Sediment Filter

The Sediment Filter works as the first barrier in the Reverse Osmosis System, removing solid particles like silt, rust and dirt from the water and reducing a significant percentage of contaminants in the water. It prevents the other filters from getting clogged with fine particles and reduces the risk of damages to the other components.

iSpring’s first stage Sediment Filter (FP15) features a 5 micron size, perfect for capturing most of the fine sediments in the municipal water and preventing issues from clogs and pressure loss with filters that have smaller micron sizes.

    We installed our RO back in 2014 and have been buying these 3 year replacement filters since then. I have to say, the entire system, ease of replacements, and customer service have been amazing for 8 years now! This year, the hard Las Vegas water ate through the cap on one of the housing units. I called iSpring and Nick, the rep, is replacing the entire head of the 5-stage unit for free (EVEN AFTER 8 years of use)! Customer service and doing the right thing by your clients are not dead!

    Technically speaking, these filters take our 300+ ppm nasty Vegas water down to below 20 ppm. Well worth the investment.

    I’m so happy with my reverse osmosis system. I just added the alkaline filter which dramatically changed the flavor of the water. It taste so much better. Product support with Nick at I-spring could not be any more helpful. I would highly highly recommend this product. Installation is somewhat tricky. Smaller fingers are needed to install the blue caps. Otherwise I’ve owned this system for at least eight years and just replace the filters when indicated.

I purchased I-spring 5 stages reverse osmoses system many years ago. Recently, I have been struggling with water leaking from filter housing. Changing O-ring multiple times with different specifications. Finally, I called I-spring directly. The customer support specialist Nick was very helpful. He identified the leaking was from the machine head due to the high city water pressure and provide very practical solutions to solve my problem. The professionalism and thoughtfulness remind me the service I experienced very decades ago and now is a rarity. I-spring you’ll have a customer for a long long time.     Used in UK Midlands Area where normal tap water reads between 360-440ppi depending on a season these filters last me 8 months as opposed to 6 months and I’m getting the water levels down to 4-10ppi. I’ve been running the iSpring system for 1.5 year now and am super happy with it.

    I’ve used ZeroWater filter before, but it was too expensive to run it. Yes it cleared everything down to 0, but would last only for 48l (yes I was measuring) which we consume in 6 days just from drinking tea alone. So it costs about 13/week to run.

    This product is estimated for me to last for 204 weeks which costs 130 – 150 depending if you catch it with a discount. That’s 0.63 per week to run this. Plus a little bit of wasted water.

    Investing into the iSpring system already returned my investment, not in yet, but in sanity of not having to refill my filter constantly.

    With these filters I’m making soup with clean water, washing vegetables, watering plants and it lasts me for months.

    I’ve seen the new filter that iSpring is introducing which is going to reduce PPI down to 0 in theory too. Plus it’s very beneficial to get the UV filters as well, because most water in UK comes from contaminated lakes ponds and rivers.

    While changing the filters I’ve broken a part which costs 13, but the support team kindly sent me a replacement part for free from the US. Later on I found out that the part wasn’t broken. I was just not experienced enough! I feel happy to have it now as a spare for many more years to come.

    All in all can’t recommend their products enough.

    I change my filters about every 4-5 months so this doesn’t work out to be a 3 year set for me, but it is still a great value and it works very very well.
    The taste of pure clean RO, just can’t be beat.

    Excellent product that is well worth the investment. Purchased in 2018 and can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t rather have this counter-top filter versus bottled. We live in an area that has good water out of the tap but this filter makes it taste even better.
    A bit of a job to install but a doable DIY project. Filters are easy to replace. Instructions and product labeling are easy to follow. Bought a two year filter replacement package and spread it out a bit longer than recommended to save money with no noticeable reduction in effectiveness.
    Recently had some issues that required replacement parts. Customer service was EXCELLENT! Prompt response after the initial email was within a day. Sean from customer support was easy to work with and helped to diagnose the problems. Needed parts were shipped very quickly.
    Highly recommend this product and the company. We’re back to unlimited water with 4 TDS out of the iSpring faucet!

    I purchased the 3 year supply which is a great value. The product seems as good as the original maybe even better. No problem installing and the only issue was the adaptor for the carbon filter was not in the box. No big deal as I contacted Sean and he graciously shipped out the missing part which should only take about 20 minutes to put install. Would definitely recommend this product for the service and value (saved $$$).

