It does a fantastic job but one thing to note, however, is that when you close everything down after the cook and expect the fire to die out due to a lack of oxygen, it doesn't. I went out the next morning to replace my broken fire box and the pit temp was still around 150 degrees so I guess it doesn't make that great of a seal with the gaskets and air is allowed into the pit.

The JoeTisserie works on a Vision Grill B series, but the matching Tumbler does not. The JoeTisserie is very easy to put together and run. The materials are quality made. Very pleased so far!

So far, I love it. But it is definitely an expensive toy. Also, it seems that they had to compromise the fit on KJ Classic II to allow this to be “universal” for the Classic, Classic II and Large BGE. This Kamado Joe product actually seems to fit better on my neighbor’s BGE than my KJ, which is pretty disappointing. JoeTisserie’s diameter is just a tad too small to have a really nice seal between the JoeTisserie and KJ’s lid gaskets.
Bomb-diggity piece of equipment! This is the reason I sold my XLBGE (extra large big green egg)! I have had the BEST chicken in my life from using this. If you are considering a ceramic cooker you owe it to yourself to look at this combo. It is the BEST setup I have seen/used. Yes, spices and the way you treat the meat is important, but you have an upper hand with the versatility of the KJ and Joetisserie. You owe it to yourself!

Chicken, roast beef, hams, pork shoulder all come off the grill perfectly. Instalition was a snap and performed as stated in the advertising literature. It doesn’t get better than this. I will soon buy another for myself.

Im using this on my XL Big Green Egg. Works like a charm! Perfect fit. Only slight issue when you shut everything down, you need to take out the Jotisserie ring. Its not a air tight fit, very very very small air leakage. Keep it in and it takes a little longer to snuff everything out. Other than that, no issues so far.

I love it! its my favorite KJ accessory! (followed closely by the soapstone insert) Who doesn't love food roasted over a fire?! Easy to use and place in grill. The only downsides are the short cord and not being able to use it in the rain without covering the motor. 5/5 would recommend!

Works great with the XL BGE, nice fit and finish. Strong motor to rotate that big piece of meat! Definitely a game changer for your grilling experience.
Let me start by saying that this is an excellent rotisserie and I waited patiently for years for someone to design this. Used it for a 4 bone prime rib roast and some chickens and it was outstanding! Used both on the Large Big Green Egg and the Primo Kamado and it fits perfect on both cookers. The design is genius as you can cook with the hood both open or closed. The only reason i did not give is 5 stars is because there is no setting to adjust the speed of the rotisserie. It is a bit slow for my liking and i would speed it up. But I would purchase this again and again. There is nothing better to use on a Kamado style smoker if you want to rotisserie.

I bought a lot of junk to go with the Kamado which I rarely use anymore (grill grates, chicken stand, coal fan, etc.) I use Joe Tisserie at least weekly and love the even cooking and effortless operation that it offers. If you are Kamado Joe fan boy, this is a must have tool to add to your culinary arsenal.

Very well made rotisserie, no backlash in the gearing, good torque, steady rotation. I have used it with 9 pounds of sirloin tip roast, 3 cornish hens, and other poultry. Quiet in operation. Fits my Kamado Joe Classic perfectly as well it should. Nothing cheap about this unit.

I have owned this for a week, due to the weather and my work schedule, could only use it once before writing this review. The first thing I tried was a rotisserie chicken, or rather a JoeTisserie chicken. I added a bit of cherry wood smoke, it was awesome, actually, it was better than awesome! Hoping to use it again this weekend, –weather permitting! Maybe another chicken or perhaps some low and slow boneless pork butt?
A few things of note:
1) it does not come with an instruction manual, I don’t really think you need one?
2) no recipe book – I think you should at least get something?
3) the JoeTisserie motor does not appear to be waterproof – so no rainy day JoeTisserie :^(
4) your left side shelf gets in the way, it needs to be in the down position
5) my instant read thermometer needs to be more “instant,” but that is another product review
6) the JoeTisserie motor cord a 3-prong, 120V, and 5-foot in length. You will probably need an extension cord.
Lastly, the JoeTisserie insert does add air gaps and will change up your temperature controlling game. No big deal! Just something to be aware of the first time that you use a JoeTisserie.

Overall, this is one KJC accessory that should be on your must buy list!

Set up is a breeze and you just turn on the switch and you are spinning! Highly recommend this even though it's a little pricey, well worth it compared to other brands on other grills we have had over the years.

I have a BGE and while this works great on it, you can not use the place setter for indirect cooking as there just isn’t any clearance. That being said, I’m keeping my JoeTisserie!
Should fit all standard 18.5 inch kamado grills. Fit my primo all in one perfectly.

I have had this for abut 9 months and have used it a couple dozen times. Still works great, I have smoked wings in a rotisserie basket, 2 4 pound chickens at the same time, a 12 pound turkey, many different pork and beef roasts and even potatoes. Still Highly recommend.
