good product but why sell it as a stick on one when the sticky pads are terrible, so bad they fell off within an hour.

We use this in the bathroom at night – it saves putting a bright light on for a quick call of nature at 3am. It would also work brilliantly at a dark front door while you gets your keys out, etc. The only downside is the light switches off after 10 or 60 seconds (depending on your settings) even when there is moment so you need to reactivate it with a quick hand wave. Price on Amazon is around half that of the high street.

A really good simple solution, ideal for a small porch. Batteries last very well considering the intensity of the LED and the motion sensor is very precise. However the unit died after 2 years, after the motion sensor became increasingly erratic.

Works well in a back porch with no mains light. This LED security light gives a very bright and clear light. I do like the fact that it only stays on for 15 secs after movement therefore saving battery energy.

Bought two of these one for over the garage door and one for outside the french windows. Even better than I expected as they give just the right amount of light for safe stepping, rather than floodlighting. Have been asked by neighbours as to where I got them as they would like them too.
    Easy to fix.

Solved ! the problem of my dark porch. Gives a good light, comes on as you approach, which is helpful. small enough to fix easily in tight spaces, looks good and Led lights should give a long life. Recommended.

Perfect little light, I get in late at night or early hours, I have a main porch light but don’t want to keep that on for hours, put this outside but under cover so not exposed directly to the elements. When I walk around the corner the sensor picks me up and it switches on, enough light for me to feel bit of comfort and so I can see putting the key in the lock on the door, switches off after around thirty seconds or less. Recommend and far better than the push on lights that are a bit cheaper.

Great for my understairs cupboard which doesn’t have a permanent light. Would be better if you could choose how long the light stays on for as sometimes goes out when I’m still rummaging around looking for something!

Really impressed with this little bit of kit. I had tried solar lights but they never seemed to work well.

This is mounted over our front door and as soon as you open it from the inside or approach from outside it comes on.

My only tiny complaint is that it could do with staying on a little longer (it stays on for 10 seconds)… although then battery life would suffer. As soon as it picks up movement again it will come back on anyway.

Only had it for a few weeks but battery is holding up well so far.

Battery still going since purchase, maybe a little over sensitive though with a good set of batteries, used to come on when a car drove past, doesn’t seem to now as guess it’s not got the juice to reach that far (road about 7m away), shame you can’t adjust sensitivity or angle of pi

  18. NamThornhill says:

Does exactly what it says and for 7 it’s a bargain. Has a day/night sensor so only comes on when dark, lasts 10 seconds unless detects more movement, just enough to find keyhole on dark night. Fixes with super strong 3m tape or a couple of screws and ideal if you can’t get electric to the door you need light. No idea how long batteries will last but at 10 seconds a night should last plenty of time so cost won’t be prohibitive

Had 2 of those lights delivered today and fitted both in less than 2 minutes ( I am a women)! I do not understand why the person in the previous review thought they are fiddly. Actually very sturdy, nice and bright and are perfect for the job I need. I use mine for the side gate and along the path in the garden. Will purchase more! An interesting and original design of apparently good build quality but IMHO with a few issues. I dislike that the mounting plate is either stuck or screwed to the wall or door surface. I prefer either magnetic or keyhole slot mounting for easy removal. The “lid” has to be sprung over the catch. I remain to be convinced that in cold conditions the plastic “lid” won’t become brittle or be brittalised by sunlight .

Another issue or characteristic is that the plane of the light angles inwards. I suspect to shed water or possibly to light inside the open door (except the persons head obstructs that) but the effect is to unnecessarily light the wall or door (or the person’s head). There are better ways of lighting the lock and better ways of lighting the porch porch or entrance hall. The light itself is really bright, the product description says “cool-white but I think its closer to warm or neutral white. A pleasant light. I like 4xAA which should deliver reasonable battery life. Activates for 10s, I’d prefer 20s, however during activation it seamlessly re-triggers and if the user is plunged into darkness it re-activates quickly.

