    It’s easy to use and no need to get up off your bed to turn off the light you can just do it over your phone or Alexa. I recommend anyone to buy it without hesitation.

    Value for money. Good white bright light.
    We had tp kasa which were but expensive and are not as bright as these are. They are easy to install and works very well with Google home /assistant.

    Number of colour options are available and bulbs are very responsive to Google assistant commands. The ones which we had from tp link sometimes feel confused or refuse to work on voice command.

    This is amazing. I’d hadn’t had a bulb for so long because it was always a dull lantern. Not any moreIt did take me a 10 minutes to work out I had to get the actual app for the bulb and then it went through Alexa. Although I think it’s easier to work from the app the moment. I love it and I’ve just ordered another one for a present. Thank you

    As smart bulbs go this is really like any other in that it works well and unlike the last one I bought has not blown up in 2 weeks. It could be a tiny bit brighter to be honest but it works as I said so no complaints

    Great value smart light 💡
    I wanted to have more control over lighting my home for work and for relaxing, these have surpassed my expectations. They were a little tricky to set up originally with BT broadband and I had to separate the 2.4 and 5 channels, but when we recently switched to Sky I didn’t have to do this. Worth the set up pain though. I now have them in every room and hooked up to our Alexa.

    Patience required with installatio
    The bulb works well, bright, dimable with good range of colours. You will need to be tech savvy, or even a bit geeky to install it, my partner didn’t have a clue. Setting it up with router (if required) would be beyond a lot of people. It was not easy like my smart plug. Installation instructions are not the clearest, with some patience and trial and error required. Alexa voice integration works well but doesn’t provide the colour functionality of the recommended App. Having persevered and got it all working I went on to buy a further 4 bulbs of the same make.

    Took a while to get connected but once done the bulb is great. Connected the bulb to an Amazon Alexa Dot. Daughter super happy. Good range of colours and brightness. Excellent value for money.

    Great product but install can be tricky
    The product overall is great and it allows for every colour you can think of. I’ve paired mine with my google home and the Lexpro LampUX app both of which are easy to set up and use. It’s really handy to be able to turn your lights on and off from in bed without having to get up.

    But the initial set up can take a while such as getting the wifi to connect or for the devices to sync. Another problem I have is if someone turns the light on or off by the switch and not by asking google the devices disconnect which is frustrating and is time-consuming to reconnect.

    Great value Alexa/google home smart bulb
    Really happy with this purchase, when on it’s white to warm light it is plenty bright. The colour modes of this light aren’t as bright but are great for mood lighting. I don’t know any bulb even the premium ones that are that bright on colour modes.
    I like the fact there’s no hub with this so you’re not having extra things to mess with.
    Make sure your WiFi is good and you have signal where you place your bulbs as this has been my only issue so far. Also if for whatever reason you have a power outage in the night and the power returns all your smart bulbs will turn back on. But this isn’t an issue for most buyers. Integrates well with Alexa and google and if you have other brand smart lights they can all be controlled from either ones interface or voice.

    I’ve been using this smart bulb for over a year now via my Amazon Alexa and the Smart Life app, and I’m really happy with its performance! At a tiny fraction of the cost of Philips Hue, this LE smart bulb offers pretty much all of the same functionality. Brightness is more than adequate, and the range of white temperatures and colours is fantastic. Alexa integration is flawless, and the Smart Life app is great for fine control and creating presets known as ‘scenes’ and automations. Very occasionally the bulb becomes unresponsive and need to be switched off and on at the wall, and so for this I’ve had to knock off a star. Overall though, I think for the price it’s unbelievable! For anyone wanting to give the smart home game a try without having to splash out, I highly recommend this!

    This lightbulb was SO easy to install and set up. A guide is in the box and it’s so easy to follow. Changes all sort of colours AND my Alexa is connected to it and turns off and on the light and changes colours when asked to. AMAZING!

    Purchased for my 9 year old granddaughter who has a strong accent from Newcastle upon Tyne so she has some fun trying to get Alexa to understand her, just the concept of asking a device to switch the lights on is brilliant! You change the colour of your lighting and dim the lights all by your voice. Just brilliant!

