ergonomic chair maily for support and comfort but the back support of this chair is made of plastic and caused me back pain after using for about 3 days of 4 hrs average use. I have tried to get in touch with the seller. If this pain continues while I’m using this chair. I might as well return this

A comfortable, well made chair.
This chair is so comfortable and ascetically pleasing. The headrest is great, you can adjust it to different heights which is helpful.
I put this together on my own and yes a bit heavy for one person but it is doable and pretty easy.
It’s smooth to move on flooring and carpet and is a great chair for at home or for in the office. It doesn’t have too much tension on the back so your back feels nice and relaxed but in a great position.
It is an expensive chair as far as chairs go but I don’t think it’s too expensive for an office or a gaming station. The arm rests are nice too even though there is no padding on them they are comfy to use and don’t feel plasticky.
I have an 800 chair in my office (which is now out of bounds!) but this one is better because it is much easier to use.
It has the right amount of adjustments (arms, height and tilt) although it would be 5 stars if you could move the headrest up and down (it’s not at the right height for a 6’1” man.)

Overall a good chair, plenty of support and adjustability and a sturdy build quality, w ith easy to follow instructions.
The minor flaws were only in the the build quality in a couple of places. The bolts that held the base to the base plate, two screwed in nicely, two were a nightmare! I put this down to either poor threads or too much threadlock on the threads, probably the latter.
The arms are held to the seat by three bolts, these were very easy to overtighten and I heard one arm crack a little, even though I used the supplied washers. Not reassuring.
The wheels did not fit in easily at all, out of the five two pushed in. the others had to be forced in, well they will never fall out I guess!
Despite these flaws, I still think the chair is a bargain, feels solid when put together and should last a a long time.

I’m 6′ tall and these offer good support for lower back and head, arms.
it’s certainly nothing too fancy. you won’t be sitting on a baby-soft memory foam pillow, but the seat is still great for working longer hours. the chair offers free tilting, and is very stable.
the chair uses rollerblade wheels rather than regular wheels. you will probably need a sturdy surface to put it on if your office has carpet: weight is distributed on a smaller surface, so wheels sink deeper. this is hardly a downside: rubber wheels won’t destroy your hardwood floor, and if you use a hard chair mat – the sound of these wheels rolling over the mat is pleasant.
UMI support is very proactive
The chair was easy to assemble and looks quite good when fully assembled. The height of back seat is nice for someone around 180 cm , the wheels are soft on carpet, the seat has nice cushion. I had trouble with the back support as it felt quite stiff and hard on my back, so I have to use an extra cushion to manage. I do have issues with back support even with chairs in office environment. I shared my concerns with UMI who quickly and appropriately dealt with it.
Comfortable, well-made office chai
This is a pretty decent office chair, with a firmly padded seat cushion and comfortable mesh fabric back and headrest, complete with adjustable height lumbar support. The chair comes in parts and requires assembly, though everything needed to put the chair together is included in the box and no additional tools are required. Indeed, there are only 15 hex head screws and accompanying washers to be added, everything else is slot together. It’s a quick and simple build. I liked that a spare of each of the small hardware items was included.
The instructions are well laid out and easy to follow, with diagrams for all of the stages. The diagrams are on the small side, but are clear enough to follow, and highlight parts being attached with the use of blue printing against otherwise black diagrams. The parts are itemised and pictured and for the hardware a guide with sizing information and a useful little pre-printed ruler is included in the instructions (though, to be fair, there are only 3 sizes of screw so it’s not too awkward telling these apart). A pair of protective fabric gloves is included in the box, though not mentioned in any of the instructions.
The chair has several points of articulation/adjustment: the gas lift; back tilt adjustment; as well as height adjustments for the armrests, lumbar support level, and head rest. Built, this is a good, comfortable chair and I like it very much indeed.
I was waiting a while to actually use the chair before deciding on review. From the top:
– Delivery and packaging was good, arrived swiftly and well packaged, nothing damaged.
– instructions fairly clear and took around 50 mins to assemble and tighten. They supply white glove which is good as you wouldn’t believe the colour of them once I had finished building the chair – must be covered in some kind of grease or dirt from manufacturing.
– once assembled it is easy to adjust to suit. Took me around 15 mins and found height, tilt, arm rest height, head rest and lumbar adjustments to suit
– one slight disappointment is that the chair could be a bit taller. At 6ft 2 it only just allows for my height at the maximum seat height and ideally would go another inch.
– look wise is smart but not great looking chair. I bought mainly for ergonomics so if you want something visually pleasing this is ok but not going to wow you
– regarding comfort I’ve been working from home for best part of year and I’m often on the phone from 8am until 7 in the eve and have generally found the comfort to be good. Because the arm rests can’t be dropped lower it does stop me being able to tuck the chair under the desk but more a minor issue than flaw. In general it is nice to sit on and have found it gives me the support I need particularly for someone who it tall and can suffer from lower back pain and poor posture
– overall I think this provides a good range of support, adjustments and comfort without breaking into the upper 200+ range chairs. Few things could be fixed including height adjustments and the silver insert placed on the rear snapped when I tried to fit but think still a solid 4 star chai

Excellent Warranty
I thought I’d write a more detailed review about my UMI chair.I bought my UMI chair November 2020, these days I’m retired so I have a lot of time on my hands and I must say that the UMI is my go to chair. The mesh keeps me cool in summer and in winter it allows the heat from the radiator behind me to pass through the chair which just adds to what is a very comfortable chair.
Recently my chair developed a fault, one of the armrests had split so I contacted the seller and in no time I received a new armrest which was covered by the 3 year warranty.