I’m going to convert it to a magnetically attached shed roof light. Ceiling mounted it will provide excellent light. 5 stars as that except I have to review it as a door light. Yet to try it on rechargeable cells.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWanted a sensor light to down light our front door area and this sounded like it’d do the job. Arrived quickly and is a very neat, small unit and being powered by 4 x AA batteries (included) means no wiring and not reliant on solar power either. Fitted easily to the frame above our front door and lights up from around 6m away which means it comes on when I park my car outside the house and makes walking to the door and locating the key in the lock a lot easier. Although fitted to a period property, the size and design of the unit means it’s very unobtrusive and hardly noticeable on the black door frame. Build quality is also very good. Gives out a nice crisp bright white light for 10 seconds. The light is angled as well to give a good bit of light into the hallway on opening the front door to give you a chance to locate internal light. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is a very good product to enable one to see during the night, as it is
a sensor and comes on only when you are in its range. You have the choice to
have different time settings. The only downside to this product is that it falls off the
magnet you attach it too quite frequently, hence the four stars and not five.
Overall, though, I would recommend it.

Also if you get up in the night need some light but don’t want to put on a main light, you just pull this out of its holder and take it with you.

Purchased for outdoor porch, solid and nice design, blended nicely with white area it was placed. Used the adhesive magnetic plate to fit it which was quick, easy and has hasn’t shifted since. Positioning didn’t really matter thanks to the tilt in the LEDs being adjustable, the light spread is fairly good too. The sensor always picked up when someone walked under it, and did really well at distinguishing when it was dark enough for the night to be activated too.
On the 10 second setting the batteries lasted a year, not bad as its activated daily and it is incredibly bright. The magnetic base made it easy to take down and swap the batteries, gave me a chance to check for moisture etc too but it was all clear!

Been using it for over 2 years now. Best thing I’ve invested for the house. 3 AAA batteries and it’s good to last over 8 months of regular on and off for 20s. Served as our night light when leaving the bed room, without having to turn on the hallway light to get to the family bathroom.

The metal attached to the wall and magnetism attaches the light to the ring. Makes changing the batteries a doddle.

The provided batteries run out pretty quickly on the 60s mode (unsure if mode or battery quality to blame right now). We use these to light some very dark stairs, the sensor makes it perfect, changing the setting down tot he 10s one makes it last a decent length of time.

The light is quite bright bluish. We also used one to light an ensuite bathroom as the main light is super powerful, using the magnetic sticky pad that came with it meant mounting it anywhere was very easy. Ceiling or wall, just leave the little sticky pad to adhere for a while before using it.

Mounting it high in the bathroom meant the light was less bright, perfect for saving your night vision.

Really useful, illuminates the way when you trip the motion sensor. Have put them in bathrooms and bedrooms to light the way out. I have fitted them for both sets of aged parents. 10s and 60 second settings, batteries last pretty well too. The lights can be angled down to illuminate the floor, magnetic self adhesive fixing, so really easy to put up.

It was a hard choice between four and five stars. The product is easy to install and works flawless (the motion sensor is highly sensitive). I gave it one star less as the magnets (metal plate is attached to the wall which then holds the lamp in place (magnets)) are not quite strong enough. Though it does hold the lamp, it just barely does so and if you happen to brush the night light it immediately falls. Other than that it is a great product and I am happy I didn’t go for a cheaper version.

We used these lights in the salon of our boat and are perfect for giving the extra light we were looking for with the added advantage of turning them to be used as up lighters and then all the other angles depending on the light we require. The double sided sticky pad was a slight challenge but if you follow the directions and make sure you stick it to the pad first before taking on the task of separating the second backing then it all works just fine. Love them

Have had a couple of them for well over a year now and, placed “strategically”, they are really useful to light-up the way to wherever you want to go without the need to use the mains lights. The detection range is good enough for where I use them (a 5 meter long dark corridor and the corner of a double bedroom). Battery life is quite good but will of course depend on how often the light is activated. As I use exclusively rechargeable batteries, I’m not that concerned about it but I got into the habit of putting in a “fresh” set of “AmazonBasics AAA” roughly every 6~8 weeks in the corridor unit which gets switched on regularly both during night and daytime without waiting for it to go dim. As others have mentioned, the magnetic fitting isn’t all that strong and I had to make sure both units were resting on the top of the door’s architrave to prevent them from slipping down so, minus 1 star for that.

