This is certainly the best mat I have ever used. I like the fact that it doesn’t slip on wooden floors and it gives a really good stable base for my dynamic yoga
I’ve had one of these for years and years and its used all the time and its still in excellent condition, no rips, tears or marks. This new one was for my husband. Excellent value for money as they last so long.
Needed a new mat and debated this one for quite a while due to the cost but I’m really pleased I went for it. Comfortable, looks great, alignment system really useful. And my yogi friends have all commented on it!
A pleasure to use. Great support, combined with excellent stability. The guide lines are also a nice feature, which I have already begun using after my first few sessions. Quality seems good, and will hopefully prove as durable as it seems.

Had no idea but when I got mine out in class, turned out 90% if my class had these mats! I know why. It’s perfect! Thin, light but still slaps down flat and heavily on the floor without curling up. Super comfy and grippy ( non slip) despite being thin and smooth.

Great yoga mat. Nice and grippy. I have been doing yoga for about a year and having used cheaper foam type mats before, although a little pricier, the lifeform is a considerable step change in quality and performance. The alignment lines also make a real difference. Managed to buy during Amazon sale days with 20% off normal price it was a no brainer.

It’s a very strong and comfortable mat. However there is a strong plastic smell to it. I’ve washed it twice since buying it to get rid of it.

I love the size and that it has markings on the help with alignment and positioning. The warrior like grip leaves a little to be desired and I find I have better grip on a cheap one I’ve had since 2004.
Am really pleased with my purchase was not a cheap option but I certainly notice the difference from my earlier mat. It is a little heavy but carrying is easy with the bag and shoulder strap that comes with is. It makes an awful lot of difference when kneeling on my knees and also the mat does not ruck up when you move it stays in place. Am really pleased glad I decided to go with it will not be swapping it for a cheaper alternative!
Absolutely fantastic. No slippage whatsoever. Comfortable, supportive and fabulous to work with. Worth every penny. I’ve tried a wide range of cheaper mats which all claim to be “non slip” (but aren’t) and all have some drawback or another. This one looks to be very well made and will withstand an energetic daily practice.
The Liforme Yoga Mat is brilliant. I’ve had mine for only 5 days but from first use could feel the difference. The mat delivers 100% on it’s product pitch – warrior-like grip, size, comfort, support. It is performance enhancing, giving me greater confidence to go deeper in my practice.

The best yoga mat I have owned. It really doesn’t slip and neither do my hands.
I love this yoga mat because it really is non-slip and the alignment markings are particularly helpful for standing postures. I also like the yoga mat bag that it comes with because the strap sits comfortably on the shoulder and doesn’t slip off. I can definitely recommend this mat.

The mat is very well made.
The alighnment marks really do help even though I have been practicing yoga for 20 yrs.
But the most noticeable feature is the superior grip. Poses like warrior…triange and down dog are so much better.
The grip gives confidence to play with the edge of your boundaries without worrying about your hands and feet slipping
The mat is expensive but if you have a regular practice then go for it….without doubt this is the best mat I have used (and I have owned many ). I fully recommend this mat for a truly grounded practice!!

My yoga experience has transformed whilst using this mat! As ridiculous as that statement seems, I never realised how much I jiggled in downdog because of a bumpy mat. This mat just stays! Alignment markers didn’t factor into my purchase, I would not be without them now – love the help they give me in, well….. most postures actually. It’s thin, but comfy and really durable and durable is the carry bag too, with a meaty zip and shoulder pad. It’s eco friendly so another tick. My only observation ( criticism) is that a dark colour is preferable for me because it can mark,from sweat, makeup etc. I treated my self to this mat and it continues to treat me every practise! This was bought as a gift. I am told it is a wonderful yoga mat, but heavy to carry, so if you walk to your class beware.
Super none slip mat, extra padding needed if you have problems with your knees
Good solid grip and long enough for even someone over 6’2′” to practise various poses without going off the mat. Heavy and durable however this doors mean it is sight heavy than other mats. The design on the my helps with alignment and ensuring you are performing the pose correctly!
A gift for a member of my family, I don’t know why this thing is so expensive but she seems to love it.
Great grip, glad I purchased this! As I’m still a beginner this mat will help me feel more confident with trying yoga moves as my other mat didn’t have a great grip, which left me feeling like I wasn’t doing certain moves properly.

I am very pleased with the lifeforms mat, I bought one for myself and partner who are relatively new to Yoga. Our practice involves holding poses for long periods and there is no slip whatsoever even with sweat.The markings on the mat have also helped to correct our line and position, that has improved our practice. Yes expensive but in our opinion very much worth the spend.
I’ve been meaning to buy this for a year, and I’m so glad I finally did! The grip is great, it’s quite heavy but I expected it to be heavier based on the comments. I love the bag as well. I’ve been using it for around a week, I’ve not discovered any disadvantages yet.
This is a fantastic mat. No hand or foot slips in downward dog, super grip quality allows you to work on your pose instead of fighting slipping. Comfortable and a soft feel. The alignment marks work really well
This mat is by far the best one I have ever tried. It has exceptional grip and it is extra long in length. The markings on the surface are great for correct body placement during your workout. It is made from eco friendly materials & is really robust & will be very hard wearing & last for many years to come. Fantastic product & one you shouldn’t be without.
Only had the mat for 24 hours but I’m in love! I suffer from very sweaty hands when I do yoga and struggle to not slide on to my face in downward dog. This mat has the perfect grip for me, not so sticky that my feet get stuck but grippy enough to feel relaxed in challenging postures where grip is necessary. The alignment markings are very useful too. The only downside for me is it’s not very thick, so I use my old mat underneath to cushion my boney knees. For the record I’ve tried numerous mats and yoga towels over the years and none have come close to this… oh and the cat loves it too, she tries to use it as a scratching mat much to my dismay… have they infused it with catnip??
The grip on this mat is second to none. This is my second expensive yoga mat and it was worth every penny. If grip is important to you don’t hesitate, buy one you won’t regret it.
I can now do crow pose – sometimes – so treated myself to this gorgeous Liforme mat. It’s simply perfect.

