Thread locking system is a bit light on the thread. Used a little dab of blue tack to stop it undoing itself

I wanted lights for the garage that would come on automatically and save me switching on the main lights. These are perfect, the motion sensing works really well and the light is bright.
Used for a dark landing, really good when getting up in the middle of the night. A great little night light using batteries so no electricity required, just comes on when it detects movement. Ideal. Would recommend

This light is great for the front door, I can finally see my keys to unlock the door. It is bright enough to light up the area around the front door and detects as soon as my car approaches the front door or as I walk up the drive. I was worried that the weather may affect this as I don’t have anywhere to shelter it from the rain, but all good so far.
Had this produce stuck to our UPVC front door for the last 8 weeks so its seen a lot of rain!! its still working perfectly and still stuck fast! Perfect light to see the keyhole from the lower light and the upper light light is very useful.
For the price i think its great and it is still on its first set of batteries.
The motion detection works when you are about 10 to 12 feet away so perfect for coming up the path.

So many years we have struggled to find the key hole in the dark. These lights not only light down to the key hole but together with the up light provide a useful surround lighting as you approach the door. It lights for only 20 seconds plenty of time to get the door open.
There are many different Osram lights in this series – some are not as good.
Bought from Amazon, as just this example was sold out in all local stores when I wanted to purchase more. That tells it’s own story.

Love the little light the only downside is the batteries don’t last long.
Thought it seemed expensive but it certainly does the job! We have it at the top of our stairs and find it very helpful if one of us gets up at night. We haven’t stuck it on the wall it is balanced on the skirting board.
Very reassuring to have a night light at night. I come downstairs and it is shining brightly. I always, since I was very young, was scared of the dark! So, a huge thank you this beautiful range of night and security lights is superb.

Brilliant light. Motion sensor also has a light sensor hidden inside so it only triggers when it is dark enough. Motion detection range is good and, because the sensor sits at a slight angle, you can increase/decrease the detection a little be changing the orientation of the light. The light is very bright in some respects but by placing it at the correct height or orientation you can prevent it pointing in your face.
We have two at the moment and plan on getting more. Acts as a brilliant night light for the bathroom – bright enough to see clearly without hurting tired eyes or waking you up in the night. Currently use the second one near the kettle to brighten up that area without having to switch the main kitchen lights on. Will get at least 3 more – to go above light switches at top and bottom of stairs so that it lights up that space most of the time without needing mains lights, plus another to take away on holiday (just place across top of cistern on back of toilet or near doorway to be able to find light switch).
Comes with batteries that have yet to be changed (have had first one for about a year). Have not stuck down the lights using provided sticky pad as we also use the lights like a torch so can’t comment on that, hence 3 stars for adhesion.
The only downside we see is you cannot change the time the light comes on for, but this would be nit-picking.
We use ours indoors so it is ok to point the sensor upwards, I am not sure if this would affect it’s waterproof rating if mounted outside.
Efficient, nice looking. Used in en suite, sits on cistern. Very sensitive and really bright light. Lasts about 30-40 seconds without motion. Very sensitive and comes on with distant motion, in even in daytime when daylight is dim. No sure ‘re energy use as yet unproven.

Unused for a while, new batteries, keeps flashing back on even with no motion, seems to trigger itself on as soon as it goes off! Very irritating….
I bought two. One is stuck using the attached 3M pad which has held very well, the other using the enclosed screws as the surface wasn’t suitable for sticking. Come on when about 10-12 feet away, stay on for long enough, and then go off. Look good, create a good amount of light, without being obtrusive.
I bought this light to illuminate my dark hall upon entering the house during the months of winter. The unit looks very smart & was easy to screw into the plasterboard ceiling. The 120 degree field of detection instantly senses my entry & floods the dark hallway with 20 seconds of soft light. The light has been operational for several months & has not yet required new batteries. I am very happy with this purchase.