Bought these to showcase items in a craft fair booth. Works great for this. Don’t expect huge amount of light, there are after all only four led’s, but it is versatile. You can use it horizontally or vertically. And it works well as a night light too. The batteries are a bit fiddly to get into until you figure out how it works. But I’m quite happy with these even though they are a bit pricey, they do work well for what I need.

Very good – serves its purpose as night light; good sensor. It only comes with a sticky area at the back though, meaning that once you’ve stuck it to your wall, you can’t move it again to adjust position – the stickiness would be destroyed. Therefore I bought some velcro sticky pads so that I can get it on and off more easily. It would be much better if designed with a hanging loop or little stand. It gives out a very bright light and having the choice of 10 or 60 seconds for the lights to stay on is good. I would recommend this product.

Works great. I bought it for boot of my car as there was no light at all.
Magnets are strong enough to hold on the metal body, but back finish had no friction. Added few small patches of bluetack to add more friction and it hasn’t moved from the spot since I’ve attached it.
Sensor is rather sensitive – in a good way. LEDs will trun on for select-able 10 or 20 seconds as soon as I open the boot.
I will order another one as it looks/works at night just fantastic.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA helpful, illuminating purchase, based on several years of faithful service from the original (which is still working).

We now have two of these beauties in the porch; the original lights up the keyhole on the inner door. it worked reliably and needed batteries about once a year (three AAA size, buy the best you can); the light clips magnetically to a small round metal plate which you stick on the ceiling, then adjust the direction of the light. The new item, similarly, now illuminates the keyhole on the inside of the outer door. They make like easy in the dark when you have your hands full and don’t want to grope about to stick the key into the lock.

This is simple and effective. the three lights swivel so, without moving the unit, you can shine the light over your shoulder.

Our only advice: when you take the paper off the sticky pad to expose the glue which will affix the small metal plate to the ceiling (or it could be the wall). PUSH HARD to ensure that the glue has affixed; by NOT pushing quite hard enough, we were now able to also confirm that the new light unit survived a drop of seven feet onto the porch mat! – and then still worked fine!.

Simple, useful, reliable – how my wife described me as well!

Great product! The only issue about the design of the product is the switch. Currently, the switch is inside the light next to the batteries, so you have to take it out from the wall and open it to switch it on and off. This is not practical if you want a light to be functional only at night.

  55. APFPhilipqf says:

I bought this and placed it on my bathroom mirror for the additional directional lighting when needed and also I can unplug it to carry around. The base can be either sticked onto a surface or mounted using the screw comes with it. For me, the double sided sticker comes with it has done a great job to stick the base on my mirror. The double sided sticker is made by 3M and very very thin. I didn’t even believe it is a double sided sticker in the beginning!
The LED stick itself is very well designed and you can feel the quality of the product they used. It feels very well made and high quality. The light is reasonably bright too and after about 2 feet the light will “focus” to a spot rather than 4 individual spots. The colour is cool white (I think it’s around 6000k by my estimate).
I would definitely recommend this and get more once I figured out where else to put it!

With a new addition to the family this light is a god send, especially as the landing in our old house doesn’t have any electrical sockets. It comes on when it detects movement and can stay on for either 10 or 60 seconds. Batteries last ages. There are two mounting options, in the housing of the light is a powerful magnet. There is also a metal disk with an adhesive backing and a screw hole.

