You wouldn’t think that (the cheaper ones) would snap half way through our walk, so we decided to try this one. Absolutely love it!
I love this leash although after a while the anti-twist mechanism does not work if the line is twisted a lot.
Works well but I don’t like the lock part (not really intuitive)

I have a 15lb miniature Poodle. This leash is wonderful for him. It’s light weight and easy to lock and unlock. Very comfortable to hold even for my younger daughter who is 8 years old.

I have only had the product one day. Have not physically tried it on a walk with intended pet. Have only pulled out the cord and locked/unlocked inside the house. Gave it a 4 out of 5 stars just from using in the house. But so far, all indications point toward 5 out of 5.
Overall a good product. But the lock feature needs improvement. I have to return it due to incident that the leash cut my hand but it’s the risk you must take for using any retractable dog leash. So it’s my fault. i have switched back to traditional leash since to avoid getting harm again. But you prefer retractable leash, this one is okay.
Perfect for my little 5lb dog. Having such a small dog, I either have to use the leash meant for an extra small size which means I can barely fit three fingers through the handle or use a larger handled leash, but the tug from the retraction yanks my dog. This leash solves both issues. Highly recommend!
Needed a way to let new pup outside where it could exercise and become accustomed to new surroundings. Worked very well. Great price too!

We’ve got a chewers and he manages to get through the material after a while, but we are working on limiting his chewing. So hopefully our third will be our last.
The leash is good and easy to use. As you can see from the photo, my 6/mo puppy likes to play with it by attempting to chew on it.
Unlocking the leash while not under tension can lead to tangling, lock feature works and length of leash is pretty good
Really easy to use. Makes it easier to reign in my dog and adjust how length than a standard leash.
It’s my second time buying this same leash, different color. Works fantastic for my 14lb dog and my sister’s 15lb dog. He’s very strong but this leash can handle it, it locks easily, and it doesn’t pull hard. It’s definitely means for small dogs. It’s also comfortable to hold and attractive looking.
I use this leash on my overly active 25 lb Scottish Terrier and it’s a life saver. The only downside is that it tangles easily, but that’s probably more of a user error than manufacturing flaw. Make sure you retract the leash all the way after you use it.

I have a 14 lb morkie and a 6 lb yorkie. These leashes work great for them. When I use this with my little yorkie the handle fells like it weighs more then him, I know it doesn’t. But I have never owned another retractable leash to compare it to. I would definitely buy these again.