    Great light, very bright, install was easy and so was pairing with Alexa, lots of options for the light on the app, can ask Alexa simple commands like turn light on, off, change colour, dim to 50% etc. however you can’t ask Alexa to set it to set to scenes like sweep through all the colors like a party light you have to go into the app and choose it manually
    Apart from that its a good addition to my student accommodation.

    So far so good! Works with Homebridge too.
    I received the package at 2030 and I had it paired and working by 2045!
    It is a multifunction light bulb. It supports all colours and brightnesses.
    I paired it with the Tuya application very easily.

    (For those of you that use the Homebridge software, the Tuya integration presents the bulb, so you can get the bulb displayed in Homekit as well.)

    Brilliant value, nice and bright with accurate colours too
    I love these lights. So much so I went back and replaced my Hue GU10’s with LE rgbw GU10’s. Bit tricky to set up at first, I found it easier using the “AP mode” I have all my routines set with Alexa and it works great. I have had one or two not respond but a quick on off sorted and it most likely just down to WiFi across the house.

    Brillant lights, so many colours to choose from. Make sure you download the app for the lights first then connect it to your alexa or google. The app will tell you what to do, took me 5mins to set up. We have out whole house kitted out now.

    Not bad for the price
    This was my first smartbulb, and it’s been great so far! I got it at a good price and was easy to start using with Google (not just Alexa) pretty much right away. The only downside I think is the “scenes” are kinds… weird. Not fun or soothing at all, so wouldn’t recommend that. But the colour options are great, as is the dimming capability. Not to mention much more energy efficient. Would recommend!

    For me… the EASIEST thing to install and I’m not hugely tech-minded! This is the first LED ‘smart’ item I’ve bought since Alexa… if I can set it up – so can you! No problems so far, the lighting is beautiful and so much fun to have. Annoyed I didn’t get one earlier!

    Smart Light at a Smart Price
    Love it, a bit of a pain to set up and I would like more options regarding the preset scenes but apart from that it’s great.

    The alexa integration is limited to turn on/off and doesn’t seen to support the range of customisation that the bulb can actually do

    Works really well and massively configurable.
    The configurability options and scenes are incredible. Routuines can be set in the native app or Alexa.
    Still works with Google Assistant but haven’t played with that as much.
    I dropped the Easy to install to a 4 because for the first bulb step one told me to reset it and leave it in an on state and go to the app and then the app told me to turn it on making me think it had to blink faster.
    Once you know just to skip through the app, make it blink and hit finish it’s all good.

    I have routines to dim bulbs at night, turn them off after so many minutes if I forget and have bulb groups for turrning multiple on or off at the same time.

    I just wish they made smart plugs as well so I didn’t have to use 2 seperate apps to control stuff.

    Easy to install if you know what your doing
    If your with BT, you have both 2.4 and 5… In order to turn off 5khz go to the BT website and search for ‘ How to open the Hub Manager’ they will then give you a number to copy and paste into the url box and the instructions are pretty straight forward from there. You will find the admin password on the back of the router next to the WiFi password. Make sure you reset your light bulb before installing on the smart life app.

    If this has helped please give a thumbs up..

    Light works well, lots of settings, still playing around with it ON Alex’s, so will update in due time.

    Works Well with SmartLife App and Alexa
    Using the SmartLife App (as others have), I had this bulb up and running faster than it took me to put the lamp shade back. Rescanned for devices in Alexa (already linked to my SmartLife) and the bulb was there ready to use.

    Only problems I found were getting the instructions correct for Alexa, such as as set the lamp to cool white and not cold white. Also when using the PC Alexa app, asking to turn the brightness down just dimmed my monitor. A desktop widget would be nice.

    UPDATE:
    12 months later and the bulb now makes an arching noise and flickers when switched on. Once its warmed up it appears to be fine and stops flickering, but I fear for its longevity now.

