Very very happy with this light! It’s perfect for my room, it gives lots of light and is dimmable. Overall it does the job in every sense. The quality and look of the product is wonderful.
This arrived today and I have installed it and got it working. With it being for my kitchen, I couldn’t decide whether to go with the cool or warm one, but I think I probably made the right choice. I would say the colour is somewhere between warm and natural, but a good neutral light. It is a nice low-profile design and dimmable, which is something I was looking for.
Installing it was easier than most, because once the wires are connected you simply hook it onto the bracket and twist (more or less a bayonet fitting) rather than having to hold it up, work out where the screw holes are before putting the screws in with your third hand!
The downside of this is that the fitting seemed to deform slightly when tightening, so I didn’t want to tighten it too much.
Also, there’s nowhere to connect an earth wire, which given it is metal, strikes me as not ideal.
Other than that, so far so good!
The main thing is that the dimmer function works really well. I linked it up with smart dimmer switch that can be controlled using an app and remote. The light itself is well made and sleek design gives a nice feel. Overall, good product.
Been looking at a new living room light for a while, all I’ve fancied have been preposterously expensive. This is a bright light, much needed in a dark room. Looks stylish. Impressed with it for the price

Really like these lights. The warm white version is very stylish and really sets off the room. Brightness is great and option to dim (with a trailing edge dimmer switch) works really well.
Annoying no-one seems to offer a dimmable version of a wall light that matches this style. The closest match I could find is the HARPER LIVING Halo light – https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07VYM142P – however this doesn’t have a dimmable option, at least not out of the box.
You can however swap out the transformer in that light with the Knightsbridge W350DA one – https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076QHQ5HJ – pretty much as a drop in replacement and convert those non-dimmable wall lights into a dimmable version. BONUS !!

We haven’t installed these yet but the quality and feel is initially very good. The 4 Star rating is for the feel and look of the quality so far. On looking at the install fittings these will be very easy to install.

This is a great light however extremely bright. We have this in our office which works week. Think it may be too bright for your lounge though.

Bought two of these first when we were in lockdown for dining room and then liked it so much decided to get another for the kitchen which had been reduced so even better lovely and bright and had lots of nice comments about them would recommend to anyone

I purchased five of these lights and fitted them myself, I love they are dimmable and are easy to control, I would recommend ditching the connector provided and using plastic block connectors that are more able to accommodate more wires for loop ceiling rose wiring and have larger screws to the connections can be stronger. There is plenty of room inside the fitting to house the larger connectors and saves a lot of time faffing about. My friends love these lights and one just asked me to get him one. I used this dimmer with it as it is remote control and works really well. Update 31/10/20 just purchased my sixth light all others working and I am very pleased they are amazing value for money.

Bought 2 of these lights for my lounge & dining room. I found the light easy to install. The lights look very attractive, stylish and look the business. I bought the 3000k versions which I found to be very bright illiminating every corner of the room. Although very bright, the light is warm. I have also installed a dimmer switch and the lights dim very nicely with no hint of a flicker creating a lovely warm ambience. I am pleased with my purchases.

Great light. Self install so the grey and white wiring were a bit confusing but an internet search sorted. Very happy with the purchase.
Really impressed with the light, easily enough light to illuminate a medium size bedroom and appears very good quality Only received and fitted it today. I had also ordered a Varilight V pro dimmer as recommended but it still does not turn the LED’s off fully. I have now ordered a Varilight Glowfix which I hope will sort the problem but this was an additional 15 I hadn’t expected to have to spend. Would have been 5 stars other than the dimmer issue

Its a beautiful light. Love the brghtness and the way it dims slowly when you turn it off.
Dimmer option is very good as sometimes you want les brightness.

Very happy with our light looks fantastic, worth the money as many are not bright enough and this works great on our LED dimmer switch.
Worth noting if you wish to put on a dimmer you need a dimmer switch specific for LEDS. (Don’t put a standard dimmer switch)
Very bright, but we have a dimmer switch now, so excellent. Very white light, cool not warm. Nice shape, and quite tight to the ceiling so doesn’t come down too low.

Great brightness, changes the atmosphere of the entire room, very happy with the purchase, have had it for a few months. Only concern is the rapid blink before fully powering on but it is negligible.

Note, if using with LightwaveRF you will need to install a load resitser. 10w will do it otherwise when the light is off, it will pulse.

This light looks great in my lounge. It is really quite bright but it works really well with the varilight dimmer I bought separately, with no flicker.

Having redecorated our house, it was time for some new lights. These are elegant and certainly bright, although a little less “warm white” than I expected, (but perfectly acceptable). It would have been useful to have had a helper when fitting this light, but “the missus” is vertically challenged, so would have been fatigued holding a metal fitting at arms length. Instead I fitted the bracket that secures the light to the ceiling, then made a sort of harness (of tie wraps) to support the light from the ceiling bracket, whilst I made the connections. Anyway, all done now and it looks superb and is far brighter than the previous 100W (equivalent) bulb that was there. Waheey, I may buy another one for the dining room.
I bought the square 3000k. It looks fantastic in my lounge. Very bright, I wasnt sure how bright it would be but I can confirm they more than brighten up the lounge. They are dimmable as well (with a dimmable LED switch, I am using the Varilight). THe do flicker at the lowest settings, so just raise the minimum on the Varilight and then you wont get any flickering.

Excellent light, great quality, and easy to install. Its also incredibly bright, so much so I’ve modified mine to make it dimmable lol. If anyone else wants to do the same these dimmable LED drivers work a treat to replace the non dimmable one it comes with: “Mean Well PCD-40-700B”, I got mine from RS components, you just swap out the included one for that one. I assume this voids any warranty though.

I falled in love with this posh led light when I first saw it at friend’s house. Order one to replace the old one straight away. Received item promptly in few days. It looks perfect fitted in my dining room- posh -warm – bright . Absolutely love the desig
I’ve put mine in a hallway, and it’s a huge improvement both in light output and colour on the one that I had in there before (older LED tech).
I personally went for the ‘warm white’ 3000k option and whilst it’s perhaps not as warm as I was anticipating, it’s perfectly acceptable. I wouldn’t want to go any cooler (ie the 4000k model) for most rooms though as I think it would make a room look rather stark.
Negatives – not many! There’s a tiny flicker when the light turns on, but once it’s on the light is stable and (so far) reliable.
For the price though, if you’re looking for a modern looking, extremely bright ceiling light, you can’t do much better imo.
Fabulous stylish light. I have had it installed in a medium sized bedroom and gives off a bright white light almost like its a bright sunny day but inside. It also makes the room feel larger as it sits close to the ceiling unlike most lights the hang down. due to the light bulb.
Awesome light. Looks great and is brighter than previous lights we have had. May be slightly more than you might want to pay but it is worth it.

5 There is a slight flicker (single ‘flick’) when they are turned on
6 30W consumption – not that low compared with some units
They do come in 2 different ‘colour’ temperatures. Personally I like the bright output but some may find it too bright. Recommend you go to a shop and see the difference between the two different colour temperatures.

20 months on we still love these lights and almost everybody who sees them pass compliments. They have transformed the living and dining rooms

Intially I was not impressed when I opened the box, but when fitted in my bedroom I loved it. It is bright and designed very well to suit your master bedroom or Lounge.
