Summary:
I’m not a prize fighter by any means. I’m just a guy that likes to hit the bag for exercise. Overall, this is a good bag that looks to be very durable. I hit the bag pretty hard, and it seems like it will last. It took some time to assemble, but they give you everything you need except sand. I have a smooth floor, but it’s concrete and probably not the best surface for suction cups to attach. However, they do attach somewhat. I am used to hitting a 100 pound hanging bag which has a wider diameter. This bag is narrower and you have to hit it more carefully so you don’t bend and injure your wrists. I recommend this bag for exercise. Since I’m not training to actually fight, I can’t speak to how good it is for that application.
Details:
-You will need DRY sand. I got mine at Home Depot near the bags of concrete – don’t get it from the nursery because that’s wet sand you’ll never get it into the base. I put about 140 pounds of sand in the base.
-Get a good funnel that has a wide opening on the top and bottom. The bigger the openings, the faster the sand filling will go. It’s a pain, but necessary.
-This bag is ideal if you have smooth floors for the suction cups, unless you’re not a hard hitter. Even with the suction cups sorta working on my floor, I can still knock the bag over.
-The bag itself is harder/firmer than I expected. You’ll need decent gloves. I have some worn 14oz gloves that work ok. I haven’t tried my 8oz MMA gloves, but they should be ok.
Delivered to me within one week in good condition for me. Both peices the hollow base and the punching bag were in separate boxes and transfered to FedEx who delivered it. I filled the base with x2 50lb bags of all purpose dry sand, *make sure you buy dry sand not wet. The base could be filled with another 1/3 of a bag of sand but two bags were enough for me to keep the bag still and stable. You will need a large mouth funnel or to make some kind of a funnel to add the sand. Took me about half an hour to fill it and it gets a little messy but nothing a vacuum and wet towels can’t clean up. Came with all x19 suction cups that screw in and x12 bolts and x12 washers though Ionly needed x11, and I also got a mini wrench to tighten the bolts. All stitching and materials are good quality and I am very happy with this purchase. I am a beginner so I don’t anticipate the bag breaking or falling over. I’ve seen advanced fighters break this bag or make it go flying onto the floor with their strong hits. I am not there yet. Also the coupon I used a long with the discounted sale price for this item made it well worth the buy. Very satisfied.

I used 100lbs after 75 wasn’t enough. Once I put that in, it was sturdy! I could kick and punch fairly hard. I use it for cardio, not strength training. If you want to do strength, get something bigger, or built for it.
I use this in my apartment. There is nobody below me, but I have neighbors above and to both sides. After 5 pm I can strike with decent effort and have no noise complaints ( form over power during these hours). I go heavy during lunch time when most neighbors are at work and it can get loud. If you have wood floors and neighbors below you definitely avoid this purchase. Your footwork will be noisy even if the bag is not. That being said, I’m very happy with this freestanding bag.
I want to first start with the customer service. I first recieved a damaged bag. You can tell by the way the box was damaged that it was damaged during shipping. I messaged the seller and within minutes I had a reply. I sent them a few pictures of the deformed bag and of the box. Right away they told me they would send me a replacement. I recieved the replacement within two days of messaging them. By far the best customer service I have ever dealt with. 5 stars!!
Now let’s review the bag itself. I have a wavemaster in the yard. The wave master is very bulky and even when filled with water it moves around a lot. I had purchased a heavy bag but the space I am using in the basement is very small and with low ceilings. This bag was perfect for the space! It has the perfect size and height.The suction cups on the bottom are amazing! It didn’t work on the gym mat, but I cut a hole out and the suction cups hold it pretty steady on tile. It was able to take strong kicks and punches without moving from its place. I was extremely impressed. I filled the base with sand. It took 2 60lb bags of play sand. The sand gave it a more stable foundation. The sand plus the suction cup, the bag is not moving no matter how hard you strike it. Only thing was the size funnel I had made it a tad difficult to get the sand in quickly. It took me about 20 minutes to get it in. Which is not bad for the sturdiest portable bag.
Putting the base together with the bag was the simplest part. The easiest and fastest installation. It was very straightforward and the one tool needed was provided. I give this item 5 stars. I would highly recommend purchasing it. The price is also low in comparison to other products that do the job. You can’t beat the price, the customer service, and the quality of the bag. Don’t waste another second debating it!! Make your purchase!
I am 51 and a former amateur boxer. I love this bag as it is exactly what I needed to get back into shape. Good size and height, better designed than I thought it would be, and can take some punishment. Fits easily into my front room. I am very impressed and happy with this product.

I got this as a way to keep fit. Living in a caravan, I obviously couldn’t have one hanging from the ceiling.
I managed to put it together myself, so it must be pretty simple . I was worried about it’s stability as it is not suckered to the floor, and I could only put it up in my garden. But I need not have worried, it’s still stable enough for me without needing to being suckered down.
I’m over the moon with my purchase. It’s doing absolute wonders for my menopause!!! I can really get my frustration and anger out without any damage, so it’s a win-win for me!

