My new 24inch hedge Shears are better then good. With the extra long 24inch cut you get the job done faster. The hand grips and comfortable and easy to hold and won’t make you hands sweat after a few minutes. The job is made much easier with the bolt that allows you to tighten the blades for harder cuts and loosen them for quick and easy cuts. The wave in the blade helps with thicker cuts as it holds and slices at the same time. The blades are good and sharp so this makes cutting so much easier. All in all great buy!

    Best 24inch hedge Shears.

Good quality shears and they feel good in my hands. Not too heavy but not too light or weak. The blades are sharp and easy to cut. My hands are not very big or strong but the wavy blades I think help cut though bushes and branches more easily.
It was a nice surprise that the shears came with a pair of really cute looking gloves! Totally happy 🙂

Good quality, Great value for money

Have been using it to cut the bush and the roses. Seems doing the job well. The blades are sharp and have no problem on trimming the branches. The shears are quite light, from my previous experience I don’t tend to use these shears on cutting thick branches too often as they will go out of shape easily. These shears look similar to my 10 one from supermarket which has already ruined from cutting too much thick branches. Although they came with a per of garden gloves, I still think it is a bit overpriced.

Nice one. Good size and not very heavy.
Very sharp blades. I do cut even trees with them.
Comes with the gloves, so my hands always saved from scratches.
I like them, price is good for such qulity.
    Do recommend them.

    Great tool

I found these hedge sheers pretty good to work with. I have used them a good amount to cut back a variety of bushes and hedges since having them and they work well. I find the wavy blade design prevents stems and branches from slipping along the shears so they grip what I am cutting a lot easier. It meant I could reduce my effort and don’t really have to think too much about how I am trimming.
They are quite light and I found my arms didn’t get fatigued using them. The length of the blades and handles combined are optimum for ground level cutting. The handles are reasonably grippy and comfortable enough to hold. The provided gloves fit my hands really well and are actually great quality.
The bumpers do not quite line up with eachother, they’re slightly out of alignment. They work fine but I wonder if over time this will get worse.
Twisting the cog to adjust the
In terms of durability they look alirght. For 22.99 they are a similar price to some of the more well known brands. I would have expected them to look a bit more robust. At the moment they’re fine but the overall finish of them and how they came presented did not inspire confidence. But we shall see. Over the next season I will update this review if I find they let me down. Otherwise, consider them a decent enough bit of kit.
One star lost due to overall presentation. I don’t like the cheap plastic sheath.

We used them to cut some bushes around the garden and they cut great very sharp for now.
Easy to hold and your hands don’t get tired too.
Size is not small and would be suitable for bigger jobs too.

Sharp, compact, lightweight and easy to use. Free gloves are useful and the blade cover allows you to hang them easily. Feels durable. Overall I’m impressed.

So far, I have been really impressed with these shears.

I have used them to trim back bushes which included lavender.

They are sharp and cut crisply.

I like the fact that you can adjust the tension.

The rubberized handle gives a solid but comfortable grip.

Nice idea to include a pair of gardening gloves. Too small for me, I would guess they are a medium, bright yellow, and green. They are quite thin, not heavy-duty, and have that slightly sticky texture, I assume for grip.

I am conscious of a couple of poor reviews on here, rest assured that should a problem develop I will return and update my review.

I go through about a pair of these a year, because shamefully I’m useless at putting them away over winter so they usually rust. I know, I ought to be better at this, but I’m not. So I tend to buy the absolute cheapest 7 shears from the supermarket or whatever.
That’s essentially what these feel like, they are however much more than that at time of review, so I would say if they are on offer, sure, go ahead, but for the price at time of review you could do so much better and get some that are good enough to want to remember to bring in for winter!
I had no issues with them but I only use them for thinner branches, I have loppers or an electric thingy for anything thicker, which is honestly how you’re supposed to do it, these are more like grass trimmers than branch trimmers.