My wife was always complaining about her closet being too dark. I picked this up on a lightning deal for a good price. Very pleased with this little light so far. It’s bright for the size. Batteries haven’t died yet. The packet also comes with a few different mounts (sticky foam, magnet, hooked). I’d definitely buy another one for my own closet if it’s in lightning deals again.
I got one of these for the top of the stairs to stop the kids leaving the big light on, it is brighter than I thought for a battery operated and gives enough light to ensure safe walking at night. It was that good I bought another.
Brilliant little light. Comes on when approaching the front door and is light enough to see the keyhole. No more need to get phone out to see.

My father in law finds these lights really useful. Their lifespan has been 6-12 months on average though
I can say that the battery will drive this little lamp for a good long time (after many weeks it shows no sign of needing any new batteries). The light is rather ‘cool’ in temperature I would say but for the typical application I don’t feel that’s a concern. The unit looks neat and well made and the beauty is it’s portability. No longer ‘tied’ to a wall socket I think these are great. I have another Osram lamp that performs in a similar way but it is a round ball-shaped design, and they both deliver exactly what I would have expected. Great little lamp!
A really good light that gives just enough light in the hallway for those occasions when you need to get up during the night. I’ve marked it down 1 star only because the magnetic fixing is either stick on ( which has the potential to leave sticky marks ) or it needs screwing or nailing up. If the magnet was a little stronger, or the backing plate was able to accept a string for hanging, say to a picture hook, that would be ideal.
I’ve purchased 4 in the last 3-4 months (thinking of another). Product is easy to fit and is flexible. I’ve used them over 2 garage doors and the front door ( no more fumbling for keys!) and in the loft. Surprising range of beam for a small item.
I placed this over the door on my new porch and its just the right brightness to allow me to see the lock and only stays on for 20 seconds or so , so no battery wastage.
Too early to determine battery life or adhesion of support bracket but good so far!

Very easy to use and set up. I’ve had it placed to light up my front porch and door and gives off plenty of light. Sensor works well and stats lit for good amount of time.

I bought the over door light. This light can either be screwed into the wall using the enclosed screws or stuck to a hard surface using the enclosed 3M sticky tape. I actually stuck it to glass and it appears to have stuck really hard and doesn’t look like it will move anytime soon. It really is a down light and doesn’t shine a huge amount out. Which is what I wanted. The little dog sets it off, so I suspect cats will too. So if you have a lot of cats, it will go off all the time. It is a sensitive light. But if it doesn’t detect any movement again, it switches off again very quickly. Very happy with this light. I can’t comment on durability of both the light and batteries yet. But I will update when I know more on these
I’ve bought three of these to illuminate stair steps when somebody got close at night. I have it for more than two years, and they work flawlessly. No problems what so ever, just now and then the battery must be changed (i use rechargeable batteries, last less but cheaper on the long run).
– It has just only one setting to regulate the light duration (i keep mine at 10 second duration)
– The led lights have a slight tilt which is nice
– They have quite a long range
– They are very sturdy and have a nice design
I guess the price could be a little lower but still I’m quite happy with this purchase.
I used these lovely little lights to showcase jewellery. They worked an absolute treat. They were delivered very quickly and after 2 days of 10 hrs each day the batteries are still going strong.
This is a great little product. I bought it for the inside of a porch, so I could see where the door lock is. I didn’t want to bother with the cost or hassle of having and electrician wire in a ‘proper’ light. It provides far more illumination than I was expecting, given it’s compact size. It stays on for about 10 seconds after the last ‘movement’ in the area. It is quick and easy to install with the sticky backing and quite unobstrusive mounted at the top of the door frame.
I don’t know how long the batteries will last but it has been a cheap and perfect solution to providing lighting when I want to unlock my door.
This is a fantastic little light which is bright and versatile. Using to light up a work station and it is just the job.
I first bought this a few years ago from Homebase, who don’t seem to stock them anymore. I was so happy to find them on here. We have always used it for our porch, we’ve had it 3 years and never had to do anything to it, replace batteries etc. It gives off a perfect amount of light for opening the door. I have since purchased quite a few more and have them attached to the garage and side of house to light up the driveway.
A brilliant (literally) little night light activated by movement that lights up our landing perfectly for 10 seconds or 1 minute (you set the time required).
So easy to fix, no screws or nails required, just a strong adhesive pad and magnet arrangement. Even comes with its own AAA batteries so can be used straight away. Highly recommended.
Very easy to install, did not need to screw into door frame ( screws provided ) the unit came with double sided tap which was very strong and holds the unit very secure, gives off excellent light then shuts off after 10 seconds. Brilliant would recommend