Arrived on time and was as described. The filling hole isn’t very big but I used kiln dried sand and made a wide funnel from a squash bottle so it took about 20 mins to fill with three bags of sand. We kept tipping the base so that the weight was distributed. If the sand all sits in the middle the base is less stable. Don’t use builders sand as it doesn’t pour. Put the suckers on after it’s filled unless you are on carpet or paper etc or you can’t move it. The suckers are really good on our varnished floor but not so good on the painted floor. Once stuck down the bag wobbles a little when hit but nothing major. Only used it a few times so far but no issues.

Can take a beating
This product works really well. I added the recommended sand and use it on a concrete floor. While I’m not sure how much the sand vs suction cups contribute towards its stability, I can say with combined forces this bag can take heavy punches before the suction gives out.
I won’t pretend to be the strongest man in the world, but I’m heavy and mass moves mass. At best, with repetitive hooks, I can move the bag enough to where the suction cups fail, leaving the sand to keep the bag upright. When the bag resettles the weight of the sand pushes the cups down and it’s suctioned again. Beyond this, the bag can take non stop kicks, jabs, and crosses without fail.

Great bit of kit!
I would recommend this product and have done already to friends at work who are also into martial arts / boxing and keeping fit. I filled mine with kiln dried sand right to the top and glued the cap on before assembling.
It well weighted and reacts well when punched or kicked and does not make much noise, the quality is very good for the price and it looks nice in the gym room and does not take up make floor space due the base being narrow which makes it easy to work close to the bag or move around when punching and kicking.
Free Standing Punching Bag
The punching bag is easy enough to setup and the kit comes in 2 boxes actually. Build quality Is actually decent and it’s been a great addition to my home gym. It stands just fine and even after some strong punches, it stays put just fine. It’s been good to get back into my training and actually, even if you are a complete beginner, this it will fit just fine. I have filled it with sand and water so it seems work with that and make sure the surface is flat for best results.

he boxing bag was quite good and feels softlqand the pillar at the bottom that comes up was very good and at the bottom i suggest to use sand instead of water because sometime when we hit a little bit harder sometime the water comes out of the holes and if we use sand we don’t need holes for the sand and i don’t know why but when we put it on a floor that is not slippery it dose not suck it in and to make it it was extremely easy
I was after more professional heavy duty use boxing bag.
Found this one with nice suction cups and platform.
Arrived in two boxes, top and bottom part in different boxes. When first box delivered, i have opened box and couldn’t find the base only top part, worried a bit but next day got second delivered and it had base.
Set up very easy, just need to screw couple bolts and add suction cups if in flat surface. Or add water or sand to base to its more stable.
Overall great heavy duty free stand punch box, which can be filled with water or for extra heavy duty use fill up with sand.

Most affordable and worth it boxing bag
The most affordable boxing bag ever, it is so easy to assemble literally 12 screws and it gives the equipment to assemble it aswell, I personally filled it with water and used the sections cups which keep the bag in one position, I temporarily put water and was thinking or replacing with sand but the water does the job literally don’t even need to fill with sand anymore.

I bought this punching bag for my self and my son to practice his tae kwondo. Seems like it’s good quality and is sturdy enough to take a decent punch or kick. I filled it with water and it won’t move. Great product great fun exercise for all the family would definitely recommend!
Good quality
My house was burglarised last month so I decided to invest a new box bag for exercise purpose and become stronger. The box bag has better quality than my old one, solid and sturdy, it has rubber sucker at the bottom and it can be fixed onto the floor strongly so that I can also move it from room to room or sometimes from outdoor to indoor easily. It is also not very loud and not noisy when I’m using it and the kids won’t be disturbed. Good purchase. I hope I could grow more muscles with it.
I read a lot of the reviews about these bags before I took the plunge on this one.
I am really happy with it, I will give some context to the review to help understand my use of it.
Firstly I use it to exercise and for fitness not to become the next heavyweight champ. I am a 5ft 10 male and 13 stone.
The bag was easy to put together first of all, the only annoying thing was emptying the sand into the small hole, but you can use a funnel if you have one, I made my own out of a 2 litre pop bottle cut in half (lid was in the hole and the rest was used to pour into). I used 3 x 25kg bags of play sand bought from wicked for around 4.50 a bag.
The product itself once built is sturdier than I expected, I am using it on a garage concrete floor, which is uneven, so the suckers are no use to me, but I have them on anyway. Even without the suckers and just filled with the sand, it stands up to 97% of my punches, there is the odd power one or combo that will rock it to nearly over but I have it positioned in the garage so that it can’t fall and also I can just grab it as it’s rocking. So to date it has never fully fallen over.
It is a great bag and I really enjoy using it, it hasn’t got any marks or damage to the bag itself after 3 months of use, so very happy with it.
And I would highly recommend to anyone!