You can either stick it to a skirting board, stair or bannister or screw the disk in place using the screw included with the light. Then you can pick up the light if required.

The LED’s are quite bright, a guest has described it as like a prison searchlight.

I love these little lights. I have one at the top of the stairs to prevent accidental tumbles, one in the bedroom. and one to light the way to the bathroom. No need to switch on glaring lights in the middle of the night when you come into the room late, or get up for any reason.

I put a little blu tack like the bill of a cap over the top of the sensor so it wouldn’t notice every time I tossed or turned in bed, so be aware of the movement around where you mount it! Great light though, highly recommend.

The battery life is mediocre, but changing them out is easy.

Yes,, my only gripe is i wish the light emitted from the unit was a softer yellow colour instead of that horrid white light so common with these types of motion sensors but never mind… let’s move onto the job in hand. The exterior look and feels of quality so not pound shop cheap looking or feel at all (also i wish it came in a range of colours such as black or grey). The manufacturers are very clever because to attach onto your chosen surface, you need to simply stick the round disk at the back onto its own magnetic section and it holds the weight of itself. Now that is genius! You can pivot the light up and down so direct it to where you like. personally, i’ve positioned it at the top of the stairs but directed the light towards the floor as you don’t want the bright light to blind you at night or erase that lovely dream you had but the other one i bought, I’ve placed it up the stairs at its default or straight on angle. I really do like this light as it does not switch itself on in the daytime but only when it gets towards dusk. Bizzarely enough, even if it is a bit darker in the daytime than normal, it still does not switch itself on (OK, a few times it did but it’s like it knows when it’s day and when it’s creeping towards dusk – OK, that’s not true but it acts as thought it does!). The light switches on when you are about 2 metres away from it although i think the descriptions claims something else. It comes with its own batteries and only time will tell when they run low. There is no on or off switches but inside the battery cover, you can select whether you prefer to have the light on for 10 seconds or for 60 seconds until it turns itself off…. of course, it’ll ignite again once it senses more movement. But if only it was a warmer light, think what i would save on leccie bills from the corridor alone! Before I go, quick delivery too but prime doesn’t always seem to be prime delivery anymore!

A great little compact light unit that uses economy batteries, gives LED technology, & virtually sticks anywhere with a little compact magnetic base, do not use the self adhesive pad, this will simply fall off, use the metal washer/disc & a screw to the site intended, the lamp unit will magnetise itself on the disc & stay put,
the unit is great for stairs & landings, & could be useful for the elderly.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI spent a long time looking for the perfect nightlight for our bathroom. What I was looking for was a simple, efficient nightlight which had a light sensor to stop it coming on during the day, and had a variable timer, so that it would actually illuminate the bathroom for more than 10 seconds at a time when you need to use the toilet during the night and don’t want to turn on the main light.

This does everything I need and has been a fantastic purchase. The sensor range if perfect for our needs, it isn’t too sensitive so it won’t activate if you’re passing the bathroom but not entering it, but once in the bathroom it’s sensitive enough to pick up the slightest movement.

The amount of light it emits when the batteries are fully charged is just right, not so bright enough as to force your eyes to adjust too quickly, but allowing plenty of light to illuminate the room and let you see what you’re doing. The adjustable angle of the light beam is a very handy feature, especially if you have the light placed on a flat horizontal surface.

Most importantly for me, you can change the settings for the length of the timer to either 10 seconds (useful if you just want to use it in hallways as you pass) or 60 seconds which is ideal when you want the light to stay on slightly longer, like when using the bathroom during the night. There are all sorts of reasons why you don’t want a light to suddenly go out and plunge you into total darkness in that scenario!

Overall I’ve been really happy with this purchase. Battery life seems good, although my boys tend to re-appropriate the light as a ‘rescue torch’ and so I don’t have a reliable indication of how long batteries would last under ‘normal use’ – but I’ve no reason to suspect that it’s anything less than good.