    I’m really impressed with these.
They’re sharp shears with comfortable rubber handles.
The gloves are simple but a nice extra touch.
Overall I’m really happy with these and would definitely recommend them.

Extremely sharp and comfortable to hold.

That’s good size of garden shears. They arrived well packed and secured, together with medium size garden gloves (nice addition to the shears).
Shears are very sharp, in fact are great for very thin branches, trimming flower beds, etc. but this shears struggled with thicker branches. Husband have one shears with more wavy blade surface which easier cuts thick branches. This ones are good but not as good. They are more likely like big scissors which pretty easy can chip.
This shears have good plastic grip handles and are comfortable to use both hands.
Overall it’s good product for thinner branches and everything else to trim in garden which is on thinner side.

    Is not for thicker branches

Stylish with a comfortable handle. The cutting blades are easy to adjust making trimming your bushes effortless.

They felt well balanced and fit my hands nicely. I pruned three bushes in the same amount of time it would have taken me if I had used my electric hedge trimmer. And not having that dang cord to drag around gave me more maneuverability. The cut is also much cleaner, not that shredded look the electric trimmer would leave behind.

It comes with a gardening gloves They fit very well, and are well-made. I have all these prickly thistles in my yard and these gloves work great pulling them out of the ground, I do not get pricked by thistle thorns, and i can grab them and pull them up by the root, because this hangs on to them so well. I also used them pruning my rose bush and again, did not get pricked!
WOW!!! I do not think i will ever use anything else!

THese are being used to cut a hedge and leaves from ingressing to the pavement, they are really sharp, cutting well and comfortable to hold, they are very oily so ensure to keep topping it up to ensure a perfect cut every time.
Supplied with a snap on clear cover over the blades for use in storage.

Good shears. They come in a thin plastic cover with a popper on.

They are nice and sharp, mine still had the oil on the blades when i got them. I am deeply confused by the bad reviews that they bent out of shape, that cant be accurate because they are solid steel, and i trimmed down all my hedges and buses with them for over 3 hours and they were absolutely fine.

They did struggle with thicker branches but all shears would, they are not designed for that, hence why we have things like long handled secateurs, but for pruning and trimming these are absolutely fine.

These shears are just what I needed. I have a big tree at the back of the garden and now I can reach up and chop the higher branches off. These shears come with a plastic cover for the blades. Using them is easy, chop and go. Very good.

    Very good sharp hedge shears.
Arrived with nice green rubberised gardening gloves with cute cactus on it. I would say that they are approx. size M.
Shears looks of good quality and well made.
The blades are wavy in shape.
    Handles are comfortable to grip.
I was using them to cut hedges in the front garden but also to cut different sorts and sizes of bamboo and some old, overgrown flowers, long grass in my back garden.
It was easy to use them as they have adjustable blades.
Very good shears much better and sharper than my old ones and require less effort.
I’m very happy and would recommend them.
I’m my opinion the price is very reasonable as they should last long when used with care – I clean them after each use.

Very sharp and comfortable to grip shears

Ideal time to invest in a new pair of garden shears, so why wait? Get pruning!

These are the perfect pair of gardening shears that measure 57.3 x 21.2 x 5.4cm (21cm blades), weighing 1.3kg and made of solid carbon steel with a plastic / rubber handle. You also get a pair of gardening gloves that are size L, made of nylon with a sticky nitrale palm covering in a lovely bright lime green.

Using the shears is as easy as you want, as there is an adjustable control knob which can make the blades tighter or loose. The blades have a curly design which seems to cut through our raspberries, roses and honeysuckle with little effort.

Fully recommend these shears as they make light work of any pruning task, and you get a free pair of gloves!

