This BAOSHIOSHAN 3 ton bottle jack replaced the factory bottle jack in my 1st Gen Tacoma.
The original spilled its guts while changing wheels in a precarious spot in a high-traffic intersection, and the floorjack was at home. Luckily some dude pulled up in a Land Cruiser and had a floorjack in his bed…
    Anyways:
+Jack seems solid and well built. Def better than my factory one was.
+No air or bubbles in the hydraulic pump/mechanism. Pumps smoothly.
+Doesn’t have any problems lifting my Taco all the way to full extension.
+Longer extension than any other bottle jack I’ve used.
+Small enough to use in tight spots.
+Comes in a plastic case for storage under the backseat.
-It’s smaller than I thought. I should have got the 6 ton.
-Small footprint. Make sure it’s level/plumb before extending or it may tip.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersArrived looking okay. Expecting some oil loss and air, I followed the procedure to fill the oil and purge the air, but every time I lower the rams with the release valve open, it spews oil out between the pistons. I repeated the purge and fill procedures several times and tried to put load on it and it just spewed oil again. Seals must be bad and I reached out to the email address on the card that was in the box. No response yet. I’ll be returning it.
EDIT: Customer service reached me and determined that a replacement was needed. That replacement was received in good working order within 2 days. Review changed from 1 star to 4 for unexpectedly good customer service.

The jack mechanism is cumbersome, not much different than using a cheap wind-up jack, like the one South Pointe Honda in Tulsa Oklahoma stole out of my new 2020 Civic, EX.

I never had a spare tire and jack in my car and I experienced a flat tire recently and had no other option than getting my car towed which was a waste of time. I used this jack to change my flat tire. It’s very small and it can be kept in the trunk with the tire and doesn’t take much space.

Customer service reached out to me and sent me a new jack. I finally was able to test it out a few times and I’m very happy with it. Since I have a high clearance vehicle and I still wanted to be able to work on “normal” cars I looked far and wide for a jack like this. When my original didn’t work well I couldn’t find a good alternative product. I very happy with the customer service and the new jack works great. I’ve left my original review below, because somethings like the force needed to lift the vehicle in the second stage is still accurate.

I used this pump on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and it worked well. The long extension helped lift the Jeep high enough to get jack stands underneath. The handle wouldn’t stay in the handle holder and it got pretty hard to pump as it got higher. I remember thinking that a come-a-long bar that could fit in the handle holder would be the perfect match.

Then I tried to use it again. This time on a much lighter vehicle, my girlfriend’s Nissan Rogue. I was again happy that it fit under the much lower clearance vehicle, and I tightened the pressure release and started pumping. Pretty soon it got to the chassis and it would lift and lower with every compression. I tightened the pressure release as hard as I could (with my hands) and it didn’t change. It looks like an internal valve has failed and its totally worthless now.
The pump just sat in the case for two months. Get what you pay for I guess?

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe Jack it self is just what I needed for changing a flat tire on our pop up camper. Small, compact, and strong enough to do the job. The jack handle is clumsy to use and almost worthless. Doesn’t stay together as a combine unit very well. The jack handle also slides through the crank sleeve opening for the jack handle which is annoying. The jack case arrived cracked in several places although it was packed well. In the long run all I really wanted was the Jack. I made a new handle out of 3/8″ black pipe. I’ll work on putting a stop on the jack handle sleeve. The case is in the trash. Bill

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersThis jack has enough power to lift our entire truck yet takes up very little space! The double extending ram makes it easy to put the jack in place and it extends enough to easily raise our high clearance truck. If you find this review helpful, please assist me and click the “Helpful” button below. Whether your going off road or to the mall, this jack can do it all!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt arrived intact with no damage and works better than my old jack. I did have to remove some paint when I broke it in but I expect that. The only thing I am not crazy about is the handle.

I had to find a bottle jack so it fits under my car as it’s fairly low, this jack just about fits under and is capable of actually lifting it very high up. I does feel a bit heavy once the second ram starts to operate and the saddle is small (I’d like it bigger) might be better suited for a smaller car but I’m using it for lifting volvo v70.
    I find the case useless.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhen I received this unit I questioned how something so small could possibly be powerful enough to lift 6,000 pounds. When collapsed this jack is around the size of an aluminum can, it comes in a plastic case which is fairly cheaply constructed and difficult to close, and has two interlocking posts used for jacking and then releasing the pressure.

Over the last couple of months I have put this jack through multiple tests and I’ve been impressed again and again. I have jacked up my lawn tractor in order to work on wiring – being small in size it worked perfectly for getting in the small area so I could position it under the frame and safely lift it. I changed a tire on a standard sized sedan, again no issue whatsoever. Most impressively, I decided to take a chance and used this to jack up my 12×16 studio in order to level a corner that had sunk. I positioned this on a stable block and using a piece of heavy sheet metal on the top so the top of the piston would not dig in to the floor joist, I was able to lift the studio and brace it – AMAZING!

This little beast is AWESOME. It’s easy to use and the small size really comes in handy as there is often not much area to work with when fitting a jack beneath whatever you’ll need to lift. I have had zero issues with the jack itself. While the case is not particularly well made and getting it snapped closed can be a challenge that is really a minor inconvenience when the jack performs as well as it does.