    Works with Smart Life app
    Whilst it’s advertised as an older product (newer one available) it offers variable whiteness as well as brightness and colours (newer one says just soft white and colours). Other reviews say the colours aren’t very bight themselves and I confirm this feels the same, but as I wasn’t expecting really bright colours and it’s used in a 8’x10′ room it’s perfect. The white colour is really bright so perfectly suitable. Setup was easy using the recommended app or Smart Life (the recommended app is just a ‘white label’ version of Smart Life anyway). And if you’re security paranoid you can connect this to your 2.4 guest wifi network so keeping it separate from your home wifi, and it will still be remote controlled by the app or alexa etc. Overall a great bulb for me so far, no issues and way cheaper than brand names.

    Works exactly as described. Would receive 5-star rating if installation was easier, but took me about 15-20 mins to get it working. Once it was working, the light is great, much brighter than expected for the price. Love the different colour modes. Works well with voice commands.

    Easy to install and works as intended, but brightness a little low on anything other than white.
    I am unsure if it’s just my room size or something like that, but the ‘daylight white’ setting works great, lights up the whole room at nights perfectly. Only con is that if I want any other colours at night it is at least 60-80% darker than the ‘daylight white’ option while both were at 100% brightness.

    Practical lightbulb that works great with Alexa and has a long run life, but I would suggest a brighter bulb if you intend to light the room in anything that isn’t a natural bulb colour.

    Excellent, so good I bought a second one, and may well buy a couple of others.

    The installation is not for the faint-hearted.
    – The instructions that came with the product didn’t work.
    – The instructions that came from the vendor didn’t work.

    I found a video on youtube that did work (the only real difference was using the Smart Life App).

    However, I also had to temporarily disable the 5Ghz wireless option on my wifi-router to force the phone onto 2.4Ghz before trying installing the bulb. The phone insisted on connecting to 5Ghz the bulb could only connect to 2.4Ghz. I did this on attempt number four to install the first bulb.

    I also found it was essential to write down the following information before trying to install.

    Wifi SSID and Password.
    User name and password for the Smart-Life Account
    – You need to register an account as part of the install so work out what the password is going to be before you start.

    When I did all of that it took less that 5 minutes to install.
    Note: For the first install I used a Samsung galaxy for the 2nd installation we used an iPhone.

    For information you link to the Bulb to the smart-life service using the app. The give the Alexa App access to the Smart-Life Account.

    A good product at a great price! I like the Philips Hues but this bulb is a more cost effective solution for what I need it for.

    I bought this bulb for the ceiling light in my toddlers room. He has black out blinds and still in a cot so when he wakes up I can turn the light on in his room from my room so he can play with his teddies with some light in the room before I need to spring out of bed!

    It arrived on time, well packaged and with clear instructions. App was easy to download and set up on my iPhone. Set up had a hitch – we had to rename our internet for the app to connect but the instructions provided via the app on how to do this was straightforward.

    I only have the one bulb so can’t comment on multiples and we control it via an app manually and not using a home assistant like Alexa. Turns out that it’s a good way to teach our son colours with the colour picker on the app to change the bulb colour. Would recommend to other parents!

    Lots of flexibility for a smart bulb - good value
    The issues other reviewers reported about setting up the light were a little off-putting but my experience was that by following the instructions, the bulb was operational within minutes via the app. Connecting to both Alexa and Google were accomplished very soon after. I suspect that there might be some difficulties if your router gives different names to the 2.4 and 5 Ghz networks as the bulb only works on 2.4 GHz. So long as your network names for both frequencies are merged (as most ISP provided routers are by default) then hopefully it will not be an issue.

    Work very well. brightness is good for a low cost bulb. If you have a TCP smart plug you must remember to register with different numbers/email address or Amazon echo dot will get confused with the TCP smart plug as I think the app is from the same developer for Iphone. Once past that issue it linked very easy to Amazon Echo dot.

    Easy to set up and functional. Does exactly what it’s intended to do.

    No issues so far, around 9 quid per bulb but considering it’s around 6 quid for a normal bulb it’s cheap enough.

    Tip: if using with Alexa set up alexa t ok play a sound once she completes the light command. By default she says OK every time and it can get annoying.