You can mount the device to a surface using supplied double-sided sticky foam, or just screws – but it’s worth noting that the back of the device is slightly magnetic as well.

Lastly the overall build quality and finish is fantastic. Often these sort of devices can end up looking cheap and plasticky, but this looks very well designed and would blend nicely into any modern home.

Overall a great product from a reliable manufacturer.

Although this unit isn’t adjustable for lux levels to trigger the auto on function it can be set for 10 seconds or 60 seconds. It is very bright, so much so, I have covered two of the LED’s as one is enough for my purposes (It sweeps light across at floor level for trips to the loo – comes on as soon as my feet touch the carpet).

Batteries last about a year – this is my second purchase as I needed one for another house. Can be attached to different surfaces in different ways.

Having placed my new printer on a shelf under my desk, I needed a light to load paper into it. Two of these lights have solved the problem. They only come on when needed and stay on for just the right time.

The only problem I foresee is when the batteries need changing and I have to remove them. At the moment they are held by the sticky pads which may need replacing.

UPDATE: The sticky pads are actually metal to which the corresponding magnetic pads on the lights stick. Even though they are mounted underneath a shelf, the lights stay in place. When the batteries need changing, it will be a simple task to remove the lights and replace them. Brilliant idea Osram!

I bought this for my small porchway. We have a wide surround that fits round the outside porch door (2 sides + roof – no second door), so the outside light does not reach into this space, consequently I could not see who was at the door if I came through the main porch with the light on; but now I can. It is a brilliant little light that sits high up above the door with the light section tilted downwards towards the floor – the sensor picks up immediately anyone who comes to the door – it even lights up when I open the porch door from the inside to go outside to the dustbin (when it’s dark).
The wall we wanted to fix it to is plastic tunged and grooved . So we fix it securely, we removed the metal insert that is magentically held in the back of the light on the outside and screwed it to the wall (sticky side to the wall) using the 2 small holes provided in the plate – then the light just magnetically holds itself up there with no problem, even in a really strong wind that whips round this area.

Fast delivery, excellent product. Needed this to light up steps we have on our landing, just the job, the light is bright enough to see without putting main light on in the middle of the night. Great buy, wished I had bought this years ago, would highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usershis little gizmo is extremely versatile. it has a variety of fixings in the pack; just used the stick-on method myself as it is very light and needed only to be attached to the underside of a kitchen cupboard with a painted surface. people have commented that it is not very bright? try it in your under stairs cupboard or anywhere really dark and you will be pleasantly surprised. at this price you could have several; so easy to use.

I have 3 of these, 2 in my hall which lights up whenever anyone wants to use the bathroom at night, without having to put the hall light on. The 3rd is in the bathroom which comes on, without having to put the bathroom light on for the short time anyone needs to use it at night. I set jt at shortest time, but if it is needed longer, then just wave to it! Good sufficient bright light. Ideal during power failure. I will be buying more.

Brought this when the electricity in the communal hallway was lost and am more than happy with it.
The light is actually very bright for such a small unit & the sensor works really well. You can adjust how long the light stays on once being activated so battery usage can be very low.
I didn’t use the sticky strips or screws but blue tack has held this on the wall for over 3 months as it’s so light!

Compared with other brands, this one has been working well for the past few weeks… The only problem is that there are only three lights, which if what is needed, then OK…

I bought this for outside use (need a bit of light when I go to the rubbish bins after dark). Looks as though it will be just what I need. It certainly has the feel of being well made. It isn’t ideal for fixing to a brick wall as it has a magnetic fixing so I had to make a wooden backplate. The unit could be improved by having an alternative screw fixing but overall an excellent choice.

We have this in the utility cupboard (Washinbg machine etc) ideal for illumining the whole room.. mine is stuck directly to the ceiling and the magnets sticker seems very strong.. the magnet has a hole as so that you can screw it on to a wall if you wish..