This was bought as a Christmas present for my son, to replace a previous punch bag that was worn and ripped. We are very happy with this this purchase. It arrived in two parts, as expected. It was easy to assemble and fill with water. The suction cups are amazing. They are so powerful and keep the punch bag in place. It looks good and seems hard wearing although it is still early days. We would definitely recommend this for anyone thinking about buying a standing punch bag.

I personally like the punch bag, looks cute to me and it doesn’t hurt much when I punch it. My son also likes to show his flexible knitting with it. It is a very good indoor exercise especially for this lock down period. It can takes the bad montion away and keeps fit at the same time.
It stands very well and stable on my wooden floor, even I don’t ‘t insert any sand in it. I think it is worth for the money.

After searching for ages for something suitable for my 6ft husband I saw this and decided (hoped) it would be perfect. I am so pleased with it as is he. Its very sturdy although we did add 2 bags of sand as well as having it on wooden floor to allow the suction cups to work effectively and its great can really throw some powerful punches without it flying off anywhere! Well worth the money delivery was great came in 2 deliveries just 1 day apart. Puts together easy and can see this lasting a long time. Its been great to help with boredom and exercise through lockdown would definitely recommend. Careful though cos once u have set up if there’s sand in your base like our will be a pain in the ass to move lol

I bought this about two months ago for the purpose of getting into shape without having high impact on my knees and so far I love it! The suction cup works great, I’m using it in my garage on a smooth concrete surface and it suctions OK. Granted I’m not a professional boxer so I don’t know how the suction holds up against professional power punches, but the average shopper on Amazon will enjoy this.
The material is easy to clean by simply wiping it down and that makes cleanup that much easier after a heavy workout. The bag itself has just enough softness to make the punch experience easier on the hands. I’d still recommend buying gloves before using though!
The bag is held up by tensioned springs, I thought that was brilliant when I first unpacked and saw this. It’s a great way to absorb the shock and quiet way too. No clinky chains to rattle loudly so people around you will appreciate the quietness.

Brought this as an addition to my home gym setup. Completely topped my expectations for a free standing punchbag. Easy to setup and once the base is filled half way with water, its sturdy and can take almost any punch/kick i throw at it. 100% worth the money!

I needed a standing punch bag that could closely emulate a true heavy bag, as I’ve trained on those for years.
This can take a decent punch. I would say it can handle roughly a 75-80% power punch without flexing drastically like other bags I’ve seen. Although it cannot emulate the weight resistance of a true heavy bag to get the full power, but that’s expected from standing heavy bags.
Base is smaller than expected, suction cups work decent on a hard wood floor, and filled the base with water. Seems to be holding up decently.
Doesn’t make much noise and doesn’t thud like other standing punch bags, so reasonably quiet. Think the rubber damper works pretty well, although the side suspension squeaks a little. Having said that, I’ve seen videos of the previous model, and this one seems to rock less.
The bag itself is PU leather, so will have to see how it holds up after some usage.
For the price point this is a decent purchase and addition to a home gym if you’re unable to mount a hanging heavy bag.
I bought the Dripex free standing punch / kick bag my 15 year old son to use indoors in our conservatory as he was going stir crazy during the lockdown after we had to take down the hanging punch bag in the garage due to concerns about the stability of the roof joists it was hanging on. He has also split the PU leather cover on his last two hanging punch bags previously.
Frankly I was unsure if a free standing punch bag would be strong enough for him so we chose this punch bag as it looked strong enough and up to the job even although it was not the cheapest.
What we liked about it:
– Quick and easy set up within 15 minutes by screwing on the floors suckers, filling with water, then bolting on the metal frame to the plastic base.
– Comes with clear instructions, spare floor sucker, spare bolts and a spanner so no additional tools required.
– Very stable when filled with water so no need to buy and fill it with sand.
– Floor suckers work really well on laminate floor to hold in firmly in place.
– Springs and shock absorbers do their job well so it takes heavy punches and strong kicks.
– Quickly rebounds for the next strike and is made of a strong PU leather and foam material.
– Actually looks quite impressive, is full height and good quality.
– The red flash in the picture are black on the model I received.
The only thing I could really say I disliked is that the punch bag arrived one day later than the base as it was shipped separately due to its size but it proved worth the wait.
If you are planning on doing a lot of kick boxing with feet sweeps you would need to be careful of the metal stand though to be fair its not proving to be an issue with my son.
Overall he is really happy and although he is using it everyday for training its holding up well.

Good but filling hole useless
Good item large. Needs alot of sand but whole ia very small unless your sand is dry it will be a nitemare to fill. I cut into the base anf made the hole alot bigger…fist size then covered hole with duct tape this wil make it easier to empty also.
My kids love this punching bag, especially my big boy, he is 13 years old but almost 6 feet tall and this punching bag has a perfect height.
Regarding the installation, I would use a word ‘easy’. My son managed to set it up himself. The bottom of the suction cup gives strong suction on the floor, which provides huge support to the sandbag, it is very stable even when hitting the sandbag strongly.