    I have two identical iSpring RO systems. One in each of our seasonal homes. I change filters in each place at the six month mark and according to recommended schedule. The process is very easy. Recently I discovered that I had damaged CTO filters so I couldn’t replace them. I called Customer Service and Sean took great care of me. He sent me new filters under warranty and I had them in a few days. Sean was professional, friendly and guided the transaction quickly to it’s resolution. Thanks, Sean.     When I received my shipment (2nd as I’ve had filter for over 2 years) everything seemed fine. When I went to replace the “post-carbon filter” or FT15, it seemed the adapter changed. I searched the box and found the piece of paper saying the adapter had changed, but no new adapters. I attempted to “retrofit” the new filter to the old adapter, but that didn’t work at all, just ruined the filter. With a simple call to iSpring they are sending me the adapters. Thanks to Don in customer Service.

    These guys are absolutely nothing short of amazing! Their service is the best ever. If you need to call them talk to Don. He is the best. I accidentally contaminated my membrane while trying to install it and he sent me another one for FREE!

    Hint: When you change filters make sure you flush the system before connecting it. That’s the mistake I made and ended up with a carbon contaminated membrane.

    Excellent! iSpring filters provide excellent tasting water. The filters are extremely easy to change. Plus, iSpring support is great! I had a set of connectors that leaked. I called iSpring support and spoke with a gentleman named, Nick. I asked Nick if I could purchase these connectors. Nick sent me the connectors at no cost plus he also replaced the filter at no additional charge. This was huge because I had a set of filters for three years and this one filter would have made me short. Many thanks goes out to Nick and iSpring for their excellent support and service.

    I originally installed this system in 2017, and have been fairly good about replacing the various filters about once a year or so, but generally past the recommended time frames. Ooops. In 2019 I wised up and bought a 3 years’ supply of replacement filters, both because it was cheaper and because I thought it might inspire me to replace the filters on schedule. Not so much—with the pandemic, I completely forgot in 2020. Would that we could actually forget 2020. Anyway, I finally decided to replace all of the filters, including the RO membrane (I mean, they recommend every 2-3 years, so 5 years made total sense in this little household ;-). I made quite the mess, but I managed to get everything installed! Well, almost everything—the box of replacement filters only included one set of quick-fit attachments for the 5th stage filter, which I’d already used back in 2019. Naturally, I didn’t discover this until *after* I’d disassembled the whole system. Ugh. I called up the folks at iSpring and Sean mailed out two sets of quick-fit attachments, one for each of the Stage 5 filters remaining in my box. Thanks, Sean! Awesome customer service. So now I have blissfully clean water and I can rest assured that if anything goes wrong, the folks at iSpring are there to help.

    Tip: Water will get everywhere, even if you’re super careful. Be sure to have plenty of towels on hand before you start.

    Ordered F22-75 kit, as usual excellent Amazon service. When installing the Fine Carbon filter the existing 3/8″ pipe would not fit into the 1/4″ fitting. Emailed Ispring who replied within 2 days, communicated with Brian who said he would send out replacement fittings. 3 days later Fed Ex arrived with the correct parts. Less than 10 min and the filter was installed. If not for this small issue it would be a 5* that Ispring and Brian deserve

    I’m using iSpring systems for around 10 years in 3 different locations. Was installing all systems by myself. THe only outsourced part was the drilling of a marble countertop. The replacement pack is very good value. Highly recommended.

    I have had the 6 stage system for about 2 years now. To start off with, the install was easy to do while following the instructions. The water taste great once you remove the first batch after replacing the filters. Pressure coming out is decent, though I will say I wish it was a little quicker. During the 2 year period, I have only had 2 issues. One is the diaphragm inside the take must have been faulty or come loose, allowing for pressure to drop and making the pump continuously run without stopping. Some may see this as a negative but I expect for items to occasionally have a bad apple. I called and spoke with Don and he was able to troubleshoot the issue quickly. Not only did he troubleshoot it he replaced the take and system immediately. Don was amazing on the phone and I could not have asked for better support. Once the new system arrived, everything worked smoothly. My second encounter was after this Texas storm. With boil water warning in place in our area for 2-3 days, it is recommended to replace filters. Unfortunately Amazon did not have the 6 stage available so I reached out to Ispring again. I had the fortune of dealing with Don again and once again he was amazing. He suggested I get the 5 stage and he would supply me with the 6th stage that was missing. They truly care about their customers. Their website has the filters priced a little more and they still have you go on Amazon to purchase it for a lower price. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in getting it. System works well, water taste great, and the customer service incredible. Thank you Ispring!!