I’ve never really noticed much difference with chairs as I have worked in many different offices and sat on all sorts of chairs for hours and rarely have I thought it was uncomfortable. Anyway this is slightly better than I am used to in some ways as it’s got lots of adjustable bits and is comfy with quite a bit of room.
Given there are so many chairs for sale this one seemed to be one of the best priced ones which had adjustable lumbar and other bits which the more expensive ones had. So while I’m no chair expert it seems well made and I’m glad I got it.
I am 6 foot 3. With the headrest raised it is still a little low but doesnt really interfere with my shoulders. When I put my head back it is resting against the upper half of the head rest. No complaints here.
The wheels are a hard rubber so no awful noises on wooden floor or damage.
Easy to assemble. I am only one day in but no squeeks or any other annoying noises, the chair is silent.
The arm rests are a soft dense rubberyfoam. Tilt has two lockable positions, up right or tilted right back. Lumbar support is good.
All in all i am very happy with my purchase. It is quite a large heavy box the chair comes in and the poor DPD guy carried it all the way up the stairs without any handles on it!

The lumbar support on this chair is very good for the price. However the headrest, is too low for anyone measuring higher than 167cm (5ft 5). I have had to pass this chair down to my wife, as the headrest was constantly hitting my shoulders. By the way, I am not particularly tall – 180cm.

This is a very good chair The chair is professionally constructed and looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. The communication I received from UMI was also excellent. I could not fault them. The chair was delivered with 48 hours of my order. The instructions were also very clear and easy to follow.

Really good ergonomic chair but not suitable for childre
I had ordered this as I have previously used products from Umi and feel that they are really high quality products. I got this for my daughter to use while she is studying at home to keep her back more supported. I have personally used an ergonomic chair and found them to be a big improvement from traditional chairs.
When I got this, I noticed that this weighed quite a bit more than other chairs I have used. After checking the contents inside, I noticed that this had much more premium materials and felt really high quality. I managed to assemble it quite quickly as it came with all the tools and instructions to help with the assembly. I also used my electric drill driver which made it a bit faster. It took me less than 30 minutes to fully assemble.
After assembly though, the chair felt really great. It can support my rather large body quite easily but for my daughter, she was really happy with the amount of space she was getting on the chair. It is really comfortable to sit on and provides really good support for your back. It felt really sturdy as well.
It does have an ergonomic shape to help support my daughters’s back but as she is not as big right now, she had to sit a bit in the front and did not touch the back so couldnt make use of the back support. The head rest also didnt prove useful for her as she is not that tall to make use of that. It is flexible but does not go so low.
The seat is well cushioned and feels quite premium. It is similar to the chair I had in my office and my daughter has been using it for a few weeks without any issues.
Overall, I feel this is a really good ergonomic chair with premium parts and is priced quite well. The ergonomic features are not useful for a smaller kid so you have to be careful if you are ordering it for your children. I think there should be a minimum height and weight also mentioned here to provide clear guidance. 4 Stars

