I constantly find myself struggling to find tools and equipment that weren’t designed for large manly hands. This one fit the bill. Small enough so my tiny hands weren’t over stretched holding it and light enough to comfortably work with to get a job done

Great value, lightweight. Love the fact it has a box attached to collect the dust. Used for sanding furniture.

Easy to use and reaches right into corners. I’ve used this for half a dozen jobs already and am very pleased with the results.

It’s exactly what i needed size wise and i didn’t want the battery to die halfway through a job so it’s corded. The rectangular plate is perfect for bigger jobs and the ability to change this for the 2 other base plate options iis great and had come in handy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to sand down a window sill I was going to repaint and it did the job well enough but left my room covered in an ever present film of the paint I had sanded off, there is a small collection pot that it’s meant to automatically go into but it’s about as useful as a chocolate teapot. It either fills up too quickly or doesn’t collect any of the dust so that’s my main complaint. I’d also recommend buying something like a 60 pack of Velcro sanding pads for this instead of buying the branded stuff.

Great little hand sander but would have been nicer if Bosch were a bit more generous than 3 sanding pads.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is my first sander and hopefully the last as sanding is a horrible job if you are using it on the walls like I was.
Overall the sander did a good job. The tip was really powerful and reached all the difficult angles. The dust box works well but I don’t think the filter was necessary. It is Bosch and sturdy as expected.
    The big cons are:
    – It is very heavy
    – Its large handle makes it difficult to hold for long.
    – Cleaning is a nightmare: the little box that holds the filter is very very difficult to remove. Really difficult. I used all sorts of tools to help me open it and after a few uses, I still struggle. Not sure what Bosch’s idea was here.
I would buy it again just because it was reasonably priced however if I was planning on a lot of diy I would go for something lighter.

A nice little sander for small work, I bought to sand down a set of draws and worked well. The little dust box at the back of the sander is a little fiddly to remove but I expect will get easier the more you keep removing and emptying it. The sander pads are easy to change as just attach via Velcro.

Just used for the first time, and I am very impressed. Easy to change the sanding sheets (purchased separately) and the vibration is much lower than with my previous sanders. Light weight but powerful! Only issue is with the case – not much room to store spare sheets and I don’t seem to be strong enough to get the tabs to snap shut! Happy with my purchase.

I bought this little sander to help with kitchen cupboard sanding and it has been wonderful so far. Ive also use the finer paper to remove dried oil paint from artist palettes as well as sand all my timber windows. It’s really powerful and super easy to manoeuvre around tricky corners. I love it!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI loved using this sander; I felt like a real man. I only used it for about 20 minutes but grew a full beard in that time. Afterwards, in a wave of masculinity, I lead a crusade into the badlands to liberate an oppressed people and then went home for a brew.

This sander is more manoeuvrable than Herbie The Lovebug and just as cute. Buy it. You’ll love it and want to sand everything. I’m working on next door’s car bonnet as I write this. He doesn’t know yet, but I’m sure he’ll be fine about it.

Really good mouse sander, easy to use. I did have a little trouble removing the dust catcher in order to empty it, but that’s just a small niggle, and now I know how to remove it. It’s worth getting the extra sanding sheets at time of purchase too.

The good. Cleaned up water stained wooden floor very well.
The bad. Removing the dust box on completion is a pain. The filter just would not come off. I had to prize it off with a screwdriver. And the registration process to benefit from the 3 year guarantee is a nightmare. I wasted an hour of my unsuccessfully trying to register it. The ultimate irony was that I had to fill in a questionnaire on how much i liked the registration process before i had even got half way through it and discovered how rubbish it is. At the price I’m asking myself why did I bothe

After reading some of the comments, I was highly sceptical but found it impossible to pass up on sale. I just needed a sander to use on my shed’s timber frames and as a weekend rookie woodworker. I am relieved to say this has been the perfect purchase! From price point, to power and cleaniness, Bosch has delivered yet again. My time and money as a Bosch fan boy continues!

The nifty 100W sander comes in their signature carry case, all at a cute size. I hugely appreciate that the machine comes with three sanding pads of ranging grades. I admit a cordless sander would be more versatile to use but at this price, I am happy to accept the wiring. It also means there’s no fuss with buying/charging more Bosch batteries. I do feel disappointed, however, at the short wire length of 1.5 metres. What makes this an unmissable bargain is the dust catcher. There’s many sanders out there for the same price but few have a built-in dust catching mechanism. Sanding is all about dust and as long it could catch most of it, this would be a top sander. The sander has a velcro back meaning new sanding pads can simply be stuck on. I immediately took this to use in my shed.

The sanding is both clean and effective! I sanded the cross beam timber in my shed and was amazed to see in seconds a smooth, polished surface. On top, there was barely any dust! All the dust got swiftly sucked into the collector. I read a few comments about the collector being difficult to remove. It seems, however, people have missed the little notch at the back that makes this super easy to remove and empty. Moreover, after a full day’s use with more woodworking, I saw no damage to the velcro. I presume the complaints about the velcro wearing out is due to excessive or aggressive pressure- for serious large-scale jobs you should be using an orbital sander.

In all, this is another product I can back Bosch with offering value, quality and performance.

    My first and best sander!