    I’m on my second box of 3-year filters and these things do their job and have consistently given me great water without all of the byproducts. I bought a water dissolved solids tester to test my water and I’m consistently at 8-9 ppm (parts per million) with the local city water at 112 ppm. These lasted me a little over 4 years and have been great. Get the large box and forget about having to get new filters ordered all of the time.

    I have three iSpring systems. I ordered an additional RO element and replaced all filters in two systems and all but RO in third (it was not time in that one). These filters work flawlessly, but they only have the hardware to convert the connection type on my units to the new push button type. I called the company about this and they sent me the parts necessary to convert the other two . They were extremely helpful and their follow-up (emailing to make sure everything worked out) showed they really want to make sure their customers are taken care of. I own an internet based business and this is how we strive to take care of our customers.

    I purchased these filters for my EcoWater RO system. The filters are high quality and fit. The only issue I had was with the fittings on the FT-15 post carbon filter cartridge that came with 1/4in fittings vs the 3/8in fittings on my system. I contacted iSpring customer service and they promptly addressed my issue. Francis, my customer service rep was very understanding and helpful. She arranged for adapter fittings and a replacement cartridge which I damaged trying to “make it fit”. They arrived via the US Postal Service in good time. I am pleased with the high level of care I received from Francis and they earned a customer for life.

They have always helped us by looking at a photo of our installation job, sending us a new filter or even sending us a new faucet when it started dripping! I highly recommend this company and their reverse osmosis system. The most recent issue was the faucet dripping and a man named Don Huie in customer service sent us a new faucet. Thank you Don.

    I have had my RCC7 RO system for six years now. I have purchased the 3 year filter pack twice in order to have the filters available when I need them. This last time I purchased the filter pack, the installation documentation recommended that I change the O-ring gasket on the the membrane cartridge housing. I called iSpring customer service to request a replacement O-ring and talked to Don. He immediately reviewed my request and shipped me an entire membrane housing complete with O-ring and new fittings ,,,,,, free of charge !!! In the past, I have requested repair support from iSpring on my system and they have graciously shipped other complementary replacement parts to keep my RO system producing tasty water.

    I bought the 3-year kit 1.5 years ago. Had some extra post carbon filters so just tapped into the package for the post carbon last week. I installed my 5-stage a very long time ago. iSpring did a product design change since then. The “quick connector” fitting on the inlet is no longer screwed on, but glued/soldered (for lack of a better term) onto the filter. When I tried removing the fitting so I can use my existing 3-way connector, I actually broke the inlet of the filter. Emailed iSpring customer support on Saturday and received a call from Nick on Monday. He acknowledged the product change and sent me a new filter and the new 3-way connector that goes with the current design. The package arrived 5 days later. Good customer service!

    BTW, the change is actually welcomed. I was always wondering why they didn’t do the quick connector in the past and I had to use Teflon tape to secure the connector from leaking. Just wish they could give old customers a heads up so we were not caught by surprise at the time of installation.

    Absolutely love this system. I got rid of my plumber and started doing filter replacements myself. Why pay $120+ per visit from my plumber when I could get a 3 year supply for that price and do a full replacement in under 10 mins. The iSpring system has everything one would need. A functioning RO system and amazing customer service.

    After changing our filters at the 18 month mark, our RO water started tasting super salty and was undrinkable. I contacted the iSpring Customer Service line and told them of the issue we were facing. The rep stated he believed we might have a faulty membrane, and he sent us a new one which arrived within a week and solved the problem. We are back to having a great RO system. I was happy that at over a year past the purchase date, this company was able to easily diagnose the problem we faced and remedy it in a timely fashion. If I ever need another RO system, I would purchase another iSpring system.

    For those who have owned/installed the system, makes a world of difference with the taste of the water. This is a review about the filters of course: easy to replace and no problems with leaks. As a note, they change the connection style of the final stage carbon filter in 2019 I think – so if you have an earlier system, you’ll just need to use the included connectors. My box didn’t have enough connectors for the number of included filters (they cannot be reused) so I contact the company and they/Francis were awesome. Even during COVID-19, they were responsive by email and send out additional connectors. Happy to support a company like that!

    I ordered this a while ago but just opened it to change some filters and now. To my dismay the stage 5 filter does not directly fit the RCC7 RO System. This one comes with both ends accepting a tube directly, but the system needs them to have NPT on each end to take the fitting the kit comes with. It also doesn’t look like I can unscrew the installed ends to make it work!

    A little disappointed.

    The filters are easy to install, the price is right and the customer service is excellent. What else need be said?