Worth every penny. No more slipping or sliding in downward facing dog. Makes me feel more confident and sure footed during my yoga classes.
It’s expensive but worth every penny! With all the other mats I’ve used I’ve had to use chalk on my sweaty hands and feet but the grip on this mat is amazing. The only problem is you can’t slide into certain positions, for example splits but I’m happy to forfeit that for much better stability in the majority of poses.
If you love your yoga like I do, then this mat is a must. Get one abd you will see what I mean.
Not only am I super sweaty when working out but also have hyper hydrosis hands and feet . . . . this mat is non slip . . . it works . So much more enjoyable to work on .
Amazing yoga mat. Soft to the touch, great support and comfort and zero slippage. Since buying it my yoga teacher has revealed that she’s had hers now for almost 3 years and it’s still going strong; so it’s definitely well worth the money.

Worth the money! I bought this after an extremely disappointing purchase of the Manduka ProLite mat which was incredibly slippery. This mat is perfect. It has amazing grip, looks great and is lighter weight. If you’re deciding between the two – choose this one!

Excellent mat! I read other reviews & decided to buy this for myself. This is one of the best mat I have ever purchased for yoga. I had previously used Jade mats, which are good, but this one is a lot better. I was especially impressed when I had been on the treadmill one day & had yoga class next. Even fore, I was hot & sweaty, my hands did not slip when I held downwards facing dog position. This mat provides great grip.
This is without a doubt the best quality yoga mat I have ever used. It does not slip even when you sweat. It is a bit heavy to carry around, so perhaps not as easy to transport as some other brands, but the carrying case is very ergonomic. The alignment markings are also a really useful feature. I use mine regularly for Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi both at home and in classes. I bought it in black for easy cleaning! Definitely worth the money if you do a lot of mat work.
I tried to get around spending 100 on a yoga mat; I bought a copycat version (coughHeathcough), but unless my hands & feet were sweaty, I still found myself slipping. So in the end I bit the bullet and bought one of these; and now I’m kicking myself that I didn’t do it sooner.
Best mat I’ve ever had, and I’ve done my share of Down Dogs on many surfaces, but this has been the best grip I’ve had, including when my hand is sweaty! Just an amazing, awesome quality mat. Totally worth the investment.

I had been researching for a great yoga mat for a while. After comparing a few mats and reading a lot of reviews, I decided to go for the Lifeforme Yoga mat. Regarding the amazon channeling of Liforme sales, it is a shame that you haven’t included the Purple Earth mat as well. I had to cancel my order from Amazon and get it directly from the company’s site, but I am not too fussy about that.
I would definitely say that this is the best mat I have used. For the first time in my practice, i am steady and not sliding. I love the grip and the lines are quite helpful for the alignment.
I am carrying the mat to the different yoga studios and I don’t mind the weight (I walk about 40 minutes with the mat in a day when using it). I decided not to go for the travel version as I want to have the thick protection while practicing. The bag is okay, but certainly not as amazing it should had been for a 100 yoga mat.
Finally, I am not sure if anyone else experienced this problem, but the mat truly stunk the first time I took it off the bag. Like bad fish, stunk. Thankfully, as I practice the smell is getting away, I have used the mat twice and the smell is getting way better, but I am still bumped with the fact that my first introduction to my very expensive mat will be forever scarred from this horrible stink.
In conclusion, this is the most amazing mat I have ever used. Even the cons, like the weight, the not so great carry bag and the initial dead fish smell, have not put me off. However, they were enough to cost this incredible mat a star, think about the small details Liforme, don’t be cheap, deal with the smell and make the carry bag better.. You are getting a lot of money for them. Greed is not very yogi, is it?

A really great yoga mat. Nice and long. I’ve tried many mats over the years and the pattern really helps me line up my poses correctly. I chose the blue colour and it’s really beautiful as per the picture. It is heavy but the bag is lovely and really comfortable to carry. The mat and bag are really good quality. Hope to have this mat for many years to come.

The best yoga mat on the market by far. Only had it for a week and I am already hooked. Compared to all the mats I have owned this has more grip when in downward dog – which is my hardest for slippage. I would 100% recommend. I chose the grey and absolutely LOVE it. I really struggled with choosing what colour but the grey for me is calming and neutral. I’m so happy

Excellent mat – the best I have come across. Grips well, even when sweat falls onto it – it just absorbs the moisture. Also, doesn’t slip on the floor. I also like the markings as it helps to align in the postures. The carry bag that comes with it is good quality. Worth the investment – would highly recommend.
This is the most stunning mat! I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is beautifully grippy, the guides are extremely helpful for alignment, there is no unpleasant odour, the mat carrying bag is super, and my practice have evolved by leaps and bounds in the few weeks since I have used it in my practice. This mat has made a huge difference to my practice. The yoga studio I visit is really hot and I was sliding all over the place with my old mat! I was using so much chalk every class that my mat was a mess. This Lifeforme mat has totally solved the problem.