Bought 1st March 2017, reviewed 4th April 2018. Good for illuminating my wardrobe because at the back, near Narnia, it’s pitch black. But note that the range of the brightest illumination (closest to it) isn’t that broad – don’t expect it to brightly light up an entire room, just part of it. I bought two separate single packs. Both have stayed firmly fixed using the adhesive. One is positioned horizontally, one is vertical. Sometimes I have to hold the vertical one so as to turn it on and off to stop the light itself sliding slightly in its holder (as pushing the button puts weight onto it, enough to move it slightly) but it’s not a problem.
I haven’t had to change the batteries so far. Yesterday I accidentally left one on all day (well, about 17 hours), and it’s still working fine today. For regular use over a year I reckon it’s been good value at under 9quid, especially with the flexible option of adhesive or screw mounting – getting into the wardrobe to screw it on would’ve been a pain.
Great for my front door but just one thing.. batteries don’t last long.

Excellent product – arrived quickly with batteries already inserted and screws in place with sticky strip already attached. So just take it out packaging and attach to wall. Works well. Easiest light I’ve ever bought!
I’m not one for bright lights first thing in the morning so bought this for use in the bathroom. Saves tuning on the main bathroom light and batteries last for ages. Can be stood up in several different configurations or stuck to the underside of a shelf or cupboard using the sticky pad supplied.

I did like the way the rear plate if screwed on get sealed by the rubber adhesive pad, nice touch that shows a bit of thought has gone into it.
At night when its dark and as i aproach the light automaicly turns on and am easily able to insert the key into the keyhole and open the door. I installed it on the top door frame. I love it, highly reccomended. it works great, good quality and has an estetic look to it.
A bit smaller than expected but bright and effective. Sensor isn’t overly sensitive so the battery seems to last ages. The only slight criticism is the magnetic attachment. It’s slightly fiddly and unless placed perfectly can slide off. Looks well made and much sleeker than cheaper options.
Used under a shelf in my wardrobe. Comes with different fixings however I found the sticky pad supplied was not sticky enough – it fell down. Easily solved – just put a Sticky Fixers pad on it, which I already had. Looks nice and works well
The light is really excellent but don’t rely on the sticky surface. Mine fell off after only a few days!
Bought one to put above the front door. Took all of 1 minute to install. It lights up the whole front door and we can actually see our keys and door lock now. Im so impressed with this littel light I bought another one for the side of the house above the bins.
I have these lights outside over my patio door and so far they’re still working great! They provide just enough light when going out to the jack door and bins, couldn’t ask for anymore. The sticky pad at the back is rubbish, but I used my own and they’re still up. No complaints so fa

Really bright. Works well and very easy to install. Had bought 2cheaper ones made by companies and suppliers, not heard of. They didn’t work. With Osram, you know its going to work and will be well made.
Bought this for use as a porch light and it is excellent. Really good bright light and it detects motion from quite a distance. Recommended.
Saw these in a hotel and had to get some for ourselves, and elderly mother-in-law to facilitate night time visits to the loo. Very effective and adjustable duration – 10s for us & 60s for her.

Needed a night light for ensuite bathroom – this is perfect – had it for nearly a year now and have yet to replace the batteries. Option of turning off permanently or changing time for on cycle is good. Easy to fit using adhesive magnetic disc – very tidy.