Do you want a long review? Honestly.. you don’t need it. This chair is great, amazing value, really nicely finished.
The base is very nicely padded and comfortable, the tilt is well weighted and supportive, the split adjustable lumbar support is very effective and the solid arms have a good range of adjustment. It does feel a bit warm after sitting in it for a while, so in summer it could be less well ventilated that the other Umi chair Amazon offer which is mesh all the way, but this is no different to any other chair with a fully-trimmed cushion base.
Genuinely impressed with the quality, fit and finish of this, and the instructions are clear with spare parts and gloves to protect you from the oil on the screws (which prevents rust). Took minutes to assemble and feels like it will last years.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this as the last mesh office chair I tried was really uncomfortable. This one is fine though. It has a padded seat which the other one didn’t and it seems to make all the difference. I may have a faulty one though as I can’t get it to stay reclined (by any angle) as it just ‘pops’ out and back to upright as soon as it is sat on. Aside from that it’s all good and I’ll live without being able to recline. Comfy chair overall.
its comfortable but looks cheap
All the elements look fairly cheap, but they assemble into quite comfortable chair.
The biggest issue chairs for <100 price range is that they become "wobbly" in a year or two.
I have got a comparison in my office and although this one is more expensive, it is from the same type of material. hardened plastic, the same screws sockets etc. its just a little bit better fitted.
Also - i am 6'2" and would recommend max height 6'1" but its not a big disadvantage. the headrest is poking into my shoulders when i sit straight and lean back.
Excellent desk chai
This chair is simple to construct on your own. When built, you have an excellent chair. The castors glide effortlessly on carpet and hard surfaces. The gas lift works perfectly to raise and lower the chair. Other adjustments all work as intended and it’s easy to configure to suit my size and support good posture. The result is a supremely comfortable desk chair that I can sit and work in for several hours without feeling any aches or pains in my back, arms or legs.
Impressive quality chai
I’ve put all the parts together by myself. It wasnt lightweight tho, but I managed. Instruction clearly shows what goes first and what is next, to assemble. We got bag with screws, including one of each extra, in case, and a pair of white gloves to wear when assembling (rather small-medium fitting), because screws are greasy.
Chair looks modern and is more than comfortable for us. It have thick and quality seat, breathable net like back of the chair with support against backache, also have head rest and arm rests.
Once head rest is assembled and the silver plate insert covering the screws it will be not possible to re-assemble it unless we damage the silver plate (it’s only about the headrest, rest of the parts we can undo).
Chair have an option to lay down the back under max 120 angle.
The wheels works very quiet and smoothly.
That’s unusual chair, I never seen before.. have few parts adjustable- lumbar support, headrest and armrest (press of the button), knob under the seat.
Chair have gas lift system to adjust the height of this chair.
When I mounted armrests I noticed there was an option to adjust them little bit within the screws and metal holes on the bracket (for bigger people).
This chair is definitely much better than our old one, cheap one. Makes huge difference to the comfort. My daughter loves this chair and uses it every evening. I used it too and love it. The old plastic swivel chair went on attic and I dont think will come back any time soon 😉
Personally, I think chair like this is expensive, it’s nearly 170 , not for my budget so I’m really grateful that I can own one like this.
Great chair.
I love this chair. It is so comfortable and looks great. I was using my dining table and chairs as my home office as working from home is new to me but I didnt realise the damage I was doing to my back with it. This has changed my life completely. I dont need to take as many breaks and I’m not sore when getting up. It has great lumbar support and moves and flexes perfectly for comfort. It is easy enough to assemble and adjust to your liking. Definitely five stars and highly recommend it.
It looks cheap, and has limitations, but it's very comfortable
This is the second Umi office chair I’ve tried, and it’s slightly cheaper than the first one, a mesh-seated one which at time of writing is priced around twenty quid more. However, it turns out that this is the better chair of the two for me. It does look a little cheaper- more black plastic, less aluminium finish- but it’s comfier, firmer, and more versatile than the other one.
In many ways they’re very similar. The building instructions are practically identical, and elements like the gas column are the same item. The back is stronger though, and gives you more concerted lumbar support that doesn’t just cave in and recline as soon as you lean backwards on it. The headrest is also a better fit for my (average) height, and feels like it’s been more planned out to how people actually sit, rather than how it will look.
The seat is a very plain-looking black fabric with a touch of gloss that makes it look a little cheaper than it actually is, but it’s actually very comfortable, with a nice firmness of foam that moulds around the shape of your bum and gives a kind of effortless support without making it feel like you’re sat on a trampoline. It’s not described as memory foam, but it has similar-ish properties and despite looking basic, the seat is one of the highlights of this chair. There are other good details too, such as the smooth rolling casters.
There are still certain limitations and disappointments on the quality front, for a chair in this price bracket. The adjustable arms feel particularly floppy and cheap, for example. There are fewer versatile adjustable parts than on some equivalent chairs, so elements such as the arm rests can only be adjusted in one plane (up and down), and won’t rotate.
Although this one didn’t come with scratches on it out of the box like the other one, it’s clear that whoever originally boxed up this product at the warehouse doesn’t enjoy their job, because the pieces are lazily thrown into a cardboard box with inadequate protection.
Assembly of the chair is fairly straightforward. It’s offered with assembly included, which would be useful if you’re in a big rush or you have a physical impediment that might make it difficult, but if you’re capable of building other flatpack items then you can build this in well under half an hour- even if you take a wrong turn and use the wrong size screws or put the base on the wrong way around, which I, erm, might possibly have done- but only in the interests of testing, of course
It’s not top of the range, and it doesn’t “wow” on the appearances front, but this is a very decent office chair that you can comfortably sit in all day, with quite a few positives about it.
UMI. Ergonomic Office Chair.
I got this to replace my clapped-out old computer chair; it’s relatively easy to assemble out of the box, though the instruction sheet could be a little clearer; there are a couple of hex keys and a selection of screw-bolts in the hardware packet (with an extra one of each size) and all the component parts are bagged and easy to identify; it took me about an hour to put it together.
The chair is comfortable with adjustable armrests and it can be raised and lowered to suit one’s desk level and seating position.
It rolls smoothly and doesn`t take up a lot of space — once assembled it feels fairly lightweight.
I’m very happy with it — I’m sitting in it while I write this.
A very practical chair with good back support.
Did absolutely loads of research before buying this chair and I’m very impressed.
Now I’m a big bloke (6ft 2 and circ. 19st on a bad week) and this chair is really comfortable and has shown no sign of struggling when I’m sat in it.
I’m working from home at the moment so am often in this chair for a solid 8 hours a day and it’s shown no sign of squeaks or loosening on any of the joints and, most importantly, it’s really comfortable. It was easy to put together (took about 30 mins) and I’m really pleased I chose this chair.