    Happy with this product!

    Brilliant product which I use with my echo dot. Took me a while to get it too connect but after a few attempts it did. Might be my WiFi to blame rather than the product. Cheaper alternative to Philips Hue.

    Works with virgin 3 Wi-Fi hubs
    I found this bulb easy to install and use. I have two for security as they come on and off in the evening when I’m not at home. Initially it was on a virgin 2 Wifi hub and I had no trouble connecting the bulbs. When I switched to a virgin 3 Wi-Fi hub initially the bulb would not connect as It could not find the 2.4 band. However I resolved this by activating The guest network and adding the bulbs to that. I don’t know why this worked but actually it’s probably not a bad idea to do this as Smart bulbs might be Hackable and so if they’re on a separate Wi-Fi network that makes them safer. Just to reiterate, despite what is said in some of the other reviews, the virgin 3 Wi-Fi hub Is dual band, it has both 5G and 2.4G. So these bulbs should work.

    I bought it as a novelty item to provide disco lights for my grandchildren but I use it all the time as soft light when watching television or reading light.     Great set of lights cheaper than Phillips and has most of the same features.
    I use the smart life app to control the lights it’s a good app and will control the lights well.timers even set them to come on at dusk/sunset when connected to a weather app you need to play around with the app.
    To get the best from the lights.
    Easy to set up one or two issues when the power was off but not a problem to re connect again.
    I purchased a few more lights they are that good.

    I followed the instructions and could not make it work. I found some online instructions and could not make it work.
    I tried many things and could not make it work. Then eventually I tried something else that was not written down anywhere, and I managed to make it work. Now it’s working it seems fine, was just a mission to get there.

    I wasn’t expecting this to work as well as it does. Had to download an app and then connect it to the Alexa App to use with Alexa but it’s great. Bulb can change colours, dim or brighten, and be either warm or white light. Really pleased.

    A bit hard to set up. Had to try 6 or 7 times and then use its own hotspot before it worked but once connected to WiFi the remainder was easy on the Alex app was easy to set up to. Need to download the bulbs own app and once set up on that app you can enable the routine on the Alexa app and then you can use your voice, the ales app or the bulb own app to operate it. I would say for 14 it’s as good as the philips one at 60. Just a little harder to set up. Plenty of colours and a good mix of colours is available on the bulb app. Alexa can do on, off and standard colours by voice.

    Read the instructions they're Enlightening!
    If you can read instructions and understand the need to get the LampUX app and Alexa Skill and put them together the light works fantastically well. Not sure any light bulb smart or not is worth over 10 but for the first time novelty this worked well. Easy install up and running in 5-10 minutes.

    Took the product out the box and it works pretty much straight away. The app is easy to use and the colours are great.

    getting it to work with Alexa was some what tricky but now it’s connected, it works perfectly.

    Definitely recommend

    Connect your Phone and Bulb to a 2.4G Wifi access point. Smart Things can now control your Bulb.
    Install the Smart things Skill on Aelxa , sync your account in account sharing .
    Search for new Light Bulb in Alexa, connect and your done.

    I love it , brightens my room so much more than my old one as well as it uses less energy than my old one.
    By far, the best bulb I have ever purchased. Definitely buying more for the rest of the house.

    Setting it up was easy, but setting Alexa was a bit confusing at first but I got there eventually.
    Great product though.

    Be careful if you have bt home hub, as these bulbs will only operate on the 2.4ghz frequency.
    Purchased these to join the smart revolution. Initial issues with connecting to network.we have the bt home hub and I had to contact bt to change a setting in the router. Once this had been done managed to set the bulbs up relatively easy. Colours don’t seem to very bright, but the white settings are plenty bright enough. Would definitely buy these again, especially at the offer price.

    We put these in our living room and dining room. It was a little finicky to set up but when they were set up they seem to work well. I like the fact the white is a really bright white which really lights up the room with a ‘clean’ rather than a yellow glow.

    Easy to set up & use
    The LE smart bulb is the easiest to set up of all the smart bulbs. Love the LE brand. Easy to set up and use.
    It is bright when white, could be brighter in the various colours. But is still very good. App is easy and straight forward.