The only bad thing I can find is that it is too sensitive. It keeps turning on even when is still quite bright which is pure waste of batteries (unfortunately, no way to control it)
Easy to fit light that I have placed in a dark corner cupboard. The “switch” took me a bit to get used to because it just needs a very light touch to the two nodules that are close enough to be able to touch with one finger.
The light can be easily removed to fit new batteries and it’s a good idea to check which way it slides off, before sticking it in position.
Waited months for electrician to mend the light in the gardeners’ loo. This gives an instant beam and goes out 10 seconds from leaving.
This is the perfect solution. A solar option wouldn’t have worked due to where the light would be placed and they never seem bright enough.
The movement function and battery power is the best combination and the light stays on long enough to enter the combination and provides the reliable function required.
Well built and waterproof, certainly a good option.
Does what it says on the tin. Turns out it works better than a 35 motion solar Duracell outdoor light, which kept on being activated during the day and basically stopped working after dark!
This LED sorted out the problem; I stuck it to the doorframe (a little metal circle is what sticks and than the whole light is held with a magnet) and it does what it should do- lights the door lock when I come home. Very pleased.
Oh, it’s been raining heavily and freezing recently- it still goes strong.
4 stars because I don’t know how long keeps batteries and how they operate at minus 20 by Celsius. Plastic dome made perfect. I happy bought 2 of them.

I get up 2 or 3 times a night and I bought these so that I wouldn’t need to keep a mains light on all night. I have to go down a step outside my bedroom and then another at the end of a corridor so I have positioned 3 strategically en route. They are fantastic, lighting my way there and back. Thirty seconds illumination time is just about right. 5

Bright and properly sensitive to movement. It’s used nightly inside the house so my elderly parents don’t need to search for the light switch. Batteries lasted about three months. This would be ideal for outside use.
This Doorled is bright enough to light up the front door and the area around it, which is exactly what I needed. The sensor works well without being over-sensitive and the included batteries seem to be lasting well. The downside? The base plate on mine was mis-moulded, so the main unit didn’t clip securely into it. Not difficult for me to fix, and probably just a one-off, but a bit disappointing from a major brand. Overall happy though and far better than the cheaper brand it replaces.
I purchased this after our street lighting was altered to LED and no longer lit up my front doorway. This product is absolutely spot on for illuminating the door lock so I can see to get the key in the lock. It stays on for just the right amount of time, gives out more than enough light for the job and saved me from having to install hard wired lighting into my entrance porch.
Had 6 of these for a long time now. Not bright enough to read by but light up the bits of my kitchen under the cupboards they were bought for.
With rechargable batteries they are cheap to run and the batteries only get charge every couple of months.
Don’t expect spotlights. If you want bright lighting, then pay out for proper wired lanps. These have been great for my purpose.

Amazing value for a light that is suitable for outdoor use. We have it propped up on a windowsill for when we let the dog into the garden in the dark so we don’t tread on snails outside the back door.
We are a little lazy, because it wouldn’t take much to fix it to the wall; just a metal disc with one screw hole to be fixed and then the unit itself sticks onto that magnetically.
The bar of led’s can be tipped down to shine lower.
This fantastic little light went above my front door, was dubious because of other solar lights that have failed me in the past. But this little fella is more and bright enough and easily lasted all night even on cloudy days.
This has a good degree of sensitivity, without being overly sensitive and thus annoying. It sits on the door frame and is unobtrusive when not in use. Unfortunately there isn’t an off switch, so if you don’t want it working at any time the only option is to remove the batteries.
The light is bright enough to illuminate our porch and means we no longer fumble to put keys in the lock in the dark. It is supplied with batteries which have a long lifespan and will be simple to replace when they do run down.
Excellent light, we use ours for when we arrive home in the dark, as if we late and the street lighting off we can see to get in the house.
Really easy to use on metal surfaces as the magnet held really well on the cooker hood – hasn’t come off at all. However, the sticky pads don’t hold for long – but they come with screws as well and the sticky pads are good for holding the base in place whilst you put the screws in. Possibly you could use a stronger adhesive if you didn’t want to use screws.
The light tube comes out of the base and can be arranged in various positions to suit your needs or removed when you need to change the batteries.
They’ve been in daily use for a couple of weeks now, in a steamy kitchen, no sign of any problems or needing new batteries yet.
Would definitely buy again.