The light is adjustable and you can set the light for 10 and 60 seconds lighting.

we bought two of these. one is in the bathroom and one in the hallway. we initially bought it for my son for midnight runs to the toilet but we have found that it is even useful for us adults. my only problem with it is the fact that the sticky bit you stick to the wall is at the back of the battery compartment. therefore if you stick it to tge wall, what do you fo when you need to change the battery? So at present its just lying in a hard surface until we find a way to hang it.

I have an elderly parent who stumbles around in the dark because they do not wish to disturb anyone, so I purchased 2 lights one for the bathroom, the other for the bedroom to illuminate a pathway to make it easier. They work brilliantly, are easy to use and place and do not disturb anyone else. If anyone works shifts, or just comes home in the early hours these will be great for placing in those places ie stairs etc to illuminate an area without having to switch on any lights and wake people up.

This really is a brilliant product….excuse the pun! Delivery was amazing, from hitting the ”BUY” button to delivery was an incredible 48 hours. As for the product. It really is a cracking little product. The light is bright….very bright. Fitting couldn’t be any easier, anyone having problems isn’t reading the fitting instructions properly. It even comes with the screw that you secure the plate that holds it to the very strong magnet that is part of the unit. I can give this product 5 stars and recommend it without hesitation.

This is my 3rd attempt at purchasing one of these lights. The first ”status” I had two followed by a couple of ”Hyundai” all failed in various ways after a few weeks. The ”Osram branded one is working fine for now and produces a good light, long may it continue

After looking at a number of different lights I settled on this one because of a small footprint. I needed it to illuminate the path to the light switch so the children could easily make their way to the bathroom. The osram nightlux does it’s job excellently. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product. I have nothing negative to say about the light.

Replaces my one which did same but came on in day as well. So before I had to turn it to face the wall each morning to save batteries.
This is very bright, bonus being provided with batteries, unlike many in many ways, this is brilliant.
Extra advantage: the beam can be angled up or down to suit your directional requirement. I will definitely buy another. I’m going to use next one as a second motion night light in the same bathroom – For under the vanity mirror cabinet. that way I can get to use toilet in night and get to see where sink is to wash hands afterwards as well. Both with motion and night sensing. These do not come on in daytime, except if very dull day or placed dully. The one under vanity mirror cabinet I can angle just right has good range and adjustable time is just right, for the time one needs. Not just a quick short seconds. But you can set it like that if you wish.
One thing it didn’t tell you was range or beam angle. I looked it up from Osram: 120 degrees angle, I can say it is good in both those departments, I guess the range distance is 5 or 6 feet, it did not tell you, perhaps they should get that added.
Also it sticks on with sticky pad. I tend to add my own , even stronger, or use stick on heavy duty velcrose for alot of things nowadays. In the old days it was blue tack, tha’ts gone out of use now. So many new inventions since I was young!.

Had been looking around for ages for a light to put in my hallway for going from the bedroom to the toilet during the night without having to light up the home each time. Also it is good for when I get in of a dark night and the sensor is very good, obviously sensitive but you need that without having to wave your hand or foot over it to come on. Will purchase a few more in the future. The best one I have come across in this area.

The ability to direct the light up down, and to adjust the time the light stays on for once activated, sets this device above much of the competition. There is a bit of a price premium to be paid for this added functionality. As is the case with most such battery operated LED lights, the brightness isn’t great, but it’s still ideal when placed, for example, in a bathroom to facilitate a night-time visit!

only comes on when dark. 10s or 60s timer. bright directional leds
    good motion sensor.
    splash proof.
    very happy with these.
had one outside on the porch area for 6 months and original batteries going strong

(bought something similar from a large scandanavian household store – they drained the battery in 3-4/52 even while not on i.e the motion sensor must need feeding by some sort of voltage.
anyhow these osram do not have the same problem)

We attached this to the railing on the stairs a few steps from the bottom. When some approaches in the dark, from top or bottom, the lights come on to light the way. They don’t come on if it is already light on the staircase, but will come on if it is gloomy. The setting we chose (stay on for 10 seconds) works perfectly. It was very easy to install simply by sticking a metal disk to the stair post. The light attaches magnetically and is easily removed.

