I got this, my wife got a Donner https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0742B4GYB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Her’s maybe has a slightly nicer (smoother?) sound and a better feel (I thing the quality of the wood is better/nicer) but it’s quite big (I’m 6′). On balance I think I’d rather have mine and in another year I’ll go to a “propper” shop to test a new & better keeper 🙂 But for me now this is great 🙂
Brilliant first time learning had this now on to electric ace starter guita
Before making the purchase I went through a lot of reviews and had mixed feelings. After a while I decided to take the plunge and order. And I must say I’m very happy with the guitar. Every thing came intact. The only tiny snag is that it was a bit of hassle trying to get the guitar pick out from the holder. I am glad I made the purchase, now have to get back to relearning how to play after a long break.
Cants say it’s great but good for beginners, there was some minor scuffing on the “neck” but Its good for what it costs compared to other guitars. The stand is a bit flimsy too.

Great guitar for beginners and experienced guitarists, especially for the price. It’s well made, the action was perfect and it sounds great, I would have had no idea that it’s one of the cheapest guitars on Amazon if I didn’t already know. The only thing missing for the ultimate starter kit is a capo.

I’m very surprised how easy this is to play, bought for my 12 years old son, Naturally I tried it out having being able to play guitar it was pretty good I got to say, so well worth buying if you are a beginner.
I ordered this guitar and was disappointed to find out that 2 of the strings were overlapping, as a beginner I didn’t know how to restring it, fortunately I was able to return mine and be sent out a replacement product with ease, which came with no issues, amazing value for money. Would recommend for learners as it can help someone to decide whether they want to pursue the guitar. or not.

This guitar is amazing value for money. It feels good in the hands and appears to have a solid build as well. I’ve had it for just under a week now, but the strings have already settled and are holding the tuning well. The sound is really good too. Contrary to other people, my bag says “Martin Smith” and not “Matin Smith”.
My only gripe is that they didn’t finish the wood properly as there appears to be a scratch on the guitar. But it’s a small one that others won’t even notice
I know nothing about guitars. Bought this for my daughter (13) to practice on. Seems well made, had to keep retuning it to start with, but that was expected. It now holds it’s tune. Feels good, looks well made and is tuneful. As I said I know nothing about guitars but I am pleased with this and feel I have got my money’s worth.
My granddaughter loves this, she has just started guitar lessons at school and this is everything she needs

So, it works fine as a beginners guitar. It was a birthday present for my younger brother, and although it’s not too expensive for what you’d get, you’d expect the company to be able to put their own name on the guitar bag. Not “Matin Smith”. I found it funny, but now it looks like a counterfeit of what I actually purchased for my brother.

obviously not going to sound as great or quality of high end guitars such as Martin,Taylor,Fender etc but for the price you definitely can’t go wrong. This was purchased as a present, so had not yet been tested, on opening it, there was a rather obvious scratch as shown in the photos and also quite visible glue Mark’s. I would like to think the supplier
would have had quality control checks in place, but in this case, it doesn’t look like it. I would like to hear from the supplier with a suggestion of how to resolve this issue, as it has been on order for some considerable time , it needs either to be replaced, or a token gesture of a part refund. It is also advertised as ‘Full Size’ but I believe it’s only 3/4 size.

It will not get you a job with U2 and the Arctic monkeys. Neither will it get you into Cold play but it will certainly get you started in the path of getting noticed by your nextdoor neighbour.
My only real criticism would be that it arrived with extra strings but 2 were missing B-2nd and E-1st. Ideally having a full set of spares would have been appreciated! Despite that it’s still great value and I’m excited to learn.