This is a good little machine. It’s not that heavy and is easy to hold, but if you have little hands like me, will probably need both hands to feel secure. The dust collection box is a nice touch, but in order to remove the lid of it I had to ‘jimmy’ it with a screwdriver (I think it’s just a very snug fit). It doesn’t collect 100% of the dust, but definitely makes a difference.
It’s quite loud but bearable (just no midnight DIYing )
Comes in a purpose made case which holds it securely (for anyone like me that had trouble closing the clips- push where it says bosch not the raised dots)
All in all a nice little machine that does the job.

Good little mouse sander, but the on/off switch can be difficult to switch if you have small hands or problems with fingers. Quieter than our previous sander, and much less vibrations.
BUT, that ‘dust catcher’ at the back doesn’t hold much dust. Continually having to stop and clear it. If not it spits out dust into the air and everywhere, and clogs inside the machine.

Well impressed it works very well.
The reason for a 4 star and not five is for two reasons,
    1) The pads took nearly a week to come after the sander, frustrating when you have the sander and cannot use it.
and 2) the instructions on how to remove and open the dust collector is, to say least, poor and when it’s full of powder it is somewhat messy and possibly a health hazard, until and when, you figure out how to open it. Second time it’s OK.

It’s a pleasure to use – maximum power, minimum vibration. Even just holding it without even turning it on is pretty good ! The dust collection compartment is a little stiff to remove initially but it quickly gets easier with use. The Velcro attachment for the sandpaper works well – it comes with just a few sheets so buy some additional ones, available of course on Amazon. I’ve seen a few negative reviews of this product but I can easily see why they are massively outnumbered by the 5 star reviews. And it’s a Bosch after all, so it’s bound to be good. Just fantastic value for money.

Great little sander, feels solid, the sanding sheets are attached by a velcro type material which makes changing them easy. It does a pretty good job of sucking the dust up although inevitably it doesn’t capture it all. I’ll only be using it occasionally for DIY jobs. I know some have reported the velcro fails fairly quickly resulting in there being no way to attach the sanding sheets but i’ll update this review should i experience that. Even if it does fail after a while, can’t complain for the price.

I used this for detail sanding and this is the important part… it’s really for just sanding areas that aren’t accessible with a normal sander. So I’ve used this device to sand parts of a door, window sill and chair and it hasn’t shown any problems as others have pointed out. Although the sanding wasn’t prolonged for longer than 5-10 mins.

For the price it’s worth buying but I only gave it 4 stars because 1. the slide on/off button isn’t protected from dust and then the dust reservoir is hard to remove to empty and also it doesn’t really catch all that much dust.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am so glad I made the upgrade. The difference between this and my previous B and Q special cheapy is broad, but the price difference isn’t. I got this on a good deal at 30 (Feb 2021) when a cheaper in a DIY store is about ten quid less. That small extra cost gets you alot more. More manoeuvrability, smoother flow, drastically less vibrations and less mess. Oh and the hardcase, dead chuffed with the hardcase.
This was my first Bosch power tool. I’m hooked now. The warranty system online was a doddle. Although I’m confident it will last. You give the details online about your purchase, Amazon is an accepted retailer, and they email you out the warranty certificate and you have a profile on the website. Ideal if you get more Bosch tools.
So the most outstanding bit about this product is the amazing sanding ability, but without the severe pins and needles inducing vibrations. It glides effortlessly and whilst undertaking long winded sanding tasks it really doesn’t cause that horrible sensation in your working hand nor fatigue.
The quality is outstanding. Like I said the difference between a generic cheap one in a DIY store and a low priced Bosch one is huge.
I like how how easy it is to use and hold. The design has clearly had a lot of effort placed into ensuring the ergonomics are just right.
The sander benefits from a dust extraction and storing canister. It is extremely effective. Sanding is normally messy but this sucks it up really well and makes the whole task a lot less messy. Conveniently it stores all the dust in a removable cannister at the back which makes the task even easy. The capacity is acceptable to me, best for small to medium tasks, you don’t have to keep emptying it that often.
Overall, I’m a extremely impressed with this. Whatever the next power tool I buy will be, I am highly likely to get a Bosch one based on this sander alone. Like I said, normally I’d buy budget power tools and hand tools.

Great for small diy jobs. I sanded a small table and also a window ledge. I then sanded a larger table which was covered in varnish. The first two were ideal jobs. The larger table it worked very well on too but required several changes of pads. Excellent little sander for smaller jobs. It sucks up most of the dust too and yes, the dust collecting compartment is a bit tricky to remove but it works well.

Great wee sander I’ve used it lots and it’s still as it was when I purchased it I did notice when you sand onto plaster board you get a shock every ten seconds I presume it’s static building up from the paper on the board as it doesn’t shock when I sand anything else only plaster board

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReally nice little sander. I admit so being a bit of a Bosch blue snob but for occasional use I always found Bosch green more than adequate. Feels really nice in the hand like most bosch tools and though I’ve only used it a couple of times, I don’t foresee any problems. The micro filter system works really well with dust at a minimum. The dust collector is a tad stiff to remove but I imagine this is to stop it vibrating loose as with other brand Sanders that I have. It’s not a complaint as I’d much rather it stayed in place, which it does. I did notice that a few of the poor reviews were using this to sand fence panels and such which really is the wrong tool for the job. It’s a detail sander. Using this for major sanding jobs is like trying to mix concrete in a juicer. Something’s gonna give. If you want to sand small areas, patches and into corners then this is the tool. But if you intend to sand down the side of a barn you need a belt sander or at very least a large plate orbital sander.