This is definitely a product I recommend.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersLooks very well made. Strong and solid. Total height is 22.5″, which is very good. The whole thing is very very big, is a monster. Very thick and very heavy. I think is designed to lift heavy equipment. I need it to lift my boat trailer that has dual axle and is about 6000 lb. But at this point i do not know if is worth keeping it. To use this only for flat tires when is need it maybe is overkill. But again i need something that can lift the trailer high enough so i can replace the flat tire, and this is the only one out there that can do the job, and have an acceptable size for storing inside the boat under a seat compartment. Again i only need this only for my trailer. I also got the electric version of a 4.5 ton, but that one is way to long to be stored under the seat. So i do not know what to do yet, but i love this thing. Is very easy to raise it and takes a little time to extend to maximum height. Again is very strong and sturdy. If you do not see another review here it means that everything is OK with it. Again looks a good product strong and heavy duty. For now 5 stars is well earned. I only had it for few days but i tried it many times. No leaks or oil spills, not stuck open, or hard to lower it down. Works good. I wish it was a little less fatter and not that heavy, but i can trade all this for the lifting height. Delivery was fast as promised. The box that arrived in was very thin and had a little damage, but the jack inside was OK. Happy camper. Thank you.

The package isn’t pretty but it works. The box it came in is made of brittle plastic and had cracks and holes in it. The unit itself looks used and was spray painted red with a rattle can before being shipped to my door.
But it works. Actually pretty good.

We live hours away from many services, so having the equipment to take care of our needs is important. This jack is not the strongest, but it does take are of our cars, truck, and even our small tractor. We have had no trouble With the lift, or the coming back down.. It was easy for my grandson to operate, and seeing how well it works, my daughter is sure she can use it when necessary. The lock feature works and is reassuring. An essential tool for this farm.

    (Reviewing the 3-ton version)

Ok, let’s just get this part out of the way right up front – this is expensive for a 3-ton bottle jack. Is it worth it? If you need the feature that sets it apart, you bet. If you don’t need the extra lift, then no.

To be honest, I didn’t even know they made a jack like this (with the double-extension shaft) until I came across this one. My first surprise was how small it is. I just assumed it was going to require a beefier package, but the main bottle is only slightly larger than a 12oz soda can, and the overall weight is only about 5 pounds… similar to other 2 or 3-ton jacks. This is pretty amazing.

The double-ram design means you can get it into places where a traditional 2-4 ton jack would fit, but you have almost TWICE the lifting height since the second tube does not start extending until the first one reaches its maximum height. Combined with the screw-top, this fully extends to over 16 inches (about 10″ of total lift)

(Just a word of caution: keep in mind, if you’re lifting something like a car, where you lift one side while the other side stays on the ground, the higher you lift, the greater the slip angle is going to be where it contacts the frame. Getting that extra 5″ of lift probably won’t affect the angle that much on a car, but just make sure you’ve got a good, secure lifting point.)

Everything else about it looks and works like a standard bottle jack – it’s just the second ram extension that really sets this apart.

5-stars for the tool itself, 4-stars when considering the price. If it was under fifty bucks, it would definitely be a 5-star product.

A VERY cool tool for specific applications.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was the smallest (3-ton) unit, but was still smaller than I expected for a double ram unit. It basically takes a standard single ram unit and put a smaller piston inside the first. The main ram is slightly larger, but the second is still smaller, with a pretty small head on it for making contact to whatever you’re lifting. That means it doesn’t do as good of a job of spreading the force around. The range of motion is pretty good an appears to match the specs reasonably. The case is a nice feature. Sadly, they still have the cheap handle that doesn’t stay locked together or in the jack and does a poor job of engaging the release valve. The slot in the handle was large and cut off axis making it difficult to capture the pin on the valve. That was made worse by the fact that the valve initially wouldn’t move, but would bounce back with a rubbery feel regardless of which way you tried to turn it. I eventually broke it loose, but it took a lot of force. Not sure if it was just the seal wasn’t lubricated or what, but hopefully that won’t be a regular occurrence or the whole jack won’t be usable.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersJack arrived with lots on paint damage. Looks like a used jack. Base is made of a poor quality cast steel. It has lot of cavities and imperfections. See picture. It came with a descent case but it was cracked presumably in shipment. However, it is still useable. Overall, it is an ok jack. But I think for the money I could have found something better. I’m tempted to take to the jack tester at my work to see if it can lift a 3 ton load.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe jack manufacture is typical of what you get for a Chinese made product, serviceable but low quality in the fit and finish. The machining is acceptable but the finish is rather rough. A case is included, but it is for a larger jack. There is lots of packing foam that can be trimmed to keep the jack from bouncing around. The case is poorly formed and will not sit upright on its own. The clasp is barely functional and should not be trusted. The case does have the ability to apply a small padlock if one drills out the dimple. Since I lose keys easily, I am using a twist tie to secure the closure.

I disagree with a previous reviewer that the jack is greatly overpriced as this is a double ram, not your typical $30 single ram jack. But as noted, it will be of similar manufacturing.

Time will tell if they can provide long-term service. But, I was pleased that out of the box both of my jacks worked flawlessly. They lifted, held, and returned my house deck that needed repair easily.