    Anyone can be Alan Sheare

This set is really a tale of two halves, the gloves are rubbish, horrible to touch, stuck together dont feel nice on and very tight on my hands, so went in the bin, but the shears on the other hand were very good, hey feel strong and sturdy, the handles are nice and dont feel like they will fall off when using them, the wavey blade seems good but not sure it makes much of a difference to my straight blade set.
I cut some bushes back and some nettles with ease, no dramas and because of the nice long handle didnt scratch or sting myself.
Are they worth 21.99 i am not sure to be honest, maybe 14.99 so keep an eye out for a deal on them.

Shears are sharp and cut well

These garden shears have a curved edge to make cutting easier with a 20cm cutting length and 26cm handles and 57cm overall length and come with a pair of soft garden gloves medium adult size. They have an adjustable nut to loosen or tighten the movement so they are more comfortable to use. The handle is a hard rubber grip and as comfortable to hold as others I’ve tried.

When I received them I tested on a piece of paper and they cut like a pair of sharp scissors, after 30 minutes hedge trimming they have very small nicks in part of the blade but testing with paper again cut easily and straight so haven’t lost any sharpness or misaligned during use. I did however notice they prune softer fresh growth well, and struggle a little with the woody stems, especially if several branches being cut at the same time or if the woody branch is nearer the end of the shears – quite often I just needed to close them with more force to get through these branches. They did do a good job and much easier to get these out to do a little pruning than the electric hedge trimmers.

These shears came well packed and also came with gardening gloves.

The shears are solid and well-built although not too heavy. The gloves however are absolutely awful and feel extremely cheap and just stuck together.

The handles are very comfortable and have a good grip without it hurting

The blades are very sharp and ensure it gives clean cuts as long as they are done quite snappy otherwise they may not cut through twigs.

The shock absorbing bumper also helps reduce wrist and shoulder pain.

    Highly recommended.

The shears we currently own have been in use now for the better part of ten years, and they are more useful at folding paper than cutting shrubs. These shears looked high quality in the photos, and the addition of some new garden gloves was the selling point for me. In person, the quality of these is just as high as the pictures. They feel great, and are well constructed. They are not too heavy, but they carry enough weight to them to prevent them from feeling cheap. The blade comes with a clear plastic protective sheath, which is great, as the blades themselves are very sharp. We have a fern in our back garden which we like to keep trim, so these will be perfect. I tested these out on our lawn edges, and although that isn’t the intended use, I wanted to try them on something. They sliced through the blades of grass like a knife through butter. They are so sharp I could barely feel the grass being cut. These shears are perfect, and they are a nice upgrade from our old ones. The gloves are also of a high quality. Out of the box they were rather stuck together and I had to pry the rubber fingers apart, but after first use they are ready for wearing. The fabric feels thick and strong, and they should offer protection during any gardening exploits. If you are in need of a high quality pair of shears then look no further. 5*

    Trimmed to perfection.

These garden shears made light work of an overgrown shrub and bushes (please see the pictures). They are about 23.6 inches long and are robust and well-made with a wavy cutting blade which is sharp (but not too sharp) and cuts well. It cut through the thick branches with ease, and obviously had no trouble with the thinner and more flexible branches. We also used the shears to further cut down the branches to fit in the green waste bin — it made short work of this too. The handles are comfortable and non-slip, and overall it is a light and manoeuvrable gardening tool that’s easy to use. My brother could not wear the gloves supplied as they are too small, but they fit my hands well; I have small to average-sized hands for a woman. This is not a deal breaker though. The star of the show is the hedge shears and as such we would be happy to recommend.

The shear features waved edges toward the tip which increase pressure for easier cutting. But even that the shear doesnt cut any old branches that is of some thickness but really only good for young and not so thick branches. They are good for cutting grass on the edge of the garden.

The shears come with a plastic sleeve for the blades and a pair gloves. The gloves are quite stretchy that will fit small to medium size hands.

The shears are reasonably priced for their quality.

Not bad but not excellent eithe

Very easy to use. Able to cut through thick bits of bush. Love the colour! Gloves are great too, protect your hands but not too bulky to affect hand dexterity.