    This is a pretty cool device once setup. I did try via smart life app as well, but settled for the “LE WiFi smart app” as per instructions.

    If your installing over a 5ghz WiFi you will hit problems – a workaround is to temporarily disable 5ghz (providing you have dual 2.4 & 5ghz on your WiFi) and then register the device. Alexa integration is painless – add the skill, search for device and voila! Voice commands on dimming/colour work well.

    overall impressed and happy with it, not sure if my fault or something else but with it being on all the time at the wall, once it’s been turned off by either phone or google home, it can now and then lightly flicker with light.. not very often and not noticeable but it does do it. other than that really good, good app also to muck about with the colours etc.

    Good bulb, pain setting up.
    Bulb is bright and has vibrant colours and a plethora of lighting options, however; setting it up is very finicky.

    Very easy to set up once you find the app. Linked to Alexa quickly. Easier than hunting for the switch in the dark.
    Will buy some more to set as a group to being on multiple lights.

    Amazing Smart Bulb.
    There are different brand Smart Bulb, but this one is good value for the money you pay. If your broadband has got 2 bands better to split the brand, 2.5ghz and 5ghz as truly it supports only 2.5ghz. Connected within no time, even shared device with my wife so that we both can operate according to the brightness we like. Seems Christmas lighting sorted. White light is brilliant. Night light is poor but can turn white lite to bright yellow or dim light by reducing saturation. All my family love this bulb.

    Up and running in a few mins
    Had read some reviews about it being hard to setup.
    I found it easy enough to get going and integration with alexa was just enabling the skill on the alexa app.
    The LE Wi-Fi app for android is very easy to use.
    The white light is a tad on the blue side thou but very acceptable

    One of the bayonet pins that stick out at the side was broken off – no piece in the box so must have been packaged like that. Seller replaced immediately, item works as described and is useful if you can’t get up and down to turn off lights.

    I was not looking forward to setting this up after reading the reviews, but I was relieved that it wasn’t as hard as people make out. No doubt it depends on your experience with setting up gadgets to wifi, but it really wasn’t so bad. I didn’t use the app mentioned in the instructions. I already use Smart Life, so I decided to try and set it up on there. It was pretty straight forward.. just click to add a new device and search for device. Mine found the bulb without issue, but if you have a problem, just enter the device manually and choose ‘lighting’ .

    Don’t be put off by the struggles people have reported, this is a nice bulb, works well and so far all is good.

    Update (17/03/19): Since messing with the controls in more depth, I’ve noticed that once you start to adjust the colour on the colour wheel, some of the colours are not very accurate. You can get the colour you want, but it’s a little off the actual colour on the colour wheel. For example, if I tell Alexa I want yellow, it looks more green, so I open the app and the adjuster is on yellow. If I slide the slider just past the yellow, it changes to yellow. Slide just past orange to get orange & so on.
    I hope I made that clear. If you want further explanation, please feel free to ask in comments.

    I brought this for my hallway so that I could have a light on when I come home in the evenings. Works well and the scheduling option means you can just set it to come on and off when you need it to. Bit of a faff to set it up as it only connects to a certain frequency of Wi-Fi. But it does give you another option on how to set it up. Could have lived without the rapid flashing it does as part of setting it up, not good if you’re sensitive to flashing lights.

    I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness of the bulb in white mode. Colours are much dimmer but perfectly acceptable.

    I had issues because in my family home I have 2 kids who have google home mini’s and wanted smart lights. These worked perfectly straight away using the app and googles home app. However, they wouldn’t work using the mini’s. After a lot of phaffing (due to lack of instructions on the minis), I got both of the mini’s under my gmail account and in my own ‘google home’. I then used the share option to share my home devices with the kids. I did the same with the lights, I got both of their lights set up creating a Smart Life app account (I used this rather than the CE Wifi App). I then created accounts for both my kids on smart life and again shared my Smart Life home with them. After that the voice commands worked perfectly for both kids and both rooms.
