I was worried this light would be too bright judging by the video reviews on here, however there are three brightness settings and I keep mine on the lowest in my bedroom. A no brainer product. I took it out of my package and plugged it in, and didn’t need to do anything further. Most people could use this in their hallway, bathroom and otherwise. No end to what you could use it for. So pleased with the item and the price! Shipped so quickly I couldn’t be happier. Perfect little night-light, suitable for children’s rooms too.
Only had it for a week but it’s great, very light and does the job perfect with different settings to suit all. I have mine in the hall so if my daughter wakes she can see where she’s going
I have seen some comments suggesting this was a motion detector – it is not! When placing in the ‘auto’ mode it detects light levels and turns on at night, but off during the day. Works really well so we have bought multiple others round the house.

To me this seems fine detecting people moving past or doors swinging towards the unit, but the motion range of the unit was detecting approx 3 feet from the sides, and in my flat not detecting movement 7-8 feet away from the bathroom.

Bought this for my granddaughter’s bedroom. It has two modes – on/off or automatic (in response to light). The automatic mode works really well so it doesn’t stay on unnecessarily. The light is bright enough to see by but not too bright to wake her up. An excellent buy.

My daughter started wanting the lights left on outside of the room at nighttime so that it wasn’t dark. Obviously this isn’t ideal so I needed a suitable solution that could be in her room, not too bright and not cost a fortune. This has been ideal, we have it as a warm white and it stays in the plug socket all day. As soon as we open the curtains in the morning the sensor knows it is light and switches off. A great purchase.

Just enough light. The automatic sensor means it is only on when we need it. Not too bright, but it’s just enough to stop us falling down the stairs.
Bought this for my son as he’s never been able to sleep in complete darkness, however leaving a lamp on all night for him was proving to be very expensive! The fact that this has a sensor to turn off when light outside is brilliant, and means you’re not leaving a light on for hours after it’s already become bright outside. LED too which is more efficient than certain other bulbs/nightlights on the market.
Ideal night light for the landing, enough brightness to go to the toilet without putting the main light on. Very low energy consumption.
Even the low setting is quite bright so if you want a very low level light might be too much, but very useful for me near some steps in a hallway at night.
It would have been OK apart from the brightness not has bright has I thought it would be.
I’m not sure how the motion detector works- I have it in an area behind my baby’s cot so it stays on all the time if it is plugged in. It’s been very useful

I was surprised that this light is so small, but was impressed when I put it to use. The light is bright eoungh with different modes, I have kept it on max brightness and the motion sensor is very good.

This was bought on behalf of someone else but on first inspection it worked fine, there is a Dawn to dusk sensor that can be turned off. There is also adjustment for light strength. Will most likely be purchasing another at some point. Item arrived on time.
Use this as night time hallway light but have to switch off manually as it’s still too dark in morning for sensor to switch off itself. I tried sensor in bedroom and light automatically cut out as bedroom much brighter. Very happy with purchase.
This nightlight was added to an invalid’s room to add a little reassuring glow in the depths of night. I’ve left it on auto and chosen to switch it to the lowest setting of brightness and it works well.

I used for having a Newborn so I could see her without a bright light on so I mainly use the dull option.
Downside was only being able to purchase 1 as I wanted 2 so will have to make another purchase.
I have toddler who is afraid of night. I plug this light in the hallway it is absolutely working good. So I bought another for his bedroom too. About brightness I can change three different level. I usually put lower but still ok for me. Sincerly I don’t know how is energy efficiency but I don’t see much difference with my bill so I guess it is ok..
Works well in my daughters room and provides enough light to see and move around at night. Sensor cuts in at a reasonable light level so it doesn’t sound time lit during the day. 3 adjustable light settings but my only slight issue is I wish there was a lower setting. It felt quite bright even on the lowest but I’ll just move it further from the bed!
Bought for an elderly relative with impaired vision. We opt to leave it on at night to provide low illumination in the hallway rather than use the motion detection option as we need to have light on all the time.
I’m sure this has helped avoid tripping and falling situations that used to happen before we ordered this, so am well pleased with it. It is LED so low power consumption. It also has adjustable brightness levels so can be set as preferred.
We’ve been using this for over a year in constant evening use, and it works brilliantly. You can either switch it on manually at the socket or leave it on Auto mode where it will light up when it gets dark enough automatically.
Highly recommended if you have children or elderly relatives or are visually impaired and need some low level light to see the way to the bathroom for example.
I read up on several night lights before I decided to purchase this one. I wanted one where the brightness was adjustable. The settings mean I can have it emitting just a nice warm, dull, glow on the landing, enough for our young grandchildren to see to go to the bathroom but not disturb their sleeping with their door ajar. Very pleased with this light, plugged in a socket on the landing it is unobtrusive, in fact I have left it in, switched off, until their next visit.
I’d been feeling a bit scared at night ( I’m 57) since my pet/guard dog passed away I’d been using candles on night stand ( costing money to keep buying new ones) so I done research and this one came up good( low on electric use ) am I happy or what!! Absolutely brilliant,so easy to useI’ve got it on the middle setting when I settle down to sleep but have it on high when I’m chilling