Have had this battery sensor light for only a few days but already am impressed with the quality and brightness. I have put it out side and added a wood top cover to keep off the heavy rain and snow, although it states it is suitable for outside I don’t want to take any chances. I have also put some mastic around the unit to make sure it does not fall off ( wish I could screw it rather than attach it with the supplied magnet). The sensor works really well, I have it set to stay on for 10 seconds but obviously it stays on if you are remaining in that area for some time longer. It lights up my alley and I thought before I ordered that I might need two but one is more than enough. Don’t know as yet the battery life but they are easy to change. Would definitely recommend and will be buying another for the end of the garden.

Update – after nearly 4 weeks constant use in battering rain the light is still performing perfectly, batteries still good, and it does get used a lot due to heavy people traffic, and it has held up well with the weather. Downside is that they have gone up in price 🙁

2nd update – Had this light for 7 months now and still on the original batteries, excellent. The price too is now back to the original so even better. I have now decided to order some for my house in Greece.

This is a great little night light, I bought it to use in our hallway as when my elderly mother comes to stay she needs it when getting up to visit the bathroom during the night.
You can either have it on a sensor or leave it on permanently. I left it on permanently and it was enough light to light the way to the bathroom but not too bright to keep everyone awake. It sticks to the wall with a magnet and you can easily take the light on and off the wall to adjust the settings.
I am very impressed with it and it was a very good price. I have just purchased some other lights from the same brand to put in my garage, it will save me spending a fortune on an electrician putting lights in our garage.

I have plug-in night lights but wanted a couple of additional night lights for safety reasons as my husband has dementia and is quite often up in the night. This particular model of LED light works well and is very easy to screw on to the skirting board. The batteries seem to be lasting well. The design is neat and attractive.

Didn’t expect much from a little light – needed as our kitchen light is in an awkward place and at night it is total darkness(we live in a village). Was very surprised with this little light – it came with batteries (yes) – it came with self-adhesive backing plate to stick to wall- magnets in back of light hold it to the wall – and it even has a little mounting screw hidden in the back so once positioned on the wall you can screw the metal plate in place if needed. The screw was even sharp enough to screw straight into a partition wall without a pilot hole.
And on top of all that – as if it couldn’t get any better – the light actually swivels through 120 degrees up and down AND is sensitive to daylight so will no come on in the day.
I may be easily pleased – but this light has been well made with attention to detail and actual thought in the design process.
I will be getting another one for the bathroom and maybe a couple for the landing so we can turn the landing light off at night.

This is the best budget sensor light available on Amazon. Motion & light sensor is very efficient. Light sensor works in room light as well. There is a on/off switch as well & also we can preset ON time 10 sec/ 60 sec/ always on.
Only Con which I feel that light is very low.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese lights are easy to use and easy to install. Osram make some of the best lighting products around and these are no different. I use them to light up in the inside of a pair large dark cupboards and they work perfectly for this purpose. The lights are easy to turn on and off and the level of illumination is surprisingly good considering they only have 4 LEDs.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersPurchased this to light the main stairs without needing to find a switch when on midnight fridge raiding. Item seems well built, easy to mount using just the sticky pad. PIR works well and the LEDs can be rotated to put light where you want it (within reason). The unit sheds a surprising amount of light for three baby LEDs – without being enough light to flood the bedroom and distrub others.

I have a similar Philips unit without the daylight sensor – much cheaper but neither as bright or flexible (and is activated in the day so wastes battery) – so happy spending the extra money.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI bought four of these to go in a display cabinet to light up my antiques collection. They are a great device and very hassle free. Simply remove from the box, pull the tab out the side, and peel of the self adhesive pads, and its ready to go. They do a good job for what I wanted, saved me wiring mains lights in, and really look the part.