Was looking at under counter lights for this part of my kitchen, but then spotted this and thought, that will do, and it does!
I don’t use the motion sensor element of it, just switch it on when I need extra light and off again when done, (do note: use the switch on the light, not the mains, to turn off because if you turn off at the mains, it loses the settings you’ve set). I have it on the brightest setting.
Does the job I need it for, and a lot cheaper than what I was originally looking for.
Absolutely fantastic, wish we had found it sooner! It’s the perfect level of brightness for what we need for our toddlers night light (it has 3 brightness settings, but the highest setting is much better than expected)
I love that it also has the option to switch off automatically when the room gets light enough in the morning so it saves energy. I bought one to try it out and then promptly bought another two for around the house. Quick dispatch and so simple to use.
Doesn’t have motion detection, that’s my fault for not reading it properly, but it’s so energy efficient we put it on at its lowest of the 3 brightness modes when we go to bed & it’s bright enough to be able to manoever to the bathroom safely during the night. For the price I definitely would recommend it, just remains to be seen as to how long it lasts.
Anyway, for reasons I am unable to fathom my old fitting gave up the ghost, and having trawled through the options I decided this Babyliya lamp looked the gest bet…
I’m really pleased because it looks neat; the light is evenly diffused; the creamy colour suits me perfectly; the light level can be adjusted to one of three levels (FWIW I use mine on the minimum setting on the landing to illuminate my path from bedroom to bathroom); it turns cleanly on and off depending on the ambient light level (but can be locked ‘on’ if desired); and it’s a decent price to boot. I may well buy another for use on holiday!
Perfect little light for my hallway. I ordered 1 just to see how well it worked, I’m now going to order some for upstairs. The light is strong enough to prevent you turning on the big light during the night or early morning. These would also be perfect in kids bedrooms
This works really well for illuminating the landing at night. It has three brightness settings so you can choose how bright you want it to be, and the auto on function works well (although perhaps could be slightly less sensitive – it comes on a bit early for my liking). We have ours plugged in just outside the bathroom, and medium brightness is perfect for us to see well enough to not trip over the cat, but to still be dark enough that you don’t wake up too much or get disturbed by light coming into the bedroom.
It’s a UK plug and the device is slim enough to not block switches or sockets on a double plug wall outlet. I think this kind of ‘always on’ light is far more effective than a motion sensor one. Good value for the price and highly recommended.
I actually bought this for my senior dog who started to lose his sight. He would get stressed at night and wouldn’t settle as he struggled to recognise where he was. This light gives just the right amount of light to not keep you awake (although it does have 3 seperate levels of brightness) and helped settle my dog straight away. Since he’s passed I’ve changed the setting to sensor and it’s not in the hallway near the bathroom. Instead of having to switch a bright light on this light provides just enough light to let you see your way without waking you up!
The light is sleek and unobtrusive. The slider switch has 3 positions: On, Off and Auto and is on the bottom of the light so that it can’t be seen. As I never need to change the setting this is not a significant drawback. I have the light on the landing and it’s set to Auto. It comes on when darkness falls and goes off at daybreak. It is not designed to react to movement. A button switches it through 3 brightness settings.
one thing is so good is three different light settings and that you can may it work independently re the light its exposed to or not coming on jyst in the dark ,or over ride it manually and put it on regardless of how dark it is ect .

Thought this was meant to be a motion sensor light which it is not, my bad!!
There is switch to determine whether it is meant to be off, on or auto which goes off when daylight arrives.
The light does have 3 brightness settings as well which appears to work well although not very bright at the highest setting.
For the price it does the job of illuminating my kitchen slightly and saves me having to switch on the main lights.
Fairly priced too.
